Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here, the NEXT GENERATION UA Academy students are about to take the exams for enrollment at UA Academy…but first a little bit of situation that takes place...

Well then, read on and enjoy!

Ch. 4: Nyūshi

The scene shifts at the school gate of UA Academy, where some applicants are standing and as they are waiting for the school gate to open, their attention was attracted by a rather unsightly scene, where they saw some kind of commotion and they wonder what is going on, and while others want to ignore it, some were intrigued that they decided to see what is going on.

"Look at that…"

"Something is up…"

"Is that a reporter…?"

"What's he doing?"

"Looks intriguing…"

"Want to check it out?"

"Sure."

"Let's go."

The scene shows that a shrewd TV reporter came and shoved Eri aside, prompting Kota to catch and break her fall, and Rock slowly reacted with anger at seeing what the reporter did to Eri, but then the reporter approached Rock and did an unsanctioned interview, which caught him by surprise.

"This is Rijado Tonbogu from Bones News Network! We are here live in front of UA Academy…and with me is a possible child of an infamous person…"

"Huh?"

"Tell me, kid…are you the son of THAT man?"

"What?"

"We heard that you were the son of that businessman and crime lord from Naruhata…"

"…"

"You are Geese Howard's son, right?"

"!"

Kota and Eri stared wide-eyed as the reporter somewhat figured out about Rock's connection to Geese, and feared that it would tick the teen boy off due to his hatred towards Geese, and making matters worse, the reporter's approach is bordering on harassment as he insinuated that Rock is attempting to enroll at UA Academy in order to use the school's status to obtain Geese's last will of testament, which Rock is unaware of, and has no interest in it and attempted to ignore him but the shrewd reporter keep on harassing the teen boy.

"Wait…we need to know!"

"…"

"Are you Geese Howard's son?"

"…"

"Do you intend to follow in his footsteps?"

"…"

"Does your entering at UA Academy serve as a tribute in honor of Geese Howard?"

"…"

As Rock ignored him the TV reporter began to provoke him by saying that Rock intend to INFILTRATE UA Academy and pretend to be a hero then commit a crime by praising Geese Howard's name then announce to Japan that he would follow Geese's footstep.

Rock was pissed as he has no intention of following Geese's footsteps and is about to retaliate when Kota held him back and tells him to ignore the reporter, reasoning that the reporter is just looking for trouble and thus there is no reason to pick on him.

"Rock."

"…"

"Easy. Just ignore him."

"…"

"He's just looking for trouble. Don't waste your time on him."

"…"

"Come on, Rock. Let's go."

"…"

The Big Three decided to intervene and tells the reporter to stop harassing Rock, saying that his actions would land him in trouble for trying to harass a minor, but the reporter said that he got word that Rock is the son of the infamous Geese Howard and that a RELIABLE SOURCE told him that he intend to enroll at UA Academy in order to further his goals in rebuilding Geese's financial empire and start an underground criminal network.

Togata and Hado tells the reporter that he would have to prove it by telling that to the police instead of causing a scene, but Tonbogu insisted that the information he got from the source is authentic, and said that it is his duty as a TV reporter to expose POSSIBLE BAD ELEMENTS trying to hide within the peaceful society.

"Stop this right now."

"You're just trying to provoke someone."

"I am doing this for the name of journalism!"

"What you're doing right now contradict it."

"Stop picking on that boy."

"That kid is a scourge! He's the son of the Naruhata crime Lord! He deserved to be vilified! He must be condemned!"

"Either you leave or we'll have you get arrested."

"Leave now."

"I must do my job!"

As Eri and Kota tried to get Rock away, the cameraman kept on aiming the camera at Rock's face, almost to the point of shoving Eri, and there Tonbogu said that Rock is aspiring to become a crime lord like Geese, then amass a harem that would seduce women, then claim that Geese did this by seducing a blond-haired woman and produced a BASTARD like the one standing before him, implying it to be the innocent Rock.

Because Rock loved his mother so much, that he took exception to what the reporter did, and nearly reacted violently as he tells the reporter to leave his mother out of this and is about to lash out but Kota and Eri restrained him and urged him to calm down.

"Rock!"

"Don't!"

"…"

"He's just messing you!"

"Don't give in!"

"…"

"Eri's right. Calm down."

"Please, Rock."

