what's up, folks? It's been so darn long, I know! I hadn't written in ages to be honest. I'd been thinking about new fic ideas and not to mention video editing! Anyway, do tell me how you liked this chapter.
Tyson scattered himself along with his clothes across the floors of the dojo. Surprisingly, Ray and Max, who were on either sides, didn't feel his kicks. It was seven in the morning when . Hilary and Kenny were awake and gave Mike a baffled look while he panted on his knees.
"Mike? What's up?" Kenny asked.
Mike lifted up a chart. "This."
Hilary clutched her arm tight at the sight of the regime.
"Oh, don't keep yourself waiting! Come in!" Kenny said.
Mike tip-toed into the dojo.
"I'm sorry, should I not have come this early? The boys are asleep!" Mike hissed. "But to be frank, we need to do this early! We don't have much time. So if you'll excuse me, can you wake them up?"
Kenny readily reassured him saying there wasn't any problem. Hilary, the boss of them all, walked towards them with heavy footsteps. It was only a miracle to figure out how Hilary managed to get a bucketful of ice-water. As predictable as it is, she smashed water over their faces.
"What's that attitude?!" Tyson yelled. "Can't a guy sleep in peace?"
"No, we have a visitor." Kai said stoically.
Tyson rushed himself over the blanket as he saw Mike. "Oh, Mike? Is it the regime?" He said, hopping his knees over to Kenny and Mike.
"Yes. Tiara and I planned it all. But unfortunately, she and the others couldn't make it here. So I'm going to have to tell you everything."
Tyson nodded. "Go on."
Mike coughed. "Trouble. We cannot approach the demon rock island just like that. Those dimwits blocked our way by casting sort of a spell on the Pacific ocean-"
"A spell?" Tyson said, raising an eyebrow.
"Well not exactly." Mike sighed. "But we can't get through. They probably figured we're travelling here for help and so, to stop us, your darker sides blocked the path. To get through…you probably have to get engaged in a scrimmage and you will most likely end up battering yourselves which is certainly the last thing we want."
Tyson scandalized. "We're not running away! You think we're incapable of fighting?! And don't we need to defeat those catastrophic sides anyway? So finish em' off at the moment!"
Hilary exasperated. Ray and Max exchanged looks of hopelessness.
Mike kept his cool and gaped at Tyson for seconds. The duet gazed for a number of seconds until he finally spoke. "I'm here, to discuss the entire regime! You need to lay down and listen to me!" He blustered.
"Well I'm the captain of this team and what I say, goes." Tyson said, as though it was complacent.
"Tyson, shut it." Kai said. "We need him and the squad. They're the only ones who can help us out. He's got stuff to reveal, so it's best you listen."
"Fine, sorry." Tyson said impassively.
Mike shook his head. "It will appear like a regular cruise, Ray. It is one in fact. There will over a thousand passengers on board, including you. However, it's not regular cruise. There's an in-built submarine which we will get into, on the midst of the night. I will take control along with Tiara and we will round the Pacific Ocean, entering the Demon Rock island. I know this is all a pain. I know the last time you guys went there, all you did was hop onto a motorboat and approach. But we must not be seen. Plus, the gods have already casted that nasty shadow over."
Tyson gave a loud sigh. "Vexing, if you ask me. But honestly, this seems well planned."
"Uh huh. Not yet, Tyson. Once we reach there, the four of us, Tiara, Allen, Rosa and I will try to unleash the dome. Undoubtedly, the gods will approach us and try to attack, especially knowing you guys are here. They will try to capture your beasts- and that's what you need to avoid. And I must warn you, it won't be easy. Your beasts need to strangle their necks and place it back into the dome. Once that happens, the four of us will lock it- seal it. Very tight. And then, we attack those dirtbags, playing their dirty tricks."
