Everything I could see was black it was like a void, no color just black as the night. The last thing I could remember was the fight with the monster and how badly it ended for me. I mean I did win but it took long enough to get Erza attack by the two dogs before I could beat them and win. I'm so useless to the point I could beat them before Erza got more hurt, what can of a brother am I to let that happen.
But there was no point to think about it, I'm probably dead from the blood lost anyway. The fucking animal took a big bite out of me while I fought it before I fell to the ground in a pool of my blood. Wait if I die then how would Erza feel, oh shit she would be heartbroken over the fact I dead in front of her. She thinks I'm family and if I die she would shield her heart even more as to not get hurt.
I can't let that happen, so I started to run around the void to find a way out of this place. I don't know how long I have to run to get out of her but I will run as long as I have to, for me to get out. That what I did, I ran for I don't know how long but I never stopped running, but I have to thank the void for not making me tired of running for so long.
After what felt like hours of walking in the void I could see a light shine bright at the end of the void. So with everything I had, I ran at the light and once I was close enough to the light I jump into it. I was blinded by the bright light the came out of nowhere until I felt myself take a deep breath of air. I started to breed in the air like food and once I felt like I had enough, I started to calm down. I look around to see myself in a bed and I look down to see myself covered in bandages all over my body.
I tried to move my body, but stinging pain came shooting up my body when I moved. I wanted to scream at the pain, but I stopped myself from doing that and look to my side to see Erza on another bed. I smile at her sleeping form but I notice that Luna was nowhere to be seen. I look around to see Luna at the edges of the bed beside me and sleeping like a baby.
I heard a noise coming from the end of the room to see a nurse coming in. She looked up to see me on my bed wake before she started to hurry up to me. She started looking me over for anything that could be wrong with me or if I'm good. After about fifteen minutes or something of her looking me over, she finally stops and smiled at me.
"I couldn't see anything wrong with you but you do need to rest." The nurse said to me and I give her a nod before the nurse started walking out of the room. Once she was out of the room, I started trying to move my body like I did before but the pain came back. I could feel the pain but I didn't stop trying to move, I just kept moving my body as much as I could before the pain was too much and I stopped.
I heard I noise coming from Erza's bed, and I see Erza starting to wake up. Erza gave a tired yawn before blinking a few times and looking over to me, once she saw me she froze. We just stare at one another for a few seconds before Erza jumped off her bed and into my bed with her arms open. I caught her in my arms and ignored the pain that came when I did it. I could hear her start to cry and I just started to pet her back, to try to calm her down.
We just stayed like this for a few minutes before her crying started to just become sniffles. I just held her in my arms and long as she needs me to hold her before she let me go. "You are alive." Erza said in a whisper and I just gave her a smile at that before she hugged me again.
"Yeah, I'm alive and not going anywhere." I said back to her before I saw Luna starting to wake up. Luna looks up at us before she also froze and before I knew it, she slammed into us with the biggest hug. I just held both of them in my arms before they let me go.
"Hey, Luna do you know how long we were out for." Luna looks up at me before thinking over the question I gave her. After a few seconds before she finally gets the answer.
"About a day, I mean like 24 hours." Luna answered me, so we were out for a whole day. I wonder how long we need to stay in bed before I heard someone open the door again. The person that came in was Hina herself in the same red dress on and with a maid behind her. She and the maid started walking up to us with a smile on her and the maid with two bags.
"I'm glad you two are alright." Hina said in a soft voice before she pointed at the maid. The maid started the walk up to us before she headed us the bags and I could feel the money. "Now we will let you two rest." Hina said before leaving the room with her maid behind her.
"What should we do in the meantime." I ask out loud looking over to Erza and Luna. Both of them started to think over the question and what they could do. After a few minutes, we came up with nothing to do to pass the time. We nothing to do we decided to just talk to one another for the time being.
After a few hours, we were finally good enough to be able to go back to the guild. That just what we did, we started going back to the guild with everything with had with us and the money from killing the monster. I have to say the trains are evil things and need to be destroyed, but I knew it would never happen to my sadness. While walking, I was thinking of a way to get Erza some armor for her to use when she fights.
After a few minutes we were finally at the guild and opening the door there was no fighting. Everyone was calm as hell, what just happened and why is everyone so calm. I look over to Erza to see that, she also didn't over what is happening and why everyone is calm but we started to walk in.
