This is so embarrassing, nay humiliating.

I am currently standing under a hot shower, don't get me wrong now. The hot water felt amazing on my skin and I felt pure ecstasy. The soaps smelt delightful and I will walk out a new man.

This was all enjoyable. Except for the fact, I am still bound and one of these animals is scrubbing me down. I mean they are animals but come one. It is way too far getting scrubbed down by some damn wildebeest that doesn't take a shower themselves!

It was just damn awkward.

They could've at least got a female to do it or something. Not some old grumpy African Beast with hygiene issues!

But, I digress. Focusing on the more positive sides of life, I get out of here tomorrow. Although on the contrary, they allow me no view of the outside world and watch me like a hawk. I am also bedridden with constant CCTV cameras keeping watch.

They don't even allow me tv. Fucking tv!

With no entertainment, most of my time is devoted to meditation. Or at least trying to attain somewhat little peace. It is kind of hard when you've been through a cesspool of countless events in such a short time.

I really have no clue where my life heads from here. The only thing I am looking out for is a fellow human. That is most likely impossible judging by the way they had viciously studied me these past few days, but I won't lose hope.

This whole publicity stunt has me on edge though.

That President Cook character was interesting... to say the least. My mind still can't fathom that these animals are sentient and have complex minds. Every time I look at them and they speak, it just boggles my mind. If things like this exist, then what else is out there in the universe? You know what, please don't answer that. I don't want to know.

Breaking myself from my thoughts I glared up at the animal scrubbing me down and voiced my opinion, "I'm done". The animal in question just glanced at me before snorting. I rolled my eyes as it quickly dried me with a towel and forcefully strapped me back to the bed. Beginning to wheel me back to my cell of loneliness.

I enjoyed the ride through the empty halls, it was nice to see something other than my room. Never thought architecture was so interesting until now. Soon enough, the room came into view and my drawn-out sigh did little to hide my thoughts. The animal opened the door and carelessly slung my bed in. The bed hit the wall harshly and I jerked, the straps pulling me around roughly digging into my skin. The wildebeest disappeared and left slamming the door as his departing gift. The lock on the door clicked and his hoove steps sealed his departure.

"Asshole!", I made sure to call out before he could get out of earshot.

Tring halfheartedly expecting a miracle I lazily attempted to pull at my binds. Soon I collapsed on the bed with a grunt, straining against these straps were useless. The digital clock sitting to my right on the monitor read 7 p.m. For once I finally decided to turn in early tonight since tomorrow was my big day, freedom.

Turning over to block out the blaring fluorescent lights and with a few shallow breaths, I slowly nodded off into the realm of sleep.

Saturday 5:30 A.M.

I woke up sometime around four, way too excited for my own good. My energy levels were soaring through the roof and it pissed me off being strapped down. When I first woke up, my instincts were to roll out of bed and start doing pushups. So much for that.

I just opted to sit and fidget, watching the door and waiting for someone to come in. My eyes practically were glued to the clock and the slow tick made its way under my skin. It practically taunted me.

Finally, at 4:40 a.m., the nurse came in. When the doorknob began to jiggle I felt like a dog when its owner came home. It opened slowly and a female zebra made its way in with an armored guard in tow.

The zebra stopped in the middle of the room and glanced around before meeting my gaze. "It is time for you to leave and get ready, the mayor's private militia are expecting you", she finally states, after staring at me. I just smiled and responded, "Finally, I get out of this damn joint!".

The zebra ignored my enthusiasm to leave and slowly approached and informed me, "I will be taking the straps off and I will remove the needles, sir". The armored wolf quickly cut in from behind her and added, "And you better not move a muscle, I've been itching to shoot you freak". My eyes just rolled and I let out a puff of air complying with their orders. The wolf raised his rifle and planted his red laser right between my eyes.

The nurse moved with great caution towards me and slowly began to unhook the needles and wires. Every time she removed a needle my pours would scream in pleasure as the room temperature air kissed it. It felt so good to be free of all the equipment and my mobility was made easier tenfold. Then she popped off the straps and my wrist came free. They fell limply and I could not move them, when I tried I just felt that prickly feeling you do when they fall asleep. It felt like millions of bugs were walking on my hand. It finally woke up with a lot of effort and I rubbed my wrist to ease the pain.

