Chapter 4
Our new home
The boys came back talking and laughing. "You stole my fish; I had caught it first." Kol Proclaimed. "Well, brother, I don't recall you owning all the fish in the river." Klaus answered with a big smile. "Next time I'll race you who can catch a fish first." Kol said childishly. They came over to the campfire. "Ladies the river is all yours." Finn said to the two girls. "Thank you, brother, What's this about a fish?" Rebekah asked looking at Kol. "Nothing sister, our brother just challenged me to a fishing match. And he cheated!" Kol yelled at Niklaus. "I did no such thing." Niklaus said. "Sounds like you had fun." Caroline smile at the brothers. "Bekah shall we get ready to go?" Caroline asked Rebekah. "Yes, I'll go get us some clothes and two towels, you can wait here." Rebekah said and got up from the bench. Klaus took the sit next to Caroline. Taking her hand and kissing it. Caroline leant into Klaus, putting her head on his shoulder. "I missed you." Caroline said. "I missed you too. Are you tired?" Klaus asked her. "I little bit, but not tired enough to go for a walk later." She said and kissed his cheek. He put his arm around her. "You two are so adorable." Kol said. Caroline nuzzled her head in Klaus´s neck. Rebekah came out from the house. She walked over to the campfire. "I got us clothes and towels. Shall we go Caroline." Rebekah said. Caroline kissed Klaus on the cheek one more time, and got up. "I'll see you when I get back, handsome" Caroline said "I'll be waiting love." Niklaus said. They left the brothers by the fire.
Caroline followed Rebekah to the river. They got to the river and put the clean clothes on a rock, they took off their clothes, Rebekah turned towards the river and walked in. Caroline did the same. Swimming and washing themselves they enjoyed the serenity of the night sky. Rebekah floated on the water, looking at the stars. "I never imagined that my life would be better after I died. Everything is so much easier, the house work and the cutting of meat I did, was so easy. Not feeling cold, but feeling the sensation of the water and the wind make me feel more alive than when I was human." Rebekah said quietly. "The gentle felling of the campfire not felling the warmth but feeling something more." Rebekah said. "I'm happy." Rebekah concluded looking at the stars. "It's like I was born to be this way." Rebekah closed her eyes floating on the water. "I feel the same." Caroline said. They had washed and had put on clean clothes, walking back to their home. "So, you are going for a night walk with Nik?" Rebekah said teasingly. "Caroline smiled. "Yes." Caroline said. They walked over the house and Rebekah walked toward the washing room with Carolines and her own dirty clothes. "Good night you two." Rebekah said. "Good night Bekah" Caroline said. "Good night little sister." Niklaus said. Rebekah closed the front door behind her, leaving the two alone by the fire. Klaus took Carolines hand and started walking away from the house. "You look beautiful tonight." Klaus said and looked at her. Caroline smiled lovingly at him "Thank you, you look handsome tonight too." Caroline said. "How was your day?" Caroline asked. "It was refreshing, I feel accomplished. Seeing the work Finn had done with the stone we carved, made me impatient to see the end. I believe that we will be done by the end of this week." Klaus said. "Elijah, Finn and I talked about the staircase, if we should build it out of wood. Having seen the bench that Kol made, it's likely that my brothers have told Kol to build it tomorrow." Klaus said and smiled. "How was your day love?" Klaus asked. "It was good, we have done so much already, you have all made me so happy to be here. I never imagined that the Mikaelsons would be so kind and happy to help, with so little convincing." Caroline said and laughed. "Do we change a lot in your time?" Klaus asked. "Some of you do. Time has a way of making