College entrance exams are finally over! So that ended around three weeks ago. I don't want to think about chemicals, their structures, and their functions anymore. I just want to be happy. Procrastinating made me happy, so yeah.

Review corner:

AyakiTz: Here's another one, grammar error is inevitable as is the death of a comic book character (i.e. incredibly fixable).

ROCuevas: Thenks!

decidueye1234: Thanks~

Perorocino: Here's the update, maybe you should make an account to get notifications or something.

Testarossacain: Oh the quality will probably go downhill from here.

I own what I own, which is three volumes of the light novel Reincarnated as a Sword, really do recommend both the ln and the manga, they're a good read.

After the horrendous one night camping trip to the large lake Saiko where she, thankfully, did get some good nights rest, the group of students had finally reached back into the town of Ryoukuu.

There was a morning events sadly, first of which was a light exercise to warm themselves, then the principal gave a short speech and before they departed back to the school grounds, they had to take down the tents that they had only used for a single night.

Then they made their way back, though this time there were some pit stops to patten down the run time of their trip and to make it right as the sun sets.

As all field trips do, the trip ended with them all being dropped back on the school where the trip itself had begun, where the parents and families of the students were awaiting their return to pick them up and return them to their respective homes.

Sadly her Onii-chan was unable to welcome her return to the city which was under her protection, as he already had prior plans with his highschool friends in order to work on a group assignment of some sorts. Apparently it was something about biology and how mitochondria was the powerhouse of the cells or something like that.

Not that she actually needed someone to pick her up, she usually went to and returned from theis establishments by herself after all. Which might seem like a hazard to some, a thirteen year old girl going around alone in a bustling city was a prime victim for kidnapping and the sorts after all.

But with Eyesmon constantly in her shadows, something like your regular old street thug wasn't really much of a problem. And that wasn't really mentioning her own combat capabilities.

So it was a surprise for her to see that someone that she knew was actually waiting for her in front of the gate of the school.

Waiting at the front of the school gate, was a red haired, fit and prim handsome young man standing around 1,7 meters, or around 5,5 feet for you people who don't use the metric system. His eyes were golden, filled with gentleness yet underlying with a hidden fierceness. His attire was simple, a plain white dress shirt and light grey jeans.

But while his attire was simple, and more importantly incredibly cheap, said plainness of his clothes was something that made his natural looks and charms become something that was incredibly noticeable by the people around him.

Maybe that was why Dukemon was flustered as he was being swarmed by a group of women, if those were the students' mothers then she might have a problem with him.

As the students started to exit the bus and reunited with their family, not knowing of the miserable fate that could have befallen them, her eyes met Dukemon's and she saw the desperation that was in his eyes. She let out a sigh, she was starting to regret going to this school, ever since she had gone to this educational institution she had been getting hit with more and more problems.

She missed the good old days when she would simply stay at home and sit in front of her computer like a hikikomori that she was, waiting for her beloved Onii-chan to come home was something that she would wait for for the entire day after all. She still does that of course, the schedule of a middle schooler is of course far looser than a highschooler after all.

She approached the red haired young man, and said young man used the opportunity that she had given to him. "Ah, sorry! My friend's little sister is here now so I have to leave!" he said quickly as he grabbed her by the arm and dashed away from the group of women who seemed miffed at his departure.

Looking behind, she also saw the yamato nadeshiko and her friend, who were staring hard at Dukemon, and the two now supernatural aware students also staring at her from a good distance away, still looking quite stressed. She also saw glasses from the corner of her vision, and she also saw how he was looking at the yamato nadeshiko and her little group with a strange look.

Which was normal to be fair, the ikemen and gyaru was usually hostile with the class rep after all. Seeing them being passive instead of their usual provocative nature would be quite the strange sight.

"You're famous as usual aren't you Dukemon." she didn't pose it as a question, as it was simply a fact. "As expected of an ikemen." she grumbled the last part under her breath for him to not hear her, though thanks to Dukemon's incredible specs he probably heard it.

As soon as they were quite a ways away from the crowd of women that had swarmed him and into a nearby park, Dukemon melted into one of the many benches. She pulled out her tablet and pressed one of the many icons on the screen, and a translucent blue circle formed around the bench. "Uuh, you know that I don't want to look like this Yggdrasil-sama..." Dukemon said.

She sat next to him, enjoying the view of the setting sun from her seat. "You know you could just change your own human form right?" she said as she started to pile on some more of her work on managing the servers and their traffic on her tablet.

"Also, call me Risu when we're outside."

"You know that I can't do that Yggdrasil-sama."

"Which questions are you answering."

"Uuh, both of them?of course I can change my human form, but since Imperialdramon was the one that designed it it's quite hard to show up with something different." he said with his head in his hands. "It's not like I don't hate interacting with people, I like socializing in fact! But this form really draws too much attention, especially the girls. I would almost always get swarmed everytime I go out and do patrols these days."

"Seems like you're having quite a rough time." she said with a smirk as she continued to fiddle with her tablet. "Just change your form. I'll even tell Imperialdramon to make another form for you."

"N-no! There's no need Yggdrasil-sama!" Dukemon said as he stood up and faced her. She glanced up from her tablet to see his features filled with panic. She raised her eyebrows at his response, and returned her attention back to her tablet and the many characters and numbers that were on the screen.

