Today, Erma had a dentist appointment and The Slayer had decided to accompany her along with Sam, mostly because Sam had told him some pretty colorful stories of Erma's last dentist appointment and so he decided to go to make sure she didn't go out of control.

Besides, he also made a promise to Erma that if she behaved herself, he'd take her to see the new Mortal Kombat movie. Considering the stuff she normally watched, the blood and violence in that movie were all nothing new.

Besides, the attentive fighting scenes were something he could definitely appreciate.

"Now remember honey, They're just going to clean your teeth. I want you to be on your best behavior okay?" Sam told his daughter as Erma looked quite nervous while The Slayer silently rubbed her head.

Soon the door opened and one of the nurses came out. "Erma? Doctor Craven will see you now."

The Slayer stood up, holding onto Erma's hand. He silently made it known to the nurse that he was acting as moral support for her, The two then headed inside and found an actual priest in the room, reading through a bible and a cross slung under his arm.

The Slayer knew this was a trustworthy priest but it still brought back bad memories of the traitorous Hell Priests. Thankfully, he gave those evil bastards what they deserved, even if it did cause him to fall out with his Night Sentinel brothers.

Erma was then led to one of the chairs and then had her arms strapped down. The Slayer felt worried for her and gave a particularly scathing look to Doctor Craven.

"Sorry sir, it's only a precaution for what happened last time Erma was here for an appointment. I understand if it isn't something you approve of."

The Slayer said nothing as he sat down next to Erma and gently held her tiny hand in his own large one. Doctor Craven then instructed Erma to open her mouth and the contents inside left something to be desired indeed. The Slayer could swear he even saw a centipede crawling around in her teeth.

"Good Lord…." The priest winced as he tried to wave away the stench the best he could. The Slayer couldn't help but silently chuckle, the priest obviously hadn't seen the truly horrible bloody bowels of Hell itself.

"Chelsie, we're gonna need some holy water for the sprayer."

What followed after looked like a scene from the Exorcist as Erma thrashed about as Doctor Craven busily cleaned her mouth and teeth. The Slayer squeezed her hand tightly as her hair went wild, grabbing dentist tools along with other doctors and nurses as they tried to calm her down.

Meanwhile, the priest kept reading from his bible and held out his crucifix in order to keep down the amount of dark magic that Erma was letting out.

All in all, the scene itself was pretty insane. The Slayer couldn't help but reminiscent his fight with the Doom Hunters with all the flying and jumping around.

The priest was fending off some flying dentistry tools with his cross, which honestly impressed The Slayer as he got some of the heat off the man by taking out his Charged Energy Pistol and blasting the tools out of the air.

"WHY DO YOU HAVE A WEAPON!?" One of the nurses screamed.

"LET HIM KEEP IT! HE SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT HE'S DOING!" Doctor Craven yelled.

The Slayer squeezed Erma's hand a little tighter, just enough to tell her that he was still by her side. This allowed her to relax a little bit and allow Doctor Craven to resume his focus.

Erma made a mental note to at least brush twice a day so she didn't have to experience this pain again once she comes back in six months.

However, it all started to go to Hell in a Handbasket again as the Doctor had missed a spot and may have hit something sensitive which made Erma snapped and howl like a wild animal struggling to break free from her restraints.

The Slayer knew things were going to get ugly, so he quickly pressed two of his fingers to Erma's neck, causing her to twitch slightly before falling asleep, all the chaos stopping as a result.

"That was quite impressive. How did you do that?" Doctor Craven asked.

"You learn many things in the Night Sentinels..."

That was all The Slayer said as he helped the nurses and other doctors fix up the place.

"So how did she do this time?" Sam asked as the appointment was finished and Erma came out with a lollipop.

"Well for starters, she levitated equipment all around the room, grabbed nurses and other doctors with her hair, attacked the priest with dental tools, and even bit my hand." said Doctor Craven as he listed the things Erma had done all the while The Slayer suppressed a snort of amusement.

"All in all, a way better improvement than last time considering Mr. Slayer had helped calm her down by using pressure points and also taking out a type of laser pistol and shooting the dentistry tools attacking the priest." finished Doctor Craven as he shuddered and turned to The Slayer.

"Has anyone told you that you are quite scary?"