Once everyone saw us walking in, everyone stood up before running at us and dogpiling us to the ground. Everyone started to shout about how we are okay and they are alive, what the hell is going on right now. I look up to see Makarov walking to us and maybe he can explain what is going on with everyone.
"Master Makarov what is going on." Erza asks Makarov in a nervous voice and I couldn't help but feel nervous as well.
"The quest you two took, was support to be a low S class quest." Makarov explains and my eyes went wide in horror over what I heard from him. We went on an S class quest without knowing it, I agreed to go on that quest. I get Erza hurt, I get her hurt so bad and I'm supposed to be the big brother, I'm supposed to protect her from this. But I failed and get her hurt but at worst maybe get her killed if I didn't get back up.
I fell down on my knees and I could feel myself starting to hyperventilate. I couldn't hear anything anymore, I just heard my breath in my head and I could see everything started going black. I felt someone's hand on my back, I snapped up to see Makarov himself. Makarov started to gently drag me away from everyone, and we started the walk to his office. After a few seconds of walking, we were finally at his office and once we were in, Makarov sat me down.
"Talk to me." I look up to Makarov with my eyes full of fear and horror. Makarov gave me a worried look before he gently put his hand on my back.
I started to explain everything that happens during the quest. I explain how everything went down and how the fight went. I told him about, how the Monster could make three of itself and how I fought two of them. I told him about, How the two dogs get me on the ground in the pool of my blood before they attacked Erza. I told him how I get up to win the fight.
"I agreed to take the quest, I get her hurt." I said in fear before taking a deep breath and continuing to say. "I'm the big brother, I'm supposed to keep her away from things she can't win but I failed. What if I didn't get up, what if she gets killed and it would be all my fault." Over everything I told him, Makarov didn't say a word.
"Everyone makes mistakes over their life." Makarov begins to say after a long pause. "No matter who you are or what you are, everyone makes mistakes. Is a way of life, and that how we learn from them. If we never learn from them, we can never become better but from learning from our mistakes, we can become better." Makarov said before taking his hand away from my back. I stayed quiet for a few minutes before I nodded at him and Makarov broke into a smile.
I started to walk out of the office and went down to everyone. Everyone was having a good time like normal, I look around to see Erza with Luna. I could see that they were having a good time with everyone. I felt someone bump into me and I look at the person. A very tall and muscular young man with orange eyes, his blond hair is slicked back. Its numerous spiky strands pointing backward, though some fall down in a small tuft on his forehead. He has a distinct lightning bolt-shaped scar on his right eye. Laxus Dreyar was i front of me and trying to stare me down, but I only stared back at him.
Neither one of us back down from the staring, I didn't know how long we stayed like this but it felt long. After a few more seconds, Laxus was the first one to stop the stare down before walking away from me. I just stared at Laxus back while he walked away, I just hope that nothing bad happens after this. I started to walk down to everyone, once I was down I walked to Erza and Luna. They were sitting with Cana, Natsu, and Happy.
I could see Happy trying to give Luna a raw fish from his hands, and Luna avoided it. I couldn't blame her, I have told her that raw fish is not for her and I think I maybe have been a bad idea. It only took me about a few seconds before I was close to them and sat down beside Erza. Erza looks up at me with her eyes filled with worry but I only gave her a smile to calm her down and a pet on her head.
"I'm okay now." Erza didn't seem to believe me but she nodded. I felt someone snuggle into my shoulder and I look to see Luna. I started petting her over the head and she gives an approved purr at that. I smile at her before seeing Natsu and Happy arguing over what is better, raw fish or cooked fish. It felt nice to be back here with everyone but even if everyone was a little crazy.
I wonder what I'm going to do tomorrow and if I should take a quest again. I mean, I almost died today so maybe a day off from going on a quest. But the peace couldn't last long before I heard a fight began like normal. I look over to see Erza and Mirajane were about to get into a fight, wait when did Erza leave my side.
I started to walk away to a safe place before they could start the fight. After walking away to a place where I felt safe I sat down with Luna. After a sat down, I could hear the fight between Erza and Mirajane start. I could hear things start to break and people joining the fight but I felt safe where I was.