"I'm sure that he won't mind making another design for you."

"N-no, that part isn't the problem..." he trailed off as he started to stare at nowhere in particular. After knowing him for most of her reincarnated life, she can already tell that he wasn't going to give up this matter.

And she could somewhat understand why he wasn't going to give up on it anyway, so she sees no point in continuing this talk with him.

"You haven't answered my second question Dukemon." she said and stared him straight in his eyes, and she saw his eyes harden and fill with an endless determination. "It is an honor to be given the right to call you by your name Yggdrasil-sama. It truly is. But I cannot in good conscience do that, you are my lord Yggdrasil-sama, and I believe that I have yet achieved anything of note to call you by your name."

She scoffed at his response, but couldn't help but smile. "As expected of a chivalrous knight, you really do embody the concept of honor to a t." as if sensing that something was approaching, she then diverted the matter of their talk. "Now then Dukemon, do be a good knight that you are and bring our upcoming guest."

Hearing her order, the red haired young man's posture became stiff, correcting his positioning so that he was standing upright and with his right hand placed where a normal human heart would be. "It shall be done." he said, as he turned around and walked out of the simple barrier that she had erected.

It only took a minute for Dukemon to return, bringing behind him glasses who seemed to be feeling a mixture of feelings all clearly shown on his face. And as they entered the barrier, she could see that glasses shifted, the moment he passed the barrier he started to look around frantically, as if to find something that seemed to be invisible.

In this case that invisible thing that he was searching for might be her barrier.

His reaction certainly corrected some of her hypothesis that she had about him at least being aware of the existence of the supernatural.

She glanced up from her tablet to nod at Dukemon, who did a slight bow and seemingly left the premise, though in truth he was simply hiding somewhere where he could still reach her at any moment.

"I'm sure you have a lot of questions." she started, still never directing her eyes away from her tablet but still taking note of his stature and reactions. "But I do hope that you are willing to wait for a few more hours."

The glasses wearing black haired boy seemed surprised, probably at her being able to read him like a book. Which to be fair, was something that most people of the supernatural side of the world are able to do, suspicion and paranoia was always something that everyone on that side had.

"H-how did-"

"I'm going to hold a meeting in a few hours. I'll even get someone to pick you all up out of my goodwill."

He frowned, probably at her cutting him off from saying something that was incredibly obvious. "It's really easy to know what you're thinking of knowing. You're really a textbook definition of an open book." he needed a few seconds to process what she had just said, and as soon as he did he attempted to mask his emotions. Something which was to be fair, an incredibly pathetic show that made her giggle a little.

"How do I know that you're telling the truth?" he asked, gripping his backpack's straps tightly.

"You wanted to know about what happened to the class rep and the others last night right? And probably also ask the strange feeling that you just felt as soon as you came here" she stated.

At this point he didn't seem to be surprised at her being able to discern even his reason for approaching her, as he simply nodded albeit he still looked nervous and alarmed.

"Then I'll have to ask you this first." she then proceeded to actually look him in the eye and stared at him, though from his perspective he might also be feeling a suffocating pressure. "Are you prepared to throw away all semblance of normality just for the sake of an old friend who had seemingly all but abandoned you?"

Now that she was looking at him clearly, she could see that he was sweating bullets. His whole body was trembling and his mouth was quivering and he was having difficulty breathing due to the pressure that she had Dukemon emit.

What? There was no way that she could put on a suffocating pressure, even to a normal human that wasn't exposed to the moonlit world, let alone one that was slightly aware and keen of it's existence like the boy in front of her.

Even while trembling and breathing harshly under the immense pressure, glasses bit his lip and answered her question. "K-Kaguya... is... m-my friend." he managed to let the words out of his mouth. "Even if. Even if she doesn't see me as one... I-I promised to always help her!" he shouted the last part with vigor before falling to his knees and breathing even harsher than before.

She snapped her finger, signaling Dukemon to stop and glasses' breathing became even, if still a bit raspy.

"Really only an idiot would throw away their normal life for the sake of a former friend. Though I guess that does fit what I have known of you." she said as she helped him stand up and tapped the empty seat next to her, allowing him to sit.

He was of course nervous to do so, and he was still tense from what she had Dukemon do to him, but did it nonetheless. She grabbed a bottle of water from her backpack and offered it to him, something that he declined as he pulled one of his own and drank from it.

"Sorry about that. It's kind of an initiation thing that a colleague of mine told me to perform whenever I meet a new person that wants to enter this side." she apologized from the bottom of her heart.

She might act like a jerk to others, and is also a jerk even deep down. But she genuinely disliked violence or anything that generally causes pain, especially to children and innocents. She was a pacifist after all, she would only use it whenever it was necessary or if she was forced to.

"Ah, so it was like that… It's fine then. I know that Nagakawa-san didn't mean any harm." he said with a disarming smile, all tenseness leaving his body and he became more relaxed. It was a disarming smile that was similar to her beloved Onii-chan's! Now he's making her feel even more guilty for putting him through the wringer.

"At least feel a bit angry, now you're making me feel bad." she groaned which he responded with a nervous giggle. "You are at least slightly aware of what you're walking into right?" she asked, a bit nervous of his answer.

