Chapter 4: Fulfilling Sunset's Wishes Part 1
Soon enough, Sun along with her friends along with Sunset Shimmer, and the other group of Precure friends, have already finished their lunch and are now walking in the castle hall.
"So Sunset, what do you wanna do?" Sun asks.
"I'm not sure. I haven't been able to do that many because I've been sick, other than the hobbies I have," Sunset says.
"But I'm sure there's something we can do to help," Haruka says.
Rarity gasps and sings, "Idea."
Then says, "How about we help Sunset?"
"Help Sunset, how do we do that?" Rainbow asks.
"It's simple, Sunset can tell us all the things she wishes she could do, and maybe we can find a way to make it happen," Rarity says.
"That's a great idea. And it can also help Sunset to get more used to being around us, and it can help her prepare when we return to our world," Sun says.
"That sounds promising," Kanata says.
Nodoka turns to Sunset, "So Sunset, what's one of the things you like to do."
"Well, it's kind of hard to think because there are so many I wanna do," Sunset says.
"What do you wanna do first?" Fluttershy asks.
Sunset thinks and says, "A Fashion Show. I've always wanted to go see a real live fashion show. I've seen some on TV, but I like to see one in real life. And well, I did sometimes like to model some of the clothes."
"Ooh, I like the idea. We can have our own fashion show in the castle," Rarity says.
Kirara, "And I don't mind modeling for you Rarity."
"Where we're from. Kirara is actually a model, but also attends Noble Academy," Minami says.
"You're a model. That is amazing. I will be happy for you to model. But…" Rarity says.
Then sadly sighs, "But I don't have any materials with me."
Mágico steps in and says, "Do not worry, I know where you can get all the materials you need."
The group becomes confused.
A little time later, Mágico leaders the group to a large double door. He then uses his magic at the door and then opens them up. Everyone looks inside and are astonished to see the room is full of different fabric, threads along with drawers full of scissors, needles, fabric tracing pens, fabric paint, and other kinds of materials. There are even some mannequins and tables.
"Oh my goodness! There are many different fabrics and accessories. So many designs to gain some inspiration. Where is my sketchbook when I need it," Rarity says, amazed.
"I think this place is more than perfect for us to work on the clothes," Adagio says.
"Indeed," Rarity says.
Then turns to her friends, "And I'm going to need Kirara, Sunset, Fluttershy, Sun, will be four of the models. I'm going to need a few more Models."
"So who else wants to model?" Sun asks.
Rarity looks and asks, "Yuni, would you like to model?"
"I suppose. I'll even model as Mao," Yuni says.
"Mao?" Fluttershy asks.
Prunce says, "Mao, is a famous Idol in our world. I'm a big fan of her music."
"Sounds cool," Aria says.
"I would like to hear some of your music," Adagio says.
"We're actually in a band ourselves, which is cool," Rainbow says.
"Emiru and Ruru also play music too," Hana says.
"Sounds like it's perfect for one of the other things I like to do. I also really like to see a concert," Sunset says.
"And that gives me an idea," Sun says.
Then turns to Sunset, "If you and the boys are okay with it, how about we put on a concert for the ball tomorrow."
Mágico, "I don't see why not."
"I think it's a wonderful idea," sunset says.
"And maybe I can also make us dressed and suits for tomorrow's ball," Rarity says.
"That sounds like a great idea," Saaya says.
"I must agree, It sounds like it can be fun," Asumi says.
Latte barks happily.
Pafu asks, "Can we dress nice too?"
"Of course darling, especially for a cute little puppy like yourself," Rarity happily says.
Pafu giggles with a smile on her face
Then turns to Adagio, "Adagio, I'm going to need some help with the clothes and designs."
"Sure Rarity," Adagio says.
"Indeed, luckily, I know my friends measurements, but Sunset, Yuni, Kirara, I'm going to need to get your measurements," Rarity says.
"Sure," Kirara says.
Rarity brings out her working glasses along with the measuring tape on the table, and a pad and pencil. Soon, Rarity begins to take the measurements of the three girls and get some of the feeling flowing. In fact, since Rarity has volunteered to make dresses and suits and accessories for everyone, with help from Sun, Adagio, and Twilight, they are able to get everyone's measurements, even the babies.
"There, now that I've taken everyone's measurements, it's time to start making you all special dresses for each of you," Rarity says.
"Sounds like you got your work cut out for you," Sun says.
"Maybe so, but it will be worth it. Until then, how about you all have some fun while Adagio and I start working on the outfits," Rarity says.
Sun turns to Sunset, "So, is there anything you like to do?"
"Well, I've always watched my mom do cooking in the kitchen, but I've never been able to cook," Sunset says.
Then Applejack says, "That is something we can do right now."
"Will we be able to make sweets?" Haruka asks.
"Why not," Applejack says.
"We can make some Japanese pudding. It will have whipped cream, ice cream, different kinds of fruit, and even other kinds of sweets and goodies," Haruka says, excited.
Pinkie hugs Haruka, "Haruka, you're speaking my language."
