NOTE: I think it's time to give someone to Amy, don't you think? :)

TRIVIA: How about we go along on this treasure hunt? The first one was given in this chapter. How about the second clue?

?-?

Sue smiled, reading the paper. "A Valentine's Day puzzle for you. Never in a million years would I think of this, but you did. It's somewhere special, somewhere we can virtually work together every day." After reading, she looked up. "A treasure hunt?"

Jack smiled and nodded. "Every day this week, you'll get a new clue, well, today you'll get two. And on Valentine's Day you'll get a big surprise." He explained.

"Ooh!" She happily exclaimed, excited for the adventure.

"Where do you think this is?" He asked, pointing to the paper.

Sue looked up, thinking, then she smiled, walking towards the little office they had created. She questioningly pointed towards the door. Barky, who had been sitting near them, woofed.

"GO-AHEAD." He signed in reply.

She smiled wider, and went inside the room. There, she found a heart shaped paper sitting on the keyboard of the computer in the room. Walking to it, she picked it up and looked back at the door, where Jack was now leaning against the frame, Barky next to him.

"'Sometimes the sweetest things come from the coldest places.' Oh, I know where that is. And I can't go there now?" She asked.

Jack shook his head. "Well, you can, but nothing will be there. You have to wait till tomorrow."

Sue sadly nodded, then she smiled. "I really like this adventure. Thank you." She said as she walked out of the room, back into the main part of the house.

"You're welcome. I'm glad you do. I had to think of something special."

"It is. But now I will be hoping it's the next day all week!"

He chuckled, knowing his fiancé. "Tomorrow will come, sooner than you know it."

She nodded. "I know."

"Now, how about we go make dinner together." He asked.

She smiled widely. "I like that! How about something heart shaped?"

"I'm sorry, I don't know how to make heart shaped food." Jack replied, shaking his head.

Sue smiled widely as they walked into the kitchen. "Oh, but I do."

?-?

"What do you want to do for Valentine's Day?" Bob asked, he and Carla sitting in the kitchen, doing nothing in particular.

She shrugged. "There's not much we can do. Either the places are closed, or I don't feel comfortable going there."

"But we can make our own fun." He suggested.

"What do you propose?" She asked.

Bob looked up, thinking. "I don't know, maybe we can play games, watch a mushy romantic movie, have dinner."

"You'd do that for me?"

"Do what? He asked.

"Watch a mushy romantic movie." She clarified.

He smiled. "For you, I'd watch 5 mushy movies, just don't count on it every day!"

Carla laughed. "Don't worry! Thank you."

"I only have one stipulation."

"Oh?"

"That sometimes we watch a manly movie." He replied.

She smiled. "You have a deal."

"Thank you." He replied. "So how about Indiana Jones?"

"Hey!" She replied, swatting him.

"What? There's romance in there!" Bob reasoned.

"And also manly adventures. Not a romantic Valentine's Day movie in the least! It should be something classic, romance seething out of its' pores." Carla replied passionately. Bob looked at her in shock and disgust. She glared at him in response. "Come on, you can never say you wished you have that kind of love?"

"Oh, but I do." He replied, smiling, pulling his chair closer to hers. "With you."

She sweetly smiled at him. "Aw, that's so sweet!"

"So can we have Indiana Jones?" He quietly asked.

Before he could finish uttering the words, she let out a breath of disgust and got up. "You! We will watch Sleepless In Seattle and nothing less!" She exclaimed, then left the room.

Bob chuckled. "Fine with me, as long as I'm with you." He said to himself.

?-?

Amy was sitting on a park bench with her steaming hot cup of tea, happily enjoying her day off, and the brisk cool winter air. It was good to get out, even if it was cold outside. She couldn't wait for summer, though. Thinking of the warm summer sunshine, she took a sip, and imagined herself on a beach.

"Do you mind if I sit on the other side of this bench? All the others are taken." A man said to her, unknowing she was Deaf. Not getting a response, he walked about a foot closer, which put him in her peripheral vision. Seeing movement, she looked at him. "Do you mind if I sit here?" He asked again.

Being able to read his lips because he wasn't wearing a mask due to being outdoors and far enough away, she nodded, waving for him to sit at the other end of the long bench.

"Thanks." He said, sitting down. "Nice day, huh?" He asked. Not getting a reply because Amy was looking at a nearby Mother and son play in the snow, he moved a few inches towards her. Feeling the movement, she looked at him. "I was talking, and I guess you didn't hear me."

"SORRY, ME DEAF." She signed, hoping he would understand what she was trying to say.

"OH-I-SEE." He replied.

Shocked and surprised, she looked at him with wide eyes. "YOU KNOW ASL YOU?"

He nodded. "MY SISTER DEAF. MY NAME BRIAN."

"OH-I-SEE." She replied. "MY NAME AMY. NICE MEET YOU!"

The two smiled at each other, signing the afternoon away.