Hilary gulped. "I personally…don't wanna go to Mexico. I mean, it is one of the most-"
"Dangerous places, I know. High crime rates, rapes, body exploitations. Not a very attractive place for women, especially. But we have no choice. Going to the United States would be tranquil, but because of personal reasons, we can't."
"Why not?" Daichi interrogated.
"That's personal, I suppose." Mike retorted.
"Alright. Thanks for that, Mike." Kenny said politely. "When is the flight?"
Mike grimaced. "Tonight."
"WHAT?" Tyson yelled. "You're kidding, right?"
"Couldn't have known a better time for tomfoolery, could I?" Mike jeered.
"It's not funny! We're not prepared! This is all so sudden!"
"That's why I came here early in the morning. Had I not, you would've been snoozing all day." Mike bit his lip. "Better start packing."
Tyson was perturbed at first, but got his confidence together. He knew he had to do it, for dragoon, for every blader and for the world out there. There was no holding back. Busting out of the pressure of two continuous rendezvous, he walked out for a deep breath. He knew it was going to be intense.
Mike was granted his leave soon, followed by Ray appealing Tyson.
"Hey, bud. What's up?" The cerulean-haired blader asked.
"Nothing much. A whole new devise," he sighed. "A whole new adventure. Catastrophic, involving bit-beasts…this is so much like how it was two years ago."
Ray nodded. "Well about the Mexico thing," he coughed. "Hilary was right."
Tyson took a sharp head-turn on Ray. "Yeah, so what?" He said, sounding slightly indignant. "She'll be okay one way or the other."
Ray eyed Tyson, though not in a very incredulous manner. He was used to Tyson taking things extremely lightly and not bothering. Every conflict he had with Hilary was taken lightly, while being unsure about her feelings. Whenever Ray or any of the BladeBreakers tried bringing her up, he'd be facetious and successful upon changing the topic. In the end, he was the one approaching her apprehensively and finally, apologising – a thing which he absolutely hates doing.
Ray sighed. After a long pause, he finally opened his yap. "Well anyway, let's get packed, shall we? And not to forget, we need to hone our skills."
"You got it dude."
Not surprisingly, the team spent nearly four hours packing and deciding on strategies. Hilary didn't hold back; she ranted and blabbered about her opinions and the kind of tactics the team could use to battle.
Tyson slept all afternoon. Hilary headed to her house for finishing off school chores. Kenny was up all afternoon, doing technical research and finding ways to fit in the best alloys for defence. Ray, Max and Daichi were ordered by Kenny to buy these specific parts, much to their dismay, because it took all of the practice session. Kai played the lone wolf once again, heading off somewhere no one could even dare spotting him.
It was about time when he arrived. The flight was supposed to leave at seven, so the former BladeBreakers and the current Scrimmage Resolutions headed to the airport by six. The whole car ride, Tiara didn't even dare to look at Hilary, especially after how unceremoniously Mike confronted her and Rosa. He yet hadn't apologized to her for his so called loutish behaviour, which he thought needn't require a genuine apology.
"Even if I do apologize, it's not going to be genuine," Mike had said smartly. "So why be dishonest? I'm not ready to apologize, so that's that."
Over minutes, just waiting at the airport, Kenny started to realize how Mike gave vibes of a very mature Tyson. They would get along, but Mike seems just too much for him.
Tyson's stomach felt peckish. "I'm really up for some morsels." He said drowsily.
"No way!" Hilary snapped. "We need to head to the boarding gates in five-minutes."
"Yeah, look! There's a coffee shop. That'll take just five-minutes! And it's near our boarding gate, right?" Tyson said, pointing up to the shop next to the escalator.
Defeated, Hilary sighed in agreement.
A typical Tyson gulped down the glass of coffee in second. "So much for a coffee!"
Tiara slightly blushed. "Hey, uh. We should get to the gates now, before they close!"
"You're right. Come on!"
They rushed over to the gates. Fifteen minutes later, it was time for boarding. Daichi nearly crumbled his ticket in fear of flying.