He nodded, albeit slowly, and started to retell her of his experience of the supernatural. "I… have always been able to see and feel things that doesn't seem to be there. Like a chill when entering an abandoned house or hearing noises from seemingly nowhere. Back at the forest when we were having the test of courage, I felt that something was wrong, even before I saw Amanogawa-san and Hoshikawa-san going down a different path." he shuffled around in his seat as he shared that information.

"It's… it's something like a sixth sense, I guess? As far as I know I've always had it ever since I was born, but whenever I would try to know more about it Kaguya would always stop me." he said as he looked at his hands. "As far as I know, I've always known that there was more to the world. You just confirmed it Nakagawa-san."

"Is that so?" she huffed at him. "Just so you know this side of the world isn't all fun and games like those anime and manga likes to portray them you know. If anything it's much more similar to Maroka Magicia than whatever harem magical slice of life highschool anime that you usually watch." she said.

Once more she stared at him directly in the eye with a grim look. "Are you really sure you want to walk the path that assures certain death just for the sake of a girl that you once know?" glasses still had his head down looking at his hands, he then proceeded to ball them into fists.

"Kaguya isn't just a friend of mine, she's an important person in my life." he said quietly but just enough for her to hear. He then looked up to her, eyes brimming with determination "Even if it means I have to stake my life on it, I'm willing to do it if it could help lessen her burden."

What a kid, he probably hasn't truly understood the actual consequence and danger of crossing over to this side of the world but he was still willing to stake his life on the line just for the sake of a friend. Perhaps he wasn't just 'glasses' after all, he might just be a full blown shounen protagonist of his own.

Does that make her a side character? Well she doesn't really mind as long as she wasn't one that dies in order to motivate the MC to surpass his limits or something. She surely doesn't hope that she was the one that fills the teacher or mentor trope, those ones usually die early in the story.

"You're definitely going to regret this. Jeez what is with you children and throwing yourselves into trouble." she grumbled out and then she proceeded to stand up from her seat. "As I said before, there's going to be a full blown QA session tonight. I'll get someone to kidn- I mean, pick you up tonight without anyone noticing."

"N-Nagakawa-san! What do you mean kidnap!?" he caught her slip of tongue and seemed a bit more nervous and alarmed than cautious. His reaction made her smirk, an action that did not reassure the black haired boy's worry at all, in fact it seemed to have done the opposite.

"Don't worry, don't worry I was just joking." she said, stopping her mouth from saying 'Mostly'."

Just don't forget to have dinner, I'll send someone to pick you up after around 8pm." She was about to leave now that she had said her piece, but the shounen protagonist in the making stopped her before she could do so.

"W-wait Nakagawa-san! I W-what would have you done if I didn't pass that test?" he asked nervously.

"Would have just made it seem like we never meet, anyway I'm on a tight schedule so I'll leave it at that." not giving him any time to ask more questions, she deconstructed her barrier and left the premise.

She didn;t think that a random middle schooler that was a picture perfect representation of a bullying victim would actually have some bite, perhaps the notion of 'it's the quiet ones you should be wary of' is kind of true to some extent. Then again, the boy was also a picture perfect representation of your average underdog anime protagonist, how was she not able to see that till now! Maybe her senses have truly been fried from all the meetings that that damned fox kept forcing her to go.

As soon as she left the park, she felt a presence appear next to her.

"That boy has quite the potential to become a fine knight." Dukemon said and I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow in response. That was quite a strange thing for Dukemon of all people to say, perhaps I'll have to reevaluate what I think of that glasses wearing boy.

Then again, I probably should at least be mindful of anyone that managed to whistand the pure intimidating factor that was Dukemon, especially one that came from a purely civilian background, those people usually are scary.

Every single average school boys that gets dragged into a mess that is even slightly supernatural are usually super strong. And she was not even pulling this out of her ass either! If anything they are the most annoying kind of people to deal with because of their usually simple nature of wishing for a 'normal life' or their dependency on their common sense.

A large reason as to why those kinds of people annoys her would be because they were the kind of person that doesn't want to change their common sense, and sometimes even opting to throw themselves at the slightest sign of danger for ant dumb reason that they could come up with.

While it was indeed pot calling the kettle black because that description somewhat fits her, she would also like to admit that she annoys the hell out of herself. So the point still stands.

But back to actually being shocked because Dukemon just genuinely praised someone. "Well, that's certainly something. To hear you of all people say it… but then again this is you we're talking about. I would have been more surprised if it came out from anyone else if I was being honest."

"Wha! W-what does that mean Yggdrasil-sama!" the red haired male said, his face looking shocked at her comment. Really out of all of her retainers, he's the easiest one to tease or at least the easiest one to let out a genuine reaction instead of admonishing her.

"I mean seriously, imagine if Alpha-chan was the one who said something like that."

At the mention of the black and gold digimon, from the corner of her eyes for the briefest of moments, she saw Dukemon's whole body shiver at the image that she had just presented.

Dukemon then immediately tried to change the subject. "A-anyway! Yggdrasil-sama, I honestly do feel that the boy has some potential."

This time she merely hummed as a sign to let him continue on his explanation as they walked, pulling her tablet out once more to set up a small moving hearing barrier to prevent others from hearing their talk.

