(A'sPOV)

Who knew planning a coupe would be this hard? I thought. From enlisting LBRs with the false promise of friendship and status elevation to planning secret slumber parties I was exhausted. Nawt to mention I was constantly being questioned by my co-Alpha, Olivia Ryan.

"I still don't understand why you would tell Massie, that Chris and Fawn broke up!" Snapped Olivia, as she laid sprawled out on my California King as I shifted through my closet for the perfect outfit."If they got together it would boast her popularity!" While I had kicked out the rest of my cohorts hours before hand, I had Olivia remain, so that I could divulge the rest of my plan to her. "Are you sure your ready to step out of Massie's shadow Licia?"

"Are you doubting me?" I gasped, pulling out option one to show Olivia.

"Do you want me to answer honestly?" She replied, shaking her head.

"What do you think?"

"Then yes." Sighed Olivia, turning to face me."Being that in the past you've hesitate when it came to taking Massie down for good."

"Point."

"Then you can understand where I'm coming from."

"Yup." I sighed. Overthrowing Massie was an easier said then done, with that being said Ive yet to accomplish said goal. Until now.

"Well?"

"Skye turned me down...okay?!" I sighed, taking a seat at my vanity. It was crazy I had beauty, brains and a high enuff status, but my past failures still followed me. "She didn't think I had what it took to bring Massie down, and to lead my own clique. Which is why I had a cogency plan in place..."

"Which is...what exactly?"

"Well, Skye has always had a crush on Chris."

"Duh" snapped Olivia, rolling her brown eyes as her attention was soon encapsulated by her phone.

"Well, did you know Skye set up Fawn?" I pointed out, pushing aside whatever doubt I had in myself. If I wanted to prove everyone wrong I need to frost prove it to myself.

"No fucking way..." gasped Olivia, placing her full attention towards me.

"Who do you think filmed it." I sassed, turning around to face her.

"I don't know if I'm impressed, or deeply disturbed."

"Maybe channel both?" I shrugged, trying act as nonchalant as possible."Anyways...I knew Skye would do literally anything to get Chris."

"Even help you destroy Massie?"

"Skye's been waiting years to get this chance. She's nawt going to allow herself to lose to Massie." I replied, as I watched the little clock in Olivia's head turn. "So I thought if I threw Massie into the ring they'd both distract each other and I could destroy both of them. Our reign will start sooner than expected."

"I'm sorry, I ever doubted you."

"Don't let it happen again." I replied. I need to prep Olivia, for the plan set ahead. I wasn't going to let months of planning go to waste by a single mistake. "Now I was able to convince Skye to give you a lift to Ryan's party."

"Why would I need a lift?"

"How else could we explain you being at Ryan's party?" I snapped, did I have to be the brains and beauty to this operation."We don't want Massie to know what we're up to."

"And she'll be less suspicious of me arriving to a party with the DSL's?"

"Yes." I sighed," I may have fibbed and told Massie, I overheard Skye say the DSL's were considering making you a member."

"When?"

"Over the summer." I replied, this plan relied on us playing the long con. "I had my suspicions that Skye might not be as corporative as I hoped." I had come to far to allow Skye's doubts in my leadership to fuck everything up. "This was plan B, being Massie was in Paris, Kristen was away for conditioning camp, and Dylan was on some resort filming the finale of the second season of the Marvilous Marvil's. Massie had no choice, but to believe me even if she was skeptical about the ending of our friendship."

"I'm impressed."

"Thank you." I smirked, noticing my phone buzzing in its charging dock."Just be ready at 7. If Skye doesn't want to miss the party of the year, she'll pick you up and I'll text her the address."

Dylan: be there in 30.

"Looks like you have to finish getting ready." Replied Olivia, glancing over my shoulder. "And I think I know just the outfit for you to wear."

(M's POV)

"Morning."I yawned, as I made my way down the back staircase. "Did the Abeley's go home?" Daddy sat at the island reading the paper on his IPad.

"No, they stayed over in the guest house." He replied, "It was pretty late, by the time Chris carried you back."

"Carried?" I blushed, taking a seat a across from him.

"Yeah." Daddy replied, clearing his throat."You all fell asleep, and Chris didn't want to wake you, so he just carried you home." I tried to think back to the night before. What was my last memory? The harder I thought back, the only I could remember was the sound of waves crashing against the rocks while Chris and I laid on beach chairs talking the night away.

"Is that a blush I see."

"No." I replied, a bit too quickly. Though Daddy didn't seem very convinced at all."Where's Jay?"

"He and Claire, went into town to get some supplies." Smirked Daddy, turning his attention back to his Ipad. "We're having a few friends later on...nothing too big." I nodded, as Inez brought over cup of coffee for me. "And Todd's playing video games in the Den."

"Okay." I replied, thanking Inez as she went back to the stove.

"Since Jay and I, will be having guest over I don't see any problem with you heading over to Dylan's a bit earlier." Daddy shrugged, "if you don't mind letting Claire and Lanye tagging along with you."

"Ehmagwad really?!" I shrieked, excitedly. Sure I had be stuck with two LBRs on my hip, but I was sure I could dump them off on some C.L.A.Ms for the night. "Thank you, Daddy!" I cried, throwing my arms around his neck nearly knocking us over. We were too busy laughing that we didn't hear the patio door open.

"Sorry...I didn't mean to interrupt." Whispered Chris, as he stood in the door.

"No, you're fine Chris." Replied Daddy, waving him in. "Take a seat, we're just waiting for Jay and Claire to get back."

