Daya: ek hi close huyi hai kya?????...matlab itne der mai ek hi tho phone aaya hai……
Abhijeet (in casual tone): yaar…….sirf ek hi tho hai partner mission mai……
Daya (in shock): matlab sirf tum dono……. (Abhijeet nodded in yes)…..yeh bahot ajeeb hai…..waise wo kahan ke officer hai…..????
Abhijeet: usski abhi tak posting nahi huyi hai……(Daya looked at him in confusion)….wo tho sirf 22 saal ki hai…..ussne hi tho yeh mission propose ki hai……training mai aur exams mai top ki hai……infact usske posting choice bhi usske haath mai hai……ussko Mumbai mai kaam kar ne ki bahot mann hai…..issliye wo yehi aayegi…..ab tho hospital mai hai…..tum mujh se keha ke bheja tha ki mai koi herogiri na dikhao par pura herogiri tho ussne hi ki hai……ab uss wajase hospital mai padi hai…..
Daya (with laugh): ab tere saath reha ne ka kuch tho asar hoga na……
Abhijeet: usske saath reha ke mai hi badala hu…..wo tho waise hi hai……kafi intelligent hai…aur bahadur bhi……
Daya could sense the pride in his voice……he could feel the concern, anger, care in his eyes…..they somehow reached their destination……Daya helped Abhijeet to settle in couch……he prepared a light food for Abhijeet……with little chit-chat both had the food……then Daya got a call from bureau regarding the arrival of DCP……he gave lots of instruction to him and about to leave……
Abhijeet: Daya……sham ko yehi aaja na……ek jaruri kaam hai……
Daya nodded in positive……then he started his journey towards bureau……whole way he was wondering about Abhijeet's change in behavior which he himself admitted…….his mind was occupied by the thoughts of the unknown person……he didn't even know the name of the person……but somewhere he felt sooth inside his seeing his buddy like this…….
In the evening……..
Daya entered the house without making any sound as he thought that Abhijeet might be sleeping…..but to his surprise Abhijeet was sitting in the couch seems to be well dressed…….
Daya: boss…..kahi jaa rahe ho…….
Abhijeet: haan…..hum jaa rahe hai…..
He took a cover and handed it to Daya…….
Abhijeet: jao…aur jaldi se yeh pehan ke aao……
Daya nodded and went inside the room to change the dress…….after sometime he came out wearing the suit…….he was looking damn handsome in that black and blue combo suit…….
Abhijeet: bahot acche lag rahe ho……chalo jaldi chal the hai…..
Daya (in confusion): lekin kahan boss?????
Abhijeet: wo mai tume raaste mai baatha tha hu……ab jaise mai keha raha hu waise karo…..chalo….
Daya nodded in disappointment……Abhijeet was saying the direction and daya was just turning the steering accordingly…….after covering some distance Daya could sense the upcoming area…..
Daya: boss…….yahan paye tho…..
Abhijeet: chup chap chalo gaadi…..
Daya frowned a bit……yes, what he guessed was right…….soon they reached the destination……
Daya (in restless tone): boss…..hum yahan kyu aaye hai…….
Abhijeet (in causal tone): obviously tere shaadi pakki kar ne aaye hai……
Daya: par boss……tum……
Abhijeet (in low tone): kya hua tum abhi bhi naraz ho usse…..dekho tum…..
Daya (interrupted): boss……baat naraz hone ka nahi hai……bas wo…..
He felt loss of words……he know he was not angry any more…….he saw guilt in her eyes…..she was not like purbi……she always admired his and Abhijeet's bond…….yes, she did a big mistake……but she realized it too…….so how could he remain angry……
Abhijeet: phir kya…..
Daya: mai tho abhi tak usse apna dil ke baat bathaya tak nahi…..aur tum…..
Abhijeet: accha…..tume straight 60 th anniversary celebrate kar ne ka irada hai kya?????…… (Daya gave a stern look)…..aur nahi tho kya……tumare baathane tak ka wait nahi kar sakthe……
Daya (in tease): tum tho aise bol rahe ho jaise tum ne propose kar ke shaadi bhi kar liya……tum bhi tho same step mai ho…..