The Slayer shrugged, taking no offense to the good doctor's words and putting a hand on Erma's head, rubbing it gently.

As Doctor Craven told Sam about the bill, Erma just smiled at the procedure being over and went back to licking her lollipop.

After that, The Slayer took Erma to go see the new Mortal Kombat movie. They had a pretty good time and The Slayer honestly felt a kindred spirit in Scorpion, what with the tragedy that befell him as well as taking revenge on his clan's killer.

*Omake 1: Get Out*

The Slayer and the Williams Family were in the living room watching TV during a lazy afternoon on Sunday, not much was going on and so it was pretty peaceful.

However, there was a knocking on the door so The Slayer got up and went to the door to open it. He was greeted by some people who look like they were from some cheesy reality supernatural investigation show.

"Well if it ain't the Blairwood Slayer. Had no idea you lived with the Blairwood Ghost Family. Where are my manners, I'm Mr. Shelby. Could you explain some of the rumors that had been circulating around this house?" Said the bald-looking fellow with a beard who looked like he was the leader.

The Slayer said nothing, only took out his Pump Shotgun, cocked it, and aimed it at the Spirit Chasers calmly and coldly.

"I will give you FIVE. SECONDS. To get the bloody fuck off our property."

The Spirit Chasers took the hint and bolted out. The Slayer slammed the door shut and sat back down with the family, still keeping his shotgun on hand in case the Spirit Chasers decided to try their luck again.

"Who was at the door?"

"Nosy tourists."

*Omake 2: In the Old World*

(Credit goes to Dontus -not Donut- Powerus, who did this in comments and I just thought it was too good to pass up as an Omake)

"So the Slayer did get sent into another dimension...Make haste brothers, for the Praetor is without a doubt, has no house to call his own. This is the least that we could do for our King." Valen the Former Betrayer said to his fellow Night Sentinels as they explored the abandoned Fortress of Doom.

A Sentinel Warrior approached him and made a saluting gesture. Right fist on the left breast and a slight bow of the head "Pardon, Commander Valen, but I have to ask...Do we also need to fix the Slayer's personal Atlan after fixing the Fortress?"

"Yes, we do."

Valen then turns around and began to talk with another Sentinel about the Fortress's systems.

Meanwhile, in the Ripatorium, two Sentinels were standing around together.

"So why is the Slayer still a Sentinel Knight again? He did kill a priest so he shouldn't even be one any more right?"

Because those Deags are all shitty liars. They were treated as sacred priests simply because of their connection with the Wraiths in the first place. You should have known by now that the Wraiths that were awoken got captured and the Deags became corrupt abominations that leads to us being scattered around D'nur. Creating villages and small Sentinel camps. Or so from what I heard by the other Elders." The second, older Night Sentinel said before sighing. "Either way, I'm glad you asked, young one."

"Ah, I see... So... How does it feel to live through eons by the way?" The first, younger one asked.

"It's boring for the first thousand years, but you can get used to it. But I gotta say, I am quite happy to be back into a mortal again once this Argent energy dissipates around our world, and Hell Energy permanently becomes nothing but an old legend."

Back on the bridge of the Fortress of Doom...

"Ugh... The Teether needs a new replacement. All it could do is just follow the Slayer's tethered link. Making a new one would be a pain in the ass..." Complained a Sentinel Tech Warrior.

"Oh, good lord..." Sighed another Tech Warrior.

"What is it Alcur?" The first Tech Warrior asked.

"The Dimensional Teleporter is also busted, Reggia. We'll need an ex Mayker Inquisitor for this tech."

The first Tech Warrior, Reggia blanched. "Oh, you have got to be kidding me..."

"So we just need an Atlan core?" Valen asked as he was overseeing things.

Reggia nodded. "Yes...It would seem that someone or something overloaded the main power source, causing the core to collapse in on itself, and in turn, shutting the rest of the ship. I have managed to store enough power throughout the ship, as of now, we have a month's supply until we'll have to put it back. And a month's time for any of you to find a core."

Valen sighed and shook his head. "If only we did not use all of our arsenals and saved some as reserves..."

I'm so glad this story is getting so much attention. It makes me feel proud of being a writer and an Erma fan. I just wish more people could write stories for Erma, though.