A Few days have pash after the quest with I and Erza fully heal and moving. I have to say that Wendy's healing magic is great to have when you get hurt. After what happened with the S class quest, Erza started to as Makarov if the quest was the right class. No one could blame her for that and it never hurt to be safe but other than that everything was going like normal.
While walking to the guild with Luna on my shoulder, I thought about going shopping for just stuff I might need. Yeah, that a good idea for what to do today with Luna, now with the idea in my head I started walking into the shopping area. It only took me about five minutes to get to where I needed to be. I started to look around every one of the shops and just look if I would need anything from them.
An idea came to the mind of my thought, and that would be to get Erza some armor for her to fight in. I started walking to the nearby blacksmith and after a few minutes, I found a blacksmith shop and walked in. While walking to the counter, I could see many different weapons and armor around the shop. I get to the counter and my surprise, a person, and to the counter from a back door.
"Hey, what can I do for you today." The owner asks me and I already knew what I was going to ask for.
" I would like to have armor that has dark red predominantly but also sports orange and black parts, with the first ones being shaped like flames and the second resembling Dragon's limbs." I begin to say to him before continuing to say. "It's basically made up of three different parts: the revealing breastplate with Dragon-like wings attached to it, the orange gauntlets, and the Dragon claw-shaped greave. Also Flame Resistance: This armor lowers the destructive power of flame attacks by 50%" I finish saying to the man before he nodded and started getting to work on the armor.
"This will take a few hours so come back later." I nodded before walking out of the shop and to a book shop. While I shop I could buy a Requip book for Erza to read and learn from. It didn't take a long time before I came to the book shop and went in. Once I was inside, I immediately went to look for all the Requip books they could have. I started to take everything they had on Requip magic or anything else and once I had everything I needed, I started to walk to the counter.
I buy every one of them before I walked out of the shop, and before I started to walk back to my house. Maybe if I take a job, the armor would have me doing something while I waited for the armor. Once I was home and dropped off the books, I started to walk to the guild with Luna on my shoulder. I don't if I should ask her why she almost everything we walk, she on my shoulder instead of flying or walking herself. But I didn't mind it, so why ask a pointless question if I didn't care so much.
After a few minutes of walking I was finally at eh guild, and like normal someone came flying out of the guild. I could behind me to see a grown-ass man. The man is initially portrayed as a slim, mildly muscular man of average height with short, straight, slicked-back dark blue hair. He has linear dark eyebrows, dark eyes, and a prominent nose with a flat, rectangular front. The lower part of his face is covered in quite a large amount of stubble, which includes a thin mustache. This was Macao Conbolt behind me and I look into the guild to see that Erza had punched him.
I decided to walk up to Macao and pick him up before walking into the guild with Macao on my back. While walking, I could that everyone was fighting like normal and I don't know if that a bad or a good thing. I look around to find a place to sat him down before I saw a person waving with his hand in the air. A man of average height, distinguishable by his brown hair, which is kept in an ostentatious pompadour-like style that protrudes frontwards from the top of his head in a large, curly, and fluffy tuft. This is Wakaba Mine and once I was close to him and sat Macao down beside him before I walked away from them.
I started walking to the quest board, to look for any jobs, that I could take while waiting for Erza's armor to be done. After a few minutes of looking, and I finally found a job that I could take and was a good reward for the job. A town wants someone to take out ten Vulcans and the reward is 400,000 jewels for a job well done. The best part is that the town is only a twenty-minute of walking to the town and I don't need to be on the demon train.
I didn't need to go home and pack my bag for the walk. I just started to walk to the town with Luna was confused over why we didn't do home like normal. I explain to her that the town was only a twenty-minute walk from where we are and she nodded in understanding. While walking I was thinking about the best way to deal with the ten Vulcans that I was going to fight. I know that I have become stronger since the first day I came to this world and I think I could beat ten Vulcans.
If I could find a river of water it could make it easier than without the river of water. But if there is no water to be found, I would need a good plan to fight them without the water to help me. I would be a good idea if I could get them in two different groups of five so that I could take them on. Yeah, I could do that to make them into a group of five and after I'm done with them I could take on the other group. Now with a plan, I look up to see that I'm almost at the town in about five minutes and I have to say it was fast.
