This will be the last student file for a while (heh, rhymes). I'll probably work on more at a later time, with the next team I cover being team BRNN (Brine). If and when I get to finishing Volume 2 for BlazBlue Alternative: Remnant, probably work on including another team for the files.

BlazBlue is owned by Arc System Works and RWBY is owned by Rooster Teeth. Please support the official release.

Description:
Ruby Rose is the youngest student to have been admitted into Beacon Academy, having been in the middle of her time at Signal Academy before she made quite an impression stopping a robbery performed by the notorious Vale crime lord, Roman Torchwick.
Ruby is many things, among which are kind, brave, idealistic, easily excited, and socially awkward. She tends to prefer combative subjects over socialization and is exuberant regarding sparring classes as well as weapon's maintenance class, both of which she has particularly high marks in.
Her idealism and excitability is remarkably inspiring, as it has allowed her to better interact with and break through the social barriers of more anti-social students such as her partner, Ragna, as well as other socially awkward students like Noel Vermillion.
Combatively speaking, Ruby was trained by her uncle, and our fellow colleague, Qrow Branwen, in scythe combat. Wielding such a weapon is no small feat, given how dangerous it is and how much of a labor such scythes tend to be in order to use, but Ruby possesses an aptitude with the weapon comparable to that of her uncle. Though she has stressed to me that she was rather incompetent at the start before she grew accustomed to it, I believe she may be selling herself short. Additionally, despite her energetic nature, she's far more coordinated and thoughtful than one would believe, as she has displayed a notable ability to take advantage of weaknesses when they make themselves known as well as employ cunning strategies, such as in sparring class when she combated her elder sister, Yang Xiao Long, or during the events of the Forever Fall incident.
She has been shown to make liberal use of her Semblance, Petal Burst, which has netted her with inhuman speed, leaving a trail of rose petals comprised of Aura in her wake. Based on my observations, I believe that this is but one application of her Semblance, and that, given how she seems to almost dissolve into the petals her Semblance creates, there may be far more to it than what it seems. Only time and training will tell, however.
While she does possess great talent with her weapon, without it, she has been shown to falter greatly. When in combat class, she becomes less effective when disarmed, with physical combat that's rather clumsy and easy to read. Additionally, while strong for her age, she is still ultimately a fifteen-year-old, and as such, carries more physical inefficiencies when compared to most of her peers, many of whom are at their physical peak.
However, one of Ruby's greatest attributes is also perhaps one of her greatest shortcomings. She often rushes into a situation with full-intent to help and without hesitation, but this also leaves her as fairly impulsive and with a disregard for her own well-being. As such, she, as Glynda describes, tends to think more with her heart than with her head. This approach has benefitted her, given that it means she's willing to take risks to herself in order to save others (one such example being when she rushed in to save her partner during initiation), it equally means that she tends to not think a situation through or pay much attention to collateral damage in the middle of a fight (such as when she was stopping Roman's robbery). While she is working to be less 'gun-ho', as some may call it, she still tends to have this issue more often than not.
But regardless, she is without a doubt one of the most noble and heroic students among the first years of this semester, always looking for the best in others and helping where she can. Being a leader and at a younger age than most is a difficult burden to carry, but I believe that she is up to the task.

Extra Notes:

* Given the speed at which she ate a plate of cookies I brought when I first met her at the police station, she seems to have a sweet tooth.

* Despite her demeanor, she has proven to have a gifted intellect. Among her team, she has the highest academic marks, though she has voiced complaints about the history course being hard to follow due to the speed of the class (Note: perhaps you should ease up on the caffeine, Doctor Oobleck?).

* She's been seen writing with her right and and wielding her weapon with her left, implying that she is ambidextrous.

* IMPORTANT! Much like her mother, Summer Rose, she possesses silver eyes. As far as has been gleamed over, no incidents have occurred, though any that do occur should be reported and discussed among the staff only. We will discuss what to do next when it occurs.

** Regarding Summer Rose, she is currently labelled as MIA (Missing In Action).

* Of her teammates, she's closest to Ragna, sharing something of a sibling-like bond. Perhaps it's Ragna's personality being reminiscent of her uncle, Qrow Branwen's personality, but replacing alcoholism with a needlessly vulgar tongue, that contributes to this.

* Outside of her team, her closest friends are her elder sister, Yang Xiao Long, and said sister's partner, Pyrrha Nikos.

And we're done...for now at least. Like I said, I'll be getting back to these later on. Right now, I'll be working more on The Silver Raven and trying to finish Chapter 7 of that story before I make any more student files.