The nurse slowly began to walk away facing me and the wolf's digit found its way in front of the trigger. I made sure to be extra still, even going as far as to hold my breath. When she made it out the door a pair of clothes and some shoes were tossed into my room. "Put them on and be ready in 5 minutes", she called from behind the door and it quickly locked with a familiar click. I slowly sat up grunting when my back popped and I sat on the edge of my bed.

Slowly placing my feet down, they recoiled at the cold floor and I placed them back to slowly adjust. When I finally stood up my balance was lost and I caught myself on the end table next to me. After my stability and balance were back, I checked out my new clothing items.

I was given a grey jumpsuit, assholes, they gave me the color signifying "mentally unstable". It was a plain suit with a simple zipper and looked quite stupid. Sitting on top was a pair of canvas slip-on shoes, they were poorly made and looked new. "Aww, they made me my own specials shoes. They do care", I mocked to no one in particular. I picked them up and quickly put them on. Even if I didn't like them, I was thankful. Clothes were clothes.

Now fully dressed I glanced down at myself, it felt weird. After being in the nude for a while you could feel the clothes resting on you and it no longer felt like a part of your body. Other than feeling different and looking like a convict, I was finished preparing. "Ready!", I called out. The door opened and only the guard came in, the nurse has seemed to have left me with him. Great.

He briskly walked behind me and yanked my arms together handcuffing me. They tightened and my raw wrists hissed in pain once again. He gave me an unexpected shove with the muzzle of his gun, I stumbled forward and almost fell on my face. "Get moving and no funny business freak", he ordered harshly. "Yes mam", I replied, smirking at the faint growl that resonated from behind me.

Before leaving, I took one last glance at the room. "This is going to ruin my views on hospitals. Probably gonna have to see a shrink", I joked hoping to lighten the wolf's mood. He just grumbled and ordered once again, "I said move!".

Now sick of his attitude I smirked and insulted him, "Why don't you go eat some cat shit or piss on a fire hydrant, mut".

I collapsed to my knees when an unexpected paw connected with my stomach. The wolf was now and my ear and growled, "Watch your mouth". Then yanking me up he pushed me again, this time out of the door. I just glared back and answered, "Yes commander". He did not comment and grabbed me by the arm leading me briskly down the hallway.

We made it through the hospital and down the elevator to the loading bay for the EMS vehicles. Walking out the back door, I sighed in pleasure. It was so amazing to finally be back outside and feel the sun. It beat down harshly on my skin and a slight breeze carried the smell of crops.

This shook me out of my stupor and I noticed my hypothesis was correct, we were in a rural area. There was a big empty field all around us and a tree line in the distance, even farther I could see the beginning of multiple crop fields. There was a single paved driveway and road that wrapped around the building and it appeared we were in the back. This cut off my vision from the front and it told me they were avoiding the public seeing me.

The wolf quickly interrupted my thoughts and yanked me towards an ambulance where another guard stood at attention. We made our way to him and the back was quickly opened, they tossed me inside and slammed the door behind them. I just grunted and sat up in the empty ambulance taking in the darkness. The vehicle roared to life and I felt us moving, doing a quick succession of turns before stabilizing. Now seeing we were probably on the main road I returned to my depressing reality.

This is... an interesting situation.

I didn't know if I was really prepared for this, to be honest. That spirit said this is my new life, yeah, pretty shitty so far. Thrown into a world of animals and captured, I am living the dream baby! totally, 100 percent. The situation sounded like some weird story being written, not a reality (I had to do a little fourth wall break).

What were my intentions? Was I really going to live in the city, or deny the mayor's orders and run? This thought never really had crossed my mind. They both had pros and cons, so I compared them. On one hand, running away would ensure my freedom. But the consequences would suck. Most likely a bounty would be placed on my head and my ass would end up back in a hospital but this time on a federal level. If I decide to stay, however, I would be run and controlled like a political puppet.

I pulled my hair annoyed and groaned. Why does my life have to suck so much? I know some had it worse, but come on, a small dose of self-pity is pretty common. I remained in my questioning state for the whole ride comparing outcomes. The van stopped and the door opened revealing two pissed-off guards. I flinched and covered my eyes instinctually at the sun's harsh rays. They yanked me out with an attitude, and I stood confused at their sudden attitude.

