Sparkle wheeled into school to be met with the only person she didn't want to be met with. Elmyra Duff. Sparkle gasped, trying to hold her trembling to a minimal, but it was hard, considering the worst human being on Earth was staring right in front of her. Looking at her with a smile of death. "Sparkle! "She sing-songed. Coming over and looking at her with pure evil intentions. She walked over even closer, seeing that sparkle wasn't responding. "Awwwe! You're not scared of me, are you?" She said, in a voice that she only used for her pets. Sparkle didn't move, her mouth a line.
Elmyra didn't like that Sparkle wasn't responding to her, so she proceeded to slap her, multiple times. Sparkle finally responded, by crying out in pain. The teachers were busy dealing with other children having meltdowns and tantrums so she couldn't exactly call for one of them. Thankfully, Leela heard the commotion and ran over. She pulled Elmyra away, glaring at her. "What the heck is wrong with you?! Elmyra, you don't hurt people like that! Say sorry right now! " Leela said firmly. Elmyra just smirked at her.
"Or what, ya gonna tell the principal on me? I wouldn't do that if I were you Leela!" She threatened. But luckily, the human girl wasn't scared. "Are you trying to threaten me? It ain't gonna work Elmyra. Nice try though." Leela guided sparkle away from the torturous girl and gave her a hug. Brain and pinky also came out and gave her a hug. "Thanks for standing up to her, Leela!" Sparkle spoke gratefully hugging her best friend. "No problem bestie! That's what BFFs are for! Elmyra's such a jerk! But don't worry, I'll stop her. " Leela says bravely, striking a brave pose. Brain chuckled. "You were very brave, Leela, thank you. "She giggled and ruffled Brain's fur.
In art class.
Sparkle, Leela, Billy, and Shay were all drawing beautiful flowers. Sparkle couldn't really draw a flower, so Leela helped.
"Thanks Leela! Thanks for helping me make the flowers! "Sparkle exclaimed. The human girl next to her giggled, guiding her hands to make the flower shape. Elmyra was busy, still thinking of a way to ruin Sparkle's art piece. She walked over, getting all the colours and shaking them, looking over at her target mischievously. She walked over, trying to act all innocent. While everyone was distracted she opened up the paint beginning to squirt them all over the flower. Sparkle turned around, tears in her eyes. "Elmyra! Why did you do that?! I worked hard on those flowers! " Elmyra didn't listen, instead proceeded to smack sparkle, causing blood to come out of her nose. Leela and Shay saw it and scowled.
"ELMYRA!" Leela shouted. "Why are you tormenting sparkle? She did nothing wrong! She worked really hard on those flowers! Now look at them, they're all ruined! I hope you're happy!" Elmyra just smirked. " oh whatever! "She sassed. Leela looked at her shaking her head. "That girl... "She said, sparkle and the rest of her friends nodded. "That girl indeed... "Sparkle smiled at her friends thanking them for helping her. With Leela's help, she managed to make some more flowers.
At lunch.
Sparkle, Leela and Shay sat together at a table. For lunch Sparkle had macaroni cheese
(her favourite food)
Brain smiled, sitting on the table with pinky. "You really love macaroni cheese, don't you? "Pinky joked. Sparkle nodded as Brain stirred it. Everyone else had sandwiches, pizza rolls, or rice, or various other dishes. Everyone smiled, happily eating their food. The cafeteria was decorated with beautiful butterflies, in a white and yellow theme. Brain had to admit, it was very welcoming. Leela broke off some cheese for pinky and Brain. "Thank you Leela!" Pinky chirped. "Likewise. "Brain responded.
Leela smiled widely giggling. "You're welcome! "She cheered. Sparkle turned to her best friend and looked at her. "What do we have to do for drama class after lunch, do you know?" Leela forehead her eyebrows any confusion. "I'm not sure. But I think we should be careful, especially with Elmyra around. Brain grimaced. "Please, don't remind me. "He said, putting his head in his paws.