you forget that kindness is given not earned." Caroline said. "What am I like in your time?" Klaus asked. Caroline looked up at the stars. "You died, almost a thousand years ago. Protecting your family. You were the hero." Caroline said looking at Klaus. "But that will never happen in this timeline." Caroline concluded, giving him a loving smile. Klaus stopped and looked at her. "Am I wrong to assume that your feelings for me are connected to the other me?" Klaus asked. Caroline looked at him, with a small smile. "I didn't court him, if that's what you were thinking. He and I had history, yes." Caroline said and kissed Klaus gently on the lips. He returned the kiss. "Was it foolish of me to think that you had come here to be with me." he said breaking the kiss. "Maybe that was part of it." Caroline said and kissed him again. "Was it?" he asked breaking the kiss. Looking at her face, it contorted to different emotions, from sadness to yearning. "I fell in love with you when you were alive, but didn't realize how much I loved you, by then it was too late. I have loved the memory of you for a thousand years. I did come here for you, to be with you, to give us a chance to be together. I want to make you happy." Caroline said with tears in her eyes. "I know that you aren't the same person, but I still feel that I know you. Know who you will become." she said crying with a quiet voice. "Love, don't cry. I'm right here. You have me. We have eternity together." he said taking her into him hugging her tightly. "Thank you for telling me love." he said while stroking her hair. "I hope with time that I will come to deserve your love and affection. Having a strong and beautiful woman as you by my side. You have brought light to my life; within the two days you have been here. My siblings and I were fighting and arguing before you found us in the woods. We had done terrible things and we didn't think that we could ever be forgiven, but you have showed us that what we are, isn't evil, but a blessing. The school that we are building has given us hope that we can work together as a family. And the future you spoke of, the terrible evil we will face. I can't imagine having anyone else lead us." Klaus said. She broke the hug and looked him in the eyes. He brushes her tears from her cheeks with his hands. "Caroline, love, you have done more for me and my family then anyone could ask for, giving us a purpose and being there for us. Bekah has never been this relaxed and happy. My brothers talk kindly to one another and we laugh together, that's something that we haven't done since we were children." Klaus said with a quiet voice. Caroline stopped crying. She looked at him with so much love in her eyes. "Thank you." she said. They kissed under the night sky and held each other. "We should get to bed, love. We have a long day tomorrow." Klaus said looking at her. "You make me forget everything around us. It's like we are the only people in the world. You are right, we should head back." Caroline laughed and they walked holding hands back to the house. "Before I forget to ask, have you seen any horses around these parts?" Caroline asked. "Yes, I did see some last summer, they should be coming from the south any day." Klaus answered. "I think we will need two horses for a wooden cart. When we go travel the land for creatures we will need normal transportation, we can't carry them to the school." Caroline said while laughing. "I can catch two horses for you, when they come." Klaus said happily. "They will need to be tamed; can you do that?" Caroline said looking at him. "Anything for you love." Klaus said. They came to the house and Klaus kissed her hand "Good night love, sweet dreams." Klaus said. "Good night Klaus." she said back. They parted ways and he went to the room door by the side of the house. Caroline walked in to the living room and proceeded to Rebekahs room. Getting in bed she fell asleep quickly.
