Police Cars of the Brockton Bay Police Department Race down every street they can get to announcing what they all heard on the Police broadband, as they did this, all the various News Outlets are playing the Governor of Massachusetts speech about declaring Martial Law and invoking the Insurrection Act, which will be followed by the President of the United States.

City and School Buses, Municipal city and Dock Workers trucks are being used to carry people out of the city, either escorted by a PRT Van and a BBPD Patrol Car or a BBFD Emergency vehicle and a PRT Van, anyone with trucks are told to help carry as many people in their neighbourhood to join the convoy out of the city.
Once out of the city limit they are greeted by the site of a bunch of Massachusetts State Police vehicles, both police cars and armored vehicles, these took over the escort duty as the escorting PRT, BBPD and BBFD went back into the city to continue evacuations, the State Police escorted them into the checkpoint where they watch as more trucks full of Canadian soldiers, identified by their flags, are setting up.
Some of the Canadian soldiers that looked like Case 53s, were carrying heavy weapons like they were infantry rifles, others were setting up what look like siege guns and other artillery pieces, just as they pass them, they found themselves in a town turned Base where they found themselves transferring buses, if they were in a personal vehicle, they were logged in to the system and told to follow the convoy.
As they leave the town they saw the buses went back into the city, this time to evacuate the last of the people willing to leave and unbeknownst to anyone, the Wards and Rogues, away from the possible active warzone, as the Exodus continued on, the PRT, BBPD and BBFD evacuated last in a massive convoy of buses, trucks and emergency vehicles, which in turn drained some of the Gang's manpower and left the city to the clutches of the military.
For everyone from Brockton Bay, the amount of tanks, infantry, combat vehicles and helicopters looked overwhelming, but for the BBPD, PRT, Protectorate, the Wards and New Wave it looked like this Earth's US Government wasn't messing around and was bringing as many guns as they could to make sure that the Gang problem wasn't going to be an issue anymore, as they saw the Army both US and Canadians were Case 53s.
The PRT could only wonder what the hell are the Tinker-tech style guns were, just as they continued following their escort of Massachusetts State Police cars to whatever place they were heading towards, passing them are more trucks, APCs, Tanks and Helicopters of the US Army and National Guard of whatever state had sent troops, and the Canadians.
Then came the biggest surprise, when they found themselves at Hanscom Air Force Base, in Boston, while the place was different than the one they knew of, it was obviously Boston, at Hanscom there was a massive State and Federal response, from the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency to the Federal Emergency Management Agency
As they were being cared for by the State and Federal Government they couldn't stop looking at the massive amount of firepower being flown in, as the USAF was unloading all the spare military firepower they have onto the runway, whilst a lot of soldiers rushed to waiting vehicles in full combat gear.
Some of those vehicles looked like they could take a beating from Lung and still run, even if it was only to get away from him, others looked like they were designed to beat Kaiser and Hookwolf, and their gear looks more high-tech than anything Earth Bet had. Were they made by Tinker-tech? Or is this Earth so advanced because there's no PRT? So many questions and not many answers.
As the people from Brockton Bay were being cared for, several started pointing at something going on on the runway, drawing the attention of others to the USAF Brass Band that was forming up.
More than a few of the group yelled questions, trying to find out what was going on and why the band was forming like the base was about to receive a visit from the President or a Head of State.
It was only as the massive airplanes, things that made even the C-5 Galaxy or C-17 Globemaster look small, escorted by jets bearing the blue, white and red concentric circle marking of the RAF along with words 'Royal Air Force' on the large jets touching down on the runway.
The British were here.
Joining them were more heavy airlifters, Royal Canadian Air Force, Royal Australian Air Force, Republic of Singapore Air Force, Republic of South Africa Air Force, and the Indian Air Force, all of them the same designs and the same make and model, confusing more than a few Brockton Bay natives until one of them mentioned, all of those countries were all part of the Commonwealth of Nations.

Okay, so today has been one crazy thing after another, like seriously.
Bagrat said it best here in the thread about what was going on.
Since then the E88 decided en masse to be completely and utterly suicidal. I mean seriously suicidal.
There were apparently tanks guarding routes in and out of the city and a bunch of the racist assholes decided it would be a good idea to piss off the National Guard, on a planet where there's apparently a major terrorism problem!
Needless to say the Guard didn't take that lying down, so only about half the group of Nazis who went out came back.
I guess they did Nazi that coming, even if it was plain to most people a mile off.
Idiots.
Anyway, not long after that debacle, Undercover Cow made a comment about 'conventional ammunition' and LuckyBlackCat, who is apparently a native to this universe replied. Post in question is here for reference.
Is anyone else scared that the Commonwealth apparently not only have law enforcement (SPECTRE) for parahuman threats, but also a military response unit (PHANTOM)?
Anyway, after that we all get told to clear out, not sure why, but I can guess, and I guess we might well be saying 'goodbye' to old Brockton Bay.
Wards are some of the last to leave the city, right?
Well, passing the cordon line, we see some of the Canadians, [CENSORED], that was scary. By the time we got there, there was this group of winged lizards, taller than a tank, heaving one up so someone could replace one of the wheels on the track. I swear to god, every one of them looked like they could rip Squealer's scrap heaps apart barehanded.
We eventually get to Hanscom and there's more of them, and wolves and cats the same size, not even getting into what was on the tanks.
We also got a display of serious firepower. Three were these planes, so big I don't know how they flew, and came into a [CENSORED] Brass Band!
Seriously!
Not just RAF, but the RCAF, RIAF, RAAF, RSAAF… the amount of people they let out, and some of them pulled tanks, four of them a plane…
Just… wow…

