A month had passed since Naruto had arrived back at the leaf village. He had spent the past month scrambling around for missions, putting away his money, and exchanging letters with his new love. Now he was walking towards the main gates to meet with Tsunami and her family to go shop for a house to live in together. As he stood there, he could see, carriages pulling up towards the village off in the distance. Naruto waved to his family as he felt his chest fill with joy upon seeing them approaching. The horses pulled up to the entrance and the occupants started piling out. Inari was the first out of the vehicle as he sprinted towards Naruto.
"Daddy! I've missed you so much! I'm so happy to finally see you again!" He cheered, enveloping him in a hug that Naruto bent down to be crushed by. He stood up to find Tsunami running over towards him. She flung her arms around her little boyfriend and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"I've missed you too." He replied while looking her in the eyes before moving both hands to each side of her face and planting a kiss on her lips. Tazuna was paying off the driver of the carriage while all of this was happening. He walked over to Naruto and patted his shoulder.
"Good to see ya again, son. So, where are we going from here?"
"Well, I thought you guys could stay with me in my apartment until we find a home. We can stop by and drop off your things, maybe grab a bite at Ichiraku's before we start looking."
"Sounds good." Tsunami agreed, pecking him on the cheek. Naruto smiled and blushed. They all headed over to Naruto's apartment with Naruto leading the way. Once they got through the door, they sat their bags down and took a look around the empty space.
"Well we're certainly going to need a full-on house, this apartment won't be enough room for all four of us." Tsunami commented upon inspection.
"So this is where daddy lives?" Inari asked, sauntering about, peeking into the other rooms.

"I could eat." Added Tazuna.
"Lets go!" agreed Inari. And with that, they headed out for Ichiraku. They strolled through the lively village, filled with bustling people and playful children running through the streets.
'So this is where I'm going to be living from now on...looks like a happy place... and those kids over there look nice…' Inari pondered to himself while taking in his surroundings. In a matter of minutes, they found themselves taking their seats in front of an old man behind a counter.
"So I take it you're this Ichiraku Naruto's been telling us about?" Inquired Tazuna.

"New family? So did they adopt you or something?"

"It's quite delicious!" Tsunami replied, slurping down another strand of noodles.
"Isn't it?..there's only one thing I can think of in the world that tastes better than this, and I hope to get some later tonight." Naruto whispered softly while leaning into the woman's ear. Tsunami blushed a deep red and her heart skipped a beat upon hearing this.
"Maybe tonight after dinner for dessert." She whispered back at him. Naruto smiled in return.
"Eh...so Inari, do you like it?" He asked.
"Oh yes, it's some of the best food I've ever eaten! I especially like the fishcake!"
"Yeah, I like the fishcake too." The shinobi stated in agreement when a certain instructor entered the shop, poking his head through the flags.
"Naruto?" He called out, causing the blonde's head to whip around.
"Iruka-Sensei?"
"Hey! Long time no see! So, how did the mission go?"
"It was great! I thought it would just be a tedious C rank mission but it turned out to be a lot more dangerous and fun than this old guy here led on! Kakashi said the real mission would've been A rank. Plus, I met my new family during it!"

They walked through the streets, until they came across the first house for sale. It was a fairly tall building that had black shingles and was made from stone. There was a woman nicely dressed in a skirt standing in front of it. She then spotted the family approaching.

"Alright. Everything's in order, enjoy your new house!" She said and the pair shook hands with her before leaving for their apartment for the night, stopping at the market on the way per Tsunami's request.