The morning came and Caroline was awake, she had slept wonderful. She got out of bed and went to get dressed. Rebekah got out of bed and went to her closet to find some clothes. "Good morning Caroline." Rebekah said. "Good morning bekah." Caroline said. Caroline walked out the door to the living room. The brothers were sitting at the table. "Good morning love." Klaus said. "Good morning darling." Caroline said with a smile. "And good morning to you boys too." Caroline said looking at each brother. "Haha, And I thought we were invisible. Good morning Caroline." Kol said "Good morning miss Caroline" Finn and Elijah said. Caroline got the blood bottle out her bag and poured the blood in 6 cups that where on the table. "Breakfast is served." Caroline said and put the bottle on the table. The brothers took a cup each. Caroline took a cup and sat down next to Klaus. Rebekah came in to the living room. "Good morning brothers. Oh, good I was feeling hungry." Rebekah said, she sat down and took a cup. "Now that everyone is here, we have decided that Elijah shall carve the onyx stone and Caroline, you shall deliver it to me. I will place it in. While we do that Niklaus shall go find us horses and start taming them. Kol shall put up the fences. After that he will start making the stairwell for the basement. Rebekah, you will catch us some deer that you will release inside the fenced area. After that you can help Caroline deliver the onyx stone to me." Finn said. "Finn and I will need some time to make measurements of the celling. So, until then you can wait here miss Caroline." Elijah said taking a sip of blood. Everyone nodded. They had finished breakfast and they all went outside. Elijah and Finn vamped away. Kol went to take a shovel and the wooden poles and fences he had made. He vamped away with his tools. Rebekah went to the washing room to wash the clothes. "I'll be leaving too, love." Klaus said to Caroline, he kissed her on the lips. "I will miss you darling." Caroline said to him. "Then I'll be sure to come back fast." He said and laughed. Stroking her lip with his thump and looking at her eyes. Carolines hand went to his face stroking his stubbles. His other hand took her hand and stroked it. "I will miss you more." He said in a whisper. Klaus let her go and he turned to go find robs for the horse catching. Caroline lingered with her eyes on his back. She turned to go find Rebekah and help her do the washing and also wash the cups after breakfast. "Rebekah, do you need help?" Caroline said to Rebekah who was washing the dirty clothes in a bucket of water. "Yes, could you go bring more water from the river. You can use these two buckets." Rebekah said and pointed at the two-empty buckets. Caroline took the two buckets and vamped towards the river to fill them. She quickly filled them and vamped back to Rebekah. "Here you go" Caroline said. "I'll wash the cups we used." Caroline said and moved out to the living room. She washed them and put them back on the shelf. Caroline walked out to the campfire where she sat to wait for Elijah and Finn to come get her. Rebekah came out of the house with wet clothes in a bucket. She moved over to the draying line to hang them. Rebekah hanged the clothes and vamped over to Caroline. "I'll go to the village and move their belongings to our house." Rebekah said to Caroline. She nodded at her. Rebekah vamped away, leaving Caroline alone.
"Miss Caroline, we are ready to start." Finn said. Caroline got up from the bench and vamped with him towards the onyx deposit. "Miss Caroline, can you try to lift this piece of onyx?" Elijah asked. Caroline nodded and used all her vampire strength. She could lift it. "Perfect, they do weight more than the limestone but you don't seem to have any problems." Elijah said. Finn also lifted a block of onyx. "Let me show you where we will start." Finn said and vamped away. Caroline followed behind him. They came to the entrance to the castle. "We will start putting down the celling from here. We will have 3 stairwells to the basement, that Kol will make. One at the middle at each side." Finn said and showed her the leader, where Klaus had dawned the plans. Caroline nodded and put the onyx stone down. "You have a knack for this, Finn." Caroline said and smiled. "Well, I do enjoy building, I helped my father build most of the houses in our village." Finn said. "Trying to build a stone structure is exiting. It´s new and you seem to have seen many of this kind of structure in your time, so, I trust you that it´s possible." Finn concluded. Caroline looked up at the sky. "It's a good thing that we have such good weather. Otherwise, it would be problematic." Caroline said. "I agree." Finn said. "I'll be right back with more onyx." Caroline said and vamped away. the building proceeded and within a few hours the celling was placed. Coming back to the house, Elijah, Finn and Caroline saw Kol working at the material for the staircases. They heard horses coming from the north. Klaus had caught two and was taming them. Rebekah had brought many tools from the village houses; they were placed on a table she had put outside. "The deer are in the enclosure with the horses. Rebekah captured them all." Kol said. "It was a little difficult but I did it." Rebekah said coming out of the house. "You did good, Bekah." Caroline said and smiled. "Nik made this drawing." Rebekah said and gave the drawing to Finn, it was on a big piece of leather. Caroline looked at it and was amazed. It had the entire building dawned on it and the floor plan for each level. Big windows and big doors with a master staircase to the first floor, smaller staircases to the basement and to the upper floors. 4 floors were to be built. Klaus had drawn each angel of the castle for his brothers to follow. "This is amazing." Caroline said. "Yes, our brother has a talent for drawing." Finn said. "We talked this through this morning before you girls woke up. So that we had a floor plan to follow. He must have drawn it after catching the horses." Elijah said. "So, shall we proceed to the limestone deposit?" Finn said. "I found some tools, it's on the table, if you can use it then take them." Rebekah said. Elijah walked over to the table and took some tools with him. They vamped away.
