Chapter 4 – Getting to Know Each Other
Perenelle walked Harry and Narcissa to their cottage and told them that dinner would be at 6. They thanked her for providing them their own place to stay and then put all of the books on the table before taking a look around. The cottage was very similar to the one the Flamels lived in. It had a small kitchen and living room area downstairs with a large bath and open bedroom upstairs. They only difference that Harry saw was that the decorations were more modern. When they reached the bedroom and Narcissa saw the empty wardrobe she remembered that they had no clothing or necessities here and called for Kreacher.
"Kreacher, we will not be returning to Grimmauld place for a while. Could you please bring our things here. I will, of course, be doing a full inspection when we do return so I expect the house to be in perfect condition. Do not disappoint me," said Narcissa firmly.
"Yes mistress, Kreacher will bring your things here and then ensure the house is ready for your return," said Kreacher with a deep bow before he popped away. With that taken care of, they went back downstairs and settled on the sofa. Harry sat close to Narcissa and took her hands in his and kissed the top of each one gently before he spoke. 'He's so sweet. Lucius never treated me this way. I know it's not fair to keep comparing him to Lucius, but it is impossible to not notice the differences. This must be what it feels like when the person you are with actually cares for you.'
"Are you ready to see my memories of meeting Tom?" Asked Harry.
"Yes, I really want to see your conversation with him. I want to understand," said Narcissa as she looked over at him intently.
"It is fairly longer than the other one and I would imagine significantly more powerful since I was scared out of my mind. Are - will- you know- will you be alright?" Finished Harry with a blush.
Narcissa smiled at him gently. "I'll be fine Harry, I think. Either way, I really want to see your memory. Please share it with me," responded Narcissa as she squeezed his hand. 'Is it bad that I'm kind of hoping this leads to something? Maybe, but I can't really bring myself to care. I've been in a sexless marriage for the last 16 years. I'm not going to waste time now that I have a chance for something better with someone else.'
"Okay Narcissa, I will show you, but if afterwards it's too much and we need to deal with any - you know- effects - please tell me. I can be kind of clueless sometimes," Harry said with a shy grin. Narcissa laughed and agreed.
Narcissa closed her eyes as Harry let go of her hands and brought his fingers to her temples. It was quicker this time and much less distorted in the beginning than the last one. It was clear to her that this was a memory that was easier for him to pull up, one that he clearly thought about often.
She could feel her heart racing as she looked at the still form of the youngest Weasley girl on the floor in front of her. She looked up to see a handsome young man in Slytherin robes talking to her. She noticed they were in a large stone cavern, and behind the young man was an imposing statue of Salazar Slytherin himself. She could feel the damp coldness of the air and shivered slightly despite the feeling of adrenaline coursing through her.
"Killing mudbloods doesn't matter to me anymore. For many months now my new target has been you. How is it that a baby, with no extraordinary magical ability could defeat the greatest wizard of all time? How did you escape with nothing but a scar, while lord Voldemort's powers were destroyed?" She heard the young man say.
"Why do you care how I escaped? Voldemort was after your time." She heard Harry yell. She could feel his rising fear and exhaustion as he spoke.
"Voldemort is my past, present, and future." She heard as she watched the young man write his name in the air and then flick his wand so that the letters rearranged. 'Oh Morgana.'
"You see?" he whispered. "It was a name I was already using at Hogwarts, to my most intimate friends only, of course. You think I was going to use my filthy Muggle father's name forever? I, in whose veins runs the blood of Salazar Slytherin himself, through my mother's side? I, keep the name of a foul, common Muggle, who abandoned me even before I was born, just because he found out his wife was a witch? No, Harry - I fashioned myself a new name, a name I knew wizards everywhere would one day fear to speak, when I had become the greatest sorcerer in the world!"
