R&R, longer note at the end

Lucy walked the short distance from the guild hall to her apartment quickly grabbing a few changes of clothes throwing them into a small suitcase she headed for the door before she stopped remembering something, she turned scanning her room before a glint of gold caught her eye. She smiled as she approached moving some paperwork to the side grabbing her trusted celestial spirit keys, at least all of you are still with me she thought as she attached them heading out the door to the station.

A few minutes later she arrived dragging her case as she saw Yukino smiling waving at her she approached, Yukino bowed slightly as Lucy approached her small white suitcase at her side.

"Thank you for allowing me to accompany you on this journey guild master" Yukino said when Lucy was in range of her, Lucy smiled warmly. She had always liked Yukino, they had met as rival's at the grand magic games but slowly over time became friends she had never expected to see her wearing the Fairy Tail symbol however.

A few moments later Lucy looked around hearing a rumbling getting closer with the sound of shocked gasps, she sighed feeling she knew why as her eyes fell on the red haired, armour clad woman dragging a rather large cart behind her full of different suitcases. This was nothing new for Lucy to witness as it had happened the first mission she had ever gone on with her, Erza stopped in front of them putting the cart down, looking sideways Lucy noticed the lack of surprise on Yukino's face making her know this was also not Yukino's first time witnessing this type of behaviour.

TWO DAYS LATER

Lucy stretched as she stepped off the train in the capital city of Fiore, she recognized it well the cherry blossoms in full bloom as they left the station the sweet scent filled the nostrils of the three girls. They looked around as they walked the beautiful scenery alone made this trip worthwhile, Lucy just wished that her visit here had been for fun not work.

They approached a nearby inn which would be their dwellings for the duration of their stay as Lucy entered she approached the desk to check them all into the shared room. After a while the three had managed to fit all of Erza's luggage into the room as Lucy laid back on the soft mattress sighing happily.

"We aren't here for fun" Erza's voice came from the other side of the room as Lucy sat up she smirked a little spotting Erza had taken it upon herself to lay full length on the bed nearest the door. Yukino chuckled watching the other two not fully able to blame them as she remembered how hard and uncomfortable the beds on their train had been.

"We should go and grab something to eat before we head for the meeting" Yukino suggested as Lucy got to her feet nodding her approval, Erza seemed to be reluctant to move but agreed as she followed the two out of the room. Despite her hardened and sometimes scary demeanour Lucy was happy to know there was still that softer side of Erza.

The three girls wondered around town finding a food stand ordering themselves each a meat bun, as they ate they began to take in some of the sights of the capital. The huge arena that sat on a mountain hidden slightly by the clouds, Lucy took a moment remembering the events of the games and the destruction that followed. Walking a little further they threw their rubbish in a nearby trash can as they saw the tall pillars of the castle, it was there that it all began. Escaping jail with Natsu and the others, witnessing her future self's death, the eclipse gate opening she still got chills at the thought of the dragons that had walked through.

Yukino gently put her hand on Lucy's shoulder snapping her back to her senses as she smiled following Erza towards the lower part and towards another castle like building, the high white marble signified the council's headquarters she could only wonder what she would find inside as they entered through the large oak wooden doors.

Lucy looked around at the white marble reception area, the black and white tiled floor glistened in the light from the torches lining the walls. Erza approached the reception desk as Yukino and Lucy took a seat on a nearby oak bench a little nervous, Erza approached them sitting down as they waited to be called in.

"They're ready for you now" they heard a calm voice say a few minutes later, Lucy looked to the others as they nodded all of them stood following the woman through the long hall ways to a bigger room. As they entered they saw twelve large black seats lining the back wall as the three were lead to sit in the oak chairs, as they sat down the woman walked to a door near the back opening it as she held a piece of parchment in front of her she cleared her throat before speaking.

"Erza Scarlet, Yukino Agria, Lucy Heartfillia" The woman began "Allow me to introduce you all to the twelve members of the wizard council. Beginning with number twelve, Wendy Marvell. Number eleven, Gajeel Redfox. Number ten, Angel. Number nine, Sting Eucliffe. Number eight, Meredy. Number seven, Gray Fullbuster. Number six, Seilah. Number five, Laxus Dreyar. Number four, Kagura Mikazuchi. Number three, Natsu Dragneel. Number two, Irene Belserno. The chairman, Zeref".

As the members of the council were called they all began to file in taking their seats, Lucy tried her best to hide her surprise as she watched and listened to the names. She knew all of these people, her friends, other members of her guild. Enemies who had tried to harm her extended family, it wasn't until the last name was called, the name of the chairman that made her blood run cold with fear as she saw him enter, dressed in all black as he sat down.

The black wizard himself, the most dangerous man she had ever known. Staring her right in the eyes was none other than the black wizard himself.

It was only a matter of time before we had to meet the wizard council, it took me a while to consider the members but I feel like I picked a very good selection and of course I wanted to have one that would surprise you all the most
