In the future, the Human World is connected by a Network.
Inhabiting it is an unknown life form called Digimon.
A Cyberterrorism incident suddenly hit Houston.
This was just the beginning for the boy, Lucas Blake, and the mysterious life forms living within the Network, Digimon.
Lucas teamed up with his friends and Agumon, the Digimon he bonded with.
They stopped a military missile crisis caused by an unknown Digimon and succeeded in protecting mankind.
The children's small adventure came to an end.
They returned to their lives as if it was all a dream… to a peaceful Summer vacation.
However, disaster strikes again.
An unidentified power outage spreads in Houston.
The City is about to completely stop functioning in 72 hours.
They are the only ones who can stop it.
Lucas wishes strongly and calls out Agumon's name.
To fight together once more…
-Digital World-
Lucas was now in a new world and he had reunited with Agumon.
In the skies, giant blue Bird-like Digimon with lightning markings are flying around. Brachiosaur-like Digimon with stitches on their mouth and a reverse curved horn on top of their heads. Not all of the Digimon are big as there are small Digimon flying around closely to the ground. And Stegosaurus-like the Digimon that formed a herd.
Lucas was in awe at the new world he ended up in.
Lucas: The Digital… World…
Agumon approached the awed boy as Lucas turned to him.
Agumon: Welcome, Lucas.
Lucas nodded at Agumon, happy to see him again.
Lucas: Agumon, good to see you again. Oh!
Lucas then realized that there was someone missing as he looked around, before looking back at his device.
Agumon: What's wrong?
Lucas: It's Mike! Another disaster occured in our world, and he should've come here with me to stop it…
?: Huh?
Lucas and Agumon then heard someone close to them. To Lucas' surprise, it was Emily as she tried to pull her shopping bag that got stuck in the bushes.
Lucas: Emily?!
Emily managed to free her bag before looking around, until she caught sight of Lucas and went to him.
Emily: Oh, Lucas! Where are we? Overseas? My phone won't work… Looks like it won't turn on.
Emily checked her phone while Lucas was still surprised that Emily was here instead of Mike.
Lucas: How come? Why is it you instead of Mike?
Emily didn't understand what Lucas was talking about, until her eyes caught sight of Agumon that was standing near Lucas' side.
Emily: Hey, is that… possible a dinosaur?
Agumon: I'm a Digimon!
Emily became surprised to hear Agumon speak.
Emily: You can speak?!
Lucas: This is Agumon!
Emily looked back at Agumon calmly, trying to process what she's seeing.
Emily: Agumon?
Lucas' device then glowed a little without his notice, and then the boy felt something. Like it's telling him to go a certain direction. Lucas turned to that direction and saw a stone slab with Digi-codes written on it. Lucas then went to it as the others followed.
Emily: I wonder what this is…
Once again without anyone noticing, Lucas' device glowed again. Then the writing on the slab glowed as well for just a moment.
Lucas: "Children, come to the place where the light leads you."
Episode 4: Birdramon Soars
Lucas then realized that he somehow translated the words in the slab despite not knowing it to his confusion.
Lucas: Huh? How was I able to read that?
Lucas' device then started to glow again which this time everyone noticed. An orange beam of light came out of it and went straight to a rainbow colored mountain. Everyone watched it as the light dissipated.
Lucas: I guess it means to head that way…
Agumon: What do we do, Lucas?
Lucas: The reason why we came to this world, and the source of the problem in Houston… Do the answers lie beyond there?
Emily looked at the rainbow colored mountain before looking back at Lucas.
Emily: I don't really understand this… But if there's no other choice, we have to go, right?
Lucas smiled as he knew his childhood friend was right.
Lucas: That's true. There's no time to think… So let's just head on over!
With that decision made, Lucas, Agumon and Emily began their journey towards the Rainbow Mountain, hoping to find the answers there.
Everywhere they go there are Digimon around, like the herd of Stegosaurus Digimon passing through.
Lucas: I didn't know there were so many different Digimon!
Agumon pointed Lucas to the herd that's passing by.
Agumon: That's Stegomon!
They then heard a sound and saw a large Brachiosaurus Digimon eating as it looked at them.
Lucas: So huge!
Agumon: That's Brachiomon. They're incredibly strong.
Emily: You two, I'm leaving you guys behind!
It was true since Lucas and Agumon stopped to watch, Emily went on ahead.
But then Emily stopped as she heard cries coming from the rustling plants.
Emily: Huh?
As Emily turned to the cries, the one who made it came out of the plants and jumped right into Emily's arms.
Emily: You scared me…
Though Emily was just surprised than scared as she looked at the Digimon in her arms.
