No new updates, just trying to put ideas down into words. Just a short chapter because the next one will get pretty lengthy. Enjoy!

Time skip, 5 years later.

I grinned, watching the fire dance across my fingertips, the warm sensation filling me with a cool, almost endless energy. I watched as the little flames jumped from my index finger to my thumb, before spreading and completely covering my hand. I put my hands together, allowing the flames to spread to the other, and drew them apart. I focused, trying to make all the flames condense into balls inside my palms. It took a lot of concentration, but I managed it.

I turned and grinned up at my mom. "See mom!" I told you I could do it, I don't need any practice!" I said to her, with a slight lisp as my middle teeth were missing.I felt almost bubbly as she smiled down at me, and I turned back to my flames, just in time for them to blow up in my face with a loud BANG. Dark smoke settled down on me.

I heard my mom absolutely roar with laughter and I frown at her, giving her my biggest eyes I could. She laughed even harder, pushing her hand at my head to turn my eyes away. "Oh Percy! I told you, my love, you have to maintain the form otherwise it will change on you. And don't give me those eyes young man, I warned you!" She briefly scolded before forming a ball of fire in her own hands, slowing making it bigger and bigger until it was the size of a beach ball, and then she threw the fire in the air with her mind, until it got high enough to explode in a shower of sparks.

I watched in wonder as the fire crackled and popped before it disappeared, and I turned back to my mom. She was so awesome! I tried it again, forming the balls in my hands, and while focusing, I threw them one after another into the air as high as I could. I watched as one exploded into sparks just like my mom, but the other collapsed in on itself, spewing out a black smoke, which dispersed into the air. I smiled, happy that both of my cool new powers were coming along, but I frowned as I realized the black smoke wasn't effective when there alot of space to fill or wind to blow it away.

A loud pop and a flash of light made me turn around, where a strange looking woman stood, looking at my mom. I looked between them, confused. "Hestia, it is time for his sleep. His power is growing and Zeus will soon take notice." The woman said.

"Mom? What is she talking about?". My mom turned to me, and I saw the tears in her eyes. "Oh my dear baby, I love you so much." She hugged me tight. I was about to speak when suddenly everything began fading into black, and the last thing I saw was my mothers kind eyes, and the woman's eyes, pitchblack, with what seemed to be blue around the middle. They creeped me out, and I wanted to warn my mom, but I couldn't move. Eventually everything stilled, and all became quiet.

Third Person POV

Hecate walked into the dimly lit cave where she usually held her meetings with the king of the gods. She flashed in Hestia's son, laying him on some furniture, before sitting down and waiting for Zeus to arrive. She had some regrets, telling Zeus about Hestia's lovechild. But at least she did not tell Zeus who the boy's father was, or about her altering the power seal. She wanted to at least give the boy a fighting chance.

She had been corned by Zeus after her first meeting with Hestia. He had sensed something awry, and being the slightly paranoid king he was, he decided to check on it. But now he was convinced his own peace loving and docile sister was trying to overthrow him. Which meant nothing would get in his way, including the goddess of magic.

A sharp smell of ozone and a flash later, a proud Zeus stood in the middle of the cave, looking fit for his title as king, though the sky blue toga did look quite ridiculous on such a muscular man. He looked around the room, eyes finally settling on the boy.

Zeus strode towards him, lifting his arm and summoning his Master Bolt. "Not so fast my king, we had a deal." He turned towards Hecate, before frowning. "Ah, so we did. I shall do my part as is only fair." He began chanting in Ancient Greek, a golden orb flowing out of his mouth and into Hecate's. "You now have all the titles you had as when you were a Titaness." He practically spat out the word Titaness, which was quite weird considering he himself was the son of two Titans.

He turned towards the boy, who had begun stirring. Hecate's eyes widened. "Wait no! He should be asleep! Do not kill him yet!" Percy looked up, confused by all the yelling and the new background just to see an imposing face with lightning blue eyes, filled to the brim with hatred. The last thing he saw, again, before he was enveloped in darkness. A huge lightning bolt struck him, and a bright flash emerged, both the gods turning away from the sight. A smell of burning flesh filled the room, and when the light died down, there was nothing but a scorched mark, with a completely obliterated seat.

Hecate looked on in shock, surprised that Zeus, the king that was supposed to be fair and just, killed a child looking him right in the eye. She could never face Hestia again. Not after betraying her and getting her only child killed. Zeus sniffed, gagging at the smell of burning flesh, before he turned to her. "Good riddance,I say. Come now, it is time for the council meeting. You will be of utmost importance there." He grabbed her arm and they too disappeared in a flash of light.
