"Come to think of it, Gaara has been silent!"
The glare Gaara shot Sakura was enough to make the girl shrink back in fear that he might retaliate. It only served to increase her suspicion about the redhead. He was definitely a wolf!
"Everybody close your eyes." Tenten instructed. Now that the suspense was already building, nobody wanted to close their eyes completely anymore. They were so suspicious of each other! "Come on people, your eyes now." Tenten persuaded. "What do you have to say about the game, Shikamaru? No clues though."
The pineapple head just gave a small chuckle. "Very interesting." He said vaguely. Would his classmates find out who the wolves are? Or would they fall for their innocent acts?
"Good! You know the drill, werewolves!" The wolves pointed at somebody rather quickly this time. Aah, so the second wolf was already into the game and they even pointed at the same person! The turnout was so amusing, everyone would be so surprised! "Open your eyes everyone!"
This time all eyes were scrunched in suspicion but not at any particular person. This was so confusing. With Lee and Ino out, that meant that there were only two civilians left and the couple. The Witch and Prophet were still unharmed so those were still in the game. Then there were the werewolves. Who are they?!
"Last night, the person killed was Sakura."
"Nooo!" Sakura wailed as Tenten went to check her card.
"Sakura was a couple." The brunette declared and Naruto started crying.
"Sakura-chan! I'm happy that you are my partner!" Fishcake exclaimed happily. He didn't notice Hinata's sad face or Neji's dark look as he cluelessly blabbered on about the pinkette.
"Baka! Why do you have to be the other couple?! I wanted Sasuke-kun!" Sakura bopped the blond's head as if he chose the card on purpose. Poor Naruto. Neji was barely holding himself from beating Naruto up because Hanabi and Hinata had made him swear not to do anything.
"Alright, alright, discussion or move on or vote?" Tenten asked.
"Discussion." Most replied.
"Sixty seconds, go."
"Okay, so far I don't think Sasuke-kun is a werewolf. He would never kill me so brutally." Ino started.
"Hn." The raven snorted. He would totally do that!
"Hinata is just so cute and she would never kill me and Sakura so she's not a werewolf. I think she's a civilian." Ino continued, mistaking Sasuke's snort as his usual grunts of approval. "If she were a witch, she would have used her cure card on Naruto before the discussion."
Hinata blossomed red at Ino's analysis while Naruto turned to look at her. "Eh? Me?! Hinata, you're such a good friend!" The blond yelled happily and everyone face palmed. Idiot.
"Honestly, I don't think Kiba is anything important. He should be the last civilian." Ino ignored Kiba's indignant squawk and continued. "Which leads me to my suspicion. Gaara and Neji."
"Why me?" Neji asked in a careful tone.
"Because you've been suspiciously pointing out people since the start of the game!" Ino yelled. "You were the one to point at Lee and roused up our suspicion against him."
"That's true!" Karin exclaimed. "Then when Ino voiced her suspicion after you, you killed her and made it seem like Lee got back at Ino for saying something!"
"Ah- ah- AH! I GET IT NOW!" Kiba yelled. "You were the one that pushed all of us to vote Lee out too!" He accused.
"You weren't so against it back then, now were you?" Neji's vein was pulsing in anger.
"He confesses!" Ino screamed like someone in the 16th century who discovered a witch.
"I-Ino but what if N-Neji niisan-!" Hinata started and Sasuke stopped her.
"There are no siblings here, Hinata. We have every right to suspect Neji." The look Neji gave him was of betrayal.
"D-Didn't you suspect Gaara too?!" The long haired boy asked in frustration.
"Hey, don't drag Gaara into your mess!" Naruto defended his other best friend.
"I do believe that Neji-kun is a wolf."
"Even you Lee?!" Neji balked.
"So has this turned to a voting session?" Tenten asked. The "YES!" that followed could simply knock her off her feet if she were lighter than she was. "Okay then, let's vote. Everyone close-!"
"Forget this one, we vote Neji!" Ino campaigned like she was even allowed to vote.
"I also suspect Neji. I mean, after I accused Gaara he killed me so that we would think Gaara did it like we did with Lee." Sakura threw in her two cents.
"Sakura you too?!" Said class rep exclaimed unbelievably.
"Neji's the wolf!" Kiba chanted as his hand shot up.
"Hn. I also vote Neji."
"Neji!"
"Neji!"
"Ano..." Hinata twiddled her fingers. "Sorry nii-san!" She squeaked and raised her hand since all evidence pointed at her brother-cousin.
"Hinata?!" Now Neji was betrayed, so betrayed. His own sister...the heartbreak! The betrayal!
"Neji was voted out." Tenten announced. "Neji was..."
"Bwah- ha ha ha!" Shikamaru suddenly burst out laughing at the climax of Tenten's revelations which was so very uncharacteristic of him. He wiped at a tear that slipped down his face and waved his hands frantically as he tried to stop laughing. "I'm sorry- ha ha ha! Sorry, just...the look on Neji's face! Pfft! Ha ha ha!" He started laughing again. "Sorry, continue."
Shikamaru finally calmed down enough to allow Tenten to finish what she started.
"Neji was not a werewolf."
"Ahre?!" Kiba blinked in confusion.
"B-but but he was looking at you and Shikamaru- he accused- I don't understand!" Ino pulled her hair in frustration.
"I was looking at them to see if they would give me clues on who the wolves are with their expressions. Accusing people at random was just to get a reaction!" Neji snapped at the blond.
"Why didn't you just say that earlier?" Sakura asked, puzzled.
"I would, if you actually allowed me to talk!" Neji threw down his card to reveal the witch hat. He was the Witch?! "I would have used the poison card on you Ino, if you weren't out already so I'm using the cure card! I'll get those wolves!" Neji declared darkly.
"I'm glad I'm out, dattebayo." Naruto sweat dropped at the dark green aura Neji was emancipating.
"M-me too." Lee agreed.
"This is so fun! Who will win?! Everyone close your eyes!" Tenten squealed in delight. "Werewolves, open your eyes! Kill away!"
A maniacal grin slipped its way unto both wolves faces as they pointed at the person they wished to kill.