Now that she thought about it, Dukemon sure does like to waste energy and funds randomly, either from his loose tongue making her put up a barrier, or his daily splurge of bread that cost more than what she and her Onii-chan would use for a week.

"He was quite brave, something befits a knight." Dukemon started his explanation. "While reckless and undoubtedly foolish, his dedication to his friend was strong. Extremely so. His willingness to aid even the children who undoubtedly disliked him showed incredible kindness and generosity, not to mention forgiveness. If the report that you had sent and my own findings was indeed correct, then perhaps his sharp instincts on all things that are supernatural would aid him and many trials to come."

The digimon in human disguise then took on a thoughtful pose, with a hand in his chin and his eyebrows scrunched. "But while his loyalty is no doubt tied to that friend of his, his inability to confront them or even question them on their reasoning shows that while brave, he fears rejection or something of sort. Should her answers not be as satisfactory as whatever it was that he hoped for, then perhaps that resolve of him might waver or maybe even break entirely."

"So all in all, he is simply a model human being isn't he? Kind, forgiving, loyal, and brave when push comes to shove. Strange how it seemed as if you were praising and yet also admonishing yourself Dukemon." she said tapping away at her digital device with a grin on her face.

In response to her tease, Dukemon coughed on his hand while looking away. But she could still see a slight blush on his cheeks. Clearly, Imperialdramon put quite a lot of effort into making these human avatars.

"Oh well, I guess I'll be more careful of how I treat him." she waved him off, but took note of his comments of the black haired boy. "Let's just get those refreshments for the meeting and be done with it. I need a well deserved nap." Yes, a nap would truly be great for what's to come. Getting those refreshments and finger foods should be done as fast as possible, then she can recharge her Onii-chan battery and take a nap.

Maybe her Onii-chan can give her a lap pillow! Then she can kill two birds with one stone!

And maybe after that she can actually study the dark energy readings that were emanating from that damned shounen protagonist in the making or something. Because of course he has some sort of dark energy locked inside him!

Really, the longer she lived in this world, the more it feels as if this was some sort of crappy story.

Kaguya did not know what to think of her situation.

Out of all things that she was doing on a sunday night, instead of studying for school or perhaps training her body, she was instead standing in front of a shrine which was the strange transfer student's base of operations.

"So this place is that girl's base of operations huh." her pink haired twin tailed companion pointed out and she could only nod while looking at the entrance of the shrine in front of her.

Even now after many attempts at confrontation and after performing her own research on her using her own resources, she still does not know what to think of the mystery that was Risu Nakagawa, the current guardian of Ryoukuu.

From what she had gathered using her family's resources, Risu Nakagawa was just an average person, be it her lineage or everything else that surrounds her was normal. Her family was an average family with seemingly no ties to the supernatural at all, that was until she researched on how they passed away.

While publicly it was known as an incident with a slasher in Tokyo around a decade ago, in truth it was an incident with a stray devil that was roaming around being hunted by the local enforcer. The enforcer never did manage to find the stray devil, but what they did find however were the corpses of the girl's parents, with her and her brother seemingly nowhere to be seen.

The news did say that they were simply in a hotel while the incident happened, but her own digging found that that was possibly the incident that awakened Risu Nakagawa's sacred gear, or whatever power that she holds.

She doesn't know what kind of sacred gear she possesses, or even if it was a sacred gear at all. She doesn't know of any power that lets someone completely mask a person's magical signature regarding their sacred gears, or even one capable of controlling creatures whose strength even made some of the elder yokai afraid of her.

The existence of Sakuyamon, a name that she noted seems to have a resemblance with the characters in that game of hers, simply threw away any notion of whatever abilities she thought Risu Nakagawa had.

It was suffice to say that the existence of the fox yokai that was serving under her was something that threw everyone who was supernaturally aware in this city of Ryoukuu into a loop. The golden masked kitsune was an existence whose power level rivals that of the upper level yokai of the yokai capital at Kyoto, an existence that shouldn't make it's base in a backwater city of Ryoukuu, let alone serving a fifteen year old girl.

And said fifteen year old girl was also going to introduce the supernatural world to two of her classmates.

It was a decision that was beyond idiotic. After all, the existence of the moonlit world should not be spoken to others so openly to others, especially civilians like their classmates. The proper procedure that should have been done, which was to erase their memories and return them to their daily lives had been promptly ignored by the brown haired girl.

And she couldn't help but be stunned when she saw a mop of black hair coming to approach her.

Suffice to say her mind had short circuited the moment that she saw Kageyama appear.

"Ah." their eyes met and he broke contact by looking away a second later. She wanted to reach out and scream at him, asking him why he was here of all places, or ordering him to go back into the safety of his home and away from the brown haired unknown.

But before she could even interact with him, a loud voice drew all their attention.

"HEY KAGUYA!!! HURRY UP AND EXPLAINED WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!?" Screamed one orange haired middle schooler as he angrily rushed towards them. The moment he had got her at arms reach, he reached out towards her, but was blocked by the twin tailed girl beside her who shoved his arms away and moved in front of her.

"What's the big idea Amanogawa!" she asked, her eyebrows forming a V showing her displeasure towards his attitude to her.

