"Last night, the person killed was..."

"Neji."

"Are you kidding me?!" Neji lost whatever bit of sanity he was hanging on to and threw his card on the floor. He hadn't the opportunity to think!

"What are you going to do now Neji, use the poison card or forfeit?" Tenten asked her co-captain.

"Poison." Neji murmured as he withdrew the card with a vial drawn on it from his breast pocket. "Can we have a discussion first before I use it?" He asked.

"Sure but voting won't count since it all comes down to the same thing." Tenten informed.

"Okay. We have to know this about the werewolves; they are good strategists. If Shikamaru were in the game I would have voted him out without question but he isn't. The only people capable of good strategies among those that are left are all except Kiba."

"HEY!" Kiba squawked.

"What? It's true." Neji shrugged. It took Naruto and Lee to keep Kiba's butt on the floor and not ripping at Neji's long hair. The nerve!

"Jokes aside though, what Neji is saying is the truth." Sakura said seriously. "Whoever the wolves are are a powerful team. Powerful enough to act so normal and steer attention off of them."

"Who is strategic enough and has the abilities to pull a poker face?" Ino asked herself than anybody but they heard her nevertheless and searched through their heads for people among the left over five that are like that.

"All of them, dattebayo!" Naruto threw in the towel early. It was hard to think about who was who right now.

"Honestly, it's hard to think. All of them are smart enough to pull things off and cover it up!" Sakura ran her hands through her hair with a small growl.

Kiba huffed and defiantly turned his head aside. "I like it how you guys are omitting me from the smart and strategic ones." He muttered sarcastically to himself but in Kiba's voice, he might as well yelled it because all heard. "You know what?! I'm done with this game! I should be happy that I made it this far. I was expecting to be the first to die but I guess I was just so 'unsmart' that I was not worth killing."

"He's butthurt." Naruto commented from the sidelines. Kiba was about to start a fight when Tenten announced that the time was up.

"So Neji, who's your pick?" The judge asked.

"Sasuke." Neji didn't hesitate.

"Hn, why me?" Sasuke glared darkly at Neji.

"You have honestly been suspicious from the start. You think I didn't notice your smirk when you chose a card?" Neji pegged and instantly, Sasuke's three best fan girls came to his defense.

"Don't you dare accuse Sasuke-kun like that!" Sakura yelled.

"Yeah, he's a gentleman!" Karin added.

"He would never have killed me!" Ino finished.

"You guys are the reason Sasuke has been avoiding his verdict all day! You keep supporting him without proof! Sasuke would have killed you without question!" Neji argued but chose the wrong words for it, a mistake he came to realise later as the three started boiling with righteous anger.

"What was that, jerk?!" Ino seethed.

"Are you calling Sasuke-kun a murderer?!" Karin seethed double.

"Is that what you're trying to say?!" Sakura seethed the most.

"In my opinion, he's an international terrorist in another dimension." Gaara spoke for the first time in almost an hour that they had been playing the game.

"Look who decided to speak." Sasuke snided. "Why is no one suspecting this guy?!" He uncharacteristically pointed at the redhead.

"Because this wasn't a discussion anyways!" Tenten yelled in exasperation as everyone started raising voices and pointing fingers at whom they felt were wolves.

"Gaara has been so quiet before and he suddenly spoke?! When I was being questioned?! Hello?! Anybody using their brains?!"

"Sasuke has been using you three as a cover and you're all too dumb to realise it!"

"I think Karin is the second wolf because she has been so defensive of Sasuke!"

"Please calm down everyone!"

"Shut up Lee!"

"And who's to say your baby sister is not a wolf. Look at her, she has big eyes!"

"Wow, first you defend her and now you accuse her? Wow!"

"Tenten could be a wolf! The person that talks most is always suspicious dattebayo!"

"Idiot, I am the judge!"

Shikamaru had a field day laughing until Tenten could take it no more and finally, she snapped.

"KEEP QUIEETTT!" The girl raved and started smacking everyone on the back of their heads including Gaara and Hinata who didn't even talk!

"What the hell Tenten?!" They all complained.

"Shut up!" Tenten's command worked effectively. "Now Neji, who are you poisoning? Still Sasuke?" She asked.

"Yes."

"Too bad, I am a prophet." Sasuke revealed his card and switched it with the hunter card.

"Told you so!" Sakura huffed and Ino blew a raspberry oh so maturely at Neji's face.

"Who are you hunting?" Tenten asked.

"Gaara." Sasuke didn't hesitate at all.

"Damn you, I was an effing civilian!" Gaara spoke for the second time and threw his card unto the floor angrily.

Shikamaru was rolling on the floor now.

"So Karin you were a wolf?!" Sakura asked in disbelief.

"No! I am a civilian, that means-!" Karin froze.

Everyone froze.

Time froze.

Realisation.

Betrayal.

Disbelief.

"HINATA!"

"KIBA!"

They all yelled incredulously.

"Sorry!" Hinata squeaked at Neji's profound face. He thought he knew betrayal until this game happened!

"This is crazy! Hinata was a wolf?!" Naruto yelled.

"Kiba-kun, you lied!" Lee accused.

"How come I missed the signs?!" Sasuke asked himself.

"It seems that you all forgot that Kiba is one of the best at drama class." Tenten brought it to their remembrance that Kiba was in fact, a good actor! "And you all just bypassed Hinata as being innocent and over expressive."

"That's right, suckers! Eat dust because the wolves win!" Kiba yelled.

"B-but the strategy?!" Ino was baffled.

"Oh, I helped with that." Shikamaru added from the sidelines.

"WHAAAT?!" Everyone yelled.

"I just pointed out who to kill at some points, but killing Ino first was all Kiba." Shikamaru revealed.

"Traitor!" Kiba yelped as Ino started to chase him.

"I totally overlooked the fact that Shikamaru could help from the sidelines!" Neji smacked his folded hand on his other open palm in self blame.

"Hn." That means 'me too' in Sasuke language.

"I was a civilian." Gaara scowled at Sasuke who pointedly ignored the redhead to hide his embarrassed face.

"That was awesome 'ttebayo!" Naruto's happy yell stopped Ino, Sakura and Karin from ganging up on Kiba and Neji from staring so disbelievingly at Hinata.

"Yes! The game was so interesting and enlightening!" Lee yelled too.

"I also kinda enjoyed it although I was killed way too early." Ino smiled. "Next time, I wanna be the Witch!" She declared.

"No way Ino-pig, the witch card is mine!" Sakura argued.

"Being the wolf was fun. I liked testing my acting skills!" Kiba laughed smugly at his well played act of innocence. He also had Hinata and Shikamaru's good collaboration skills to thank for his success. There were times he almost slipped up and they warned him with a sign.

"Being the wolf was fun for me too." Hinata agreed with a soft smile.

The closing bells rang and everyone perked.

"Wow, it's already closing hours?!" Tenten mused.

"Time flies when you're having fun." Shikamaru shrugged and stood to his feet. Maybe next time he was going to play the game along with them. Tenten's game was a good one.
