Then it hit me winter is coming and my people have nothing to warm themselves.

I had to do something, so i started buying fur for smallfolk wool, fine silk and linen for me ' i am lord now and i must look as lord' and Bryce knew that so i gave him 18 gold dragons for seeds and 8 for rest. I also told him to spread a word that Sea Dragon Point is in need of a blacksmith. This trade cost me more than i thought it would. Now that people have something to wear i ordered them to plant seeds so we can harvest them in time.Six moons passed and ruined castle started looking like a real castle although it was not finished yet, only thing left to do is to tables, beds and other furniture to be made and be placed inside.

The castle have 13 small wall towers and two big ones at the main gate. Castle main gate was also an draw-bridge also moat had been dug in front side of castle it was not necessary to be around it because castle is almost at the cliff its backs was looking at the sea. It have three sections first one is for coming merchants, future blacksmiths and other men in service to me. To enter second section you had to pass under second gate and two towers protecting it. This section is for guards and their families and also for future stable.

Third section is Keep where i and hopefully my future family will live along with servants. Around the Keep is beautiful garden with enough space for sword practice or lunch time during summer. When you enter the Keep you will first find yourself in the great hall with two rows of tables and one big one in the front of a hall with great throne chair looking at tables. Little passages in the great hall lead to the kitchen and close to the kitchen are rooms for servants.

Second floor is for guest rooms and future children and castellan of the castle that i need to apoint. Third floor is so called lords chamber with beautifull view to the sea and waves. But beneath casle i found crypt of the old similar to the one in Winterfell. And i found empty big room so i decided that to be my tresury.I was proud of myself when i saw olive green and deep blue banner with hearth tree on it being hanged on the gates and behind throne chair.

I was deep in my thougths when familiar voice interupted my peace, it was Sorhen with big smile on his face but he only said "hello my lord" that was strange of him but then i found out why he was so formal. In his shadow i saw big chunky fellow with cold eyes and plain face he only said "my lord nice to meet you" with no emotions. Sorhen then presented him as Brynek captain of household guard of lady Maege Mormont.

Later i asked Sorhen why is he here "i dont know lady Mormont insisted when i was in Mormont Keep trying to sell spices from Dorne that he should acompany me to send regards to the new lord and to see if you are in need of help".

I had suspicions of her intentions but i could not jump to conclusions before i speak to Brynek.Before dinner with bearman i told my close friends Liddard, Meryk and Sorhen to loosen up our guest with drinks and good conversation with goal to get more details about lady Maege intentions. After enough food wich consisted of seal meat,venison, oysters of the bay, vine and pleasantries i asked him why his lady sent him here. He answered with serious voice "She invites you to Mormont Keep to talk".

That intruiged me so i pour him more vine and i give the nudge to Liddard to give a tost he immidietly jumped raised a glass and said "to lady Mormont". After dinner i said that we leave in five days time. 'That would be enough for servants to tailor me a fine sourcoat of the wool that i bought and to Sorhen get a gift for ladies invitation and her hospitality' i thought.On our way to the Bear Island i found out speaking with Brynek that Maege have five daughters Dacey, Alyssane, Lyra, Jorelle and Lyanna.

On docks of island were people bussy with there own lifes not reacting to us much, they only greeted Brynek as he escorted us to the Keep. In great hall of mormont keep there was she-bear lady Maege drinking and laughing with some men at the table,then she saw me and said "Edric, you are here, sit down for a drink, this is my castellan Berd and this is foster boy of house Wull Lark is his name".