Caroline carried the limestone to Finn. She was fast and the building had a first floor by the afternoon. Kol had built the staircases to the basement and the first floor. He then proceeded to build the window frames and doors. Rebekah had demolished the village houses and was sorting through all the things. She had placed all the furniture in the castle. Klaus had tamed the two horses and was now carving the fireplaces in the castle. Elijah and Finn had moved to the seconded floor. Caroline was carrying the limestone to the building site. The day came to an end and the sun was setting. The construction of the second and third floor was done, leaving only the fourth floor, celling and the fifth floor for the towers. The group gathered around the campfire; Caroline had the cups of blood on a tray. "Good work everyone." Caroline said and walked to each sibling to give them their dinner. They all had taken a cup and Caroline now had her own cup and drank slowly, she stood next to Klaus. "Hello darling." she said to Klaus. "Hello sweetheart." He said back. They smiled at each other. "Oh no, must you two flirt every second you are near each other? I mean I'm happy for you, but have some decency to turn it down when we are all here." Kol said with a smile. "Kol let them be." Finn said "What? my brother is defending Niklaus. What has the world come to? Have I died and woken up in a different world?" Kol said with a laugh. "Oh, I have." Kol said childishly. Finn chuckled. "Tomorrow we will finish the castle." Finn said looking into the flames. "I can't wait to live in it." Rebekah said looking at her brothers. "I'll make the glass for the windows tomorrow." Klaus said. "I was hoping you would take that job. You have the steadiest hands of all of us. Finn said. "The kiln in the village is still there. You can use it." Rebekah said. "I can bring you the sand. I know where there is a lot of it." Rebekah said. "Thank you, Bekah." Klaus said looking at his sister with a smile. "Elijah, Miss Caroline and I will have the same jobs for tomorrow. Kol you can continue your wood working. When we have finished, we will help with the other tasks." Finn concluded. They finished their meal and gave the cups to Caroline. "Well, brother I believe it's time for a fishing match." Kol said to Klaus. "Yes, let's go bath." Elijah said. The brothers walked over to their room door and walking in. Coming back out with clean clothes and towels. "I will defiantly win again today." Klaus said to Kol. "In your dreams, brother." Kol said with a smile. The brothers vamped away to the river, leaving the girls by the fire. "I was thinking of having Ayana stay on the first floor and later have that floor be for all the witches. What do you think?" Caroline asked Rebekah. "Yes, but can we have the fourth floor? I really want a great view." Rebekah said. "Yes, we can." Caroline said back smiling at her. "We should celebrate when we are finish and invite Ayana here." Caroline said. "Yes, I agree." Rebekah said with a smile looking at the sky. It was beginning to darken; the stars would be out soon.
