The final adventure starts now! Let's join Mario and the others in their quest to save their friends!

Chapter 1: Tussling in Toronto, Vindication in Vancouver

As the seven left the Galleria Mall, Mario began to wonder where they could start. "So what now? We just go exploring every corner of this dimension and see if we can find our allies or what?" Juzo groans. "That may be the only choice, but before that, I need to give you these" Japan said and pulled out from his pocket a Smash ball and a Chrom orb.

"I know you are strong, but you will have to use these powers if you want to stand a chance against the ones who already have Smash powers" Japan said. The boxer tried to say something but Viper beat him to the punch, "Trust him, he's one of the wisest nations" the hunk said. Juzo frowns but takes a second to check out the man in front of him and reluctantly agrees.

Juzo absorbs the objects and feels power running through his body. Out of thin air, the Falchion sword appeared and now the swordsman performs a Soaring Slash, landing near Mario.

"Not bad, these powers look like fun" the boxer smirks.

"I'd say we start with Toronto's downtown, maybe we can find…" Taka is interrupted when they see someone in the parking lot approaching them. All of them but Juzo gaps at the sight, the one approaching them is none other than Makoto Naegi.

However, the heroes don't sigh or celebrate since Makoto has something that makes them instead be on guard: Glowing red eyes.

"This is just like the last time Galeem attacked" Mario grits his teeth. "What do you mean?" Heather asks, "We were captured and made his slaves, I was the first of the bunch to be rescued by Kirby. And I'm willing to bet we'll have to do the same with the ones who fell to Galeem." Mario explains. "Then to save them, we just have to kick their butts" Dixie Kong muses.

Juzo, for the first time in years, smiles. "Then stand back and allow me to be the first one to rescue one of our allies" he pulls out his sword and stands in front of Makoto, who conjures his Master Sword and Shield.

"Very well. But you must know, Makoto has Toon Link's powers. Be ready to give it your all, teammate!" Taka says.

FIGHT!

"I always wanted to do this!" Juzo smirks and runs to the luckster to punch him, only to be dodge by the latter and struck with a side smash attack. The boxer is thrown to one of the nearby cars of the parking lot. Juzo got up from the ground, angered.

"Forgot to tell you! Makoto also knows how to fight!" Taka sheepishly said. The boxer groans and charges at Makoto to punch him again, and gets grabbed, pummeled and thrown upwards for his troubles.

Juzo lands hard on the ground but quickly gets up. "How can he be this skilled?! He was always a wimp when it came to fighting!". "That's because of a year of constant training with his friends to defend this world" Japan says.

"Juzo, if you want to actually hit him, you need to use your Smash powers!" Trevor yells. Juzo just gets up and finally accepts he can't win with only his fists. The boxer blocks an incoming down aerial from Makoto with his shield and retaliates with a down smash attack.

The luckster is knocked down and Juzo seizes the chance to follow up with a Double-Edge Dance. He continues with an up smash attack which sends Makoto flying. The teen however doesn't give up and pulls out a bomb to throw it a Juzo.

To Makoto's bad luck, the boxer didn't flinch when he got hit with the attack since he performed a Soaring Slash. Juzo catches Makoto in his trajectory and lands him hard to the ground, defeating him.

GAME!

Makoto bounces on the ground and rolls towards a car and everyone rushes to his aid. As the luckster woke up, some thin and intangible multi-colored strings from above Makoto were shattered.

Mario sighs of relief as this means Galeem's grasp from one of his friends is destroyed. Makoto opens his eyes, "Where am I? Where is Galeem?" he dizzily asked. "Easy my friend, you've been through a lot" Kiyotaka comforts him.

"Juzo here had to defeat you in a duel to free you from Galeem's control" Japan says.

"Sorry to interrupt this little hopeful reunion, but Nikki and Jen are heading our way" Heather points out and the rest turn to see the aforementioned teens. Upon seeing Makoto, Jen immediately helped the defeated hero get up.

"Thank you" Makoto says, "We heard as if a fight broke out in the parking lot, I guess we were right" Nikki comments, "And that's not only why we came here, take a look at this!" Jen said and took out her phone. The eight stared at the device and saw what was happening.

Owen, Sweden and Hajime are wreaking havoc in Vancouver's Science World.