"What's wrong? WE ALMOST DIED AND YOU'RE ASKING ME WHAT'S WRONG!?" he screamed at her face. "WE GOT ATTACKED BY A MONSTER THAT ALMOST KILLED US AND YOU'RE ASKING ME WHAT'S WRONG!? ARE YOU GODDAMNED BRAINDEAD!?" he shouted as he angrily shoved the pink haired girl away and glared at her furiously.

"I'VE SPENT THE WHOLE DAY THINKING OF WHATEVER THE EVER LIVING FUCK ALMOST KILLED ME!" he shouted at her while angrily pointing at her.

"YOU-"

"My, what is all this commotion?"

Hearing the voice of an unknown lady interfering with their one sided conversation, they all turned around to see the origin of the voice.

They were greeted by a silver haired lady whose hair was tied and formed something that was similar to a pair of fox tails, holding a gohei in her right hand. The woman was wearing a modified miko outfit, where instead of a plain long red skirt, she wore a pair of long red leggings adorned with two black belts with golden heads on her waist. Her own outfit was quite revealing, with the white haori that she wore exposing her chest quite a bit.

But the most prominent feature of the lady before them was of course the golden fox mask that she wore, covering the entire top half of her face and masking her features.

Kaguya instantly knew the person that was standing in front of the toori of the shrine ahead of them, it was of course none other than Sakuyamon who had once saved her from a stray devil that had caught both her and her friend off guard.

A bead of sweat fell on her face as fear gripped her heart. She couldn't feel the fox masked yokai approach them, let alone even now after going through more rigorous training ever since their first meeting, she still could not see the depth of the power that the silver haired yokai had.

"Ah, I see that you are the guests that my master was expecting." she said matter of factly as she examined over them all from where she stood. She nodded to herself and spun around and motioned for them to follow. "Come then. Master has been waiting for your arrival." she then strode inside, leaving the group alone to their devices.

"WAIT DAMN YOU! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU KNOW!" Amanogawa shouted as he dashed, leaving them behind to follow the fox masked woman.

"W-wait Sai!" his companion soon followed suit, and so does the rest of them, albeit with less enthusiasm than the orange haired boy.

Kaguya kept looking over her shoulder and scanned her surroundings as she went, searching for any sign of traps that the small lord of the town might have set in her base of operations. Her pink haired companion followed suit, doing the same thing as her, while Kageyama simply looked nervous as he stared forward to the shrine which the fox masked lady was leading them towards.

Soon enough they reached one of the rooms of the shire, and Sakuyamon slid the shoji open revealing none other than Risu Nakagawa. The brown haired girl was wearing her signature red rimmed glasses and garbed with a bright orange jacket that was draped over her shoulder over a white buttoned shirt and a red bow tie, an attire that was similar to their own school uniform if she were to note.

The girl took note of their arrival, her eyes leaving from the laptop in front of her and scanned over them for the briefest of moments before returning to the screen once more. "So you all arrived." she greeted them. "I heard a lot of shouting even from here. You should be glad that I set up a barrier around here, you could have woken up the neighbors with that shouting of yours."

"NAKAGAWA! EXPLAIN WHAT THE-"

"That's literally why I called you all here you idiot." she interrupted the orange haired boy's session of shouting. "Seriously, aren't you supposed to be smart or something." she remarked making the orange haired boy more red in anger.

"LISTEN HERE YOU-" Amanogawa tried to approach the still sitting girl, only to stop as the silver haired fox yokai drew all their attention by setting down a tray of an assortment of snacks and several glasses of tea.

Once more Kaguya could not be helped but feel unnerved. She never even saw Sakuyamon leave, nor was she able to feel that someone whose presence is as great as her suddenly disappeared into thin air and suddenly appeared once more unnoticed. She glanced at her pink haired companion and saw that she was looking at her, a bead of sweat going down her head.

It seemed that just like her, Tsukino wasn't able to see the movement of the fox yokai as well.

Once more she was having second thoughts on attending this meeting, a feeling that she has sadly been feeling quite a lot ever since she had even been invited to this shrine.

"Oh! Thanks for the food Sakuyamon~" their host said in an almost singing tone as she happily took a bite of the food that was prepared.

The fox yokai merely nodded in response, though she managed to spy a small smile on her when she heard the compliment. Sai was about to begin another round of his shouting, only Nakto was stopped as the Risu Nakagawa raised a finger motioning him to stop as she started drinking. Silence befell the room, the only noise heard being only the sound of the brown haired girl drinking the tea that was served by her underling.

She can tell that Amanogawa was fuming as evidently shown by his reddening face, she can tell that her pink haired companion was not the only one that was nervous of the brown haired girl, as the blonde was also eyeing her. Last but not least, she herself was extremely nervous and angry at the sight of Kageyama being in this very meeting.

"Ah! That hits the spot!" the glasses-wearing girl exclaimed as she put down her glass on the table, making a loud clacking sound as she did so.

"Now then. Where do I begin?" she pondered scratching her chin seemingly in a state of confusion.

"Why don't you start by explaining what the fuck happened!?" while he did not shout this time, Amanogawa certainly made it clear that he was quite distraught by his tone of voice. "What was that monster!? What sort of magic did you use!? WHO ARE YOU!?" the voice of the orange haired boy grew louder with earth sentence.