"I'm guessing Haruka likes to eat different sweets and goodies as well," Pinkie says.
"That's right. Her family actually owns a sweet shop," Minami says.
"A sweet shop. That is so amazing," Pinkie happily says.
Haruka giggles and says, "Thank you."
Soon enough, some of the group, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Sonata, Sun, Nina, Regana, Sunset, Hinata, Chiyu, Pegitan, Lala, Prunce, Haruka, and Pafu are in the kitchen wearing aprons and having their hair set to keep them out of their faces and the food.
"Okay, what y'all wanna make? Applejack asks.
"How about the Japanese Pudding Haruka talked about?" Sun suggests.
"I agree. I like to try it," Sunset says.
"Okay. We're going to need some eggs, milk, sugar, water along with different fruits, cream and…" Haruka says.
Sometime later, the group of friends is able to gather everything they need.
"There is so much stuff, I can't wait to make the pudding and then eat them," Pinkie happily says.
"So Prunce, what are you doing?" Sun asks.
"Lala and I are going to make my special donuts," Prunce says.
"Special Donuts?" Hinata says, confused.
"Yes. The donuts taste really good," Lala says.
"They're really that good, I like to try it myself," Applejack says.
Chiyu says, "I think it's time for us to start cooking."
"Then let's get started," Sun says.
With that, Sun and the others begin to work on the Japanese pudding. Haruka and Applejack start on the caramel sauce as Sun, Sunset, and the others work on the pudding mixture. Sunset and Sun pour some of the milk in the measuring cup, but Sunset accidentally put too much. Some spill on the floor, and she quickly stops. Both girls begin giggling. Lala, Hinata, Chiyu, and the others make the whipped cream, cut some fruits like apples, bananas, and berries, and also wash them as well.
Once they're done with the mixture, Applejack and Haruka put the caramel sauce in the molding pans. Then Sun and the others put the finished mixture inside the molds as well. They put the molds in different pans filled with a little water and a towel inside, and wait. Then they continue to work on making other kinds of desserts, sweets and goodies for the Japanese pudding.
Of course, Pinkie and Sonata begin to eat some of the snacks.
"What are you doing?! Lo!" Lala exclaims.
"What, we're hungry, and we're going to eat them anyway," Pinkie says.
"Yeah. The sweets and goodies are so good," Sonata says.
The group then begins to laugh with smiles on their faces. Mágico continues to watch over Sunset and the others as they work on the deserts.
Sometime later, the Japanese Puddings are done. Haruka and the others flip the mold over and the flan comes out of the mold and onto the plate. Then comes the fun part, is to decorate them with the sweets, fruits, and whipped cream. Soon, all the puddings have been democrats.
"Oh, those puddings look so good," Sun says.
"Yeah. They look delicious," Sunset says.
"Well then, let's go deliver the pudding to our friends and we can all eat them," Pinkie happily says.
Prunce then brings out a plate of his donuts, "And my donuts are ready."
"Then let's go!" Pinkie cheers.
Then they head to the dining room with the Japanese pudding. Twilight and the others arrive to see the puddings with the different sweets and goodies on it. Some even have fruits and whipped cream.
"Alright y'all, it's time to eat," Applejack says.
Everyone then gathers the Japanese pudding and begins to eat the dessert, and they love it.
"Hmm, the pudding is really good," Twilight says.
"Yeah. There's even some donuts with the pudding," Rainbow says and eats the donut.
"And some fruits," Fluttershy says, and eats the kiwi from her dessert.
"The Japanese pudding tastes good, and with the caramel sauce and whipped cream," Sun happily says.
Regana reaches up and says, "Hungy hungy."
"Okay Regana, you can have a bite," Sun says.
Sun scoops a little bit of the pudding on her spoon and presents it to Regana. Regana takes a soft bite and begins to eat the pudding. Hana then decides to do the same. Hugtan eats her pudding and giggles with a smile on her face. Regana feels the same.
Sunset turns to the girls, "I had a lot of fun making the pudding, even if it did get messy."
"Don't worry, baking and cooking gets messy all the time," Pinkie says.
"But it's important to make sure you clean up the mess made in the kitchen and get yourself cleaned up as well," Applejack says.
Sunset turns to Mágico, "What do you think of the pudding, Mágico?"
Mágico takes a bite of his pudding and swallows it.
He then answers, "It tastes divine and sweet."
"We're glad that you like it," Sun says.
"So Sunset, is there anything you like to do next?" Rainbow asks.
"I like to go outside and explore the outside of the castle," Sunset says.
Sunset then asks, "Hey Sunset, I like to ask you something."
"What is it?" Sunset asks.
"How did you meet Mágico and Komonosu?" Sun asks.
Sunset and Mágico look at each other.
"I see. Well, um, it's kind of a hard story to explain. Then again, you guys were involved with magic and have talking animals, so I'm guessing it's alright if you know," Sunset says.
Mágico then says, "You see, I wasn't always the being you've seen me now. Back then, I was once a doll."
"You were a doll?" Horame says.
"That's correct," Mágico says.