She's a pink Bird Digimon with arm-like wings, a feather mane, a red beak, blue stripes on her crests, blue borders on two of her head feathers as well as her tail feathers, yellow legs, and red claws on her wings and feet. She also wears a metallic ring on her left leg.
Emily: Are you a Digimon too?
But then suddenly, purple energy blades cut the bushes apart, and coming out of it was a huge creature. Lucas and Agumon noticed that and ran towards Emily and the Bird Digimon.
Lucas: What's that?!
Agumon: That's...
Flying above the girls is a giant green Mantis-like Digimon with sharp scythes, two long red stripes going above his eyeless face with a small red stripe in the middle, two red antennas above his head, a gray lower jaw with sharp teeth like a predator Beast, and two Insect-like wings that's helping him fly.
Agumon: Snimon!
The Snimon was drooling as it raised its scythes and screeched.
Snimon: (Screech)...!
Lucas, Agumon, and Emily with the Bird Digimon started running as Snimon began chasing them.
Lucas: What's this all of a sudden?!
Agumon: Snimon thinks we stole its food!
Lucas turned back at the snapping Snimon as it then launched purple energy blades at them. The attack sent them flying but Lucas and Agumon were able to land on their feet as they confronted Snimon.
Lucas: Agumon!
Agumon: Yeah!
The Dinosaur Digimon launched a fireball at the approaching Snimon.
Agumon: Pepper Breath!
The attack hit Snimon's face, but it didn't do any damage to it nor even slow it down.
Emily and the Bird Digimon were on their knees as they held one another. Emily was worried while the Bird Digimon was scared. Lucas and Agumon stood in front of them to protect them.
Lucas: Emily, go on ahead!
Snimon began attacking them again while Lucas had a stick in his hands.
Snimon stopped in front of Lucas as he began attacking him by swinging his stick. But Snimon didn't have to do much effort as he simply blocked the stick with just one scythe. After Lucas swung the stick down, Snimon cut it in half with a swipe of his scythe, to Lucas' shock.
Agumon: Pepper Breath!
Agumon launched a couple of fireballs that this time pushed Snimon back a little.
Agumon: Lucas, now's our chance too!
Lucas: Right!
Lucas and Agumon began running after Emily until they found her and the Bird Digimon standing in front of a cliff. Beneath it is a river.
Emily: What do we do, Lucas!
Lucas knew there's no other path to run from Snimon so there's no other choice.
Lucas: We jump. Emily, you good?
Emily: Yeah!
The girl crouched in front of the worried Bird Digimon as she gave her a gentle smile.
Emily: You too… okay?
The Bird Digimon wasn't so sure, but then she hugged Emily again when she heard Snimon's roar. The girl grabbed her in her arms and she and boys jumped down the river, just as Snimon passed above them.
The girls held their eyes close as they fell. But as they did the Bird Digimon opened her blue eyes and looked at the girl who's protecting her, until they widened as she recognized her. They all then crashed in the river, causing Snimon to lose sight of them.
A while later…
Lucas and Agumon: Achoo!
After letting the river carry them, the small group got out of the waters as they tried to dry themselves up. Lucas and Agumon are feeling a little cold as evident by the sneeze. While Emily was resting with the Bird Digimon sleeping beside her after all that excitement. Emily put her cap down and let her blonde hair loose as they were all wet.
Emily: Ah, we're saved…
She then looked at the sleeping Digimon and took out a wet handkerchief and put it on her head. All while Lucas looked at her.
Lucas: Is everyone okay?
Emily: Yeah. Thanks to you and Agumon. You two looked cool fighting back there! You guys make a great team.
Agumon wrapped his claw on Lucas' arm and looked at each other, as they both knew that what Emily said was true.
After that, they both build a campfire so the heat dries them faster. As they waited, Lucas told Emily everything, about how they learned about the Digimon, as well how they saved Houston from the missile.
Emily: I see now. So you and Mike were secretly talking about Digimon all this time.
The girl then looked around at the place, including the Rainbow Mountain they were supposed to go. She took a deep breath as she took in the place with a smile.
Emily: But how strange. Who would've thought a world like this existed inside the Net?
Suddenly, Lucas' device started beeping which caught everyone's attention. Lucas pulled out his device and out came a hologram of Mike with his laptop.
Lucas: Mike!
Mike: Lucas! I'm so glad I made contact!
-The Network-
Mike was in the same world Lucas ended a few days ago as he talked with boy's hologram from his device.
Lucas: Where are you right now?!
Mike: I think I'm at the same place you wound up last time. And you?
