The moon was out in full, letting the world know that it has officially taken the spot of the sun. Despite this, Tokyo was still bustling with people going about their tasks. They filled the streets to the brim, leaving no room empty within the city. A figure was stood on the edge of a skyscraper, watching over the city like a hawk searching for prey.
"The fuck is this hand?"
Behind him were four suited men huddled around a small table playing a game of poker. There was a small pile of cash, jewellery and cigarette boxes next to the deck, acting as the main pot.
"You gonna hit?"
"Fuck off. Fold."
He threw the cards in his hand face down onto the table and stood up to stand next to his boss. He looked out to the city with him, appreciating the quiet they rarely get within a city this large.
"Yo boss, anything down there?"
The man stood still, the subordinate knowing well enough that his silence means a no. He walked back over to the game of poker only to see them adding even more to the pot and shook his head. One player dug into his suit jacket pocket and slammed down a pair of keys.
"My car keys."
The players all looked at him with disbelief.
"...You're fucked."
"Want to test me?"
A crow flew past their heads and cawed at them violently, before swooping down to the busy streets below. The Yakuza looked up to their boss, the game of poker now behind them.
"Boss?"
The man looked to them and nodded before letting himself fall off the side of the building.
"Fuck... I hate it when he does that."
They all raced off after him and jumped off, following him closely. One person turned around and made sure to scoop up all of the pot into his arms before making his way and following them with a grin on his face.
\ /
What has he done? He looked down to his hands that were coated in a thick veil of red. He tried to scream, only to hear nothing but the empty silence that permeated his surroundings. He heard it. That ghastly cry within the air. He was being hunted. With one last glance at the body on the floor, he ran. Constantly looking over his shoulder as he worked through the busy streets of Tokyo.
"Move! Move! Move!"
He saw it, a shadow in the air. They were right behind him, trailing his every move. He had to get inside somewhere safe, somewhere even the dogs of the night won't chase him. The Yakuza! They can protect him! He'll join them, then after that, not even the police can touch him. He laughed anxiously out loud to himself as he ran and made a sharp turn for the main Yakuza building.
After pushing his way through the traffic of people he reached a grand building. It was a club by the name of the 'High-tide', it was huge. It was surrounded by blinding lights and all sorts of signs hoping to drag in more customers. He ran for the door. He grasped at the handle with shaky hands and was suddenly forced backwards onto his butt by an unknown force. He quickly climbed up and reached for the handle again only for an arm to grab him by his wrist.
"I'm afraid I can't let you in."
The bouncer motioned to his shirt with a nod.
He looked down at his shirt and could see that it was thickly stained in red.
"Y-You have to! I have to speak with the boss!"
"Oh?"
The bouncer flexed his arms and stood up straighter. He crossed his arms and frowned.
"And why does someone like you want to see the boss?"
"It's okay Harold."
A suited man in grey was at the door, leaning against it in a relaxed manner. He had dark sunglasses on despite it being nighttime and a cigar in his fingers. He took a drag and looked above him to see figures moving within the darkness and grinned.
"Brother Ryuji?"
"Let him in, I want to...Talk to him."
"...Sure."
The bouncer took a step back and gave him a bow before going back to his post. Ryuji motioned for him to follow and he didn't hesitate. There were five figures hunched on top of a nearby building, using the cover of night to hide them. One man sighed and ran his hand through his hair, clearly annoyed.
"What do we do now?"
They all looked to their boss and noticed that there was the slightest smile on his face.
"Now, we be patient."
\ /
He followed the man named 'Ryuji' through the casino. The patrons within the casino seemed to not even notice them, all of them focused on their own activities. They were all dressed up in expensive wears, every single one of them looking like they could be invited to a royal ball. Some of them noticed the blood on his form yet they ignored it as if it was the norm.
They reached the bar to see that it was partially filled, people were sat at tables and we're talking amongst themselves in a bustle.
