Three days later Nate walked into STAR LABS and found a man in a fancy suit standing next to Harrison. Nate walked up to them "Dr. Wells what's going on here?"

The man in the suit stuck his hand out "Hello Nathan Allen my name is Leon Stain and I'm here to handle the deal between you and Dr. Wells about signing STAR LABS over to you and then about you changing its name to Horizon Industries."

Nate nods and shows the man to a room where they can talk in private. Three hours later the three of them walk out and Nate shakes Mr. Stains hand once more "It was a pleasure to work with you for all of this Mr. Stain and I'll be contacting you for any farther advice that I require about this business."

Leon nods and smiles "I'll be waiting for that call Mr. Allen so that means that I will be dealing with you in the future and that is something to look forward to for me. Have a wonderful day."

With that Leon left while Nate and Harrison entered the cortex and saw that Barry and Joe were already there. Nate looked at Barry "I thought that you had to be at work today to catch up on more of your old cases Barr?"

Barry shook his head "We have a problem that we can't figure out on our own and now we need some help with this so we came here. I have a DNA sample that we need you guys to test it. We found stem cells that are only present in babies."

Nate got a thoughtful look on his face "Did this man work for Stag Industries in the last year?"

Joe shrugs "We don't know who this guy is. Why do you ask?"

Nate sighed "Well I knew that there was someone inside Stag Industries that was working on re-growing organs but I never got a name so that might not be the right person anyways I just thought that we might have had a lead there but it would seem that I was wrong."

Barry sighed "Well that would have been too easy for us I guess. So what do we do now?"

Nate grunted "You said that the DNA you had showed signs of stem cells found in new born babies' right?"

Barry nods "Why does that matter?"

Nate scratched the back of his head "Well it could mean that if we get his blood we could find a way to re-grow another him and see who the hell this guy is but only with his blood."

Barry sighed "We don't have any of that."

Nate was going to say something when his phone rang and he answered when he saw that Iris was calling "Hey Iris what's up?"

Iris smiled on the other end "I'm calling to ask if you'll help me with a journaling issue tonight since I have two tickets to an award ceremony for Simon Stag tonight so what do you say? Interested in helping me out?"

Nate smiled and looked at Barry before sighing "I'm not sure Iris, did you ask Barry first?"

Iris sighed "Nate, you and I both know that I don't feel that way about Barry. I don't want him thinking that I'm interested in him as more than a friend. How should I ask him?"

Nate sighed "I know Iris and yeah I'll help you so when do you want me to pick you up?"

Iris smiled "Thank you Nate and one hour at my dad's house, dress to impress."

Nate chuckled "Sure Iris and I'll bring my car not my bike."

Iris hung up and Nate sighed as he put his phone in his pocket. Nate looked up only to see Barry looking at him. Nate raised an eyebrow "What's wrong Barry?"

Barry shrugged "I don't know but you asked Iris if she asked me something first."

Nate nods "Yeah I asked her if she asked you to help her with something about an award for Simon Stag tonight. She said it was a journaling issue so I'm thinking that she needs me to help explain the science behind it to her."

Barry sighed "She didn't ask me. Nate, how do you move on from someone that doesn't feel the same way about you that you feel about them?"

Nate closed his eyes "The best advice I can give you Barr is to wait a while and then when you think you're ready go out and find a girl to take on some dates."

Barry smiled "Thanks Nate, I'll try that."

Nate watched Barry walk away and got up so that he could speed home and get ready for this award ceremony he's going to with Iris. Thirty minutes later he's outside Joe's house. He had just parked his car and was about to knock on the door when it opened to reveal Iris in a gorgeous black backless dress. Nate smiles "Well you look gorgeous tonight."

Iris smiled and blushed when she saw what Nate looked like in a tuxedo. The tux was a black with a white undershirt and a light blue tie that did nothing to hide his muscles yet it also looked incredibly comfortable on him. Nate held out his arm for her to take and Iris put her hand in the crook of his elbow as they walked to Nate's car.

Nate opened the door and let her get in before gently closing the door and getting in. Iris started to find something for them to listen to while he drove off. Forty-five minutes later they got there and Nate lead her towards the front of the crowed so that they could get better spots for everything that Simon Stagg were going to say. Ten minutes later Simon came out and made some speech that Nate ignored because he didn't want to listen to the dick known as Simon Stagg.

Iris pulled him into the crowed when Simon stopped talking. She saw how board he looked during the speech. She made sure that they weren't somewhere that they could be bothered by anyone else, before looking at him "Why do you seem so board while Mr. Stagg was giving his speech?"

Nate sighed "I can't listen to him because I know that he's a dick and there is no way that I will listen to the shit that comes out of his mouth since there is no way that I will start now when I know the man that was doing the research of that Stagg is getting the award for tonight and I also know why the man was doing that."