In drama class.
In drama class sparkle and her friends were putting on a play. Leela was the lead role, she played the role of Princess Lavender. Princess Lavender was a warrior princess, she wanted to save her kingdom but nobody believed in her. Sparkle's character named sapphire, was also a princess warrior. Lavender and Sapphire were best friends, but their kingdoms were rivals. They were now doing the first dress rehearsal of the play.
"oh my dear friend! We must save our kingdoms and bring them together! There is no existence of friendship without us! We must bring our families together." Sparkle says, in her character of Sapphire. Leela walked over. "Oh my dear Sapphire, we must bring our families together, it pains me to see our families so far apart! We must bring them together! "She exclaims in her character of Lavender. Tress walks over angrily. She was the mother of Sapphire. "Oh Sapphire darling! I already told you, you cannot play with this girl! We are rivals remember? "Sparkle in character nodded. "Yes mother, I am aware of that. But we are friends! Friends are supposed to stick together always. "She says, doing an overdramatic pose. Rob walked on to the makeshift stage, wearing a golden crown and a kingly robe. "My dear queen Angelena! "Rob says, in a royal like voice, proceeding to kiss Tress on the hand, making her out of character self blush.
They were now at the part of the play where the kings and queens of both kingdoms were arguing. Rob and Tress were hand-in-hand on one side of the stage, and Jess and Lola were at the other side, Jess and Lola were playing the rival king and queen. "I demand everything be like this!" Jess boomed as the rival king. Rob stepped forward. "Well I demand everything be like this! "Rob boomed. Sparkle and Leela were in the middle of the makeshift stage, in characters. They were scared and didn't know what to do. Sparkle snapped her fingers with an idea, then the music started to play.
[Sparkle]

They sang together. Both rival king and queen looked at each other, walking forward. Rob was in front of Jess, and Tress was in front of Lola. " I guess we all have flaws then, don't we? "Rob says as King Leonardo. Jess as King Timothy nodded. "Yes, we do. I now see that my daughter Lavender is right. We must not let our kingdoms divide us, we must be friends. "Both kings and both Queens shook each other's hand, shaking on the agreement that they were going to be friends now. Sparkle and Leela both hugged each other in their characters. " we did it my friend! We have United our Kingdom once again! Huzzah! "Sapphire Cheers. "Huzzah! "Everybody cheers.
Then, Maurice stepped out. "That's a wrap guys!" He cheered. Clapping and proud of his classmates.
Rob and Jess walk over wrapping their arms around his shoulders. "You did awesome directing Maurice!" Rob says. "The charity play is going to be amazing! We'll raise so much money for throat cancer. My dad'll be super proud!" Rob says, frowning slightly. Jess hugged him sideways. " I know he'll be proud Rob… You're doing a great thing… "Jess said.
Tress was walking a little bit behind them, trying to hide the giant blush that was plastered on her face. She felt so bad for Rob… His dad was so iconic to all of their childhoods. He voiced many things that they grew up with, and now seeing him have throat cancer, made her feel really bad for her crush. She quickly caught up behind Rob Jess and Maurice, Maurice noticed her blushing and smirked. He guided Jess away from Rob, giving the girl time to walk next to Rob. Rob noticed her presence, interlocking his hands together which made the girl next to him blush madly. "Thanks for being there, Tress. I really appreciate you being here…" rob said, unable to hide the break in his voice. The girl next to him squeezed his hand tight. "I know Rob… But hopefully this charity play will raise enough money for your dad to get the cure, you did say it was curable, right? " rob nodded. "Yeah, thankfully. I don't know what I do without my dad… He's awesome! "He says, his voice is continuing to break as he tried to hide more sobs. Tress wrapped her arms around him, holding him close. "It's okay Rob… Maybe we can go see him after school, and you can tell him all about the play, maybe even the hospital staff will let us do a reconnecting of it! I think he'd really like that." She said, making robs smile slightly. "Yeah, I think he'd like that..."
