[ Luffy's pov ]

Roughly a year and a half after entering paradise we are walking through the underwater city of Fish-man Island when I ask. "You think I can see the royal family. That would be so cool."

Shanks laughed. "From a distance. Queen Otohime is getting petitions signed today so you will probably see her. However they are royalty so getting close is probably out."

Just then we hear an explosion and see smoke. As we rush to help I feel something inside that saiddie.In my head I see Otohime being shot. I look up at the ridge overlooking the plaza, and see a gun sticking out from behind some coal. ( Bam ) "No!!" Running towards Otohime I change faster than ever before to my half form. As I ran two guards got in front of me so I knocked them aside as I ran. Getting there just as her family does I grabbed her jumping high in the air. I unfulfilled my wings and spiral to dodge the bullets. 'Ocean, come on where. There!' I dive and start flapping hard as I can.

Otohime in a weak voice. "Ocean. Why?"

I think of all the times I used water to heal people as I feel two more bullets hit my legs. "Healing. Hang on a little longer." I see the water ahead as I hear her heart slowing down. Diving into the water I wrapped her in my wings to protect her from the impact. As we inter like a bullet I unwrap her and pump all my healing into her as hard as I can. When I do the strain is too much and I pass out.

[ time skip ]

[ Otohime pov ]

As I feel myself being shot I see my kids running towards me. Right as they get to me I feel myself picked up by something furry and hard. As I looked at the face of a bird I felt him thinking of the ocean. "Ocean. Why?" My mind is filled with images of him healing others. I try to hold on knowing it is over 200 yards to the nearest body of water. As we get closer I hear him say. "Healing. Hang on a little longer." I am about to drift off when I am violently jostled. Then I feel warm all over. As I open my eyes I see a boy around 10 years old letting go and drifting away from me. Then a big hand grabbed him by the neck dragging him out of the water. As I stick my head out I see Fukaboshi with the kid with his back pressed against the dirt. Fukaboshi's right hand around his throat, his other was drawn back to punch the kid. "Stop!" I yelled. As Fukaboshi looked at me other people showed up along with the rest of my family along with Shank's crew. "He saved my life don't hurt him." Pulling my blood soaked robe open slightly to reveal my chest with no bullet hole. "He needed seawater and their was no time to explain if he was to save me."

As Fukaboshi let's go, everyone starts rushing over to look at me. I see Shanks rushing in looking at Luffy. "Get him into the water now!" As his men take the boy into the water I see he has built holes in his legs, and a nasty red spot on the back of his head from the ground. Shanks tells us. "Water will help heal him."

"Shanks it isn't working as good as normal." One of his crew said.

As a crowd approaches us I tell Fukaboshi. "If he is stable. Get him and everyone to the palace."

My husband Neptune, Shanks, and myself are gathered around Luffy as he still hasn't woken up. He is neck deep in a pool of seawater. The bullets three of them have fallen out but the wounds while not bleeding still look bad.

Shanks runs his hand through his hair. "Damn it. I don't care what he says when he comes to I will make him give us some ambrosia for an emergency."

"What is ambrosia? We can get some if it will help."

Shanks laughed. "It is some special food from his mother. Not found here it would heal and strengthen him. But he won't let us keep any because he is afraid we might accidentally eat some."

"What happens if you eat some?"

Shanks looking worried. "Well a slaver we fought really made him mad because we found out he liked torturing his slaves for fun. Luffy brought him on the ship and gave him a piece in front of all of us. The man screamed for 30 seconds before bursting into flames a minute after that, the bones blew away. Luffy is different. That's all I can say on that. He must have sent all his energy into healing you."

As Neptune puts his hand on my shoulder I hear a groan.

Shanks getting next to Luffy. "Luffy can you hear me." Watching him nod weakly. "I need you to get some of your ambrosia from your pouch for you to eat." Watching him nod again. As he opened and reached into a pouch on his side Luffy pulled out a small yellow cube. As he eats it I see the wounds heal and his energy return. Reaching in again he pulled out another one to eat. When finished he still looks tired but now completely healthy.

Luffy spoke up. "Sorry Shanks, it was the only way. Hello miss sorry to scare you."