Lucas: A place called the Digital World, supposedly. There are tons of Digimon and there's nature. It feels completely different from your side. Oh, Emily's here too!
Now that surprised Mike.
Mike: Uh, Emily's with you?
At this, Emily appeared alongside Lucas in the hologram as well as Agumon.
Emily: Hi, Mike!
Agumon: Hello!
-The Digital World-
Mike: I can't believe Emily's there too.
Emily poked playfully at Mike's hologram.
Emily: Are you surprised? I am too!
?: Hello there!
Lucas, Emily, and Agumon became surprised at the new voice.
Appearing beside Mike is a red Ladybug-like Insectoid Digimon. He's bipedal with four arms with grey talons at the end of the first pair. He has large, green eyes, mouth-like mandibles, and two yellow antennae reaching out from his head. His elytra is covered with grey spines. His mouth and torso has a brownish green coloration with black muscles in the lower face, neck, the brachium of his arms, and his thighs.
Tentomon: It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Tentomon.
-The Network-
Lucas: Tentomon?
Tentomon: So you're Lucas! Thank you for looking after Mike.
Mike: I met Tentomon over here and learned many things. It seems like the Digital World lies behind some sort of gate in the most deepest part of the Network World.
Mike then checked in his laptop, showing the problems that are occurring in the Real World.
Mike: Lucas, Houston's power outage is gradually spreading as I expected. There's approximately 72 hours until a complete blackout… Before the City comes to a halt, we must identify the cause.
Lucas nodded at this, but he has something else he needs to inform Mike.
Lucas: Mike, at the moment we have someplace to go.
-The Digital World-
Lucas: We might be able to get a hold of some clues there.
Mike: I understand. There must be a reason why we came to this world. If I find anything new, I'll notify you right away.
Lucas: Yeah, we're counting on you, Mike.
Tentomon: Then see you again!
The hologram then ended as Emily stood back up and pointed at the Rainbow Mountain up ahead.
Emily: The light was pointing towards that mountain, so I think we'll reach it if we go along this river.
Lucas noticed how far the Rainbow Mountain is from here.
Lucas: It'll take forever if we walk.
Agumon: Hmm…
Agumon crossed his arms as he tried to think of an idea, but Emily beat him to it.
Emily: Oh yeah!
Emily then took out the contents of her shopping bag, revealing lots of stuff that are used for camping.
Emily: I was on my way home from shopping. I went to buy emergency supplies but I ended up buying other things too.
Emily tied her long blonde hair into a ponytail again and put back on her cap. Lucas was also testing some small Binoculars which he liked.
Lucas: Wow, these are perfect!
Emily then picked up a rope and a multitool knife.
Emily: Found it! We'll make a raft. For river rafting!
Lucas: Ooh! Let 's go with that! Agumon, give me a hand! First, we get the wood!
Agumon: Okay!
Lucas took the rope and tool and then he and Agumon began running towards the forest, leaving Emily alone with the Bird Digimon. Speaking of her, she opened her blue eyes and sat up and looked around.
Emily: I'm glad you're awake!
The Bird Digimon turned to Emily and her eyes widened as she saw her.
?: Emily…
Emily: Huh?
The girl was surprised that the Digimon knew her name. The teary eyed Bird Digimon then jumped into her arms and hugged her.
?: Emily! I'm Biyomon! I was waiting for you, Emily!
Emily: For me?
The girl was surprised at this as she didn't expect for Biyomon to know and wait for her.
A while later, the small group successfully built the raft and were now sailing on the river as Lucas is using a long stick to control its movements.
Emily: The breeze feels great.
Biyomon: Yeah.
Lucas: Don't fall off, Agumon!
Agumon: I'll be fine, Lucas.
Lucas and Agumon were in the front of the raft, while Emily and Biyomon were behind as the Human girl enjoyed the scenery.
Biyomon: Emily…
Emily turned to Biyomon as the Bird Digimon gave her a grateful smile.
Biyomon: Thank you for saving me earlier. It felt really warm to be in your arms…
The young girl was surprised at Biyomon's words.
Biyomon: I'll fight next time too!
Emily couldn't help but smile at that.
Emily: All right. Let's fight together, Biyomon.
Biyomon: Okay!
Lucas smiled at the two becoming good friends now, until he noticed a rapid stream up ahead.
Lucas: It's a rapid stream! Hang on tight!
Emily and Biyomon held on together as the ride became quite jumpy. Lucas and Agumon tried not to fall as the Human boy continued steering the raft. The raft then hit a rock on the way. Luckily it didn't cause the raft to break but Agumon was getting really scared as he grabbed his head in fear.
Lucas continued steering the raft until he noticed a small tunnel up ahead.