Narcissa gasped as Harry removed his fingers from her temple and she was pulled out of the memory. She could feel Harry's magic radiating through her and before she could even think about what she was doing she was straddling his lap as she kissed him fiercely. Harry responded enthusiastically, parting his lips when she demanded entrance as he ran his hands up and down her bare legs. They stayed like that, exploring each other's mouths until Harry guided her arms around his neck and grabbed her by the thighs as he stood. Narcissa wrapped her legs around his waist while she maintained the kiss. She moaned at the feeling of Harry's hardening manhood against her centre as Harry carried her upstairs to the bedroom.

A couple hours later they came back downstairs, both completely sated and blissfully happy. Harry made Narcissa a cup of tea while he rummaged through the kitchen for something to eat. He quickly made them each a sandwich and placed Narcissa's down in front of her with a soft kiss. He moved his chair over next to hers and then opened the hand bound book from Merlin. He laid it out on the table in front of them so they could both see it clearly while they ate. They stared at it in shock when they saw the note that was on the first page.
Dear Harry and Narcissa Potter-Black,
If you are reading this then I have rightfully placed my trust in the Flamels and they have found you. I am sure they have already told you about my vision. In this book you will find everything you need to fulfil the destiny I foresaw.
Harry, once you have taken the name Emrys, I hope you will take the rings I have left you and go home to Albion to master the way of the Druid. Cathbad will be expecting you. I have built somewhere for you to live while you are there, and I believe it will meet even your dear wife's approval. The Druid enclave I call home is a thriving, though isolated community and I think you can learn much from them on your journey to becoming the man you are destined to be. It will take you twenty years to master the way of the Druid, but when you return I believe you will have how to defeat your dark lord. Nicolas can explain how the rings work.
Before you go to the Druid, consider spending some time getting to know Nicolas and Perenelle, learn what Nicolas can teach you about alchemy and how to control your magic. There is also much you can learn about your connection to each other. When you are ready, drink the elixir and then when you return take the time you need to prepare and end Voldemort's supremacy before any more lives are needlessly lost. Use your power for good, choose what is right over what is easy and create a world where future generations, pureblood and muggles alike can prosper in harmony.
There is something you should both know about the stone. With such great power comes great sacrifice and you will make many to live the immortal life you are destined for. Narcissa, once you have used the elixir you will not be able to bear children, that is the cost of immortality. Harry, you will be able to give children to another, but you will never father an heir. There will be few people you will be compatible with, even over the many lifetimes you will live, so I urge you to give them a chance when they come along. You will need all the love you can find to fight the growing darkness. The love from those who care for you will be your guiding light.
Also, there will always be a danger to those closest to you brought by those seeking the power you will hold. A time will come when you realize that you will have to leave the life you know behind, to keep those you care for safe. Before that time comes, I suggest you find a secluded place that brings you joy, where you can live your many lifetimes in peace until darkness takes over again and the world is in need of you once more.
I know it can be a burden to watch so many lifetimes pass, to have so many identities and to lose so many you care for. Love each other, support each other, for in the end your connection will be all you have.
Yours,
Merlin
When they finished the note, they began reading the book. They were so enthralled by what they were reading that they completely missed Perenelle's multiple knocks at the door. When Harry eventually heard the loud, repetitive tapping noise, he pulled himself out of his reverie and got up to answer the door.
"Hello dear, I just wanted to let you know that dinner is ready," said Perenelle softly.
"Sorry Perenelle, we were reading Merlin's book and lost track of the time," responded Harry.
"I figured that's what had happened. I imagine it is a thrilling tale if he wrote it himself. Tell me, is it short and to the point or does he prattle on like he did in real life?" asked Perenelle. Harry laughed at her question and turned to Narcissa.
"Are you ready to eat?" he asked. Narcissa nodded and walked over to Harry and took his hand. Together they followed Perenelle back to her cabin for dinner.

After dinner, while they enjoyed their pudding, Narcissa asked Nicolas what he knew about Tom Riddle.
"Did you ever meet him?" She asked.
"Yes, once. Albus brought him here about, what 56 years ago, Perenelle?"
"Yes, I believe so." Perenelle responded.