A stunning blonde-haired European woman was sat backwards on her stool, facing them. She wore an extremely revealing velvet dress and had light makeup on her face. Her expression glowed the moment Ryuji came into view and she made way to embrace him with her arms outstretched. They met up halfway and shared a heated kiss before exchanging a few words in a language he was unfamiliar with.
"Qui est ton ami?"
(Who is your friend?)
She motioned to the man covered in blood behind him with a wary look. Ryuji took hold of her chin delicately with his hand and moved it so she was looking at him. He gave her a gentle smile and ran his thumb over her pink lips. She licked it seductively with her tongue in response, with a smile on her face.
"Affaires, chérie. Soyez bon et attendez-moi dans votre chambre? Cela ne prendra pas longtemps."
(Business, honey. Be good and wait for me in your room? This won't take long.)
Ryuji winked at her and they shared one last kiss before they let go of each other. Their hands lingered on until she eventually broke the distance, she blew him one final kiss and then made her way out of the bar. Ryuji licked his lips and sighed happily. He motioned for the man to sit on one of the many free stools with a gesture of his hand.
"Please, sit."
He gritted his teeth in annoyance.
"I don't have time for this."
He sat down anyway, knowing full well that he's in dangerous territory. The bartender behind the table came over to them and eyed him warily before turning to Ryuji. He handed Ryuji a cigar and even lit it for him with his own lighter before standing by.
"Whiskey, please. The same for the gentleman."
"Sure thing Ryuji."
The bartender behind the counter gave Ryuji a shake of his head before going off to get the beverage. Ryuji took a long drag of his cigar and rested it down onto the ashtray in front of him.
"What's your name?"
"Gin Lee... But I go by Lee."
Ryuji took this moment to size him up. He was incredibly slim, not much within the muscle department at all. His black hair was cut back short and had a slight splash of redness within it, probably from his earlier activities.
"Not from around here are you? Lee..."
The bartender came by with their cups and poured them both some whiskey. Ryuji took his cup and raised it to the bartender in thanks before taking a generous sip.
"I-I'm half Chinese and half Japanese..."
Ryuji looked at Lee to see him visibly shaking, the blood on his hands starting to stain the cup he clenched so tightly.
"Woah Woah Woah, chill out. Relax! There's alcohol here for a reason."
Lee took a second to breathe, trying his best to call the raging nerves within his body. He shakily downed the whole cup of alcohol and coughed slightly when he finished it. Ryuji grinned and picked his cigar back up to take a puff. Lee kept looking over his shoulder and watching the open roof above him as if something was about to snatch him from his seat.
"What you looking for buddy?"
Lee turns and leans into Ryuji and whispers harshly.
"I need to see the boss! It's urgent! I uh... I d-did a job for him."
Ryuji and the bartender both stop to look at the stranger worriedly.
"A Job?."
"Yeah! A job."
Ryuji frowned and put out his cigar and left it within the ashtray.
"Funny. The boss never told me about a job on my turf. Good day lee, I'm just gonna go check it out."
Ryuji stood to walk away and Lee grabbed his arm out of desperation. The bartender brandished his quirk in response. His arm turned into hundreds of wires and he coiled them around Lee's neck. Lee let go of Ryuji's arm to try and resist the wires that were choking him. He sputtered for breath whilst Ryuji groaned at him, annoyed. He looked at his suit and noticed that there was now a bloody handprint on his sleeve.
"Oh... Look what you've fucking done!"
Ryuji punched him in the gut and the bartender let Lee go. He fell to his knees and grasped at his stomach in pain whilst simultaneously trying to catch his breath.
"Mary washed it for me just this morning!"
He kicked his head whilst he was kneeling, the force of his kick making Lee go on his back. Ryuji yelled out in frustration and took off his suit delicately, handing it to the bartender who placed it into a basket.
"Get Viktor on the phone."
"Of course."
The bartender passed him his phone and Ryuji placed it against his ear. It rang once and was picked up. Ryuji sat back on his stool and sighed loudly.
"Did the boss tell you about a job?"
"...The only job that came out was to keep an eye on the neighbourhood."