Neptune laughed. "It is us who owns you a debt but how did you use water to heal my wife Otohime?"

Luffy looked worried. "My mother comes from another dimension, or world. There are beings of great power there. My mother is one of them. She came here about 10 years ago, fell in love and had me. I am what they call a demigod. Half mortal half god. We get our parents power to a lesser degree. My mom is Hazel God of hurricanes and she is almost a carbon copy of my grandfather." Then luffy looked worried.

I ask. "Who is your grandfather?"

( gulp )

Luffy looked nervous. "I don't know how you will take this but Poseidon God of all the oceans."

As Neptune looked seriously at Luffy and asked. "Are you planning to take over."

Luffy goes pail. "No sir."

As Neptune stated to laugh I slap my husband. "That was a mean joke. Especially after he saved my life."

Luffy relaxing said. "I am not trying anything, I just didn't want her to die."

Shanks asked. "Did you see anything Luffy? I mean you acted so fast. "

Luffy looked confused. "I felt something in my head. The word (die) and I saw Otohime but from a high vantage point. When I looked up to where I felt like it was from I saw a gun around the overlooking ridge and a big piece of coral blocked the person holding the gun. But I did see a Fishman hand on the stock aiming then it fired."

Looking over I see Shanks with a concerned look as he speaks "observation haki. Well looks like we are making a detour to see if I can get you some special training."

I got mad while Shanks said this. 'Someone is framing humans. And the only witness is a human so nobody will believe him. Ok how to fix this.' Looking at Luffy I give him a pleading look. "Luffy, please let me tell my people about you. They think a human killed or shot at me. If they find out a human saved me it would help immensely to stop Fishman wanting to hurt or kill humans for this." As he looked at Shanks and he nodded. As Luffy smiled at me and nodded.

I leave and head to the nearest announcing snail.

I cleared my throat and began. "People of Fish-man Island, this is Queen Otohime. I know everyone is wondering what happened. I don't know everything but I want to tell you what I do know. I was shot in the chest and I would not be here now if a human did not risk his life being shot multiple times to save me. He has abilities because of his bloodline that allowed seawater to heal people. He had no time to tell us so he grabbed me. In fact he used all the power he currently had available to heal me leaving nothing to heal himself after being shot multiple times. He just came to and is now headed but tired. We will never know the real reason I was shot: greed, hate, vengeance, or something entirely different because he is dead. Killed by the guard who found him. However I do know the one who almost died to save me did so because he believed it was the right thing to do. He doesn't see race, just a person who needed help. That is all I have to say thank you for your prayers someone must have heard and sent Luffy to save me." Smiling, I take a breath. 'If I would have died you would be set, but now prepare for a propaganda war. You messed with the wrong person.

[ Luffy's POV ]

Mom looked worried. "I have another weapon for you."

My mind flashes back to 4 years ago when I got my sword Undertow. Undertow is a Spartan Falcata which is a Spartan Warriors Sword supposedly used by King Leonidas of the city of Sparta long ago. It was similar to a pirate scimitar but different. Made from Celestial Bronze Undertow from tip to end of the handle it is 36in. From tip to guard is 28in long flat blade 3/8in thick. It is double edged at the tip. The sharp part on the front and back doesn't go the full length of the blade. On the back it is sharp from the tip to the widest part of the blade at the back arch 14 in from the tip then squared off the rest of the way to the hilt. The front sharp side is 20in long and slightly curved. From the tip it slowly gets deeper then more so near the ridge at the deepest part of the blade it is 4in. Then it quickly goes down to 3in for another 6in till the front sharp part stops then the front metal pulls back to 2in from the back of the blade and squares off for another 8in to the handle this I learned is called a ricasso that acts as the neck of the blade, extending its reach and lowering its weight. The hilt is different from the classic design but still simple 8in long, no fancy pattern or flair, a 1in wide guard. 4.5in to the front of the hand guard that goes down the whole length of the handle to the base but is 1/4in deep towards the grip. Where it connects again to a 1in wide base 1in wide by 4.5in to the back of the hilt. This ends up leaving 6in for the hand to grip.

