Reyna POV

"The 12 Legion should immediately prepare for war", Jupiter said. "Be on the lookout for attacks and in touch with the Greeks. This is the end of this assembly. Farewell, my heroes."

Everyone got up and began to leave. I, however, had to go on a meeting with the Senate. When I reached the Senate House, everyone began sitting down and taking out their notes.

"Praetor Reyna, report on the status of the legion please.", said the head senator. (Not sure how exactly this works lol).

"The legion is in well shape, we have 592 members, 123 in the first, 96 in the second, 109 in the third, 145 in the fourth, and 119 members in the 5th cohort ready to fight." I responded. More demigods have been found as a result of Percy and Jason's decision. They had helped make minor gods welcome, in which we had found more of their demigods than ever possible.

Senator Jory nodded. "Centurion Dakota tells me the newest member seems to be quite powerful. He is yet to be claimed. Be sure to visit him some time."

"Yes, sir", I responded. The new kid, Elrond,didn;t seem like much from what I can see, but supposedly he took down a whole pack of hellhounds by himself. His father could be Pluto, but with primordials joining the war, it was hard to be sure. He could be the offspring of Nyx or Erebus. I left the senate house to confront this newcomer.

Percy's POV

The gods made me a General in the war. They said I would be best leading because I had already survived the past two wars. I had already been in contact with Reyna about the upcoming war and preparations.

I stood at the entrance of the camp as a girl with blonde curls came up. I smiled.

"Hey Wise Girl, glad to see you made it back in one piece". Annabeth had gone on a mission to recover some ancient books that were written by Chaos and handed to the primordials, before being hidden in some temple in Quebec.

She grinned and said, "Of course I did, you should have more faith in me Seaweed Brain". Annabeth always brought a smile to my face. We had been dating for 4 years now. I wished everything would be more peaceful, but it looks like another war is coming.

"You know, we never have any peace", I said sadly. Annabeth nodded.

"I've heard. But it keeps us strong! I can't imagine us still fighting when I'm 50!"

I laughed along with her.

"I gotta see what in this book anyways. My mother keeps telling me to read the book. Bye, see you later!"

I nodded at her and went off to help Ethan with her training, just as several demonic figures emerged. Peleus was fighting them off, but one grabbed him by the foot and threw him into Thalia's pine. I ran and sounded the alarm. Several campers were already fighting water figures from the seaside. There had to be at least 50 of them and hundreds of the demonic figures attacking the camp. They passed through the magic barrier as if it wasn;t there.

Well, time to check out my new powers, I thought. I turned toward one of theICE figures and screamed at me as it swiped at me, sending dark, chaotic energy at me. I deflected it with Riptide, and noticed it had a nice glimmer to it. I sent a silent thanks to Pontus as I shot a torrent of water at the dude blasted it a good 100 feet back as it turned into black dust and dissolved into the soil. I looked in confusion. They should stay dead, not go back to the Earth. Was Gaia rising again? But Leo made her fade and come back with Calypso. I saw it happen. I turned and saw the other demi-primordial charge toward me, hunters in tow.

Thalia smiled at me and said "Sup kelp head, looks like you got an upgrade", nodding at my sword.

"I, uh, had a talk with Etahn's dad."I replied. Together, we rushed into battle, like the old days. I saw Crystal raise a sword shining with light as she cutthourgh the demons like they were butter. We were finishing off the demons, and Ethan was not doing bad either. He shot sharp water at the figures and the campers distracted them. A ripple of terror passed through the camp as everyone dropped their weapons. I just manage to resist.

Ethan and Crystal were not doing good either, but they were holding their ground.

A man in pitch black armor approached us. I had seen him before, in Taurus. This was the primordial Taurus attacking us. I don't know how he got out of hell, but he was here, and this was bad.

The skies above us opened and on a cloud stepped out a shing woman and a man. The man shot a light wave at the battlefield, eliminating any other creature still left.

"Taurus, be gone from this place. You will not attack today."

Taurus boomed with laughter. "You think you can defeat me?! There is yet worse to come. I'll see you soon, when the creature of hell awakens and takes over this desirable race. Taurus then disappeared in a swirl of dark matter. Hemera I assumed, turned to Crystal.

"My daughter, you did well today". I noticed the guy who I think was Ather, seemed to be on the edge. Crystal smiled and waved at her mother.

"You guys will need to find the Shield of Proslight to defend your camp. I believe the Daughter of Wisdom knows its properties." Annabeth nodded. "Consult your Oracle for answers", Hemera continued, "and be safe." The rift in the skies shut off, leaving us staring at the spot where the pridormial once stood.

Hermes suddenly appeared. "Zeus wants you guys to be on the quest immediately and I came for the information of the shield."he said.

"The Shield was used in war by Aether, and it was created to keep demons away. When it was knocked out of Aether hand, it plummeted to Earth and got buried somewhere. Aether crafted a new Shield called Pilurs after that, because Chaos had hidden it."

Hermes nodded. "The enemies are searching for it too, so be careful demigods." He looked at me and said, "Percy, you are to lead the quest." He then flushed away.

I started walking towards the Oracle temple. Around me campers were cleaning up. Casualties were minimal because the enemies were outnumbered, but I knew we would be overwhelmed one day. We had about 600 campers, but if Taurus was that powerful, he could definitely summon more.

I entered and saw Rachel.

She smiled and said, "Looking for trouble?"

I sighed and said, "Yeah a quest." Her eyes lit up and turned green.

The twins of the seas find their match,

The daughter of death meets her fears

In the sacred place of snow

Findth warmth in the deep

Rachel collapsed and I picked her up and put her on her bed, before walking out to prepare for the quest.

Taurus POV

I summoned the gemstone Chaos had given me when I was borned. Now was the time, I thought. Channeling dark power through it, it turned into a dark blade which I used to cut a rift through space to the faded realms. I called her mentally. Gaia, come. A shadow moved across the landscape I saw and she appeared next to me.

"Welcome back, my wife."

Third Person's POV

Percy decided to take Ethan with him, since he didn;t know any water twin and was blessed by Pontus. He chose Eythora with him as well, seeing she was the most powerful female daughter of Hades currently. Annabeth was also with them for information on the book she had memorized.

"1 day of camp and you're already on a quest. ALmost like me I see." Percy said to Ethan.

"How long was your- Wow.". Ethan stared at Kythira. Percy smirked. She was pretty, but he doubted she would like Ethan.

Eythora turned and narrowed her eyes at Ethan. "What are you staring at?"

"The uh, thing behind you" Etha responded. Eythira looked behind her and saw nothing. Percy started laughing and Annabeth laughed too. Eythora glared at Percy but he continued laughing. Together, they walked out of camp and went on their life changing quest.