"I knew it. We have a killer and a liar."
"...What now?"
Ryuji looked at the man that was on the ground. Lee tried to crawl away, he backed himself up against the bar counter and screamed for help. The patrons within the bar didn't move, nor did they try to help. Some were even encouraging them to get it over with.
"He's all yours. Just make sure he's still alive when they find him."
Ryuji ended the call and gave the phone back to the bartender. He took off his sunglasses and rubbed his eyes, making sure to keep them closed.
"You're disrupting business. I gave you a chance to run but you blew it."
A tendril came out of the shadows and latched itself onto Lee's leg, its grip tight and unwavering. It pulled with surprising force, almost throwing Lee out of the bar. The man screamed and reached out trying to grab something. Anything to save himself from the danger. The bartender opened the back door with a bored expression on his face and the tendril pulled Lee out of the bar.
After a beat of silence, the patrons within the bar all applauded and Ryuji waved them off. The clapping soon died down and the bar returned to its once bustling atmosphere as if the incident never happened.
Ryuji stood and straightened up his collar after Lee was taken away. He rolled up his sleeves slightly and readjusted his glasses and turned to the bartender.
"How do I look, Sam?"
The bartender looked up from cleaning the glass cup in his hands and smirked at him.
"Like gold sir."
"Good. If anyone asks for me, tell them I'll get back to them. I've got a hot date."
Sam chuckled and nodded.
"Understood."

All Might, the NO.1 hero... Was working at UA.
The press took this news like a hungry pack of piranhas and crowded the front gates of UA, hoping to catch an interview with the ultra-popular hero before the school day starts.
A figure amongst the crowd had his hood up and his head down. He walks up to the wall of UA after pushing through what seemed to be hundreds of people and placed his hand against the wall.
He went back and forth, searching for the hole where the security pad would be and soon finds it near the entrance. The man grins in glee and activates his quirk. The plating begins to fall apart and becomes brittle, making it easy for the man to push inside and destroy the wires within.
The doors open and the press don't think much about it. Thinking that this is their chance to get their scoop, they all rush onto the grounds of UA and the alarm starts blaring.
The man grins and goes along with the crowd, his plan coming to fruition.
\ /
THE NEXT DAY...
"Yesterday was pretty scary huh. To think that the press would manage to break into the grounds like that..."
"...What's scarier is the thing Aizawa sensei has in store for us for today. He won't tell us a thing!"
"Reckon it's a test?"
"Don't say that! You're going to trigger my PTSD!"
"Hey Bakugo, you study for it?.. I know you didn't, I bet you weren't-"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP."
"Bakugo! Please refrain from using any derogatory terms when within the classroom!"
"YOU SPEAKING TO ME HUH?!"
The door to the classroom slides open and the students of class 1-A all quickly get to their seats without another sound.
"...Mornin'..."
"GOOD MORNING AIZAWA SENSEI."
The eraser hero waves them off with a sigh and goes over to his desk where he remains standing.
"...Today we are going to conduct our class within a different area of the school... As a hero, we are required to serve and protect the public..."
Aizawa takes out his sleeping bag from under his desk and walks to the door.
"I trust that you all have your hero costumes?"
The students all simultaneously take out their cases from beneath their chairs.
"Good... Get changed and then we'll meet outside where we conducted your entry exam... You have-"
Aizawa yawns comically loud, making everyone else in the room suddenly feel tired.
"-five minutes..."

ONE HOUR LATER...
Izuku positioned his sunglasses up back up to his eyes and leaned back on his chair.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?"
He looked to the young girl sat across from him. She wore a school uniform which was covered in dirt, as well as bruises that started to form on her knuckles and cheeks. Her hair was short and her eyes puffy from her earlier tears. Izuku sighed and leaned forward to look at her closely. She was a couple of years younger than Ichika and had bright velvet eyes to match with her velvet hair.
The girl wiped her eyes once more which held some tears, Izuku waved at the suited yakuza in the room and the men nodded. A small group of three yakuza walked out of the room and closed the door behind them, leaving Izuku alone with the girl in the back of a Mahjong parlour.