The boys came back. Rebekah had found them clean clothes and towels and was ready to go. "Took you long enough." Rebekah said. "My apologies sister, our brother Kol didn't take it well losing so we had to wait until Kol had caught a fish before Klaus." Elijah said to her. "I would have won sooner if the fish weren't that slippery." Kol said. "Yes, brother, blame the fish and not your skills." Klaus said laughing. "Caroline, will you go for a walk with me after your bath?" Klaus asked Caroline. Taking her hand and kissing it. "I wouldn't miss it for the world darling." Caroline said to him. "Come now Caroline." Rebekah said and interrupted their moment. The two girls vamped to the river. Caroline quickly got undressed and jumped onto the water. Rebekah undressed and walked in the water. Washing themselves the girls didn't waste much time swimming. "I feel so tired today. I can't wait to go to bed." Rebekah said. "Yes, today was a long day too. Tomorrow will be the last day of hard work, I hope." Caroline said while getting out of the water. "I hope so too." Rebekah said and got out of the water. They got dressed and took their dirty clothes. They vamped back to the house. Rebekah took the dirty clothes from Caroline and walked into the house. "Good night you two." Rebekah said walking through the front door. "Good night, little sister. Klaus said. "Good night Bekah." Caroline said. Klaus was sitting by the fire. Caroline sat next to him. She took his hand and squeezed it a bit. "Shall we go for a walk darling." Caroline said. "Yes." Klaus answered. They walked towards the entrains of the castle. "I have some things to discuss with you." Caroline said. Klaus looked at her. "The creatures that will live with us in the castle will be our student. So, I thought to make each floor the center of each species. Having the werewolves in the basement, the witches on the first floor. The vampires on the second floor. And the special creatures on the third floor. We will have the fourth floor to ourselves and maybe have some classes there too, or specific gathering rooms." Caroline said. Klaus looked at Caroline to continue. "We will make some of the rooms in the basement have chains at the wall. And have the werewolves chained up at every full moon. That way no one gets hurt." Caroline said looking at him. "In my time there are many books about schools that have a house sigil and each house competes for point, then at the end of a school year the house with most point gets a prize. I wanted to have something similar." Caroline said. "I can see what you mean, it will promote healthy rivalry. And having the werewolves chained up at the full moon is an excellent idea." Klaus said looking up at the night sky. "Having lost my brother to those monsters, it's hard for me to see them as anything else, but you have hope, and I trust you." Klaus said to her. "You are part werewolf too." She said and smiled to him, stroking his face with her free hand. "Not completely. My mother cursed me; I am only half myself." Klaus said taking her hand and kissing it. "We will need the doublegangers blood and the moon stone to break the curse. Also, we will have to scarifies a human, a werewolf and a vampire. But the next doubleganger will first be born in 500 years. Giving us enough time to create a prophecy." Caroline said looking at him intensely. "While we are traveling, searching for people to live here with us, we will spread a prophecy about werewolf gaining the ability to control their shift. We will have you as the hero who can transform werewolves into hybrids. We must be honest in this prophecy that we will write. Anything less and the people who wish to help wouldn't know who to come to, and who to trust." Caroline said. "We can write the prophecy together tomorrow night. If you want." he said. "Who is the doubleganger?" Klaus asked. "it's a girl with brown hair. She lived here in the village. You must have known her; her blood was the main ingredient for the vampire curse." Caroline said. "Tatiana." Klaus said. "Her family came from a village from the old land." Klaus said. "Yes, in Bulgaria." Caroline said. "The next doubleganger will be in the old land 500 years from now." Caroline stated. "That will give us enough time to find a way that doesn't involve killing anyone." Caroline said looking up at the stars. "My mother was a powerful witch and didn't fret killing the innocent." Klaus said. "Putting a curse on me after what she did to us, wasn't enough evil for her. I'm glad she is dead." he said. Caroline took his hand and put it to her cheek. Looking him in the eyes. "How did it go with the horses today?" She asked. "It went well, they got used to me quickly. I think they had been someone horses before." he said. "How was your day with my brothers?" he asked. "It was hard work but we made it a long way. Finn told me that he had built most of the houses in the village. He is very skilled. And you will be making glass tomorrow. Where did you learn?" She asked. "In the old world we would have many travelers come and go, some of them showed us how to make different things. And glass making was one of them." he said with a smile. "Are you impressed with me?" he asked her. "Yes, verry much, you are amazing." she said and placed a kiss on his lips. They kissed each other. Coming apart she looked at him with loving eyes. "Love, we should go to bed. It's getting late." he said "lead the way darling." she said smiling. They came back to the house and kissed before parting ways "good night love." he whispered. "Good night darling." she whispered back. Caroline got into Rebekahs room and got in bed; she fell asleep.