Abhijeet: yahan baat tumare life ka horaha hai…..tum baat ko ghumao mat…..
Abhijeet moved forward and pressed the calling bell……Daya stood near Abhjeet in nervousness…..Shreya's father came and opened the door……
Shreya's father: aree……tum dono……andar aao…..
They both entered inside…….
S.father: mission se kab aaye ho……aur yeh chot……
Abhijeet: aaj hi aaya maine…..yeh chot to bas aise hi…..
S.father: aise hi…..apna dhyaan rakha karo beta……..
S.mother: Daya aaj tho tumare birthday hai na……happy birthday beta…..
He took the blessings of both…….
S.father: waise tum dono Shreya se mil ne aaye the kya……wo tho bureau se abhi tak wapas nahi hai…….
Abhijeet (in soft tone): wo uncle……hum aap dono se hi mil ne aaye hai….
S.father: hum se…..kya baat hai beta……
Abhijeet through eyes asked Daya to talk……..Daya closed his eyes for once and took a deep breathe……
Daya (in fresh tone): mai Shreya se bahot pyaar kar tha hu aur usse shaadi kar na chatha hu…..wo bhi aap dono ke ashirwaad ke saath……
Shreya's parents became somewhat shock with the sudden request…….they both exchanged a glance…….and smiled…..
S.mother: agar tumare jaise pati Shreya ko milegi tho hum mana kaise karege…..waise Shreya ne kya kaha……kissne pehale propose ki…..
Daya (in embrassed tone): wo uss se tho maine abhi tak iss baare mai baat hi nahi kiya hai……
S.father: aree Daya…….fikar mat karo……tum tho atleast hum se aake baat kar rahe ho…..mai tho kuch bhi nahi kiya tha……shreya ke maa ne hi propose ki……dono ghar mai baat ki thi…..mai tho bas mandap mai baith ke shaadi kiya……
All started to laugh…….shreya who was at the doorstep heard everything……she was overwhelmed as she thought she lost her love……..but no…….she started to dance in happiness……..then calming her emotions she entered the home as if she was unaware of their presence……
Shreya: sir……aap dono……iss wakt……kuch kaam tha……
Both gave a look to each other…….Daya gulped his saliva……he came her Shreya……she looked at him while suppressing her excitement…….
Daya: Shreya……wo mai……actually……wo……
Abhijeet moved his head in disappointment…….
Abhijeet (murmured): baki cheezo mai tho mujh se bikul alag…….lekin iss mai tho bikul mujh paye gaya hai……
Shreya looked at him with the hope……..but he couldn't……..shreya lost her patience………
Shreya: mai bhi aap se bahot pyaar kart hi hu……aur aap se hi shaadi kar na chathi hu……
Daya looked at her in shock……
Shreya: sir……soo sorry mujh se raha nahi gayi……
All laughed at her ethics……Daya looked down shyly…….after that they had the dinner together with some chit-chats……after that the duo left to home happily……
Abhijeet's home...
Daya: boss……mujhe tho vishwaas hi nahi horaha hai yaar…….tum ne tho kaamal kar diya…..
Abhijeet: freddy ko jaise pinch kiya waise hi tume bhi pinch karu……
Daya: nahi….nahi…..usske koi jaruraat nahi……boss…..tum bhi tarika se baat karo na…..saath mai shaadi kar the hai…..
Abhijeet: bikul nahi…..agar saath mai karege tho enjoy kaise karege ek dusre ke shaadi…..issliye tum phehale shaadi karo…..mera tho baat mai hojayega…..accha ab mujhe bahot needh aaraha hai…..tum bhi ghar jao……kal bureau bhi tho jaana hai……
Daya: mai yehi reha ne wala hu……jab tak tumare yeh haath theek nahi hojaatha mai yehi rahuga……
Abhijeet was about say something…….
Daya (interrupted): mai tumse puch nahi raha hu…sirf baatha raha hu……yeh mera bhi ghar hai…..mujhe tum se puch ne ke koi jaruraat nahi hai…..
Then he marched towards the guest room leaving a smiling Abhijeet behind……
finally...dareya's marriage is going to happen...will all these happiness presist in our duo's life??????...