"It was a couple years before that poor muggle died at Hogwarts. He was Dumbledore's golden boy. He was charming and clever, but you could tell there was something sinister in the way he interacted with people. I believe he grew up in a muggle orphanage until he went to Hogwarts. Albus was obsessed with the boy until Trelawney had her vision and he shifted his focus to you Harry."
"Why did he grow up in a muggle orphanage?" Asked Narcissa.
"His mother was a squib that had entrapped his father using a love potion. She died shortly after giving birth to him, and the father wanted nothing to do with him, so he was left at the local orphanage," explained Nicolas.
"I see," said Narcissa deep in thought. Perenelle could see how uncomfortable she was becoming with the topic so she quickly changed the subject.
"So, what have you learned from Merlin's book so far." Perenelle inquired.
"You haven't read it?" Harry asked in surprise. 'If I had that book for over 500 years, I certainly would have read it at least once.'
"We can't. If either of us opened it, all we would see is blank pages. I believe you and Narcissa are the only ones that can read it," explained Nicolas.
"Oh, he was very secretive wasn't he, Merlin?" Nicolas laughed.
"Yes, he was."
"Well, he said we should spend a month or so with you so you can teach me alchemy and help me learn to control my magic and then go to Albion and master the way of the Druid, which will apparently take us twenty years. Do you know anything about them? Have you been there before?" Harry asked eagerly. Nicolas laughed again. It was nice to have this kind of young enthusiasm around again. Narcissa smiled as she thought the same thing.
"No, I've never been there and I'm afraid I know very little. I only know they specialize in arcane magic, telepathy, and the healing arts," replied Nicolas. Harry nodded.
"I'm sure Merlin will tell us more about them in the book," chimed in Narcissa, sensing Harry's disappointment. Harry smiled at her and nodded before taking another bite.
"He said we needed rings to get there and that you would be able to tell us how they work. I am assuming the rings will also help with this whole twenty-year thing because I'm pretty sure Tom will have killed all of the muggleborns by the time we got back if we were gone that long," said Harry.
"Aww yes, the rings. I completely forgot about those," said Flamel. "Let me go get them for you, and then I'll explain." Harry continued to eat his second serving of pudding while Narcissa sipped her tea.
When Nicolas came back down the stairs, he handed Harry two small, black ring boxes. Harry opened one of them to reveal a petite feminine ring with a large shimmering sapphire in the middle surrounded by small diamonds. Harry took the ring out and gently slid it on to Narcissa's ring finger. Then he kissed her knuckle gently and put on the ring from the other box.
"They are the Emrys House rings, designed by Merlin, especially for you. They cannot be removed and no one else would be able to wear them. You are correct that they will assist you with your twenty-year dilemma. He enchanted them with a time altering charm that he created. You have heard of time turners, yes?" Both Harry and Narcissa nodded. "Time turners were developed using the same foundation as Merlin's charm, it just significantly more advanced. He never revealed his research or the spell he developed, if he had time turners would be capable of much more then they currently are. Those rings will allow you to live the full twenty years with the Druid while freezing time here so that no time will pass while you are gone."
How is that possible?" Asked Narcissa. Nicolas laughed.
"Don't ask me, I was always awful at time magic, but it's kind of like he created an alternative timeline that you can go to without impacting this one," said Nicolas with a shrug.
"What will happen while we are there? Will we age and come back twenty years older, or will we come back as we are now?" asked Harry curiously.
"You will age, unless you use the elixir," responded Nicolas.
"Can you tell us about the elixir? How does it work?" asked Harry.
"It isn't true immortality really, nothing can keep you alive forever, not even the dark magic Voldemort has dabbled in. The elixir simply slows down your body's cellular degeneration to a point that you will age approximately 1 year to everyone else's 30, maybe less if you stay fit and take good care of your body, maybe a little more of you don't. Either way, you would eventually die, but nobody has used the elixir long enough to find out how long that would take," explained Nicolas.