The next morning Caroline woke up, she saw Rebekah getting dressed, she got out of bed and went to get herself a dress from the closet. "Good morning Bekah." Caroline said. "Good morning Care. Rebekahs said. Caroline smiled. "I haven't been called Care for many years, thank you bekah." Caroline said and laughed. "You are welcome, now shall we get to breakfast I'm starving. Rebekah said with a smile. The two girls moved out of the room and entered the living room. The brothers weren't here yet. "I'll get the cups." Rebekah said and went to the shelf to find six cups. Caroline opened her bag to find the blood bottle. Rebekah placed the cups on the table. Caroline poured the cups all the way up. "Shall we have two cups today. That will empty this bottle but I think we can manage." Caroline said. "Yes, please." Rebekah said. The brothers came in. "Good morning boys." Caroline said. "Breakfast is served." she added. They said good morning back. Klaus sat down next to Caroline. They finished their cups and Caroline poured them another cup, emptying the bottle. That leaves only two bottles for the future. "Caroline, can I ask what you have in your bags. You have been carrying them everywhere." Kol asked. Caroline looked at him with a smile. "it's just things I thought would be useful. I have some tools in one bag, like a compas knife and robs and some other small helpful tool. The bag with blood bottles you already know it´s content. And the last bag I have books. Information on the future and the enemies we will be facing." Caroline said. "Can I see the books?" Elijah asked. "Yes, but not right now." Caroline said. "So be it." Elijah said. "Can I see the compass?" Klaus asked. Caroline found the compass in her bag and put it on the table. Klaus took it. "It looks nothing like the compass I have seen." He gave it to Finn who was amazed by the simplicity. The compass was passed around. When Caroline got it back, she put it back in her bag. They had finished their meal. "Shall we get to it?" Caroline said and got up. "Yes, I was just about to say the same." Finn said with a smile, feeling happy that he wasn't the only one who was eager to get started. The group all went outside. Elijah and Finn vamped towards the limestone deposit. Kol went over to continue the wood working. Rebekah went to the barn to find a big bucket for the sand. Caroline came over to Klaus and kissed him lingering by his side. "I'll see you later darling." she said to him. He smiled at her. "When I think you couldn't get any more lovable you surprise me. Have a great day sweetheart." he said. Caroline vamped away.
Caroline carried the limestone to Finn and he placed it. The morning was spent doing this repeatably. They finished the castle by the time the sun was up high. It was midday. The last piece of stone was placed and Finn, Elijah and Caroline looked astonish at the building. "Lets go tell the others that the castle walls have been placed." Finn said. They found Kol placing a door in frame inside the castle. "Kol, we have finished the walls. Do you need any help?" Elijah asked. "Yes, will you get this door in frame, I have so many more doors to make. And taking all the measurements is boring, can you do that to and come bring me?" Kol said looking bored. "Yes, I'll do that." Elijah said. "Come miss Caroline let's find Niklaus and Rebekah." Finn walked out the castle towards the village kiln. Getting to the kiln they saw Klaus making the glass. Rebekah vamped to him and unloaded sand in a pile. "Brother do you need any help? We have finished the castle walls." Finn asked "Yes, will you put the glass that I´ve made in the window frames that Kol has and place them in the walls." Klaus said. "I'll do that." Finn said. "Caroline you can move our stuff to the castle, we will be staying our first night there tonight." Finn said to Caroline. Caroline nodded and vamped over to the castle getting to the fourth level, she vamped to each room, memorizing them so that she could furnish them accordingly. She found the room with the best view, that would be Rebekahs room and she proceeded to find rooms for the brothers and herself. Having planed the décor, she vamped to the Mikaelson house and went into Rebekahs room. She carried the bedframe and after the bedding. She would carry as much as she could. It took her over an hour to move all the stuff that was in the Mikaelson house. She had arranged a room on the first floor as the living room and the kitchen was further down the hall way. The boy's room was all big rooms