The answer came to me when I turned around to glance at the source of their hatred. My jaw dropped. There was a small train station with a long modern-looking train waiting for me. The shocking part was the sea of news reporters and cameras. There was a whole mob of animals of all kinds with vans littered everywhere. Cameras were pointed and even two small helicopters circled the train. There were so many news stations involved. I saw ZNN, Faux News, ZBS, ZNSBC, etc. How did they all fit in the general area?

"How the hell did they know he was coming!", the wolf to my right exclaimed. The other wolf just pinched his nose in frustration, "I better get a promotion after this". "Amen!", the one on the right piped up before I was hauled slowly to the station. The sea of animals fell quiet as I drew closer and the cameras were all pointed towards me. The dirt crunched under my feet and soon as I stepped on the platform all hell broke loose.

The wave of flashes irritated my eyes and I could barely hear over the shouting of news reporters screaming over each other. Some got ballsy and came in closer causing the guards to pull their handguns out to send a message. The loud hum of the helicopter drowned out any other noise than the reporters' endless questions and statements. I was quickly pulled towards the train and boarded.

We stepped in and the door was slammed behind us.

The sea of reporters moved closer and tried to peer into the window. Their voices now a muffled chorus barely audible. I glanced around at the interior, it was a standard train with multiple sections ranging from seating rooms, bathrooms, and storage. My observation was cut short when I was yanked the other direction heading towards a ladder. They pulled their guns and drew them on me, I stood confused and concerned until one started to remove my cuffs. When they came off he barked his orders as usual, "Climb up the ladder".

I complied and climbed it with a grunt.

When I made it up to the top a small hatch was slammed shut. I quickly turned around and grabbed the handle, it wouldn't budge and I rolled my eyes. I had a bad habit of doing this lately, I felt like a disrespectful teenage girl. Seeing as the exit was closed I made my way to my feet and glanced around. It was a small glass bubble that provided me with a 360-degree view. I glanced outside and the reporters caught on to my whereabouts and all cameras were pointed up at me.

I just gave them the finger before sitting down on a small bench that wrapped around the inside. After a few minutes, a loud train horn went off causing me to jump slightly. Reporters quickly scrambled away some even off the track, after all of them moved the hum of the train crescendoed louder and we began to move. The station slowly shank and open fields and rolling fields took their place. The scenery was amazing. I saw woods, waterfalls, farms, and small shotgun houses. It had this charm that my world simply didn't have, hey, at least that is one benefit of living here.

I laid my head against the panel of glass and slowly relaxed into it, watching the scenery with half-lidded eyes. I was so close to falling asleep before an audible click caught my attention. It resonated from the hatch and I glanced at it surprised.

It unexpectedly slid open and I stared confusedly not expecting any visitors. A lion and an arctic wolf wearing black suits shimmied up the ladder coming into my view. The lion heaved himself up with a grunt having to bend further because of his height with the wolf in tow. They now both stood in front of me staring me down. They both had some black shades on that looked like they were trying to be cool but failed miserably.

I was simply confused. Not expecting any guards and puzzled at their more formal appearance I decided to break the ice, "Sup".

The animals in question just glared and removed their cliche sunglasses in synch, I just braised a brow. A sinister grin appeared on their muzzle, replacing their formal neutral expressions. My instincts were going off like crazy sounding the alarm screaming 'Danger! Danger!', deciding to not act rash, I waited. The lion simply cracked his knuckles and snarled, "You think this is some social call you hairless freak?".

I stood up and began to stare him down. My feet were shoulder-width apart, and I stood with my left side, leading, basically, in a simple orthodox boxing stance. My hands remained down though to not grab any unwanted attention. I simply cracked my neck and retorted, "Stop trying to be a smart ass, your just an ass". He growled deeply in response and teeth began to show. "You know how I see it?", he growled once more. Before he could answer I cut him off, "I'd like to see things from your point of view but I can't seem to get my head that far up my ass".

He didn't like that one bit.

As I expected, he flew at me with claws outstretched trying to swipe me. I simply sidestepped and he ran into the glass behind me. His nose slammed with such force I heard a crack and he grabbed his nose letting out a childish mewl. He grabbed his broken nose and fell to the ground, revealing a cracked glass pane. I just smirked and asked, "Are you always this stupid, or is today just a special occasion?". The lion had a look of pure rage in his eyes and tried to get up, halfway he grabbed his head and collapsed again. Guess it hit him harder than I thought.