"Fascinating, so if I used the elixir today when Draco is 106, I would be only 36 or at least look 36? That will be so strange," said Narcissa as she thought about it. By this point in the conversation both Harry and Narcissa were feeling overwhelmed, so they said goodnight to Nicolas and Perenelle and headed back to their cabin. On the way out, they promised to join them for lunch the next day.
As soon as they walked into the cabin and the door shut behind them Narcissa broke down into tears. Harry hesitated for a moment before he took her in his arms and held her close.
"What's wrong Narcissa?" He whispered as he kissed the top of her head. "I know it is a lot to take in. We don't have to go if you don't want to."
"No, it's not that, I have no problem with going, especially if we don't lose any time here - it's just- all this time he was deceiving everyone, he was deceiving me," she said as she took a calming breathe and tried to regain her composure.
"Who are we talking about Narcissa, Merlin?" asked Harry confused.
"No," said Narcissa with a sigh. "Voldemort. I knew he could be brutal and cruel, but I never thought for a moment that everything he said he stood for was a lie. He isn't who he made us believe. He used my family, so many families, by taking the pureblood ideology as his own, and then he tainted it. I feel so stupid for not realizing what he was doing. I stood by while he did so many horrible things, while Lucius did so many horrible things because I thought those ideals were worth protecting, but none of it was real. He doesn't care about purebloods. He doesn't care about anyone."
"Voldemort once told that there is power and those too weak to seek it. I am pretty sure that it the only thing he has ever cared about." Said Harry. Narcissa stopped crying and looked up at Harry intently, determination blazing in her eyes.
"I will do whatever I can to support you against him Harry. I will stand with you, I will teach how to be a Lord, I will help you gain allies. You must stop him before there are no pure bloods, or wizards for that matter left to protect," said Narcissa firmly. Harry smiled at her confidence in him.
"I'm glad you'll be with me Narcissa. I've gotten used to being on my own, but it will be nice to have you by my side," he said honestly.
"Well, once you take the Emrys name you will be the richest, most powerful wizard in our world, so it would be foolish of me not too," she replied with a cheeky grin. Harry laughed and kissed her temple once more before he pulled away.
"Let's read through a few more pages of the book and then get some sleep. I have a feeling we are going to busy for a while." Said Harry. Narcissa nodded and joined him on the sofa. When they got upstairs, they were pleasantly surprised to see all of their belongings neatly stored away. They went to sleep that night wrapped up in each other's embrace, both sleeping more soundly than they had in years.
o – o – o – o – o
Harry woke up early the next morning and went downstairs to make breakfast. Just as he was pouring Narcissa a cup of tea and preparing to put her breakfast on a tray, he heard her coming down the stairs.
"It smells amazing," she said as she gave him a soft kiss and then took the tea from him and sat down at the table. "I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that you can cook. Is there anything you can't do?" Harry chuckled as he came over and put a plate in front of her.
"Cooking was the only chore the Dursley's made me do that I actually enjoyed. It helps me clear my head. But, to answer your question, I am a terrible dancer," said Harry with a mischievous grin as he sat down with his own plate.
"Oh, well that will not do. We will have to remedy that before you take up your titles. No one is going to want to ally with a lord that can't dance," teased Narcissa.
"Do you like to dance Narcissa?" Asked Harry seriously.
"I do. I loved it when I was younger, and though I do not get a chance to dance very often I have always been fond of it."
"Then I will learn. That way I can dance with you whenever you want." He said sincerely. Narcissa gave him a wide smile and kissed his cheek.
After breakfast, they went for a walk around the property. They stopped when they found a quiet, secluded spot near a stream. They put a blanket down under a large willow and relaxed in the warm summer air.
"If we do as Merlin suggested and go learn from the Druid, what would you like to do while we are there?" asked Harry.
"Hmm, well both Merlin and Nicolas mentioned their affinity for the healing arts. I would very much like to learn more about that. I wanted to be a mediwitch when I was at Hogwarts, Madam Pomfrey even offered me an internship in my sixth year, but then - well- Lucius didn't want a wife that worked," said Narcissa sadly, as she remembered the and only conversation they had about it.