KidWin Did you actually look at any of the videos on that YouTube channel LuckyBlackCat linked? Holy hell, I thought we had it bad with the likes of Lung, Kaiser, Oni Lee and Hookwolf. These people are our age and there's at least several videos of them getting involved in what looks like a full on gang fight, and they win… that's crazy!
And those are the videos that make sense!
Clockblocker, Reave, 15 Days to Retirement, I don't think those are Tinker Tech… I mean did you see the bird-lizard-man… whatever that type of Case 53 is, outside the base? That gun is pretty much go to weapon for them, and it makes Victor's sniper rifle look tame! Like holy [CENSORED] it punches through armoured cars like scrap metal!

KidWin, those would be the dragons, garou and cat-folk. There's five of the first group, and yes they can bench around 10 tons, so acting as a lift for a tank isn't insanely back.
Reave, 15 Days to Retirement. We don't have 'tinkers' in the way you seem to. Yes there are people who tinker, and some of them need smack upside the head, but the concepts are generally understood.
We've been using coil and rail guns along with lasers since about 1921/22 ish.
Vista, Say hello to Commonwealth Luck, specifically the Cadet's Curse. Yes that sort of thing happens, frequently.
Oh, and if the battlegroups are there, it's likely 1CBG and 2CBG along with 1BG and 2BG as backup if things go to hell. My siblings are in 1CBG, in the RAF 1st Dragons Wing.
Been looking at your opponents and I can say, two lightning rods, a lamebrain pyro and a wind user are likely in for some schooling. :P

Then again… I'm sure there's a few from Europe poking around who can tell you what the Commonwealth is like for annoying. It's not exactly a 'species' trait so much as a 'cultural' one. Check out the Commonwealth's war history if you want to know more

Vista Yes they did, aliens, and if you're talking about the one I think you are, I still don't know apart from a pain in the tail. As for the Nazis, the ones that actually believed that BS definitely needed killing, some, though, were just ordinary people. Not like there's not zombros in other nations, like the Triple-K or the Ultra Nationalist idiots.

Point_Me_ _The_Sky Had an invasion attempt, demon plant takeover and a bunch of displaced WWII era ships combined with sunk ships and sea monsters for my first three missions after getting powers, before then it was an annual thing, without the messes cadets find for me and my sister, including saving several high ranking people and clearing a load of vamps and demons from a town with a hell gate.

They do that, and I mean that seriously. I've been on more than a few of DaughteroftheWind's adventures, several of which were completely crazy, like 'sneak into a Youkai nest to rescue someone' or 'fight and kill the things you're sitting on while a thousand feet in the air' type crazy.
Granted the Germans still tend to cringe when one of them comes into the room, and we don't know what they did to the Iraqis, Argentinians or Viet Cong, but the Icelandic people love them.

There are far, far nastier things around than 'Capes', especially uppity ones who think they're better than others. Most of them tend to get et PDQ, and that's before the military is involved.

Only heard about the city, mostly because Norfolk was sending ships out to see what's going on up there. That said coming here? We have God, his Angels, Lucifer and various Devils and other gods roaming around. Hell, DaughteroftheWind's sister actually punched a demon in the nuts a few years ago and broke them, in spite of it being armoured like an M1, plus, the videos people suggested you look up earlier… yeah….

Vista Yup, more than that though, she's the unit commander :P. Ghrath and Geek are the same, but different types of unit, that's why Geek's got the (Verified Sergeant from Hell) tag. Ghrath normally has a (Dragon Wing Commander) tag, but I think he made an account rather than transferred it. Me, I look after planes, mostly the Sparks, but I can fly as well. Flew over one of the Gentle Thunders actually.

Standard way, just me and some of the other members of my unit running the stations. And the Thunder might be big, but it's not a slowpoke :P The NF-750 Aurora is a good engine, one of the RAF's standard ones.

Clockblocker KidWin Vista You're apparently stuck here for the time being, so I'm sure you can do some research on things, or talk to people after they've finished squishing some cockroaches. Let's just say that a century of development made for some interesting differences to some other worlds we've encountered, and left a lot of people scarred by and scared of the Commonwealth with good reason.
Just watch what happens, I'm sure you'll figure out why the majority of the world starts worrying whenever the Commonwealth starts bringing things to war readiness, though more than a few have reason to be thankful to members of the group as well.