"And they're the only ones you have a record of?" Juzo asks, to which both girls nod

"Get ready, our next stop is Vancouver! Let's-a go!" Mario chirps. "I'll go with- ow" Makoto shrugs in pain". "Please stay, you received quite a beatdown" Trevor objected, to which Juzo prided himself for it. "We'll take him to the mall's nursery," Jen said and the girls left with the boy.

With that, the seven head to the Toronto Pearson International Airport.

4 hours later

As soon as they leave the airport, the seven rush to Vancouver's Science World. "Thank you for paying our flight tickets!" a truly grateful Mario says to Japan, Heather and Taka.

The queen bee sighs in frustration since she didn't want to spend money, but given that using one of the UN's teleporters would tip Galeem off and England is currently under its grasp, so they have to do this the old-fashioned way.

The seven see Owen running carelessly and about to release a powerful Owen Waft. Heather prevents a massive intoxication by grabbing Owen with her gun and throwing him backwards.

"Leave him to me, I always know how to control him when he gets a bit carried away" Heather confidently says.

The six agree and set off to find Sweden and Hajime.

FIGHT!

Heather quickly shoots at Owen with her Paralyzer but the boy parries her attack with a perfect shield and rushes to her with his Owen Bike. The queen bee jumps out of the way and retaliates with a down aerial, knocking Owen out of the bike.

The girl doesn't give any truce and continues by grabbing and pummeling Owen before throwing him to the ground. Heather keeps the pace with a Flip Jump to bury the boy into the ground.

She wastes no time and defeats him with a Boost Kick, sending Owen to the ceiling and falling to the ground afterwards.

GAME!

Just as with Makoto, the strings controlling Owen fade away and the boy regains consciousness. Heather tries to help him get up but the boy is just too heavy for her. "Heather? Are you dead too?" Owen asks.

The girl rolls her eyes and the boy finally gets up. "You were captured by Galeem, genius! But now you're free from that freak. Better thank me properly" Heather says. OWen smiles and crushes Heather with a hug, making her gasp for air. As soons as she broke free, she told Owen to follow her.

WIth the other six

Heather and Owen get in time to see people being frightened away by Sweden. "It's weird, he's not attacking anyone yet all are fleeing at the sight of him" Dixie Kong comments. "That's just how he looks at everyone normally, he's just that frightening although not as much as Russia" Trevor says.

"So, who will take on him?" Mario wonders, "I will" Japan steps up. "Be careful, please" Taka wishes him good luck.

Japan stands in front of Sweden and unsheathes his katana, the very same one with a diamond blade he got way back in the adventure of the Thousand-Year Door.

FIGHT!

Japan runs and tries to strike Sweden with the katana, but Sweden simply tanks the hit and pushes the nation away. The swordsman tightens his grip on the weapon and sheates it before trying a move he hasn't done in a while: Slide.

The attack did nothing to Sweden who simply swipes Japan by his legs and tosses him away. Japan gets up and tries to slash him from behind, but Sweden is just too tough for quick attacks and either tanks them or blocks them.

The shorter nation feels cornered, he heard how strong Sweden is from Denmark and Finland, but he never imagined he would be this strong. "If force won't work and maybe…" Japan looks at Sweden's head and gets an idea. He tries to hit Sweden in the head but is quickly blocked and thrown away.

"That's it!" Japan thinks, "Mario, I hope you don't mind that I use your technique!" he shouts to the plumber. Japan approaches Sweden yet again and the taller nation prepares to block whatever attack was coming his way. Too bad for him, since Japan feints him with a faux frontal attack and quickly sneaks behind him.

Japan struggles for a bit but manages to grab Sweden by the legs and imitating his friend Mario, he spins around and throws Sweden to a wall headfirst.

Sweden gets knocked out from the hit and slides to the ground.

GAME!

"I'm so proud of you!" Mario congratulates Japan as they help Sweden get up. "M' head…" Sweden groans, "Don't worry, you're free from Galeem now" Japan comforts him.

The taller nation nods and gives a soft smile.

"Now only Hajime remains" Mario says, "Don't be so cocky about him. we'll be dealing with Izuru Kamukura" Juzo quickly objects. "What are you talking about, himbo?" Heather snarks. "Hajime got into a shady experiment and got turned into Hope's Peak Academy trump card: The Ultimate Hope, Izuru Kamukura. A human who possesses all the talents the academy has scouted since its founding.

He may be Hajime, but still has the talents of Izuru. Whoever challenges him, better be careful!" Juzo explained.