"...Listen to me... You need to stop getting yourself into trouble..."
"...But they talked shit about you!-"
"And!?"
Izuku interrupted her suddenly, making her jump from the sudden rise in his voice.
"...I fucking hated it... So I decided to do something about it!"
Izuku took off his sunglasses and put them on the table. He shook his head in disappointment and the tears began to fall again.
"Did you use your quirk?"
"...Yes..."
"It's as much as a gift as it is a curse. Don't read minds on a whim, you'll overwhelm yourself."
"I know-"
"You clearly don't."
The little girl sobbed quietly to herself and Izuku wiped his face with a hand.
"Look at me. Hey. Look at me."
The girl slowly looked up at Izuku and he sighed once more, out of annoyance or worry he doesn't know. He got up from his chair and placed a hand on her head.
"I know you want to help me, but.. This?... This is too much. I want you to be safe, to live a normal life outside of crime. Think. I just want what's best for you, or do you want to be at the orphanage forever?"
"No-!"
"Then, please."
Izuku crouched down to the girl's height and gave her a soft smile. He pinched her cheek and she winced slightly out of discomfort.
"Behave yourself?"
She blushed and looked away from Izuku, looking off to the wall instead.
"...Fine."
"Good girl."
Her blush grew and he wiped the tears off her face with a cloth on the table. Izuku got up from the ground and picked up his sunglasses before deciding that the girl needed a gift to boost her spirits.
"Here. These are yours now."
He handed her the sunglasses and she took them with a shocked expression. She clutched them gently, almost as if they will collapse with any more force.
"Keep it safe for me would you? Stay out of trouble Yuki."
"Whatever..."
Yuki put the glasses on her head, balancing them on top of her hair with a conflicted smile on her face.
Izuku walks out of the storage room and into the main Mahjong parlour where people were huddled around tables. Some yakuza members and locals looked and waved to Izuku in greeting and he smiled at them in return.
A yakuza that was in the storage room before reached for the door behind him, Izuku grabbed his wrist before he could turn the handle and shook his head.
"Give her some time before sending her home, and make sure that you order a hamburger for her this time."
"Yes sir."
"Good. Have a nice day lads."
"LATER BOSS."
Izuku walks out of the mahjong parlour and pulls out a box of cigarettes. He took one out, lit it with his lighter and took a long first drag. He savoured the taste and slowly breathed out the smoke, watching it as it flew up into the bright sky. The sun was out, with little company from the clouds. That suited Izuku fine, he always did prefer it warmer.
He begins his walk down the busy street, giving people-friendly smiles whenever they met his eyes. Central Musutafu was almost within complete control, only a few power-hungry companies need to be snuffed out. Students were roaming the streets having just finished school for the day, Izuku smiled. They reminded him of his sister. A couple of female students walked past Izuku with raised voices and Izuku paid them no mind.
"Hey! Did you hear?! U.A got attacked!"
"Seriously? By villains?"
Izuku dropped his cigarette. Shock overwhelming his entire body.
"Probably, you can hear the sirens from miles away. It's actually kinda scary."
Izuku turned and grabbed a hold of the girl students arm.
"What?!"
Izuku gave the student a harsh glare, hoping that this was just a prank. The girl was nerved from his look and cowered under his glare slightly.
"UA got attacked?"
"Uh... Yeah..."
"When?"
"Uh-"
Izuku got closer to the student and she yelped in fear slightly.
"When?!"
"I-I read it on the news a few minutes ago! But the sirens were going off for a while now!"
"Fuck!"
Izuku let her go and sighed at what he has done, he took out a lollipop from his pocket and gave it to her.
"Sorry. Thanks, kid."
She gingerly took the sweet and backed up slightly from him.
"Uhm... No problem..?"
Izuku activated his quirk and his entire body was suddenly enveloped in a green glow. He jumped off the ground and the students below braced themselves as the wind from the jump almost blew them back.
"Who is that guy?"