"I think it's a wonderful idea Narcissa. If you are interested in healing, then you should definitely pursue it. Merlin knows I get enough injuries," said Harry with a smirk. "You can do whatever you want Narcissa. If you want to work, I will support you."
'Thank you, Harry," responded Narcissa with a genuine smile.
"Twenty years is a long time," said Harry, changing the subject.
"Yes, it is, but I suppose compared to 600 years it's not many at all," responded Narcissa. Harry laughed.
"Yes, that's true. It will be weird though, to live there for so long and then come back here like none of it ever happened and live those same twenty years over again," said Harry.
"And imagine everyone's surprise when you show up at Hogwarts for your sixth year and your twenty years older," teased Narcissa. Harry laughed again.
"Yah, that will be something. So, you are okay with going then?"
"Yes Harry, I will follow you anywhere you ask me to go," said Narcissa.
"From what Merlin has mentioned about the Druid it sounds like they mostly live in caves and forests. I know Merlin said he built somewhere for us to live, but I'm not really sure what to expect. Are you sure you'll be okay potentially living in a cave or something?" asked Harry. Narcissa laughed softly.
"It might be an adjustment, but I'll manage. I'm more adaptable than I look Harry. Besides, I do have magic, so I'm sure I can make wherever we live comfortable enough," replied Narcissa.
"And how do you feel about the elixir? About all the immortality stuff?" asked Harry.
"That certainly is harder to wrap my head around. It will be hard to watch everyone we care for die. Our children, grand-children, great-grandchildren, friends, and it will be difficult to have to fake our deaths and move every time someone discovers who we really are, but I feel like Perenelle did in the memory they showed us of the night they met Merlin. I feel like it is what we are meant to do, that some time many, many years from now we will be needed again," said Narcissa honestly. 'It is so easy to talk to him, he actually listens.'
"Yah, I feel it too," responded Harry. "What about the - you know- I mean - would you want to have more children?" said Harry with a deep blush. Narcissa noticed his blush and smirked.
"I always wanted a girl," she said shyly. "I would be happy to have more children if it is what you want." Harry nodded.
"I've never had much in terms of family. I think I would really like to have children with you." Narcissa was surprised by the joy she felt at the thought of having Harry's children. She could already see a little brown-haired, blue-eyed girl in pig tails running around with Harry wrapped around her little finger. She smiled, truly hoping it would come true.
"I know you want to use the elixir soon, you know to preserve your youthful beauty as you said," Harry commented with a smirk, pulling her out of her thoughts. "But, I think I'll wait awhile to use it, at least 10 years. I would hate to be stuck as a teenager for the next 150 years. No one would ever take me seriously." Narcissa laughed at that.
"That's probably true," she responded. "Harry, can I ask a favour of you?"
"Sure," said Harry.
"Draco is supposed to take the dark mark at the end of the summer. I know Voldemort will use him to punish Lucius' for his mistakes. Will you help me get him somewhere safe before then?" She asked shyly. Narcissa was surprised at how timid the request came out. She was usually very demanding and determined when it came to Draco, but she was used to Lucius' response when she asked for something and she was nervous about how her new husband would respond. 'My new, extremely powerful, and deliciously eager husband. How wonderful it is to not be married to Lucius anymore.'
"Narcissa," said Harry softly as he turned towards her and took her hands in his. "Draco and I may not be friends but I would never want to see him forced into something like that. Of course, I will help you. Besides, he's family now, and I have a saving people thing remember?" Narcissa chuckled relieved that he would help.
"Yes, I remember. Thank you, Harry."
"I promise I will get Draco to safety and that I will protect him to the best of my ability. We will have plenty of time to work out the details," responded Harry. Narcissa nodded. They continued to talk until Harry's stomach started to rumble and then they headed to the Flamel cottage for lunch. While they were eating, Harry asked Nicolas what he knew about Albion.
"Do you happen to know where we will be living?" he asked.