"Wait, isn't Makoto the Ultimate Hope?" Mario asks, making Juzo glare at him.

The eight look at each other with a bit of worry, they've already known that Junko Enoshima gives them a lot of headaches with being the Ultimate Despair, they don't want to imagine how they'd handle the Ultimate Hope.

And to make things worse, the pocket that was given to Japan suddenly reacts to something and opens, letting out a Smash orb. Said orb was of Young Link and it travels to the mind-controlled Hajime. The man receives a power boost and shoots a Fire Arrow at the heroes. "Great! How are we gonna deal with their world's best now that he has Young Link's powers?!" Heather snarls.

Taka suddenly clenches his fists and yells "I'll show him the power of hard work!" before rushing to where Izuru is, followed by the others.

As soon as Taka sees the man, he yells his name and challenges him. Hajime just glances at the Ultimate Moral Compass and sighs. The Ultimate Hope stands in front of Ishimaru, ready to curb-stomp him.

FIGHT!

Taka charges a Straight Lunge towards Hajime and is about to unleash it when the other man grabs him with his Clawshot and pummels Taka repeatedly before down-throwing him. Ishimaru bounces around the exhibit area they're fighting and crashes against a pillar. He gets up and runs to perform a Jolt Haymaker on Hajime.

"Dull" It's the only thing Hajime says before jumping out of the way and hitting Taka with a down aerial. Kiyotaka yelps in pain as he rolls to the ground.

What followed was nothing short of brutal beatdown with Hajime slowly reverting to IZuru as he laid down a beatdown upon Kiyotaka with Young Link's powers and all the Ultimate talents he had at his disposal.

"TAKA!" Heather surprises the other by trying to step into the fight, however… "Please stand back!" Ishimaru cries as he struggles to get up. "I always said how much I hated geniuses and this guy standing right here is the peak embodiment of them. But I also understand he's not being himself right now thanks to the vile villain who has brought this suffering upon us and our beloved friends!

That's why I want to help him, and if that means defeating him one-on-one, then so be it!" Taka roars through the room, surprising everyone around.

"Passionate, but still dull" Izuru says and rushes to beat up Taka once more but it's caught off guard for the first time as the other man used a perfect shield, which slows down Izuru for a split second.

Kiyotaka seizes the chance to finally let out his trump card: a K.O. Punch. Izuru is hit and rockets to the ceiling and when he is about to land on the ground, Taka defeats the Ultimate Hope with a Straight Lunge.

Izuru lands hard on the floor and rolls before finally stopping before the other six.

GAME!

Mario and Trevor quickly hold him just as the strings above Hajime fade away. "Ugh" is the only thing Hajime groans before he opens his eyes. He observes the seven heroes plus Owen and Sweden staring at him with worry.

"Are you okay? You took quite the beatdown" Juzo tells him. "Where are we?" Hajime asks. "Where in Vancouver, Canada. We found you here after being vaporized by Galeem" Japan answers. "Galeem… vaporized… Chiaki! Where's she?!" Hajime panics and the others tighten their grip on him.

"Easy there, mate. You alongside Makoto, Owen and Sweden were the first we know of the whereabouts" Dixie explains. "I was the one who saved you from Galeem, but I apologize for the pain I brought to you" Taka comments.

The reserve course student simply smiles and the other finally let him go. "Now that you three are free, we have four of our allies rescued" Japan says. "Then let's get going and find where are our next allies to save!" Dixie chirps.

"How are we gonna do that? We know nothing about the rest and only knew these three were here thanks to Nikki and Jen." Heather coldly says. As if on cue, her phone received a message from Nikki. In it was a news article of three individuals: Yoshi, Finland and Cameron wreaking havoc on Calgary's Zoo.

"You're lucky," Heather glares to her teammate. "We'll help!" Hajime says before wincing in pain. "I'm afraid not, you took quite the beatdown and it would be safer if you head to our headquarters'' Trevor objects. "'And where are th'se?" Sweden questions. "At the Galleria Mall in Toronto." Mario says. "Awesome!" Owen exclaimed.

"Here, take this money to buy some tickets and fly there" Japan says and gives them a wad of cash.

"Makoto is already there and we have six teens helping us." Taka adds before the ten make their way to the airport in Vancouver.

With their first allies rescued, the seven part ways with their allies and head to Calgary. With their allies in mind, the heroes head on to the next city and continue their quest