At first thought I believed Hephaestus did not know what he was doing. But after practicing with it I found it fit my style perfectly. It had the cleaving power of an axe and the dexterity of a sword. Plus the curvature and the double edged blade was exceptional at stabbing. I was concerned about the blade not going to the hilt but the ricasso did increase the speed greatly and I found with the added range and dexterity also my sword style I never used that area. With this weapon I could dismember multiple enemies easily.

Hephaestus also used Poseidon's blood at his request. Underwater it works better than on land. As if the sword funnels water around it like I do in swimming to slice faster. Also where I am stronger for 5 min Undertow cuts through things twice as easy for 15 minutes after I come out of the sea. It is a sword truly worthy of a demigod of the sea.

Mom cleared her throat. "Hephaestus said Zeus had one of his lesser lighting bolts remade into this Colt Walker Model 1847 Celestial Bronze revolver. However he said well he said you would have to accept it personally." Holding out a case 1ft long 4in tall 8in deep case.

As I place my hand on the case and I find myself on a balcony overlooking a magnificent city in the sky. Looking around I find a man in a toga with a full white beard staring at me. Realising who it is I neal.

Zeus raises an eyebrow. "I did not expect that from a descendant of Poseidon."

"While I may be defiant to some people. it would not be prudent in front of someone who may have given me a? Gift?"

Laughing Zeus smiled. "You do not disappoint young demigod rise. Though you are only half correct. I would like to offer you some information before I ask you a question." As I nod he continued. "When your mother left there was great trouble in our world for those 4 years. Not just because Hazel left, but because other gods did as well." My eyes go wide. "Some split themselves with others who did not know how to go in their full form. That is why I won't allow anyone to stay for 4 years. You may have even met some of their children." Giving a stern look. "Now tell me have you noticed anything in your history lessons?"

"Yes the power struggle was evenly balanced till about 30 some years ago. While there have always been great powers in this world on average they have been increasing at a steady pace that is up until 30 years ago. Then they jumped ahead at a faster rate first the pirates, then marines, then emperors and warlords, then the revolutionary. After that the cycle would repeat. Each time one party gaining some knowledge or skills to tip the balance."

Zeus' smile increased then turned and looked at his city. "Shanks has taught you well. Yes even I have played a hand in this. I favored a young man with a boon of a fruit giving him the power of lightning. Asking him to worship me. He turned away declared himself God and claimed a sky Island as his." Crossing his arms and looking at me. "With our laws and the door open only every 4 years I can't smite him directly." Giving me a wicked grin. "But i can give a demigod a quest. He is building something that will take some time to complete. When your crew is in Paradise certain paths will take you there. If you accept to end him the gun is yours along with it never running out of bullets, it has incredibly long range even farther than your eyesight, and the repair ability your mothers blood allowed. It can also shoot lightning to incapacitate or kill. And if you put haki into it it will do even more."

"Why are you giving me so much? This is an exceptional gift, or reward sir?"

Sighing Zeus looks at his city again. "I wanted to help increase the greek power over there, but in my haste to achieve that I corrupted him. I have watched your history and believe giving you some support is wise. Also I wish to fix that other mistake." Giving me a stare as I feel my hair stand on end. "If you tell anyone that I said either of those things you will regret it." As lightning is running through his hair.

Bowing on one knee. "I accept. Though I would do this for you without the gift if it helped people."

Zeus chuckles. "I know you would probably get that from your mother. She is a caring God temporing the storms to save many lives when she can. But how is that new fangled saying people are using now." Rubbing his beard. "Oh yes. Two birds with one stone. You get a ranged weapon worthy of you without looking like I favored you. I get something cleaned up. Win, win." Holding out his hand. "Deal?"

Shaking his hand. "Deal."

As I find myself standing where I started, a gun on my side. My hand outstretched, and my hair standing on end smoking.

Hazel stared at me in shock. "You spoke to Zeus?"

Trying to get my hair mack down. "Yea apparently when I get to the grand line he has a job for me. That's all I can say."

As she looks at me she nods. Then gives me a big hug. "My boy has a quest! Oh wait until I tell everyone back home. What is it about? "

Grabbing her by the shoulders. "What it is about is private! " Watching her pouting. I give her my calm still look. "Between me and him is all I can say."