"Oh...are you sure?"

"Definitely." I gushed, pulling Chris into the seat next to me.

"What she said." Laughed Daddy, just a a horn went off, "that must be them now." Inez went to head to the front door, but Daddy beckoned her to stay where she was.

"Do you need any help?" Asked Chris, trying to rise from his seat.

"No.." Reassured Daddy, waving him off as he went to go unload the car. "Don't be silly, you're our guest."

"So..."

"So...?" Whispered Chris, leaning towards me.

"I guess, I owe you a thank you."

"You guess?" He smirked, his blue eyes twinkling with mischief.

I rolled my eyes playfully before replying, "Thank you, Chris."

"For..?" I shook my head slapping him on his very buff arm. "Hey! Why do you have to be so abusive?!" He whined, rubbing his shoulder as he looked for a bruise.

"Yeah, right that didn't even hurt."

"It did!"

"Poor baby..." I giggled, pulling his face closer as I started running my fingers through his hair, stepping in between Chris' legs. We were so enamored with one another we had no idea we had an audience. Well, we didn't until Kuh-laire, coughed causing Chris to pull away from me.

"Stare much?" I snapped, causing Kuh-laire to drop her eyes.

"Here let me help you put those away." Replied Chris, to gently move me to the side and take one of the grocery bags from her arm.

"No, sit let me." I begged, trying to pull the bag from his arms.

"You...Massie Block, want to help put groceries away." Laughed Chris, as I walked to the counter making sure to sashay my hips to draw his attention.

"Yes, I do it all the time." I lied, turning to glance at him over my shoulders. Chris blushed noticing I had caught him staring at my ass.

"That goes in the pantry." Snapped Kuh-laire, as I pulled the items out of the bag.

"Of course I knew that."

"The pantry's through that door." I shot Kuh-laire a dirty look while Chris shook his head and laughed.

"Chris why don't you let your folks know breakfast will be ready soon." Replied Inez, taking the items out of my hand. "Why don't you two finish getting the bags out of the car."

(Lanye's POV)

"Lanye." Smiled Massie, as I scoped the scrambled eggs onto my plate."Kuh-laire...I wanted to invite you both to hang with me and the rest of the PC."

"That's uncharacteristically nice of you." Piped up Chris, as our parents nodded in agreement. Unfortunately, for Claire, and I we didn't get much of a say in the matter being that it was already decided we would be attending.

"Great so, it's settled." Clapped Massie, as she started talking a mile a minute about hair, and makeup. "After breakfast head up to my room, I'm sure I have something for you two to wear."

"And what's wrong with what I have on?" I snapped, grabbing a slice of toast from the toaster.

"Besides the fact you look like a sluttier version of Hot Topic that's in dire need of a shower." Smirked Massie, opting for a bowl of fruit before turning her attention to Claire. "I don't know if you got the memo, but the white trash look has been out dated look since Anna Nicole Smith was relevant." With that Massie was gone as she sashayed to Chris' side, leaving none the wiser. Even, our parents remained unaware of the true evil that resides in the blond bombshell.

"What she up to?" Whispered Claire, as we watched the blond kiss major parental ass all throughout breakfast."

"Who knows." I shrugged, irritably as I shoved a pork sausage into my mouth. "With Massie could be a number of things." We soon fell into silence as our parents did most of the chatting. Once, breakfast was over, I noticed Chris finally was alone without Massie and I decided to make my move.

"Hey what's up with you and the literally Queen of Mean herself?" I whispered, knowing full well her highness had the hearing of a hawk.

"Who Massie..?" He laughed, dumping his scraps.

"Unless you think I'm taking a dig at Claire..."

"She's not that bad."

"When it concerns you, however, to me Massie's a raging bitch." I hissed, Chris had always had this blind spot when it came to her.

"Give Massie a chance Lanye." Reasoned Chris, "She's changed...matured she's not the spoiled brat she use to be." I highly doubted that...but, I guess my opinion didn't matter. Massie always seemed to get what Massie wanted or, better yet who Massie wanted.

"Yeah, sure."

"Just give her a chance, who knows you might just get your best friend back." Chris replied, patting me on the shoulder.

I highly doubted that, I thought, begrudgingly as Claire and I followed Massie. I couldn't even remember the last time I had been invited to her room. I could see Massie had not changed much, however, instead of white lining and carpeting everything was a deep purple.

I was shocked though to find an old picture of Massie, and I out on the docks. Our heads leaning against the other with smiles wide as the eye can see. That was before Massie met her Pretty Committee friends and became an Alpha. What I would give to have my best friend back...

"You kept this?" I asked, picking up the picture frame.

"Yeah, I guess so..."whispered Massie, a small smile gracing her lips as she made her way over to me.

"Remember we thought we were like the girls from H2O?" I smiled, at the memory of Massie and I playing mermaids.

"I remember you swallowing lake water because you though you could talk to fish." She laughed, tears running down her face.

"I was sick for a week after that!" I snickered, just as Claire came from the bathroom in one of the first outfits Massie had leant her to try on.

"Am I interrupting something?" Asked Claire, staring at us curiously.

"No." We replied, a bit too quickly. Massie walked over to Claire stared her up and down for a few moments before replying for her to try on the next outfit. Once the door to the bathroom closed we let out a quick sigh before giggling.

"If you're done with the walk down memory lane go try this awn." Snapped Massie, playfully."You can change in the guest bath."

Who knows maybe Chris was right after all...
