Going across the lawn they found the spare house slightly apart from the rest of the compound. Baccara's first thought was that it was similar to the Barracks with bunk beds pushed up against the walls in the rooms on either side of the hallway. There was two bathrooms in the middle of it and a communal shower at the back of the house. The second and third floors were the same.
Ka-lor Mundi was spoke as they looked around, "It isn't much. We would have straightened up but Father didn't warn us you were coming." There was a cold note in the way he said the word 'Father', and it came out sounding distasteful.
Baccara nodded, "The General did not tell us where we were going until we landed in your field." Then looking towards the ships he saw they were gone.
Seeing him tense Ka-lor spoke, "We moved them into the barn. It wouldn't be wise to leave them there for everyone to see, especially with the Separatists trying to get a base here." Stepping up next to the Clone Commander, "They are watching us more closely than anyone else because of Father. It might get worse now that you have come," looking at Baccara's face, "I do not mean that as a threat. But you should be prepared for what they will do if they find you here, just as I know what they will do to us if they find out we helped you."
Despite himself Baccara was curious, "Then why have you?"
"None of us asked for this." Waving around that the troops, "The Clone troopers didn't ask to get made for war," then motioning to the house, "my sisters and I didn't ask to get born to a Jedi Father who has no time to bother with us." Sighing as he looked out to the fields, "So the least we can do is stick together."
This was a view that Baccara had never heard before, and made it seem like the kid believed clones were human. But that didn't make sense, no one bothered with them much. Deciding to stay on the look out for Ka-lor's true colors Baccara nodded.