"No, Merlin was never specific about it. He said it would meet your needs and nothing more. I think he fancied the idea of being able to surprise you," said Nicolas cheerfully.
"Is it possible to bring anyone with us to Albion?" Asked Narcissa. "We do not know where we will be living, so I was thinking it might be helpful to bring a house elf with us. Then no matter where we are at, we will be able to make sure it's comfortable."
"That's a great idea Narcissa. I'm not sure I'd be any good at fixing things if they broke," said Harry with a smile.
"They would need rings like yours, but I know enough about how Merlin made them that I should be able to make you another one before you go," replied Nicolas.
"That would be great Nicolas, thank you." Said Narcissa.
"So, have you decided if you will follow Merlin's plan?" asked Perenelle.
"Yes, I believe we will," said Harry.
"Well, we should be able to make good use of a month. How about we start tomorrow. I can work with you while Perenelle works with Narcissa," said Nicolas. He smiled when he noticed their hesitancy to be apart. "Don't worry we will ensure you get plenty of time alone together," said Nicolas with a wink.
After lunch they said their goodbyes, agreeing to come by for breakfast in the morning and then get started. On their walk back to their cabin, Narcissa asked if Harry was okay with them bringing Kreacher with them.
"Please Narcissa, any house elf but Kreacher, I know he'll be fine for you, but he hates me. I don't want to have to be constantly worried that he's sneaking rat into my dinner or something," said Harry.
"Well, do you own any other house elves?" Asked Narcissa with an exasperated sigh.
"I don't think so," he said.
"Then I don't think we have any other option Harry, I don't have access to the Malfoy elves anymore," responded Narcissa. Harry's eyes widened as he thought of something.
"What about Dobby?" he asked.
"The hyperactive elf that Lucius was always punishing?" Asked Narcissa. She was forced to stop walking when she felt Harry's magic pulse through her. She turned and saw the angry fire in his eyes and realized her mistake.
"I'm sorry Harry. I would be more than happy if Dobby came with us, I was always fond of him." Harry took a calming breath and nodded. They started to walk again and Narcissa took his hand in hers as she spoke.
"Lucius was so angry when you freed Dobby, but I was glad for him. He never treated any of his house elves with kindness, but for some reason he was especially cruel to Dobby. I remember being awed that someone would go to so much trouble for a house elf. Having had the chance to know you better I understand now," said Narcissa.
"My saving people thing?" asked Harry. Narcissa chuckled.
"Yes," she replied. When they reached the cottage, Harry called for Dobby.
"The great Harry Potter sir calls on Dobby?" said the elf as he appeared with a pop. He stood there bouncing on balls of his feet in excitement.
"Dobby, Narcissa and I are going to be going away for a while and we were wondering if you would like to go with us. We could use your help caring for wherever we live. As the head of the houses of Potter, Black, and soon to be Emrys it is my duty to make my wife as comfortable as possible," said Harry with a smirk as he glanced at Narcissa. Narcissa rolled her eyes playfully and then smiled down at Dobby kindly. Dobby returned her gaze intently.
"Dobby is happy to see you are in better hands lady Potter-Black soon to be Emrys. Harry Potter is the greatest wizard in the world he will take good care of you," said Dobby.
"Yes, I believe he will," she replied with a flirty smile, causing Harry to blush.
"Mistress was always nice to Dobby. Dobby would be happy to work for the great Harry Potter-Black-Emrys and his lady," said Dobby with a determined nod.
"That's great Dobby, I will pay you 5 shillings a day and give you one day off a week." Said Harry. Narcissa raised her eyebrows in surprise.
"5 shillings a month and one day off a month, and Wes bring my friend Winky with us. Winky desperately need a family to serve." Harry looked to Narcissa for her opinion, and she nodded her acceptance of the idea.
"Make it 5 shillings a week and you have a deal, Dobby," countered Harry.
"It is too much Harry, sir." Said Dobby.
"You can put some of it towards my Christmas present if you must," replied Harry. Dobby nodded enthusiastically.