After about five minutes of walking, I was finally in the town. I started to look around the town to see what they have in the town. I was kinda hungry for some food so time to look for a place to eat. It only took me about three minutes to find a pålace to eat at before I welkin and sat down on a sit. After a few minutes, a waiter finally came to take my order and after I ordered my food before the waiter started to walk away.
While waiting for the food I could feel someone was watching me from behind my back but I didn't want to turn around to make them know than I know. But what should I do while they or one was watching me, an idea came to my mind so I petted Luna on her back. Luna turns around to look at me before I came down with my head to her ear and whispered to her about the person watching us.
Luna nodded at me before she started to climes up my body before she sat down on my head. She started to look around the whole place before I felt her stopped moving and started to climes down from my head. "He's at the end of the right side of this place." Luna whispered to me before I nodded at her.
"Keep an eye on him and pet my head if he starts to move." Luna nodded before she climes back onto my head and we started to move out. Once I started to move out, Luna started to pet my head. I heard the person that was watching us start to follow us out of the place. I have to say to hear this good is a lucky thing to have when you need it.
I look over my shoulder to see a guy with light skin, narrow brown eyes and he has shoulder-length black hair tied in a spiky ponytail. He wears a short-sleeved grey jacket with green-edged sleeves and under which is a green-lined mesh armor T-shirt. He also wears brown pants, a pair of silver hoop earrings. I look up to Luna to see if it was him and she seems to understand what I want to know and she nodded.
I started to walk faster than normal before I turn a corner before I hid from the man. The man turn the same corner before I saw the worry over the fact he couldn't find me and before he knew it I attacked him. I jump out before I slammed him into the ground and putting him in an arm-lock. The man groans in pain over the arm-lock and I look up to see that people were watching and seeing what was going to happen.
"Why are to following me and give me a good reason to not break your arm like a pretzel." I said in a warning whisper and the man seems to have understood the warning. After a few seconds, I finally let the man go and the man gets up with a grunt before sending me a glare.
"That was not nice."
"Fuck you."
The man glare at me for what I side but I couldn't find the care to glare at him back.
"I guess you want to know why I followed you right." The man stated before I gave him a nod. "My name is Shika and I'm from the guild Pegasus and I'm here for the same quest you have." Wait whar, he's here for the same quest I have to do and he is was Pegasus guild.
"I guess you know the person we will meet." I said and he nodded before we started to walk to the meeting place. While walking neither one of us tried to talk to one other while walking. I guess it was the fact I attacked him before but I didn't know him so I was right to attack him. It only took us a few minutes before we were at the meeting place for the man we would meet. And of course, the meeting place was a big house, why would I think it was anything else.
We open the door and started to walk into the house and it was all pretty too. While walking I was looking around the place to see if anything was off with this place. But for the love of God, I couldn't find anything wrong with this place. After a few minutes, we were finally at the meeting place so we open the door to see the man we are meeting standing close to a window.
"You too are finally here." The man said but before I could say anything the man started to talk again. "You two don't need to know my name to work right." So this man is a dick. "You two are here to take out some Vulcan and I will give you a map of where they are. So get out." The man said before we started to out out of the room.
What the hell is wrong with this guy to say that to something who is working for you. I mean you don't need to be nice but you don't need to be a big dick about it neither. But I can't think about it right now because right now I need to get a job done and get home. We started to walk to the place where the Vulcans and still no taking between us.
While walking I started to look around the place to know where things are and how big they are. The Shika guy was looking around the place as well and I could see on his face that he was thinking over something. I didn't care enough to ask what he was thinking and just kept walking as I did before.
"Hey, Shika what type of magic do you use." Shika turns his head to me and just stares at me.
"I use Wind makes magic." He said and I just nodded at me. "What type o magic do you use." He asks.
"I'm a Water Dragonslayer." I said back to him and ignored the shock on his face.
We continue to walk after that and no more talking after that. After a minute, I heard something that came from the place the Vulcans were and so I stop walking. Shika look over at me and I could see the confusion over why I stopped but I ignored him.
"I can hear them." I said in a whisper and my voice was tents. I could see that Shika had stiffened over what I said before he started walking to my back. We started to walk slowly and after a few minutes, we found them. I could see all ten of the Vulcans all together and I started to look around to see if anything was out of place.
"I have a plan." Shika turns his head to me before I continue to say. "I taker on five of them and to take on the other five of them." I could see that he nodded at the plan before we started to walk down closer to them.
