Riku and Sora wake up and head to the kitchen. There in the kitchen was Orihime, about to start cooking breakfast.
"What are you making this morning?" Sora asks, curiously.
"Eggs with rice vinegar, ginger, leeks, and strawberry jam." Orihime replies cheerfully.
"..."
"Is something wrong?" Orihime asks.
"It's probably nothing but do all of those ingredients belong together?" Riku asks.
"Of course. You need the rice vinegar to be bitter, the leeks to be savory, and the strawberry jam for the sweet. And the ginger balances it out." Orihime answers.
"Of course..." Riku replies hesitantly.
"And the eggs?" Sora asks.
"You need eggs for breakfast," is Orihime's cheerful response.
"How about I cook?" Riku offers.
"You want to?" Orihime asks, surprised.
"Of course."
"Sure! Here you go," and with that Orihime goes to get dressed.
"What do you want?" Riku asks.
"Food!" Is Orihime's response.
"Waffles!" Sora demands cheerfully.
"What kind of waffles?" Riku asks.
"Fruity!" Sora saids while jumping up and down.
"What fruit can we use?" Riku asks to Orihime.
"Whatever you want!" Orihime saids.
Riku grabs a banana and a strawberry and puts them on the board.
The waffle batter is made with 2 cups of flour added to 2 tablespoons of sugar, one tablespoon of baking powder, and one teaspoon of salt. This is mixed together until no clumps are seen. Next add 2 large eggs to 1 1/2 cups of milk with 2/3 cups of melted butter and one teaspoon of vanilla extract to a small bowl. Whisk this together and add to the bowl of dry ingredients. Then cook it. While the waffles were cooking, the bananas and strawberries were cut up. After the waffles are pulled, fruit is added to them and they are put on plates.
"That looks good." Sora saids while eagerly looking at the waffles.
"Don't eat them yet." Riku saids, seeing how Sora is looking at the waffles.
"Why not?"
"Because their not just for us."
"Awww,"
"Oh! These look good!" Orihime saids.
"Let's eat!" Sora saids.
Sora tries to grab all the waffles but Riku stops her.
"Wow! These waffles are good! Thank you, Reimai-san!" Orihime saids.
"No problem." Riku saids.
"What are we doing today?" Sora asks.
"We are going to school!" Orihime saids.
"We?" Riku asks.
"Kuchiki-san said she would take of it."
"Ok..." Riku said.
They finish eating and walk to school.
"Did both of you attend school before?" Orihime asks.
"Yeah, we did. But we left." Riku saids.
They enter the school and go to the classroom. Riku sees Ichigo there and sneaks up behind him.
"What are you doing here, Strawberry?" Riku asks.
"My name doesn't mean strawberry! It means one who protects!" Ichigo yells at Riku.
"Sure, keep telling yourself that."
"And who is this beautiful girl?" The class pervert asks.
"I'm a new student here along with my friend." Riku responds.
"Do you need someone to show you around?"
"No, I'm fine."
"Hello!" Sora saids as she bounces over.
"Two new beautiful girls?!"
Riku then smirks and walks over to Sora. Sora turns to face Riku with her head tilted. Riku puts a hand underneath Sora's chin and tilts her head up. Sora tilts her head up and they kiss.
"What?!" Everyone yells.
Riku and Sora pull apart and Sora flushes crimson.
"Ri..." Sora saids softly.
"Did something just happen?" Rukia asks having just arrived.
"The two transfers just kissed." Ichigo saids disbelieving.
"Why?"
"Pervert over there wouldn't stop looking at us." Riku saids while pointing at the pervert in question.
"And this lead to you kissing?" Rukia asks with the tone that saids she didn't believe that.
"Your lucky he didn't get knocked unconscious. I don't like when people look like that at my Sora."
"Your Sora?" Ichigo sputtered.
"My Sora." Riku confirms.
"Sit down class." The teacher said.
The standing people sit down and they start getting lectured. Sora fell asleep and Riku was imaging beating up the pervert with joy but nothing exciting was happening. Finally it was time for lunch.
"Follow us to the roof." Ichigo told Riku.
"Sure. Just let me wake up Sora first." Riku said. Riku turns back to Sora and starts tickling her.
"Ri...Riku, stop!" Sora whines.
"The strawberry invited us to the roof."
"The strawberry? Oh, Ichigo. Lunch time!" Sora grabs her lunch and runs down the hall, Riku following closely behind. They make it to the roof and sit down.
"What was that about?" Ichigo asks.
"What was what about?" Riku asks.
"You know. You and Sora kissing."
"I don't like perverts like that." Riku saids.
"That didn't mean you had to kiss her though." Uryuu adds.
"Maybe now he will leave us alone." Riku saids.
Nobody feels like making conversation after that and they finish their lunch in silence.