Lucas: Everyone duck!
Everyone lowered their heads as they entered the tunnel until they exit at the other side. Lucas and Agumon thought it was over until the Dinosaur Digimon noticed something up ahead.
Lucas and everyone else saw that they were going straight towards one large data cube.
Agumon: Claw Attack!
With a powerful swipe of his claw, Agumon destroyed the data cube into pieces. They continued on until the river finally calmed down. The girls sighed in relief now that it was over.
Emily: Looks like we're okay now.
Lucas and Agumon sat on the raft to relax after all that excitement.
Lucas: We made it out somehow…
Sadly they weren't out of the woods yet as Agumon sensed something is coming.
Agumon: It's not over yet, Lucas!
Beneath the group a shadow suddenly appeared under the raft which Lucas noticed.
Lucas: There's something there!
Lucas and Agumon stood on guard as the shadow disappeared, until it jumped out of the water from their left.
It was an Ancient looking Fish with a grey exoskeleton, a peach underside which isn't covered by the exoskeleton, black claws on his arms that have small fines on their sides, and blue eyes.
Agumon: Coelamon!
The Coelamon dived back in the water which made a wave that pushed the raft and the unexpected jolt caused Lucas to lose the stick.
Coelamon jumped again and this time going above the group. It dove back on the water which shook the raft again.
The kids and the Digimon held on until Coelamon went straight at them now. Agumon knew what's going on in Coelamon's mind.
Agumon: We're not your food! Pepper Breath!
Agumon launched fireballs at Coelamon, but the attack couldn't do anything against his armor.
Coelamon jumped again and twirled around, before slapping Agumon off the raft with his clawed fin.
Agumon: AAAAAAH!
Lucas: Agumon!
Coelamon immediately went after the flying Agumon and opened his jaws wide to eat him. But Lucas wouldn't let that happen as he jumped off the raft and went after them.
Lucas: Agumon!
Lucas' device then glowed as Agumon's evolution was initiated.
Agumon was hit by a beam from Lucas' device and was engulfed in light. His Fresh and In-Training forms were seen until a glowing silhouette appeared around him.
"Agumon, Digivolve to…"
Agumon then burst into data as it filled the silhouette until it gained a physical form. His brown exoskeleton formed in his head and sprouted a nosehorn and two horns on the side of his head and opened his red eyes.
"Greymon!"
Greymon made his reappearance and landed on Coelamon's back, pushing him underwater. Emily was shocked at seeing Agumon change form.
Emily: Digivolution?
Greymon then rises back up from the water with Lucas now on his head.
Lucas: He, Greymon!
Coelamon's tail then came out of the water and was about to slap Greymon, but he blocked it with his arms. Greymon and Lucas then dived underwater until Greymon came back up holding Coelamon above his head.
Emily was awed at Gremon's and Lucas' fight.
Emily: Incredible!
But then Biyomon noticed something else was coming and looked above, a shadow was covering the raft. Emily looked at where Biyomon was looking and saw a familiar enemy above them.
Biyomon: Snimon!
Snimon: (Screech)...!
It's true as Snimon came back to get his meal and dived at where the girls are. Emily held Biyomon in her arms but that didn't stop Snimon from destroying the raft with a swipe of its scythes. And to make things worse, he got Biyomon in his jaws.
Biyomon: AAAAAAHH!
Lucas: Biyomon!
Lucas and Greymon couldn't do anything to save her as they were busy locking claws with Coelamon.
Emily: Biyomon!
Biyomon: Huh?!
Biyomon then surprised to sees that Emily was holding on Snimon's leg.
Biyomon: Emily?!
Emily: Hold on! I'm coming right now!
Emily began climbing on Snimon as Biyomon watched on.
Biyomon: No, Emily! It 's dangerous!
Emily: Don't give up! Remember? You said let's fight together. I won't give up… so you can't either!
Biyomon: Emily…
Biyomon was touched by Emily's words and nodded with determination in her eyes.
But then Snimon noticed Emily and tried to shake her off or hit her with his scythes. Biyomon then managed to worm away from Snimon's jaws and fired her signature attack at him.
Biyomon: Spiral Twister!
Biyomon send a spiral of green flames that Snimon's face. This did hurt him but the movements he made caused Emily to lose her grip and started falling down.
Biyomon: Emily!
Emily: Biyomon!
Biyomon flew down after Emily stretched out her hand, and then so did Biyomon. When the two hands grasped one another a red light appeared, along with a device that has a heart shaped crest on the screen.
The two girls then hugged one another as the red light engulfed them.