and Rebekah got the biggest room. Carolines room was next to Klaus's. She had arranged the furniture that Rebekah had brought from the village houses. Making several bedrooms ready for use. She was putting down a carpet in the main entrains, and looked out at the sunny day. Most of the doors and windows were placed, she couldn't believe how fast the brothers were. Caroline had finished up decorating the castle and went to find the others. Coming over to the Mikaelson house that was now empty inside. She saw Rebekah sitting on the bench and Kol was still working, sawing a wood. "Kol, Rebekah, I have moved our stuff into the castle. Rebekah, I found the best room for you. And you all got your own room." Caroline said and sat down next to Rebekah. "Thank you Care." Rebekah said smiling. "Need any help?" Caroline asked. "No, we have everything almost done. I'm making the horse carriage now. Klaus has finished the glass work and is inspecting the final result. Finn and Elijah are placing the last doors and windows. So, you can just relax a bit, Caroline." Kol said and looked up at her and smiled. "Shall we play a game while we wait Bekah?" Caroline asked. "Sure, what game shall we play?" Rebekah asked. "It's called hopscotch. I'll show you" Caroline got up and drew the boxes and took a small round rock from the ground. Caroline explained the rules to Rebekah, who quickly understood it, and then played two rounds, both games Rebekah won. "I can't believe I lost, bekah you are a master at this game." Carline said and laughed. "Well, it's an easy game." Rebekah said and laughed back. The boys came back before long. They saw Rebekah and Caroline playing. "Sister, Miss Caroline, what are you doing?" Finn asked with a smile. "It's called hopscotch brother and I'm a master at it already." Rebekah smiled. The brothers all gathered around the drawn boxes on the ground. "So how do you play?" Klaus asked. Rebekah explained the rules and showed them what to do. "We will have to have a competition one day to see who is the best." Caroline said. "Yes, we must, it will be fun." Rebekah said smiling. "The castle is built and ready for us to live in it." Finn said "And the horse cart is also built and ready for use. Kol said gesturing behind him. "I hardly believe it; you all did so much work. You are all so amazing." Caroline said. "Thank you, Caroline, I know I'm amazing, but please keep telling me." Kol said with a big grin. "Then let's go have a tur of the castle, I'll show you all the rooms you will be using." Caroline said. They all nodded and vamped after Caroline to the main entrance. Caroline and the others walked the hallways and looked at the final product. They got to the fourth floor, where Caroline showed them each their room. Rebekah was astonishing to see the view of the windows. She was so happy. Getting back down to the ground floor she guided them to the big room next to the main staircase. "This will be our meeting room and living room, for now. The kitchen, you saw, is just down the hallway." Caroline said and sat down. "I think we should talk about having Ayana come with us to find more witches to help us. She will be an asset for us, witches will naturally be scared of vampires and having her vouch for us can make things easier." Caroline said. "You make a good case, I agree." Elijah said. The rest also agreed. Then there is the matter of the books that Elijah wanted to see." Caroline got the bag with the books out and placed them on the table. "These books have all the information on all the creatures that will appear and the evil that is threatening the world. The evil is called Malivore and he will be created soon. We must stop that from happening. We have around 100 years to find the people who will create him. The reason for his creation is to parish the dragons and other monsters." Caroline said. The group went silences. "We will be fighting something that's stronger than the dragons?" Rebekah said "That sound exhilarating, when do we start?" Kol said with a smile. "I will bring Ayana here tomorrow. She will do a locator spell to find the nearest witches. Then we will know where to go to find people that can help us rescue Freya." Caroline said. "Then let's relax for today and meet up here at sunset to get dinner." Klaus said. "We don't have any more projects for today?" Rebekah asked. "No sister we have done everything we had planned." Elijah said with a smile. They all walked out the room and went to their rooms to inspect it more and make some changes if needed.