As she brightens up. "At least I know he is not standing against you. I also have a more advanced bag of holding."

as I attached it to my left side it looked like a leather pouch 6in long 2in tall. I ask what is different. She tells me it has some special differences. It has 6 times more space and if I put my left hand in and hold out my right hand something bigger than what will fit in the opening will enter or leave the pouch. As I see her worried. "What is wrong."

Sighing mom answered. "There are some other gifts in there for some people you will meet. With messages for only that person like Zeus did with you."

Smiling "I hope Nami gets something good." As mom's jaw hit the ground. "Shishishi. It wasn't too hard to figure her out with the wind almost carrying me by itself when she and I go up. Though Zeus said there are others out there as well. I have a feeling not all will be good." Mom smiled.

[ Time skip ]

[ Luffy's POV ]

I am calmly meditating one morning two days after my mom left. When someone walked up. Without opening my eyes I asked Yasopp a question. "Ok what is it? You know I don't like my morning meditation disturbed. "

Looking nervous he clears his throat. "My son has a problem and really needs some help for a friend of his."

"Ok so why do you come to me about this? We are in the new world for pete's sake. " Looking at him.

Watching Yasopp as he looked concerned. "My son likes this girl whose parents are rich merchants who recently did not show up at the next port of call a few days ago.There was a huge storm and they aren't responding to any snail communication. She is distraught and he really loves her. Do you think you could go and find them."

"I suppose I can look, but you know as good as I do she may not like what I find. Have her and Usopp meet me at the shore. I healed your wife. Also tell her I need something they have worn recently that has not been washed. Along with the name of the port they were heading towards." As I change to my full form I take to the skies. I have a long flight ahead of me.

[ time skip ]

[ Luffy's POV ]

A day a half later I am circling the beach. I see the shore and above the beach on a ridge. It is a tent with two people by a fire and someone in the bushes watching. I go offshore and I dip in the water swimming to shore and walk up the slope to their campsite. As they are both started. She looks at Usopp worried. "You have gotten bigger, but just as skinny as your dad Usopp." Smiling at him.

Usopp smiled. "Luffy you got big. Thank you for coming." As he reached out his hand I made no move to return the gesture.

"Do you mind telling me why someone is hiding in the bushes with a pistol." As both seem to be shocked at this. Pointing to where he is.

As I see a man step out of the bushes with a pistol in his hand. He looked as if his head was a sheep. Not sure if it was his hair or something else. "What are your plans with Lady Kaya?"

"I don't like having a gun pointed at me when asked to come and help. I get very grumpy after a day and half long flight. So if you don't want me to reconsider finding her parents I suggest you lower the gun." Dropping the mist of common clothes revealing my armor with a sword on my left side and pistol on my right. Black scarf covering everything on my face but my eyes. Seeing the gun shaking in his hands I say. "Your call."

"Merry put away the gun right now!" Kaya screamed. Watching as Merry flinch she gets between me and him facing Merry. "Give it to me!" As he gave her the gun I kept focused on her. she turned to me and said. "When Usopp first told me he knew someone who could help I thought it was another tall tale. Then he took me to his mother who told me you healed her. I always thought Yasopp brought something back that healed her some sort of a miracle cure. I never thought It would be a person." Handing me the gun she kept in a reverse grip.

I say to her. "you can keep the gun mis Kaya. I find it commendable to his loyalty to you. As I said I have had a long flight and I get grumpy. I am sorry. It is a long way from the new world. Also it is only because Usopp trusted you that I revealed my face. I trust you and your family will not betray that trust till I set sail for real as to what I look like." Changing back to a red vest and blue jeans, bare feet and face uncovered. "Did you get something they were and where were they headed?"

As Kaya reaches in a bag and sits the gun down she pulls out a man's jacket, and a shawl. "They were heading to the Goa kingdom. These are my parents. How will this help? "

As I looked at Merry, keeping a close eye on me I answered. "Now that I know I can trust all of you here." I step back into my Griffin form which is now a full 8ft tall at my back. "I mean no harm it is easier to fix the scent in my nose this way." As I bend my head down and sniff the fabric I tell them. "Usually eagles aren't known for their smell however I have the traits of a lion as well. If they are out there I will find them." As I jump into the air I take off to the Goa kingdom.