The girl looked down to the sweet in her hand and shrugged her shoulders. She opened the sweet and popped it into her mouth with a slight blush on her cheeks.
"I don't know... But he was kinda hot."
"...Seriously?"
\ /
Somewhere nearby...
"Ouch..."
He bled from both of his arms and legs as he fell out of the dark ominous portal. He stayed there, letting the blood pool around him. Kurogiri stepped back, noticing that the screen of the television was now on and displayed 'SOUND ONLY'. The bleeding man didn't even attempt to get up or treat his wounds, deciding to wallow in the pain instead.
"We lost completely... Even Nomu was defeated!"
He thought to the Yakuza that let him have a part of his group.
"All the underlings were defeated in an instant."
Images of the children fighting against the underlings angered him.
"Those kids were strong..."
He pushed himself up as best as he could, the pain becoming almost overbearing for him.
"...Why... Why?! The symbol of peace was healthy. You were wrong Master!"
He looked up to the Television screen and slammed his fist onto the floor out of anger and embarrassment. A voice could be heard from the screen, a bitingly cold and gritty voice.
"No, I wasn't. We were just not prepared enough."
Another voice can be heard from the screen, this one seemingly older.
"Yes... We underestimated them. It's good that we did it under that cheap 'League of Villains' name."
The old voice continued.
"By the way, what about Master and my joint creation, Nomu? He was not retrieved?"
Kurogiri spoke this time.
"He was blown away."
"What?!"
Kurogiri held his head down in shame.
"More precisely, without coordinates to his precise location, I could not find him, even with my warp."
He stepped to the screen and moved the mist around him where his hands should be.
"I didn't have enough time!"
A scratching sound can be heard from behind the monitor and the old voice sighed.
"After all we did to make him as powerful as All Might!"
Kurogiri raised his head.
"Well, I suppose it cannot be helped. That's unfortunate. We will just have to focus on our newer project."
Kurogiri nodded and backed away slightly from the screen. The man on the ground gasped in realisation and clutched at the floorboards.
"...Power... That's right. There was one child who was as fast as All Might."
The cold and gritty voice came back.
"Oh?"
The blood started to reach his hands and he watched as it stains his fingers.
"If she didn't get in the way... We might have been able to kill All Might."
He thought back to the green-haired child in the training uniform. How she jumped and reared her fist back aiming for him.
"That brat... That brat..!"
He strains himself to stand but only groans in pain.
"Of course you have regrets. But this was not a futile exercise. We will have a new Nomu soon. Gather the elite. Take all the time you need. We cannot move freely, which is why we need a symbol, like you. Shigaraki Tomura. Next time, show the world that you are to be feared."

U.S.J...
"Detective, what about Mr Aizawa?"
Tsukauchi gave the students a grim look and pulled out his phone to replay a message that he was given.
"...Comminated fractures in both arms and a facial fracture. Fortunately, there does not seem to be any serious brain damage. However, his orbital floor has broken into small pieces and his eyes may suffer from the after-effects of his quirk."
Tsukauchi stopped the message and looked back to the students who were all conflicted.
"That's what he said."
Mina steps up from behind the detective, worry apparent on her face.
"What about Thirteen?"
Tsukauchi gave her a small smile, happy to hear that the students worried about their teachers.
"Thirteen has been treated. The laceration from the back to the upper arm was bad, but Thirteen will survive."
A couple of sighs of relief could be heard amongst the students of 1-A.
"...All Might will also survive. Recovery Girl's healing is enough to treat him, so he's in the nurse's office."
Ochaco ran up to the detective along with Lida.
"Deku...!"
Lida nodded in agreement quickly.
"What about Midoriya-san?!"
Tsukauchi's train of thought suddenly split in half.
"Midoriya-? Wait..."
He thought back to the Yakuza. Izuku Midoriya.
"My sister plans on going to UA..."
Tsukauchi placed a hand to his chin, the girl probably doesn't know that her brother is a top dog Yakuza member.
"Oh, treatment in the nurse's office is enough for her too."