"…"

Sensing that something is off, and knowing this would put him in moral trouble, Togata is about to restrain the reporter but the reporter evaded and went towards Rock and demanded to know why the son of Geese Howard would want to enroll at UA Academy, saying that the academy is for aspiring heroes, not delinquents who aim to become a criminal.

He even insinuated that Rock's mother was a GOOD KNOCKER that caused Geese to seduce her and produce a brat, and Rock is on the verge of losing his cool at the way that the reporter is insulting his dead mother and Kota is having difficulty in restraining his friend, and he urged him not to pay attention to the rude reporter.

"Rock."

"…"

"Easy. Just ignore him."

"…"

"He's just looking for trouble. Don't waste your time on him."

"…"

"Come on, Rock. Let's go."

"…"

Suddenly, someone intervened, as this person grabbed the reporter and threw him back, then did a roundhouse kick that struck the reporter on his gut, and did the same to the cameraman, and both men were on the ground.

The citizen who came to Rock's aid is revealed to be of south Korean descent, and he is identified as Kim Kaphwan, and there he tells Togata that he better restrain the reporter and the cameraman, saying that they seemingly aim to harass Rock for a reason, and Togata thanked Kaphwan for the assist though he said that he didn't have to do it, reasoning that Kaphwan might get into legal trouble.

"Thanks for the assist."

"Its no problem."

"Though you didn't have to physically intervene. You might get into trouble…"

"It's fine. I didn't use a Quirk."

"Really?"

"Just plain old taekwondo."

"That's funny."

"Oh?"

As the reporter and the cameraman were on the ground, Hado noticed something and tells Togata and Amajiki something, where the trio saw what appeared to be earring-like devices attached to the two men's ears, which looked like support items, and out of curiosity, Togata removed them, and soon the reporter and the cameraman appeared disoriented and are surprised to be here.

Soon security arrived and escorted Rock, Kota and Eri inside along with the other applicants, and there Kaphwan is seen talking to his two children, who are male teenagers aged 15, and they are identified as Kim Dong Hwan and Kim Jae Hoon, where they assured to their dad that they will enroll at UA Academy and become heroes.

"Okay, you two. You know what to do."

"Yes, dad."

"We know, dad."

"Pass the entrance exams. Show them that our taekwondo is the best martial arts in the world."

"Yes, dad."

"You got it, dad."

"And at the same time show them why you are worthy of being heroes."

"Yes, dad."

"You got it, dad."

As the Kim children went inside UA Academy, another applicant came and is going to try his luck in enrolling at UA, a boy aged 15, and he is identified as Katsuma Shimano, as he intend to keep his promise to enroll at UA and meet up with Midoriya, who saved him a decade ago.

"Izuku…I'm here…and I will keep my promise…"

-x-

Several minutes later, the scene shifts inside UA Academy where the applicants are assembled inside an auditorium where Present Mic is doing some rapping speech and other things, and Kota noticed that Rock was quite distressed and his placed his hand on the blond-haired boy's shoulder and assured to him that everything will be okay, which Rock slowly nodded.

Katsuma is seen listening intently as is Eri, and nearby, the Kim brothers, Jae Hoon and Dong Hwan, glanced at Rock, as they partially heard about what occurred earlier and wondered if that incident was accidental or intentional.

"Look at that guy…"

"He looked upset."

"That reporter must've pulled a sensitive cord on him…"

"But is it true…? He's the son of Geese Howard? The crime lord from Naruhata?"

"Still, if that were true, why would that boy want to try out here at UA?"

"Maybe we should ask dad later…maybe he might know something…"

"Right. For now we focus on the entrance exams."

"Got it."

After several minutes, the applicants went to an open area within UA Academy, and soon Katsuma and Eri were told that based on their registration forms where their Quirks are listed, they would be given recommendation and will not participate at the entrance exams.

There Eri told Rock and Kota to do their best and pass it, which the two boys nodded, and promised that they will attend UA Academy together.

"Kota, Rock…do your best."

"Yeah."

"We will."

"Pass the exams."

"We will. Rock?"

"I'm ready."

"Good luck, you two."

"Thanks."

"Thanks."

As Eri left, Katsuma wondered if Midoriya is here, as he recall the promise that Midoriya would wait for him here at UA Academy. After he left, the applicants are now assembled and told of what to expect, and soon giant robots appeared and a brawl ensued.

The scene shows that Jae Hoon demonstrated his taekwondo skills before revealing his Quirk, which a fire-like energy enveloped his right foot before doing a jumping spin kick and struck the robot on the head, knocking it out of commission and earned points before proceeding to deal with another, showing that he is a martial artist like Kaphwan.