"What's your seat number?" Hilary asked, looking up to Tyson.
"Oh, mine?" He said, reaching out to his pocket. "19-C." He read out.
"What about yours?"
Hilary groaned. "10-A. I don't want to end up near Tiara or Rosa! They will eat the life out of me! Or, we will just be gawking at eachother in awkwardness which is worse cause I didn't get my headphones!"
Tyson dropped a sweat. "You'll be okay! We can always exchange seats if there's some kind of conflict, right?"
Hilary grinned. "I guess so."
Fortunately, Hilary ended up next to Daichi and Max. But at the same time, much to her own dismay, Tiara ended up next to Tyson. She craned her head over multiple seats and nearly growled witnessing Tiara being coquettish with him. She rammed herself onto the seat in anguish.
"All good, Hilary?" Max asked sweetly.
"All good." She lied.
Things were peaceful until a bunch of random men popped out from behind the gates.
"Hands up! NOW!" One of them squawked, pointing guns. Hilary, Max and Daichi were unfortunate this time, given their seats right near the back exit. Hilary had shudders running down her spine but she got a grip eventually.
"Passengers! Stay low! The flight has been hijacked! I repeat, the flight-"
But the pilot was interjected by shot on the speakers.
"HILA-"
"Shh!" Ray, who was next to Tyson, shut his mouth up. "We're beybladers. We can take them on! Let's get this planned, shall we? Tiara, will you lend us a hand?"
"Are you sure it's a good idea? I mean, they're further away from us! What if we don't make it on time? It seems way too far-fetched."
Ray shook his head. "We take advantage of the fact they're further away. We have more time to prepare. There's only one thing we need to make sure, that our launches have not only a good timing but also a good aim. That's the only tough part because we're way behind."
Tyson looked around, first with discontent, but his eyes were suddenly filled with coruscating and glee. "There's no time to be irresolute. As long as there's time for us, I'll tell you what to do."
Meanwhile, Kenny, Rosa and Allen gasped their asses out. Kai passed indignant looks to them and was dejected upon being stuck between a bunch of morons.
Hilary resisted herself from squealing. Max and Daichi both stood up for Hilary, since they both were bladers. But even Daichi wasn't stupid enough to launch, knowing that they have milli-seconds to prepare.
"Okay, blades ready?" Tyson whispered.
Tiara and Ray nodded in agreement.
"On three!"
Whispering the numbers slowly, they went for the kill.
"Let it Rip!" Tyson yelled and put a slightly weak launch. "Ray!"
"GO, DRIGER!" He said, launching his blade.
"Your turn, Ceffylina!" Tiara yelled with a final blow. With Tyson gaining enormous speed, his blade knocked the gun off, finally creating an opening for not only themselves, but any other bladers.
"Ingenious work! That was incredible!" Kenny exclaimed.
"This is similar to how Tyson beat you the first time he battled you. Well, old tactics do always come in handy, don't they?" said Hilary excitingly. "So what if I cant blade? I have enough muscles to show off!"
She galloped over Daichi and Max, pouncing on one of the hijackers, nearly smacking them about ten times.
"Guess we need to start appreciating things outside of the beyblading world." Ray said, grinning at Hilary.
"Yeah." Tyson smiled heartily at her. "Come on Hils!"
Tiara gasped. She nearly forgot that Tyson and Hilary were good friends despite not having blading in common. She's the only friend he has considering that. And yet, Tyson proved that he can live with eternal bonds.
She was sure she loved Tyson, but was it only an infatuation? How did her feelings for Allen retreat all of a sudden? She had loved Allen since a child. How could she possibly get over him so soon, adding on to the jealousy she feels in Tyson and Hilary's relationship? Baffled, she realized that she had to think about this.
I hope things have been intriguing till now. I'm going to start another beyblade fic along with this one. And probably have some plans on Death Note and Pokemon fics.
And, last to note: Please stay safe.