Ochaco gave him a smile and the rest of the students relaxed their tense shoulders.
"Oh, good..."
He clapped his hands and motioned for the coach.
"Now, go back to your classroom."
A soft row of "Okay," was heard and Tsukauchi smiled. He turned to his partner and gave him a worried look.
"Sansa, I have some business in the nurse's office. I'll leave the rest to you."
The cat man saluted the detective.
"Yes sir!"
Tsukauchi waited for the students to get onto the coach before he pulled out his phone and dialled a number. He paced by his car patiently until the other end picked up and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Ryukyu-san? I need your help."

Nurses office...
All Might and Ichika were in separate beds with Recovery Girl nearby sat on her chair. She sighed and turned to look at her old friend and the student that shared the same torch they called 'One for All'.
"Because of the situation this time, I can't really scold you..."
All Might shook his head slightly in disagreement.
"I'm not sure... But I think I might've shortened the time limit of my form again."
Ichika looks at her mentor in shock and All Might waves her off.
"I hope I still have at least an hour..."
"All Might..."
All Might sits up from his bed and gives Ichika a smile.
"Well, It can't be helped. These things happen."
Ichika stares at All Might's back. Since he wasn't in his muscle form she began to notice the scars littering his body. She couldn't help but notice that he was slumped forward. Almost seeming like he was beginning to lose hope in himself. He looked weak. The symbol of peace, All Might. Weak. It hurt her soul to watch her idol die slowly, but something within her told her to watch.
"Excuse me!"
Tsukauchi takes off his hat and places it against his chest, giving his old friend a large smile.
"All Might, it's been a while."
All Might spat out blood as he talked, surprise etched onto his features.
"Tsukauchi! You're here too?"
Ichika sat up with frightening speed.
"All Might! Is it alright to show that form...?"
All Might laughed joyfully and nodded to his protege.
"Yeah, it's fine. Why? Because he's Naomasa Tsukauchi, my best friend in the force."
Tsukauchi laughs as he walks to the side of All Might's bed.
"What's with that introduction? Sorry to cut to the chase, but All Might, can you give me details about the vill-"
All Might stops his friend and raises his hands up in worry.
"Wait! Please wait! More importantly, are all of the students okay? What about Aizawa-Eraser Head and Thirteen?"
Tsukauchi smiled and gently patted All Might's shoulder in reassurance.
"Other than that girl, only a few students had light injuries. And the two teachers are in stable condition for now."
Ichika let go of the breath within her lungs and put a hand onto her chest to try and calm her beating heart.
"If you three heroes had not risked your lives, then the students would not have survived."
All Might shakes his head and sits straight, facing his old friend.
"You're wrong about one thing, Tsukauchi. The students also fought and risked their lives."
"Have there been any first years who experienced a real fight so soon, survived, and learned of fear and the world of adults? Hah, the villains did something dumb. This class is strong. They will become strong heroes."
All Might looks to Ichika and nods to her, with a great big grin on his face.
"I am certain of it."
Ichika clenches her fists and nods to him. Everyone in the class probably knew it by now. But the attack? It was a wake-up call. It was their first step to hero hood, and if they don't keep taking the path. Then they'll never become heroes.
\ /
Later on...
Ichika walks out of the gates, her head deep in thought. She turns the corner to head to the train station and bumps into something hard.
"Ow...!"
"You know... For a hero, you have no awareness..."
Ichika looks up whilst clutching her head and gasps in surprise.
"Nii-san?!"
Izuku grinned weakly and winked at her. He put a hand on her head and Ichika blushed slightly, walking into his stomach to try and hide her embarrassment. There was a large beat of silence and Izuku ruffled her hair that was let down from her usual ponytail.
"Was it scary...?"
Ichika nodded into his stomach and hugged his waist with her one good arm. Izuku embraced her fully and put his chin on her head.
"You did well Ichika. Let's go home."
AN: College is over, so more chapters :p Sorry, I took so long.
Short one this time, but the next one should be a lot longer.
