Chapter II
A Long time ago in a galaxy far far away
Narrator: "The Republic forces walked into a Separatist trap, however when all hope seemed lost. The mysterious Ghost fleet, one of many sightings by both sides appear and seemingly attacks the Separatist forces with sheer ferocity and brutality not seen since the founding of the Republic. Padawan Ahoska Tano and Blue squadron have been separated in the confusion, but help is arriving sooner than later."
"This Blue 3!, got a Vulture on my tail!" shouted Blue 3 into the coms, as he tried to dodge a Vulture droid. "Hang on Blue 3!" shouted Ahsoka as she tried to reach her wingman, only to hear his screaming as he was sent spiraling out of control as a Vulture droid struck his main engine. Then an Explosion occurred as another Separatist warship was sent plumanting to Ryloth's surface. {Who are these guys? None of their ships are pulling up in our databases.} thought Ahsoka as she tried to avoid laser fire. Suddenly a Vulture droid appeared behind her R7-A7 beeped loudly warning her, but it was too late a stray shot from the Vulture droid struck her wing, Ahsoka struggled to remain stable, as the Vulture droid lined up to take another shot. A Green blaster bolt struck the Vulture droid, then another and another till the droid exploded in half.
"Wha? Huh?" Ashoka was confused when her thoughts were cut off by a screaming sound and she looked up as several strange starfighters flew by taking out Vulture and Hyena droid starfighters and bombers left and right. "Commander, who are these guys?" asked Blue 6, "Don't know but they saved our skins and took out the clankers." replied Blue 7. Suddenly Ashoka's communicator came to life, with a beeping "R7 patch it through" she ordered, the astro droid who beeped and did as she commanded. "Come in, Republic fighter squadron, do you read me?, this Lieutenant Hask of the 55th Eternal "Asap" Fighter squadron." spoke a female voice with an odd ascent. "We hear you Lieutenant Hask, this Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano. I would like to thank you for saving my boys and I." relied Ahsoka reluctantly, she didn't know who these people were but Jedi are always open to help. "We understand your caution and I can ensure our focus is on the Separatist our Empress views them more of a threat than your Republic." replied Lieutenant Hask. "Perhaps we can return to our flagship, my master..err Jedi general Anakin Skywalker would like to meet you." replied Ahsoka Tano. There was a pause before a reply "Very well my commander has already planned to contact your forces." replied Lieutenant Hask as the mysterious fighters formed up alongside the remaining Blue Squadron V-19 fighters.
Meanwhile on the Resolute
"General Skywalker, those ships match the intercepted Separatist communications about mysterious Ghost ships attacking their forces; several worlds have gone dark." spoke up Admiral Wullf Yularen. Anakin rubbed his chin, "They seem to be on our side..however something is vaguely familiar about those ships." he replied as he stared at the strange fleet. "General, Blue Squadron is returning; apparently they're not alone; they were saved by the 55th Eternal "Asap" Fighter squadron. They're escorting them right now." spoke a clone officer. Anakin dismissed him and turned to Yularen, "Well admiral let's go meet our guest, have Captain Rex meet us in the hangar." "Very good sir I will see to it personally." replied the admiral. The two made their way to the hangar where captain Rex and several clones of the 501st greeted them "Sir, we await your orders." spoke Rex with a slauate. "Easy Rex we don't know who these people are, so let's not try and start a war." Spoke Anakin. Before either could speak a loud scream was heard and everyone turned to several seven strange starfighters hovering and landing, their wings were shaped outward with four smaller wings in the rear, two on top and two on the bottom. The smaller wings folded. Blue squadron landed next to them.
Anakin, Rex, and Yularen made their way cautiously to Blue Squadron, Ahoska was there checking up on her men she seemed dejected. Anakin walked over to Ahoska "Losing men isn't easy." he spoke up with a reassuring hand on her shoulder. She smiled and noticed a group of seven pilots walking over to them, They wore black armor, with a matching bodysuit underneath and a helmet with two red visors and the respirator was shaped into a frown, they had markings that to Anakin looked like Sith markings he seen in the Temple but he shook his head as the commander he assumed a female by the looks of it removed their helmet. Revealing a blue skinned woman, with red eyes and her head was covered by a black headcovering. She stepped forward and stood at attention with the other pilots snapping to attention as well. "Whoever they are, they are well disciplined" observed Yularen. "Indeed. The Eternal Empire values discipline, over an unruly mob." spoke the female in a military style tone, before she snapped to attention. "Lieutenant Jula Hask, of the 55th Eternal "Asap" Fighter Squadron." she spoke, Anakin seemed uncomfortable with the blue skinned female's rigid discipline. "Forgive General Skywalker, the Republic hasn't been in a war in decades therefore the Jedi are not used to rigid military discipline" Spoke up Admiral Yularen. Hask stood down, "I apologized" she spoke as nodded respectfully to Anakin. "No need to apologize like the Admiral said, we're not used to rigid discipline like this." he spoke. Suddenly an astro droid appeared beeping kind of aggressively, "What is it IO-7?" asked Hask, the droid beeped again. "Sir it appears Lord Imperius is waiting for our report." spoke of the pilot's another female based on her voice. Anakin, Ahoska, and Yularen were curious as to who this Lord Imperius was, "You don't mind do you?" asked Hask respectfully, Ahsoka and Anakin shared a glance. "None at all, in fact I would like to thank your commander for you...timely assistance." replied Anakian.
Hask nodded at the droid who activated his holoprojector and suddenly a hooded female appeared, Anakin looked closer and could tell she was a Miraluka. "Greetings Republic '' spoke the figure with a respectful bow, "I'am Darth Imperius the Honorable, of the Eternal Sith Council. I can tell you're uneasy but I can assure you we're on the same page. Ryloth must be liberated, and before you ask. NO I do not know Count Dooku in the sense he is a heretic in our Sith Empress view." Spoke the sith, as she paused allowing the information to proceed. "I see..I will have to meet with Master Kenobi and Windu as they're enroute as we speak." replied Anakin as he shared an uneasy glance with Ahoska. To his surprise the sith bowed respectfully, and replied "Take as much time as you need, in fact...I would like to meet with all of you in person on board my flagship the Derriphan." spoke Imperius. Anakin paused as he thought it over he sensed no ill from the sith, after looking at Ahsoka and Rex he spoke. 'I can't promise anything but I will bring it up with Master Kenobi and Windu when they arrive." "Excellent in the meantime, Lieutenant Hask" Hask stood at attention "Yes my lord" replied the Lieutenant. "Remain on the Republic ship..do not cause any trouble and do not get underfoot. Do I make myself clear?" spoke Darth Imperius in a commanding but motherly tone. "Yes my lord." replied Hask with a bow and the communication cut out. Hask turned to Anakin and Ahoksa "My men and I will not get under foot, if you don't mind we will remain here in the hanger." spoke the lieutenant. Anakin nodded, and turned to rex "Captain Rex will remain here with you if you don't mind." Rex sputtered and Ahoska chuckled lightly. "No not at all. Greetings Captain" replied Hask as she saluated Rex, who just nodded back.