Dong Hwan is seen doing the same thing, except that his Quirk is electricity-based as electrical aura enveloped his foot before doing a jumping roundhouse kick which short-circuited the giant robot before he landed on the ground.

The Kim brothers complimented each other before proceeding to deal with the other robots as the scene shifts to Kota and Rock, doing a team work where Rock displayed his Quirk by swinging his right arm and hand like throwing a bowling ball before an energy wave was unleashed, which looked like a small tidal wave which struck the robot on its foot, damaging it and causes the robot to tilt and topple the other robots and fell down.

There Kota uses his water Quirk to douse the interior of the robots' inside and short-circuited them which puts them out of commission, and there Kota tells Rock that they should keep this up to earn points in order to pass the entrance exams so they can join Eri, knowing that she is waiting for them as well as to let Midoriya know that they are doing their best.

"We're doing good, Rock."

"Yeah."

"Let's keep up the tempo."

"Yeah."

"Eri is waiting for us. She got in so easily."

"Yeah. At least she won't be burdened in dealing with these robots…"

"Come on then."

"Right."

After several minutes time is up and the entrance exams are over, where the applicants are catching their breath after everything they went through, and moments later Recovery Girl came to check on any applicants who got injured, and Rock stared wide-eyed at seeing her use her Quirk in such a way that it really caught him by surprise.

"What the…?"

"Rock?"

"Did you see that?"

"Yeah. That's how Recovery Girl uses her Quirk."

"Just like that?"

"Are you that shocked?"

"Of course! There's no way…"

"Better deal with it, Rock…"

The Kim brothers were equally surprised at seeing what Recovery Girl did and wondered if they should go to her if any of them are injured, which the siblings are shivering at the thought about getting kissed by Recovery Girl.

After that, the applicants were told that the results would be delivered to them in three days, and soon the applicants left the testing area and both Rock and Kota meet up with Eri.

Meanwhile, at the police station, the Big Three, along with Tsukauchi, were baffled by the turn of events as they contacted Bones TV News for information, where its CEO said that they do not have employees like Tonbogu or the cameraman, and even said that someone has hijacked their satellite feed, hence the broadcast was made live without their knowledge.

Moreover, Tsukauchi told Togata that after removing the earring-like devices from the two men, Tonbogu and the unidentified man said that they have no recollection of what happened and even said that they never worked for any media outlets.

Togata wondered who would go through the trouble just to commit slander and oral defamation over an innocent boy, and there one of Tsukauchi's assistant suggest that Midoriya must be informed, which Tsukauchi agreed.

Hado asked what is Midoriya's connection to the incident earlier, and there Tsukauchi revealed that Rock is the biological child of Geese Howard, and is under the care of the Midoriya family, which surprised the Big Three.

"What?"

"That boy?"

"The kid is the son of Geese Howard?"

"Yes. And Midoriya adopted him after Geese's supposed death…"

"No way…"

"That situation is similar to Eri-chan..."

"And something like this happened…"

"Which made me suspect that someone has a personal grudge…but I wonder how that someone knows about that boy…"

After that, Midoriya came after receiving the text message and he asked Tsukauchi what happened, and there Togata told Midoriya what occurred, and said that someone planned this as a way to smear Rock, which made Midoriya wonder if this someone is connected to Naruhata and to Geese's past.

Togata asked if Midoriya really adopted Rock, which the 9th holder of One For All confirm.

"You really adopted that boy, Midoriya?"

"Yes, Togata-senpai."

"Since when? I didn't know you had…"

"Almost ten years ago."

"Huh? You really took him in even after adopting Eri-chan into your family?"

"Um…there were circumstances involved…"

"Care to fill me in, Midoriya?"

"Well…"

To Be Continued...

Hope you liked this chapter, as Rock and Kota managed to finish the entrance exams at UA Academy, where the two boys showed some good team work.

Eri and Katsuma got in thanks to some certain situations, though it now falls on whether they would be admitted into UA Academy as they await for the results.

New characters are introduced, and information on the newcomers are shown below. Though it remains to be seen if they would become classmates or rivals.

An unexpected twist occurred, as the two men who harassed Rock turn out to be disposable pawns, as they were controlled by someone using an unspecified support item, and the two men posing as a reporter and cameraman have no recollection of what they did.

This made Midoriya and the Big Three wonder who is behind this and how that someone know about Rock's identity.