Two hours later I smile as I smell something familiar. 20 minutes Later I am high up in the night sky looking down on a familiar piece of land. The fire is almost died out, and there are 3 lookouts around the far sides of the island. In total there's three females 5 mails. I wonder why I can tell the difference so easily. 'I can't wait to see Nami again.' Changing into my half form and gliding in slowly glad there Is no full moon tonight. Landing at the top I use the mist to cover me in a black Ninja outfit and lessen.

"Martin I know it is risky to try and scale the cliff to the water again, but we have no choice. Our food is almost gone, we are barely holding on. The firewood is almost gone and I think another storm is coming. Without the fire at night we will not be seen by a ship." A woman said.

"Don't you think I know that. I don't have the answers the last two times we tried. I broke my arm and Helena cut up her leg and the wave pushed her into the rock face. And we only speared three fish. Look, I and Frank can hold the rope. But that only leaves you and Susan light enough to lower and Susan is getting sicker from the cut on her arm." Martin said.

"So we are just going to wait and die out here? There has got to be something we can do?" The woman said.

Martin takes a deep breath. "We will try in the morning." You can't see at night.

Having heard enough I change to a casual white shirt and bluejeans. With leather shoes. Walking down from the hill in the center I speak up. "How about another option that isn't so risky?" As everyone looks at me one remains in the bed as two others get up wearability. A man clutching his side hard holding a gun. Martin pulled out a rifle. "If I wanted to kill you you wouldn't see it coming. I mean you no harm." Holding my arms up and turning around appearing unarmed. 'Thank Aphrodite for the mist. Good to hide weapons as long as they are put away.' Smiling and watching them relax.

The man doesn't lower the gun. "How did you get here?"

"I flew. A friend asked me to find and help the parents of a girl he likes. Because I want to help him out I came." As they look puzzled I continue. "The option I propose is I get some fish and wood for someone to start cooking. Then I take one person at a time to heal in the water. After that we rest for the remainder of the night. In the morning I take everyone to a safe place."

As Martin kept his gun in his hands but lowered it. "Fly us out of here right?" Squinting at me.

"That was the plan before but I can't carry everyone. And I don't like leaving people here to die so I will raise a ship to carry all of us to some place safe." As his eyes go wide at my implications of who I am. "Yes that is me and yes I am tired after coming all the way from the new world." As the rest of the survivors get nervous. "All I ask is you keep my face a secret for another year. After that I don't care. So if everyone is OK with it I will get some fish."

Martin looks at everyone. "Can you promise they will be safe?"

"Shishishi, sorry you're bringing back old memories of someone long ago who asked me the same thing on this very same rock." As the lookouts have come to see what is going on I continue. " When I was a boy I found three people here, one older man and two kids. They were worse off than you. Memories. Yes everyone including you." As he lowered the gun I walked past the skewers and took three of them. "Be right back."

Five minutes later I returned with all three skewers full to the brim through the flat part of the fish. "Ok who is cooking while I heal and get firewood with someone?"

Martin speaks up. "Kevin is the worst off with his ribs."

I walked up to the man he indicated and handed Ceanya the fish. "I hate this part but I have to give you a kiss so you can breathe." As he nodded I gave him a quick kiss and we jumped.

Five minutes later we showed back up with me holding him in my arms as I rocketed out of the water up and over the ridge. landing on my feet. Sitting him down he asked me. "How are you going to get the wood dry?" Willing the wood dry the water runs off.

Grabbing the next person I repeat the process. The two girls wanted longer kisses. Susan tried to slip some tongue in but the thought of Nami and Nojiko kept me from going farther. After everyone is healthy and eating I sit down. To rest pulling out a piece of ambrosia. As I put it in my mouth one of the crew Susan I think asked. "Can have some of what you are eating."

"Only if you can reach into my pouch and get some. Otherwise it will kill you." As she looked at me in shock I responded. "I am not trying to be rude. I recently learned that there are others like me over here. So there is a chance you can reach in to get some out."

Susan asked. "What do you mean like you?"

"My mother is from another world and is a God apparently other gods have come over here and had children also. If you aren't a demigod you can't reach in my pouch and their food will kill you. Heck it will even kill me if I eat too much."

