A new beginning?

Story created at the end of the fourth season, before the start of the next. What if Will had the worst of it in the accident? how would things go?

4. The traitor

It was hard, Nat's body was really heavy and Will was tired.

In spite of this, he continued to crawl on his shaky legs.

Unfortunately, however, concentrated as he was, on what he had to do, he did not feel that Burke had recovered behind him and, dragging himself for a while, had managed to take the gun he kept under the driver's seat of his car.

Tim Burke didn't care about dying. Before that happened, however, he had to get the traitor out of Will Halstead.

It was his fault that he and his father had ended up in prison and that his brother had died. He had to pay.

Then lying on the ground, he pointed the gun he was holding at Will as he kept dragging himself and his Natalie towards the ER entrance. and after a few seconds he fired.