Tress turned to her other friends who had heard most of the interaction between them. "Of course! "Jess said enthusiastically.
"I don't have band practice tonight so I'm free." Maurice nodded agreement. Sending a text to the rest of the cast which agreed. The girl Rob was walking beside turned to him with a big smile on her face. "It's settled then! Rob, we're going to do a production of the play for your dad and some of the other hospital patients if they want to join! " Rob was so overwhelmed with emotion that he ended up kissing Tress right then and there. Both boys behind them cheered. "FINALLY!" The boys behind them harmonised. "We've been betting on you doing that for months Rob! Finally! " Maurice teased. Rob turned around, mortifyingly red. "Yeah! Well weren't you gonna kiss that girl in chemistry class?" Rob teased back.
Maurice was the One blushing now. "Y-yeah well I don't know if she likes me!"
Rob scoffed. "Of course she does! I've seen her put hearts around your name! So that proves that she likes you. "Rob says smartly. "And besides, in a few weeks we have the school dance, you might as well ask the girl from chemistry class to go with you. Billie Wasn't it? "Maurice was now blushing mortifyingly red.
"Okaaaaaay that's enough of that! "Maurice said Rob and Jess continued to smirk.
"Boys, go fig." Tress says under her breath.
Tress quickly walks up to sparkle and Leela.
"Hey girls! Did you hear or see what Maurice put in the group chat?"
"Yeah Tress, we did. "Sparkle says. "I feel so bad for Rob… His dad doesn't deserve to go through that type of pain… But we'll definitely be there! Hey, the cast wanna come over after school? My mom and dad are working another late shift again. We can order pizza, get our costumes ready, Maybe even watch a movie before we head up to the Burbank hospital. I just want Rob to know that he has another place to go if he needs any support. Besides, he doesn't really have that much support, besides us, I mean. So yeah we'll definitely be there! Right Leela?"
Leela nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! We'll 100% be there!" She says cheerfully, hugging Tress.
Sparkle wheeled further away from them to talk to her friends. "Any locations on snowball, Brain?" She asked worriedly. Brain hopped onto her shoulder. "No not yet, but I won't stop looking, I promise. We will defeat snowball, somehow. "
Hey everyone! How did you enjoy the chapter? I had so much fun writing it! I loved all the scenes with Elmyra! She is a jerk! And she needs like to be medicated or something.. also, did you spot the main four from the Animaniacs cast in this chapter? Rob Paulsen, Jess Harnell, Maurice LaMarche and Tress MacNeille! Now before you look at me like what the hell are you doing? These cameos of the four cast members are supposed to be younger counterparts of them. So in this story the five beloved Animaniacs characters are real, and their voice actors are classmates of sparkle and Leela.
I know Rob had throat cancer, and thankfully survived. (Thank God he survived) but in the story his dad (which I'm not going to mention his name, i'll probably make up a name for him for keeping his parents out of the spotlight a bit) has the throat cancer instead. And the school play we are putting on, is to raise money for Rob's dad to get the treatment he needs to survive.
So now I'm going to tell you their ages in the story.
Maurice Is 13 (The oldest of the group)
Rob is 12 (same age as Leela)
Jess is also 12.
Tress is 11.(One year older then Dot in the reboot)
Also, yes, Rob and Tress Are going to be together later on in the story. I know they're married in real life already(to different people I might add) (but they have such an amazing dynamic I can't! They are so cute together I love them! They're supposed to be like 12 and 11-year-olds so it's not weird! At least I hope it's not to them (but what are the chances of them seeing this now? Like 0%!) So I'm not worried! Other Animaniacs cast members will be making appearances throughout as younger counterparts of themselves! Because the young main four are so fricking adorable! They are so cute! Ahhhhhh! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed!
