"Okay...this is our next stop." Jack said as the thieves stood in a large mining complex with multiple tunnels carved out. "The mines right in the middle of Terraria, the Earth Country."

"So the next jewel is here?" Crow asked.

"Yeah. Their jewel is located deep inside the mines right in the center of it." Jack said. "Least that's what the map says."

"So we're going spelunking. Nice." Skull said.

"Now...about time we got dirty." Jack said getting a hardhat on as they headed down deep inside the mines.

"Geez...this mine seems to go on forever." Panther said. "Can't we just get some jewels from here and call it a score?"

"Not true. They don't mine jewels here. They mine metals like silver, gold, adamantine. Stuff like that." Fox said.

"Yeah, which is why it's a perfect place to hide a gemstone." Jack said.

They continued to go in deeper until they came across a pedestal where a round piece of amber sat on it.

"Hmm...this seems...a little too good to be true." Joker said.

"Well, I say we go for it." Mona said as he jumped and grabbed the jewel. "Got it!" he said happily as the pedestal sank down as a sanction of wall lowered as emerging from it was a large mole.

"Huh...a giant mole. Guess that explains what dug the tunnels." Jack said.

"Bad day! Bad day!" Mona said as he dashed away with the mole chasing him.

The chaos caused the Terrarians to notice.

"Y'hear that? Someone woke up the Terra Mole, which means the Earthly Amber got swiped!" one of the workers noticed.

"And that's our cue to disappear." Crow said.

"No arguments here!" Jack said as the thieves ran right up the path as the mole gave chase towards them until they managed to get out the entrance as the mole went and got stuck in the tunnel.

"Phew...we made it without…" Skull said before they saw the Terrarians emerging from another tunnel. "Nevermind, we gotta keep going." he said as they kept running.

"Dang mine raiders! Went and crafted an escape." one of the miners said.

"Heheheh…." Jack chuckled.

"What's so funny?" Joker said.

"It's just what that guy went and...oh, nevermind. I'll explain it later." Jack said. "Halfway through, baby!"

Meanwhile with Ira….

The angel followed the travel guide to the shared location of both the countries of Illumus and Shroud. As it was daytime, the country was covered in white buildings, with numerous people gathered in the center of the largest city.

"Looks like the Illumusians are doing their daily praising session." Ira noted before he grinned. "Should I… ah, why the hell not?"

Ira then cut off his flight, free falling before he landed feet first in the middle of the crowd, making a small crater and causing the locals to jump back away from him.

"What's up, ya religious fudgeknuckles?" Ira waved to the crowds, smiling.

"An angel?" one asked.

"No. That is a Vice Angel. A celestial body corrupted by one of the Seven Deadly Sins!" another said in alarm.

"What, is that what they're teaching you these days?" Ira chuckled. "I'd love to have a lesson with you all, but I'm here on business: the Phantom Thieves are coming to steal the Sun Stone. Well I'm going to make sure they don't steal it."

"And how is that?" one questioned.

"I'm gonna take it first." Ira said before he dashed to the center and plucked the Sun Stone off of its pedestal and stowed it away in his pocket. "If all goes well, you should have it back by… noon tomorrow? I dunno, it depends on how fast they are."

"That's big talk from someone who doesn't have long in this world." one of them said.

That comment caused Ira to stop in his tracks, then slowly turn his head towards the one who said that quote, his red aura leaking off of him. "Hey buddy, I'd watch my mouth if I was you. Otherwise… you'll have less time than I do." the angel warned, causing the crowd to stiffen before the aura faded. "Just continue on with your business, and I don't hurt anyone. Sound good?"

"The poor fool." the citizen muttered as they walked off before vanishing.

"Poor fool, huh…?" Ira said as he observed the setting sun, sitting down and waiting. "...Wish I could dispute that… wish I could…"