Mágico then explains, "A long time ago, when Sunset was a little girl, I was given to her by her older brother, Scarlet Clef. Sunset was very happy to have me."
"Yeah. I practically kept Mágico close to me all the time, even when I was in the hospital. One day, when I was at the hospital, a strange teal color wisp of magic came into my hospital room and hit Mágico. To my surprise, I saw that Mágico became human and came to life. Since then, Mágico and I have been together. He kept me company when my family wasn't able to come visit and when I got lonely. He also flies around the city and his magic mirror can show me the outside world," Sunset says.
"And I'm guessing you saw me and my friends when Mágico explored the city," Sun suspects.
"Yeah. In fact, you've been well actually very famous. I've even seen what happened in Equestria Land," Sunset says.
"I can imagine," Rainbow says.
"What happened in Equestria Land?" Hana asks.
"Rarity was offered a job to be a head designer for the parade. Unknown to us, Vignette, a girl we know from the park, had her cellphone enchanted by Equestria Magic," Sun says.
"And let's not forget that she zapped me and my friends into her cellphone, which was actually an empty room in the park. She then used it to try to change the image she wanted so it will be the 'Be Yourself But Better' Policy," Aria says, annoyed.
"You're still mad that Vignette had your hologram wearing a pink dress," Sonata says.
Aria growls in frustration.
"It kind of got out of control. Meanwhile, I kind of got carried away with getting the parade set up. And kind of fell for Vignette's flattering who really wanted to use me so she can gain inspiration," Rarity says.
"That doesn't sound very nice," Emiru says.
"It wasn't. However, my friends and I were able to free the others and stop Vignette from using her phone to change anything she didn't like. And almost did it to the entire audience. We were also able to perform at the parade," Rarity says.
"That must have been a fun adventure," Nodoka says.
"Not entirely fun, but it was one of the many magical situations we're able to get out of," Applejack says.
"True, but it also seems that Equestria Magic must be responsible for Mágico coming to live the way he did," Sun says.
"What about Komonosu? Was he a doll too?" Sonata asks.
"Hmm, to be perfectly honest, I have no idea where Komonosu came from. He never told me about his origin or where he came from," Sunset says.
"So he's always been a creepy guy with spider legs on his back?" Aria asks.
"Aria," Wire Wolf sternly says with her arms crossed.
"Well it's true," Aria says.
Sun sighs, "It's still not a nice thing a say Aria."
Then turns to Sunset, "But are you sure he didn't mention anything about where he came from?"
"No. Not at all. I asked him a few times, but he always avoided talking about it. I figure it might be a personal topic for him," Sunset says.
"I guess that would make sense," Minami says.
"It's possible, I have to wonder what happened to him," Lala says.
"That is something that Komonosu will have to tell us when he's ready," Sun says.
"So Sunset, decide what you wanna do?" Rainbow asks.
"Well, I did always want to try out some sports, and go outside and explore, maybe go on hiking and see different kinds of animals," Sunset says.
"That sounds like a good idea. Maybe we can find different animals and plants here," Fluttershy says.
"I can teach you how to figure skate," Homare says.
"And other kinds of sports," Rainbow says.
"Then it's a good time to head outside and have some fun," Applejack says.
"What about Rarity and Adagio?" Sonata asks.
"They might still be busy. I'll go drop off their pudding and I'll meet you all outside," Sun says.
"Then let's go!" Hana cheers.
Everyone then begins to make their way outside of the castle to have some fun outside. Sunset picks up the two plates of pudding and begins to make her way to the room where Rarity and Adagio are.
Mágico walks to Sun and asks, "Sun, can I talk to you about something?"
"Of course, what is it?" Sun asks.
"It's about Komonosu. He does seem like a nice person and he is full of unique magic and he's been kind to Sunset. However, I cannot help but to not trust him," Mágico says.
"How come?" Sun asks.
"Well, Komonosu appeared to us a couple of months ago. He's been showing us some incredible magic and has been very kind of Sunset and agreed to help cure Sunset of his illness," Mágico says.
"How can Komonosu can cure Sunset of her illness?" Sun asks.
"Well, he said that he needed a lot of magic in order to have enough to cure her. However, he said that he needs to borrow your magic so he can gain enough to cure Sunset of her illness," Mágico says.
"He wants to use our magic to cure how? How will that work?" Sun asks confused.
"I'm not sure. However, I doubt Komonosu could be trusted and has a different motive for using your magic. Sunset said I should try to give him the benefit of the doubt, and agree that we should ask you for help if things turn for the worst," Mágico says.
"I see," Sun says, concerned.
Mágico says, "Whatever you do, do not mention our conversation to Komonosu or anyone until tonight. I want to talk to you and your friends in private."
"Okay," Sun says.
Mágico then says, "I better get going. I'm sure Sunset is wondering where I am."
Mágico then walks away to see Sunset as Sun stands in the hall with concern. She fears that Mágico's concern might be true, and Komonosu might have an alternate motive for wanting their magic. She then wonders if he's the reason why they're here to begin with. Either way, she needs to discuss this with the others tonight and hope they can come up with a plan to escape.