Simon Stagg and his security walked by and Iris looked at Simon "Mr. Stagg, Mr. Stagg may a please have a statement for my article in the paper?"

Simon didn't even look at him "No, comment."

He walked away and she shrugged "I'll just make something up."

Nate chuckled "Well I can help with that since that I know how he thinks so that should help with things for you."

She smiled at him and was about to say something when they all heard a gunshot go off. Nate made sure that Iris was tucked into him while he was looking around. He saw multiple people in black clothing with black ski masks that were showing their eyes. The one in front looked around "How nice of you all to bring your best jewelry like you knew we were coming to rob you. Now put everything in the bag as it comes around."

Nate took the bracelet off of Iris's wrist and put in his back pocket where it wouldn't be seen. One of the gun men was walking towards them when everyone heard "F-Freeze!"

The six gunmen turned to the security guard and pointed their guns at him. Nate used his super speed to get him out of the way before taking off after the gunmen when he saw them getting away only to fall down due to passing out. Twenty minutes later Iris walked up with Joe and Eddie. She saw Nate and ran to him "Nate, are you alright?"

Nate smiled "Yeah but I'm not going be trying that again for a few days yet. Joe I was only out here to get the license plate number before I fainted."

Joe, Nate, and Iris heard the guard talking to a police officer "I'm telling you that one minute I was looking at six guns pointing at me than I was whooshed out of that room."

Eddie walked off to talk to other witnesses so Joe looked at Nate and opened his mouth to say something before Nate cut "I know what you're going to say and I wasn't going to chase after them. I really was going to get the license plate before calling you. I don't know how fast I am nor do I know how to use that in a fight."

Joe sighed in relief before nodding. "That's good to hear because we don't know if you're bullet proof or not."

Nate chuckled "I know that I'm not bullet proof because all I got was super speed, nothing else."

Iris looked at Nate with wide eyes "How the hell do you know that?"

Nate sighed "I know because I already tested it, the only thing different about me is that my cells have speed force in them now."

Joe raised an eyebrow "What the hell is speed force?"

Nate shrugged "It's the only thing that I can think of to call the speed that Barry and I now have."

Iris and Joe nod before Joe sighed "Sorry for getting mad at you Nate, I just don't want you going out and doing something without knowing what your limits are."

Nate smiled "It's alright pops I just need some time to get use to my new speed and to learn how I'm going to be able to use it in a fight. I also just need some time to figure out what I can do with this besides my speed."

Joe smiled and put a hand on Nate's shoulder "That's alright, actually that's good because I can allow you to go out and do something stupid."

Nate chuckled "Not my style, plus we have that problem with Barry. I don't have the library to act the way Barry does because I need to get things done."

Nate got up and looked at Iris "Well it's time to get out of here so that I can see if Cisco has something that can help with this dizziness so that this doesn't happen again."

Iris smiled before looking around "Whose car are we taking?"

Nate smirked "It would be good to take mine since your dad is still needed here but you'll be driving if you're up for it Iris because it's not a good idea for me to drive since I don't know how this dizzy spell might affect my driving."

Iris nods before taking Nate's keys while they walked towards his car. Almost an hour later they walk into the cortex. Nate looked around but didn't see Cisco so he looked at Caitlin. "Hey Cait, where's Cisco?"

Before she could answer him Cisco walked in. "I'm here Nate, what do you need?"

Nate cracked his neck "I fainted about an hour ago so I need to know if you have something that will help me and Barry with this?"

Barry came running in before Cisco could say anything. Barry suddenly just fall and slide into a wall on the other side of the room. Nate ran up to him and got him into a bed in the infirmary to rest. Cisco walked up with what looked like a king size candy bar. "I made these for the two of you so that you can get enough to eat while you're too busy to sit down and have a good meal with your family."

Nate put a hand on Cisco's shoulder "Our family bro, our family and thank you."

Cisco smiled and nods "Right, our family bro, won't be forgetting that again."

Nate smirked "Well that's good because I don't want you to forget that since you're just as much my brother and Joe is my second dad. The two of you aren't blood but there's something that you need to know. Family ain't always blood; the bonds however are what make a family."

Joe and Cisco smiled at Nate while the girls stood back and nodded with smiles on their faces. Nate turned back to Barry when they heard him groan. Barry sat up with a hand on his head and his eyes closed. "Please tell me that someone got the number of the bus that hit me?"

Nate chuckled "You weren't hit by a bus little brother, you fainted because our metabolisms are moving much faster because of our speed. Cisco came up with some energy bars that will help us with that but there are still risks that come with this life and I don't think that you realize that yet, so just be careful until you understand alright?"

Barry nods and slowly lays back down "My head still hurts, can I take a nap?"