I just smirked until something hard connected with the back of my head. Pain erupted in the back of my head and my adrenaline kicked in. I forgot about the damn wolf, I had an urge to facepalm at my rookie mistake but instead, I fought back. Whipping around I met his eyes, he tried to throw a quick right cross. I quickly knocked his paw outwards with a block and countered with an overhand. My fist connected with his temple with a loud crack and he stumbled back into the wall.

Before I could go in for the knockout, a pair of furry arms grabbed me in a chokehold. The lion's yellow arms seized me before I could react. He was now squeezing and the blood was cut off from my brain. My face grew hot and I felt myself going unconscious, right before I was down for the count he let up. I took in a big gulp of air and panted heavily while in his grasp, recovering. The wolf was now walking towards me with an unsettling grin on his face. He quickly grabbed a concealed knife and put it up to my throat.

He leaned in close and his breath was just straight-up rank.

"You could've come easy, you know. We were sent to collect but, you just had to be macho. Our boss will get what he paid for, but the package might come a little damaged", he narrated threateningly in my face. His voice was hoarse and sounded like he smoked four packs a day. He wetted his black chops proceeding to talk before the automated PA cut him off.

'Attention all passengers your stop at the Zootopia City Center will be approximately 8 minutes. Please enjoy Gazelle's newest track "Try Everything" while we approach. Thank you for riding with Locomotive Zootopia!'

A small techno beat began followed by some adlibs, the song presumably began to play. The wolf froze, not expecting to have so little time before we arrived. I guess they had plans to stop the train and run off with me. I used this temporary distraction to my advantage, I quickly head-butted him in the nose. The wolf stumbled back, dropping the knife, and grabbed his nose. "Aww, you both have matching fucked up noses now. So cute", I mocked in a girly voice. The wolf's face morphed into the most savage face I had ever seen and he screamed, "I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU". He then charged me blindly and I simply kicked him in the groin and followed up to the chest, sending him sprawling across the cart.

This surprised the lion holding me and the tight grip restricting me loosened. My chin was quickly wedged in between his forearm and my neck creating a barrier protecting my vital area. My elbow then found itself in his right kidney, causing him to bend over. I quickly bumped him back with my ass creating distance but still held on to his arm. I fell to my knee and flipped him over me.

Using his own body weight against him he flew over me and hit the ground hard. I stood up and quickly kicked him in the face knocking him out. The lion fell limp and his breath slowed back to a normal pace. The wolf, however, wasn't quite done yet. He stood back up with his knife and snarled, "You wanna play that way huh? No more mister nice wolf". My smirk grew and my eyebrow rose, "Pardon me, you are confusing me with someone who gives a damn". I grabbed my chest in mock expression and gauged his reaction.

"Let's see how much you talk when I fuck up your teeth freak", the wolf shot back.

I just simply replied, "Let's".

The fight began and it was pretty intense. This guy was clearly trained and it lasted a while. We danced and traded blows, both causing the other damage and drawing blood. Somewhere in between, he caught me with his knife and it stabbed straight into my left thigh implanting itself there. We fought for what seemed like hours but in reality probably a few minutes. In the background, the intercom continued to blare 'Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh! Try everything!' as we traded shots. We were well into the city by now, I could tell by the buildings in the corner of my eye. This meant our stop was approaching soon and I have to end this now.

I stepped back and he followed with an onslaught of punches, I kept moving using a jab to keep him back. He followed trying to overwhelm me but, couldn't close the distance. I lead him to the cracked glass and put my hands down. He took the bait and threw a jab straight to my face. I slipped it and moved in out of his reach and grabbed him by his head. My hands dug into his fur and with all my might I slammed his head into the already cracked and weak glass.

The structurally weak glass gave out with a loud crack and his head went straight through. The sound of wind ripped through the barrier and was practically deafening. Small glass shards cut up his head and the back of my hands. I wanted to run his neck across the broken glass and end it, but it wasn't worth it. I just heaved him back in with a grunt. Seeing as he was knocked out and probably permanently hospital-bound, I collapsed on the bench feeling dizzy. My adrenaline quit pumping and the pain started to roll in, especially my thigh.

I glanced down and finally noticed the heavy blood loss. The whole cart smelt like iron due to the blood cascading the walls and floor. Where the hell is the guards? I grunted and pressed down on the wound hoping to stop the flow and clot it up. I pressed for a good 30 seconds before I started to get woozy, the exhaustion and blood loss finally got to me and I passed out on the bench.