Everyone looked horrified as Susan asked. "Why eat it then? "

"It heals me and gives me a good deal of energy back so I can do the things I have done today. It also tastes the same as the best thing I have ever eaten." Smiling at her. "I have used a lot of energy today, and need a recharge."

Ceanya speaks up. "Is it true you flew all the way from the grand line just for us?"

"Shure Usopp said you needed help so I came. He really cares for your daughter. He didn't want her to lose you. I never have met my father, and I only get to see my mother for a week every four years. Sure I have had people in my life like family but to lose them." Looking at the stars. "You have a very loyal butler in Merry. He even drew a gun on me." As they looked worried and I smiled. "I really like meeting people so devoted to others. He would gladly die to protect Kaya, and she standed up to him like a pro. I admire that. Even if it wasn't for Usopp I would come to find you for their actions alone." Watching everyone smile and relax. "Let's try to get some sleep. We will need it. As they sleep I take watch. I may trust them to a point, but Shanks always said never let your guard completely down around strangers.

In the morning everyone gathered their stuff. "I am going to raise a cargo ship nearby that has moderate damage to the hull. Get ready to come on board." Diving into the water I get on the boat. I concentrate on raising it to the surface. Once everyone is on board I set sail.

Martin comes up to me. "This is our cargo ship. Can you get it home?" Looking hopeful.

"Too much damage, having trouble keeping it afloat. I am heading to the Baratie, a floating restaurant I know will take a half a day. Get everything that still has value ready to disembark. I am sure Zeff will help from there. Also if anyone can help with the ship's rigging I can conserve energy."

As Martin gives out orders Ceanya comes up. "Anything I can do to help?"

"I don't mean to sound rude but if any provisions survived I would appreciate some. Can't eat too much ambrosia, and I am getting hungry." Smiling at her.

Later we are near Zeff's place. Most of the stuff has been brought on deck surprisingly Most was a lot of wines or preserved jams or Jared items still in the crates. The ship sank in shallow enough water to not crush the jars. I ate some canned meat along with some water. The people helped with the rigging making it easier by the time we docked I was sweating like crazy. I tell them. "Unload everything as quickly as possible. I can't keep her afloat for long." 20 minutes later everything of value is unloaded with the help of Zeff's crew. As I step off of the boat it starts to sink less than 2 minutes later it is gone. I turn to Zeff. "Hay Zeff can I have food for everyone and can you help them get back home?"

Zeff gives me a stern look. "On one condition. You sit down for dinner and have a drink with me. No leaving early." As he looked down at me very sternly. I see the people's shocked faces.

"Ok but in the morning I have to leave. Can't slack on training."

As Zeff smiles and turns to his men. "You heard it. Prepare a meal fit for a king and his Court! because this man can eat." As his cook's cheer and rushes in to work.

"So Zeff where are Sanji and Lanju?" Looking around.

Zeff rubbing his beard. "They should be back by now because they went for supplies 4 days ago. They haven't called so I am not worried. Though Lanju will be furious, she missed you. She keeps every wanted poster you have ever gotten."

I smile. 'I bet she is quite beautiful.' "You will have to tell her I am sorry I missed her. Mind if I sit down I have been busy."

[ time skip ]

[ Martin's pov ]

It is lunch and I can hardly believe we're alive. Luffy left this morning and I can't believe he came here. Ceanya and I have called Kaya and she was ecstatic that he found us. Zeff even offered to buy some of our goods since we didn't meet the deadline for delivery and the customer would not take the shipment. Zeff even sets up a regular delivery order so Sanji and Lanju would not have to leave as often.

As I see the two arrived there having an argument. The girl is 5ft 6in tall blond short hair blue eyes. A dark blue button up shirt three buttons open in the front exposing her ample cleavage over her d cup breasts. A leather vest opens in the front no sleeve. Tight shorts hugging her rear but the legs are loose fitting. Long low heel boots that go halfway up to her knees, but are open around the legs.

Hearing Lanju tell Sanji. "I told you that blue Haired tattooed woman was playing you, but oh no you have to be a gentleman and help her. While she robbed you blind! I swear your hormones are going to be the death of me! You are just lucky that there was a dart throwing contest starting up and nobody recognized me.