"Wind makes: Wind sword." A wind-like sword was summoned into the hand of Shika before he started to attack the Vulcans.
"Water dragon's roar." The attack hit five of the Vulcan before sending them away from the other five. I ran after them and I think they were far enough from the other five Vulcan but before I could think more about it I was attacked with a punch. I jump up and put my hands on the first Vulcans arm before I kicked him in the face and jump away from him. The second Vulcan tries to kick me but I jump to the side before I surround my hands in water and punch him in the stomach.
I look up to see all five of them looking at me and I could only grin at that. I think I will only use my fist to beat them all and no magic to make this harder on me so I surrounded my hands in water. I and the Vulcan ran at ane other before I jump up and behind them before I threw a punch at the fourth Vulcan. I jump back from a kick from the fifth Vulcan before I kick the fifth Vulcan in the leg and give him an uppercut and kicking him away. The fifth Vulcan fell back onto the ground before I jump up on the fifth Vulcan and started a flurry of punches at the fifth Vulcan place.
After a few seconds of throwing punches, I stop to dodges and attack from the fourth. Before I knew it the third and second Vulcans started to send a flurry of punches at me. I dodge or blocked all of them before I jumped back a few feet and get hit from behind by the first Vulcan and slammed me to the ground. I turn around as fast as I could and blocked a fist from the first Vulcan and slammed my leg on the back of the first Vulcan's head. The attack sends the first Vulcan flying away from us before I ran at the second Vulcan but before I could make it the fifth Vulcan slammed its body into me.
I look up to see the fifth Vulcan covered in blood around its face but I ump right at it and send a flurry of punches and kicks. The fifth Vulcan couldn't keep up with my attacks before my final attack knocked it out and sending it flying into a tree. I jump away from an attack from the second Vulcan but I dodge it and returned it with my own punch sending the second Vulcan flying away. I jump up in the air before I started to spin in the air and slammed my feet onto the second Vulcans head and knocking it out cold.
I never saw the punch from the third Vulcan come and hit me on the face and send me flying. I stopped myself by using my hands and stopped but once I stopped I at attack by the fourth Vulcan and slammed to the ground. The fourth Vulcan took a hold of my leg and started to slam me over and over again to the ground. I kick the fourth Vulcans arm to get free and jump away from it before I started to take some deep breaths and glaring at the Vulcans that were left. I ran at the fourth Vulcan and started to send a flurry of punches as fast as I could before sending a powerful kick to the face and making the fourth Vulcan go out cold. I didn't get time to take a breath before I was attacked with a powerful punch from the second Vulcan and slammed to the ground by the third Vulcan. I didn't turn around fast enough to block the flurries of punches the third Vulcan started to send at me.
I kick the feet out of the third Vulcan making it fall down before I jump away from the third Vulcan. I ran at the third and send a powerful kick at the third Vulcan face and was hard enough to slam the third Vulcan into the ground and knocking it out cold. I turn around to look over to the second Vulcan that was left and I could see the fear in its eyes. Before the Vulcan could run, I was in front of the Vulcan before I send a powerful punch at it and sending it flying into a big rock.
Before the Vulcan could get up, I ran at him with everything I had. Once I was close enough to the Vulcan I started to send a flurry of punches and kicks at it. The Vulcan couldn't block or dodge any of the attacks before I send my final attack at it. I put everything I had in this punch before the punch hit the face of the final Vulcan and knocking it out.
I started to look around to see if I miss anything before I started to look me over and to see I was almost fine. I just had some bruises and some blood coming out of me but other than that I'm fine. I started to walk back to the place where we find the Vulcans to see how the Shika guy was doing with them. It only took me about two or three minutes of walking before I was at the same place.
I felt my heart stop when I look over the whole place to see the Vulcan body part around the whole place. It was blood everywhere and body parts everywhere and nothing was green anymore. I turn my head to Shika to see that he was covered in the blood of the Vulcans and some part of their body.
"Hey, man good job/Wind makes: Wind sword." Before I could finish what I was about to say, I felt something stab me through my stomach. I cough out a clump of blood and I look down to see the wind sword that Shika had use, was through my stomach. I look up to meet Shika's happy smile but the smile was not normal it was full of evil.