Nate smiled "Yeah get some sleep Barr because you're going to need it for later since we're going to train with our speed so that we can get use to using it in a fight while also getting use to our reaction times while using our speed. That's all you'll be working on until I can find out if we can do something else with our power."

Barry nods and falls asleep. Nate got up and motioned for everyone to follow him to the cortex so that Barry could sleep in peace. When everyone was there and seated Nate sighed "Well I know who the new Meta is and I have meant him before but I didn't know that he worked for Simon Stagg. Our new Meta is Danton Black."

Caitlin looked at Nate "How do you know that?"

Nate closed his eyes and leaned forward so that his forearms were resting on his knees. "I meant him at the hospital while I was doing some volunteer work there. His wife was on the list for a heart transplant, I heard that she died during the nine months after the particle accelerator exploded."

Iris and Caitlin covered their mouths while Joe, Barry, and Cisco looked down. Joe looked back at Nate "What do you think happened to him?"

Nate sighed and opened his eyes that were looking at the ground "My best guess is that he was experimenting on himself the night the accelerator exploded and now he can make clones of himself, and no Cisco you can't call him Captain Clone."

Cisco sighed "Then what do I call him? Maybe we could call him Multiplex?"

Nate smiled "I like that so yeah his name is now Multiplex."

Cisco nods and smiles "Alright I'll put him in the database with his name being Multiplex."

Nate nods and gets up, I'm going to train with my speed, have Barry come join me at the Cosmic Treadmill so that we can work on that, when I'm done I'll work on the speed lab some more so that we can get some training done in there soon."

Everyone nods and Nate walks out. Iris looked at Caitlin "We need to talk because I've found some things on the Burning Man, I even have a picture of him and from a picture that Nate showed me he looks just like Ronnie. I wanted to show you about this before we brought it up to Nate just in case I'm wrong about this."

Caitlin nods and they walk into her office so that they could talk in privacy. Three minutes later they were walking towards the room where Nate would be. Iris opened the door and they both of them blushed because Nate was doing stretches shirtless. Iris cleared her throat which caused Nate to turn towards them, when he saw them he smiled "What can I do for the two of you?"

Caitlin shook her head and looked Nate in the eye "Nate, Iris has a picture of the Burning Man and its Ronnie."

Nate's smile faded "Well we know how to find him then, now we just have to find a way to bring him home and too separate both him and Professor Stein so that we can help them both."

Caitlin smiled "Thank you for still being willing to help me with this Nate, I know that it's not easy for you because of everything else you have on your plate lately."

Nate shook his head "Don't worry about it Cait, I'm always here to help the people I care about so that they can be happy. When my loved ones are happy, I'm happy so I'll gladly help where I can. Now let's go find Cisco and Harrison so that I can have them help me build a Quantum Splicer that should work on Ronnie and Professor Stein so that I can find a way to test it and make sure that it works before we use it on Ronnie and Professor Stein."

Caitlin smiled and had tears sliding down her cheeks while Nate stood up and pulling her into a hug. Caitlin clung onto him with everything she had. Nate could feel her tears on his chest but he didn't care, she needed a friend right now and he wasn't about to fail with that simply because he didn't have a shirt on."Cait I promise you that I'll bring him home and there is no way that I would allow anything to get in my way. If it can be done then I will make sure that he comes home to you."

Caitlin just nods because she doesn't trust her voice at the moment. Nate gently kissed the top of her head while rubbing her back to help calm her down. A few minutes later she pulled away and started to wipe the tears out of her eyes and off of her face. Nate got the ones she missed and he also made sure that he wiped off the make-up that was ruined off of her face. Caitlin smiled at him for helping her with that before she blushed as she realized that she had just been in Nate's arms with him being half naked from the waist up."Nate I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to cry into your chest while you were shirtless. I'm sorry that I made a mess on you with my make-up."

Nate smiled "It's nothing to worry about Cait. As for the mess with your make-up, that's an easy fix just watch."

Nate picked up his towel and wiped the make-up off his chest with it before showing Caitlin that he got it all off before he put his shirt back on and walking out of the room while motioning for them to follow him. Five minutes later they found Cisco and Dr. Wells in the cortex. Nate walked up to them "Iris has found some information on Ronnie and now I need you two to help me with building a Quantum Splicer that we can somehow test to make sure that it will work on Ronnie so that we can bring both him and Professor Stein home to their loved ones."

They nodded and all three of them started to work on a Quantum Splicer while Nate was also making an algorithm to track Ronnie's nuclear signature. Three minutes later Nate had the algorithm made and uploaded into the computer system before looking at the time. His eyes widened "Shit, I'm sorry about this but I have to go because I'm going to be late for a meeting that will see this building being put back into working order."

Nate took off before anyone could say anything. Four hours later Nate came back and sat down with a sigh of relief. "Well, we'll have this place opened back up in three weeks as long as it's up to building code so that means that in three weeks you'll all have a job again."