"Right, right. Guess I'll have to start from there then." their host then stood up and pointed at the wall behind her. As she does so the lights dimmed, startling all of them. She herself had almost pulled out her sacred gear in instinct, but the sudden projection that appeared on the wall stopped her.

Mostly because she was dumbfounded, as the projection of the wall spelled 'Risu's Guide to the Supernatural'.

"I even prepared a presentation for you with Energy Point, so you better be grateful!" she heard the girl say, but it was mostly muted as she thought of what the girl had done. She had created a presentation to welcome newcomers… about matters of the supernatural world?

It was absurd, no such a thing should even be done to introduce someone to the supernatural world. No sane person that is connected to the other side would do something like this to welcome someone. At most they would simply show proof like magic or something similar, but a whole presentation?

The more she found, the more she could only think of Risu Nakagawa as a crazy person, which was a high bar to go through considering the kind of people that live on the other side.

"Now then, first off I guess we can start with the obvious. Supernatural things like magic exist, most stories and legends are real, yadda yadda yadda, basically it's your urban fantasy kind of world, moving on." she glossed over the existence of multiple pantheons and creatures of the night, acting as if something like that was not a fact that would turn the life of any average middle school student upside down.

She saw from the corner of her eyes that Amanogawa was opening his mouth to interject her explanation. "Do keep your questions until the end of my presentation." the glasses wearing girl said, shutting the orange haired boy before he was even able to say anything. He grumbled under his breath and crossed his arms, but complied nonetheless.

"Right, back to your question on what almost got our school sued and or closed due to accidentally losing some of their students during a yearly outing." she continued as she pressed a button on the remote on her hand and the screen changed.

This time the screen changed from a simple title into a sophisticated picture of an oil painting of angels and devils along with fallen angels."So way in the past, somewhere, someplace that's possibly now reconstructed into a city or industrial place or something, a big ass war happened between the Christian factions of the supernatural."

She pointed at the picture to draw their attention. "You probably know about them from popular media. Angels, fallens, devils, the whole package along with some exorcist serving God and all that." she grumbled something about how modern media turned culture and their religions into 'cute anime girls' much to her confusion, but continued before she could ponder too much on her statement.

"Right, moving on. The big war most know as The Great War, like every other war in history, killed a bunch of people, or in this case devils, angels and fallens." with another press of a button, the screen shifted its focus onto the image of devils.

"So a bunch of things happened after the war for the devils, a civil war and all the crap that it entails, but most importantly is the system that they made to increase their numbers." her voice turned grim and the tension in the room became heavy. "The creation of Ajuka Beelzebub, the evil pieces, is able to turn anyone from most races into a devil. That creature that you saw was known as a stray devil, or more precisely a human turned devil that went rogue. They're the kind of creature that roams around the world killing people willy nilly."

She let out a sigh as she caressed her forehead. "The number of missing persons in the world is pretty large you see, and those stray devils are a good chunk of the actual reason for those cases you see."

She saw that the brown haired girl paused, taking time to watch the reaction of her classmates. She too, took a glance to see what her childhood friend's reaction to the constant bombshells that was thrown by their host. Kageyama looked nervous and confused, incredibly so, but more importantly he was contemplative. It was as if he was consuming and processing the information at an incredible pace.

It was at this moment that she remembered how her childhood friend was incredibly talented. She was reminded of not only his talent of the supernatural arts, but also of his cleverness. He has always been creative, that and being able to handle underpressure.

Glancing at the others, she saw that a rainbow of emotions were seen through their face.

Her classmates who were newly introduced to this side of the world wore their emotions on their sleeves, she could see that they were confused, afraid, and a bit intrigued at the explanation that Risu Nakagawa had given.

But the emotions that was more clearly seen, was the emotion of fear.

Perhaps it was because she saw this, that Risu Nakagawa tried to calm them down, or at least undermine their dangerousness. "Well, you shouldn't worry about them. At least not while you're in the city."

"In the city?" Hoshikawa muttered softly, but just loud enough for everyone in the room to hear her comment.

"Might as well answer your other question with this one." the brown haired girl said as she pressed another button of her remote. Doing so turned on the lights in the room, and the projection on the wall disappeared and they all focused their attention to the only person that was standing in the room.

"I guess I need to actually formally introduce myself, the name's Risu Nakagawa, the city's lord or something like that. The title was more or less forced on me if I'm being honest." the girl said and she let out a sigh. "And that means that I'm pretty much responsible for any and all supernatural incidents here. So you shouldn't worry about any incident like yesterday, those strays are usually taken care of by Sakuyamon over there." she said as she pointed behind her to where the golden masked yokai stood in silence.

"Alright! Since we're done with the basics. And you can agree that I haven't been pulling your legs right?" she directed the question to her, and the attention of the occupants of the room shifted to her as well. Reluctantly she nodded, confirming that none of the information given by the brown haired girl was false.

The brown haired girl clapped her hands to regain the room's attention, and eyed the occupants of the room. "Let's go on with the questioning session, I have like, an hour or two to answer all your questions so be quick about it." she stated.

The first one that went ahead and asked a question was none other than Amanogwa. "You're saying that… 'incidents', like yesterday happens all the time." Amanogawa said in a low voice, quite a contrast to the energetic hysteric shouting that he had been doing the whole night.

"Pretty much, yeah."