"Very well, Master Harry Potter-Black soon to be Emrys, sir," said Dobby as he put out his hand.
"Master Harry will be fine, Dobby," replied Harry as he took the elf's hand and shook it gently. A small dome of light encased their hands for a moment sealing the bond between Dobby and his new master. When the light disappeared Dobby's smile appeared to grow even wider, if that was even possible.
"Dobby will go get Winky." He said as left with a pop. A few minutes later he returned with a shy, trembling house elf hiding behind him. Winky peered around Dobby and addressed Harry nervously.
"Dobby says you will take Winky into your family?" said the elf hesitantly.
"Yes Winky, if that is what you want," replied harry kindly. Winky nodded and stepped out from behind Dobby. She lifted her shoulders in pride.
"Winky be a good house elf. Winky work hard for her family," she pledged.
"I'm sure you will Winky. Would you like the same deal as Dobby?" asked Harry.
"No, master Harry sir, Winky only want to bond with powerful master and have a family to serve," said Winky in response.
"Very well Winky," said Harry as he put out his hand. Winky took it happily.
"We will be staying here for a month and then we will be leaving for Albion. We will be there for twenty years before we come back here," Harry told them. Dobby and Winky nodded. "For now, why don't you find a place to make your own and then we plan on having dinner around 5." With two matching bows, Dobby and Winky disappeared with a pop. When Dobby and Winky left, Harry and Narcissa moved to the sofa to finish reading Merlin's book. They took a break for dinner and then continued. They finally finished the last page just as Narcissa was beginning to nod off. Harry helped her up to her feet and then took her hand and led her up to the bedroom. When they reached the top of the stairs Narcissa smile shyly at Harry before letting go of his hand and walking over to the wardrobe. Harry watched as she took some silk pajamas out of a drawer and then started towards the bathroom. He took a few quick steps to block her path. He kissed her gently before taking the pajamas out of her hands and putting them on the end of the bed. He slowly and intimately removed her dress and undergarments and then stared at her for a moment before giving her another gentle kiss.
"I don't want you to think that I'll only be intimate with you when you are reacting to my magic. You are a very beautiful woman Narcissa and I want to be with you. I know we joke a lot about my saving people thing, but I wouldn't have married just anyone, even it was to save their life. Please don't feel like you've trapped me because that's not how I see it." Narcissa looked at him in surprise.
"How did you know what I was thinking?" She asked. Harry just shrugged. Narcissa sighed deeply as she sat down at the edge of the bed and took Harry's hand to pull him down next to her.
"You're right, I was feeling insecure. I was raised to always be confident and never show emotion, but with you I - I feel so many things, and this is all so new to me. The only thing I know of marriage is what I had with Lucius. You are, luckily, very different from him, but it can be confusing because I never know what to expect from you and I don't know what you expect from me."
"I can understand that. It has been overwhelming for me at times too. I think we just have to make sure we talk things through, like we are right now. We still have a lot to learn about each other, but Narcissa, if you find yourself unsure of what I expect and your concerned about it please just ask. As far as what I expect from you as my wife. Well, I don't expect you to be my perfect trophy wife with no ambitions or opinions. You are your own person, and that is the person I want to know, not the person Lucius pushed you to be. So, let me see the real Narcissa. I want you to do what you love, what brings you happiness. I have no idea how to be a good husband, but I'll do my best to take care of you and if I am not doing something that I should be I hope you will tell me," said Harry.
"I will," said Narcissa quietly.
"Good, now can I make love to my beautiful wife?" asked Harry. Narcissa nodded enthusiastically and pulled him down onto the bed.
A/N – I have the next several chapters loosely written up. It was not my original intention, but it is definitely morphing into a multiple pairing story. So far it is Harry/Narcissa/OC/Amelia (I know surprise, surprise), but I am leaning towards possibly adding Hermione into the mix later. Just letting you know in case that doesn't suit your fancy. Though I do hope you will give it a chance and continue reading!