"Biyomon, Digivolve too…"
Biyomon started to Digivolve as her Fresh and In-Training form showed. A glowing silhouette formed around her and then she burst into data, filling the silhouette and giving it physical form. Her wings were on fire and she opened up her blue eyes.
"Birdramon!"
As Greymon continued to wrestle with Coelamon, Lucas watched on top of Greymon's head in surprise at what he saw.
Lucas: That's…
Emily opened her eyes and noticed she was sitting on the foot of a giant bird. She looked up and saw Biyomon had become.
Birdramon: (Screech)...
Biyomon is now a giant Firebird wreathed in orange flames. Except for the mouth that has sharp teeth and two feet, each of which has five talons. She has blue eyes and large wings. Emily was in awe at this.
Emily: Biyomon… Digivolved too.
She then looked at the device she has in her hands, similar to Lucas' and Mike.
Emily: Birdramon…
She looked back at Birdramon as the Firebird turned to her.
Birdramon: Emily, your warm heart gave me power. I will fight with you too!
Emily adjusted her hat as she smiled at Birdramon.
Emily: Yeah!
Snimon then began to attack his prey's new form as Emily held on and Birdramon charged as well.
Snimon: Twin Sickle!
The Insectoid Digimon fired his purple energy slashes at Birdramon, but the female Bird dodged all of them two collided with their sides before passing the other.
Emily: Birdramon!
Birdramon: Hang on tight!
Birdramon then made an U-turn and was now after Snimon which he noticed. Emily's device then started to glow and Birdramon was glowing too, as sparkling light started to appear on her wings.
Birdramon: Meteor Wing!
Birdramon fired a barrage of fire from wings which hit Snimon's back and sent him crashing down on the forest, defeated.
Meanwhile, Greymon continued wrestling with Coelamon, who pulled back a claw and nearly swiped at Lucas. This made Greymon upset as he narrowed his red eyes and then he was engulfed in orange fire.
Greymon: Nova Blast!
Gremon spewed a stream of flames that engulfed Coelamon, sending him flying, defeated, and crashed and disappeared underwater.
Greymon: (Roar)...!
Greymon roared in victory as Birdramon flew near him. Greymon was then engulfed in orange light and started shrinking. Lucas was now standing on the shore with Agumon sitting confused at turning back to normal.
Agumon: Huh?
Lucas: Agumon?
Agumon: Once I relaxed, I changed back.
Agumon laid on his back, exhausted. Emily smiled at the scene before turning to Birdramon.
Emily: Birdramon, you were amazing!
Birdramon: It's all thanks to you!
Lucas: You did great, Emily!
Emily giggled a little at that until she caught sight at the Rainbow Mountain.
Emily: Hey, isn't that the place where the light pointed?
Birdramon: Looks like there's something in front of the mountain…
With her improved eyesight, Birdramon saw that on the Rainbow Mountain there were some sort of ruins and had statues in them. Emily used the binoculars she brought and checked the ruins.
Emily: Is it… a temple?
Birdramon: If we go now, I can use my powers to take everyone there. Let 's hurry!
With that said, everyone boarded on Birdramon and she went flying towards the Rainbow Mountain. However, no one noticed that someone was watching them from the shadows of the forest.
-The Network-
Meanwhile with Mike and Tentomon, the two were heading to the deepest part of the Net in order to reach the Digital World where the others are. Tentomon was holding on Mike as he was flying through the digital airspace.
Mike: Tentomon.
Tentomon: Yes?
Mike: How long does it take to get to the Digital World from here?
Tentomon: Uh, with my speed, it would take quite a…
?: (Wailes)...
Mike and Tentomon: Hm?
Mike and Tentomon were surprised to hear that sound. Before they knew it, a large blue Sperm Whale Digimon with a brown shell on its head and back with visible spinal cords and ribs. It doesn't seem to have any eyes and it has cables in place of them. Its mouth has sharp teeth, as Mike and Tentomon noticed since it was about to eat them.
Mike and Tentomon: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!
The giant Whale Digimon closed its mouth on them, before continuing swimming deeper into the Net.

Personality: She was usually shy and nervous, but ever since she met Emily she gained the confidence and strength she always had, though she may still sometimes get flustered.
Tentomon
Personality: This Insectoid Digimon is a jokester and likes to show off, but he's willing to protect Mike if he's in danger. Sometimes he likes toying with his opponents.
I've decided to change Rebecca's age because when I checked about T.K and Kari's age in the english dub of the first series, it tells that Kari is older than T.K. I've also changed Emily's hair color and gave an evolution sequence for Biyomon. I wonder why the other Digimon didn't get one like Agumon and Gabumon.