In response to the nonchalant answer of the glasses-wearing girl, the three who had only just been introduced to the existence of the supernatural looked unseased, and the fear that she saw in them became greater. She could see the fear that gripped Hoshikawa as she asked her own question.

"B-but we're safe right? Those things that you said won't be here right?" and in response to Hoshikawa's question the brown haired girl nodded, much to the blonde's relief.

"Alright, then let me ask MY question Nakagawa." Amanogawa started his voice regaining its energy. The brown haired girl gestured to him to continue, and Amanogawa then asked his question as he glared at the girl. "You're strong right? Being the lord or whatever you are, then why didn't you save us FASTER LAST NIGHT!?" he said as he stood up and angrily pointed at the girl in question

"Y-YEAH! I didn't really remember much about last night, but if what Sai said that you're really strong and all, then why didn't you help us earlier!?" Hoshikawa backed him up as she too stood up and glared at the brown haired girl.

She, being curious of the answer herself, stayed quiet as she sat and watched the brown haired girl closely.

Said girl simply massaged her temple and she let out a sigh.

"Cleary." she began. "You still don't understand how this works." she said much to the displeasure of the two. "So instead of answering your stupid question, I'll answer one from a person that actually thought of his questions before asking them." she said as she motioned to her childhood friend who was surprised by suddenly having the attention of the room all focused at him.

He spluttered for a bit, but composed himself soon enough to ask his question. "Nakagawa-san, d-does that mean that you're responsible for the Town of Ryoukuu?" she nodded and hummed as confirmation.

"IF YOU'RE GODDAMNED RESPONSIBLE OF THIS CITY THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU ARRIVED EARLIER WHEN THAT GODDAMNED MONSTER CHASED US!? I'M THE SON OF THE CITY'S MAYOR! MY SAFETY SHOULD BE PRIORITIZED!" The orange haired boy shouted as he quickly approached the smaller girl, and as even as he stood a head taller than her and stared down at her, she did not react to his presence and still focused on her childhood friend.

"Any other questions?" she asked, not even caring of the boy that was standing mere inches from her.

"ANSWER ME DAMN YOU!" Amanogawa shouted as he rocked his arm back to deliver a punch. Before he could deliver the blow however, Sakuyamon appeared behind him and held his hand. Just as she was about to jump over the table to release the boy from the fox yokai's grasps, she felt a hand on her shoulder stop her from doing so, and a feeling of dread built up within her.

She glanced behind her to see a red haired young man holding not only her, but also her companion who was sweating bullets.

"Wow, even when I've been nothing but hospitable, you'll raise your hand at me. Guess I really shouldn't expect much from children, let alone a spoiled rich brat." Risu Nakagawa said as she walked around the boy as he struggled to free himself from the grasp of the silver haired yokai.

She too tried to pry herself from the grasp of the red haired young man, but to no avail she kept being held in her sitting position.

"Wha! LET GO OF SAI!" Hoshikawa shouted as she rushed towards Sakuyamon much to her horror.

The yokai in question merely moved slightly and let go of the orange haired boy, letting the blonde girl crash into him. She felt the hand that was holding her disappear, and not a moment later she stood between the brown haired girl's servants and her classmates.

She held her sword in her hand, and she saw that Tsukino had also pulled out her pistol and pointed it at the red haired young man who was now standing beside the brown haired girl. The tension in the room was high, if either one of them made a move then an all out fight could break out, and she doubted that the both of them could even match one of the servants that was standing beside Risu Nakagawa.

Even without looking she could tell that her two classmates that were standing behind her were terrified, but more than anything, she focused on the safety of her childhood friend. He was still sitting down, or more correctly he was frozen still in fear in his seat.

The one who broke the tension was none other than the brown haired girl herself. "Wow, that devolved quickly." was all she said before she let out a sigh and motioned for her two servants to back down. They did so, and not long after, she deemed the situation as safe as it could possibly be and gestured for her companion to lower her weapon.

She does so, albeit reluctantly by the looks of wary that she kept throwing towards the unknown red haired young man that easily sneaked past both of them and could have easily incapacitated them.

"Right, where were we? Ah right I was answering glasses' question." their host said nonchalantly, ignoring the whole fight that had almost broke out mere seconds ago.

"I might be responsible for the city, but I sure as hell aren't responsible for it's people." she said. "Sure, I'll take care of the stray devils and other supernatural dastards that appear once in a while. But if you're outside of my jurisdiction, then you're not my problem."

She then proceeded to stare at Amanogawa who was sweating up a storm. "Sincerely, I don't give a pegasus dung about what happens to you or your family. Sure the son of the mayor dying would be quite the headline, but that would trouble me how? I don't really see any other problems other than maybe the press and that dad of yours shutting down the school due to public pressure."

Normally a comment like that would incite rage from Amanogawa, but instead she could only see him white as a sheet, clearly a sign of fear. She too would have looked like that if she hadn't gotten years of training to mask her emotions.

"But no need to worry your ass off. As I said before, the city is under my protection and I wouldn't really want the school to be closed down so I'll do my bestest to keep you safe. In fact, that was the reason as to why I even bothered to save you in the first place you ungrateful brats."

Silence once more befell the room, with tension rising with it. This time the one that broke it was her childhood friend. "N-Nakagawa-san. T-then if we were to leave the town… then what would happen?" he asked nervously.

"Then you're out of my protection. And also out of my range to keep up the Stealth Hide that I've been casting on you." was the answer that he received from their host.

"Stealth Hide?" said her companion for the first time since they entered the shrine. "Is that-"

"The thing that not only normalizes their magical signature but also hides their sacred gear? Yeah that." answered the girl before Tsukino could even form her question. "That thing has a dumb low range, and while I can make it self sufficient by using their own magic to keep it up at all times, isn't really something that's good for the long run. It keeps them away from far or long range scrying, but the moment someone gets close they'll easily realise that they're hiding their magical signature."

The girl let out a sigh before continuing. "That and it takes a long time to actually prepare. It took around a semester to actually form a Stealth Hide that matches even one person. Just ignore the fact that I manage to make three in a semester, my genius works in mysterious ways."

She received an answer to the question that had been plaguing her mind for quite some time, but sadly the answer that she had received doesn't fully satisfy her. Right now the brown haired girl was staring directly at her, expecting her to ask a question.

Many questions floated around her mind to ask the brown haired girl. She doubted that she would answer most of them, but she would try nonetheless. First of all she'll start with the most important question that she has had for the longest time. "Risu Nakagawa, what are your goals from hosting this… event."

"Sheesh, the way that you phrase your question is like a demand as always." the brown haired girl complained, and she frowned in response and glared at her harder to get her to answer the question. "Fine, fine. I'm merely fulfilling my promise."

It took a bit of time for her to process the answer given to her by their hist. "Promise?" she asks, genuinely confused.

"I did promise to answer most of your questions didn't I? I just allowed everyone else to also ask their own." was the answer that she received from the brown haired girl. Said girl then crossed her arms and ordered them to ask more questions. "Any more questions? It's getting late now and I need my sleep, so get on with it."

"W-what are you going to do to us?" asked Hoshikawa in a whisper that was barely loud enough for her to hear even when she was right in front of the girl, though it seemed that Risu Nakagawa managed to hear it.

"Me? I'll do nothing really. The correct question that you really should be asking is what do YOU want?" responded the brown haired girl as she fixed the position of her glasses. "It's more of a supernatural side of the world tradition to erase the memories of randos that encountered supernatural beings, and I certainly could erase yours if you want, but I'll have to warn you that you are a living bait for most supernatural creatures out there."

"L-living bait!?" exclaimed Kageyama. "N-Nakagawa-san! What do you mean by living bait!?"

She responded by snapping her fingers and looking as if a realization had just dawned upon her. "Oh! Right, totally forgot about that. Totally forgot to explain about sacred gears and all the bucket load of problems that that entails." she couldn't believe that the girl that she was facing could forget a topic as important as that, that a girl whom had subordinates as powerful as the two standing before her, a girl whose position was incredibly important for the city that she lived in could even forget about the Christian God's miracles was something that she never thought she would ever see happening.

And yet here was Risu Nakagawa, an extremely powerful young girl who was also the city's lord, completely forgetting about the existence of sacred gear and the importance of said miracles to her three classmates that possess it.

"Yeah, so remember when I said I put that Stealth Hide on the three of you right? It was meant to hide your presence and all that right? That was also meant to hide your sacred gears, abilities or weapons given by the big G that can range from 'wow this is completely useless' to 'how is the world not destroyed yet'." the girl explained as she scratched her head.

"People with sacred gears usually have this iffy feeling around them, making them a prime target for most stray devils to commit manslaughter, and for your average devil, angel, fallen, or rather any member of the supernatural spectrum to straight up recruit and or kill you." she said much to the shock of the three new additions to the supernatural side.

"T-then if we were to go out of the range of this… Stealth Hide that you gave us then..."

"Ho, as expected of you glasses, you caught on quick. Yep, an incident like the one that those two idiots over there just went through last night might happen again, and I most definitely won't be there to save their ass at that point." Risu Nakagawa answered her childhood friend's question, once more nonchalantly insinuating that her classmates would die a tragic death.

"I-I'LL PAY YOU! I'LL GIVE YOU HOWEVER MUCH YOU WANT TO PUT THAT THING ON ME ON ALL TIMES." cried out Amanogawa from behind her. She could feel the desperation and terror coming from his voice, obviously terrified of an incident like yesterday night happening once more.

Their host shook her head and rejected his offer. "No can do boyo. Not because I hate money or anything, I certainly can charge for the use of Stealth Hide from now on, but mostly because as someone grows their magical signature can also change, rendering my program ineffective of actually doing it's job." she then took a contemplative pose.

"I can of course fix it when the time comes, but the program would still be ineffective if you were to get out of my range. Although…" she took a glance at the three and snapped her fingers once more.

"That's enough for today's questioning. Let's get into business now." the brown haired girl then held out an arm towards them and started talking once more. "Right now you have a few choices, a bunch of them really. You can go through the usual route of having civilians meeting the supernatural, which is getting their memories of the incident wiped and replaced with normal ones, continue living your normal daily lives with the burden of this knowledge, or..."

As the girl drew out her last proposition and started to smirk, Kaguya felt a chill run down her spine.

"You can all work for me, and reap tons of benefits of doing so."
