Finding Speckles

Junior is so far down the rabbit hole but knows he has no choice. Through the mastery of his power, the Arbiter's prison begins to shake and rattle, the chains sway and clink. With a huge bang the prison vaporizes. Time's Arbiter is free once more. What will become of the world?

"There is nothing can be done here." The Arbiter states. "You must take me back to where it all began. When you turned on your own, destroyed your world. I didn't expect to feel like this, but I too must atone."

"Very well." Said Junior. "But you will find little comfort there." Junior opens up a portal to where it all began. 1000 years after his father returned from Gareth's time. Junior and Arbiter step through together…

They arrive once again to the barren, dead world that Junior created. "I tried to leave but I couldn't. I don't know what to do now." Said Junior. "Now you must face the truth, it is not the world that must be changed, it is YOU." The Arbiter said sternly. "But how? I ruined my world and killed my parents and now I cannot leave. Please, I JUST WANT MY DAD BACK!"

"Therein lies the problem." States the Arbiter. "You didn't kill your father, you ARE your father!" "What on Earth are you talking about?" Asked a very confused Junior. "Oh this is too perfect." Said the Arbiter. "His get-out clause. Did he tell you that Life, Death, Rebirth speech?"

"Gareth tried to avoid the usual trappings of life-immortal. To live one long and constant life forever will inevitably lead to madness and begging for the end. So he gave you the ability to live, die and be born again. That way no matter how long you are alive, each life begins anew and you will never feel the passing of one long life. But there was a huge flaw. There is always a Speckles and there is always a Junior. But at 1000 years you hit a snag. You were reborn as father and son at the SAME TIME! Thus Eternities Seal took over and tried to reset everything. The dinosaur standing before me is you Speckles/ Junior."

"In order for things to go back, you must become two separate entities again. But in order for that to happen I must become one with the White Dino again. He is after all my brother. When he separated from me to go live in Gareth's head, all of this began." "How can this be true? I remember my father's many lives and he remembers mine as his son?" Asks Junior/ Speckles.

"Bring forth the White Dino, he will explain better than I." "But the White Dino died many years back to save us." "He was never really alive or dead. He chooses whom he dwells in and simply stays until his time is done. Right now he is in Gareth's head, but he is also you and your son."

"This is getting far too complicated. Very well, it is time to end this insane game." Said Speckles/ Junior. He begins to glow brighter than the sun. "It is time to separate, and I will not take no for an answer." "Speckles, Junior, White Dino, You will come apart NOW." Shouts Time's Arbiter.

With a blinding white flash the three of them explode from a single body. Speckles, Junior and the White dino lie in a heap before Time's Arbiter. Junior and father look at each other, first with shock, then with utter bafflement. "It's you!" They both cry. Father and son throw themselves at each other. "Oh Junior, I am so sorry. You have had to go through so much for sins that were not yours. And even in your darkest hours, you still came through."

"It's okay dad, we've all had to re-discover ourselves many times since White Dino came amongst us. No matter what he puts us through, we will always find each other in the end."

White Dino is still lying on the ground. "Hey guys, not that I wish to break up this happy reunion, but did it not occur that I was being manipulated too? I only exist because he couldn't stand the pain of losing Blue Eyes." "Nor was I meant to be so evil." Spoke Time's Arbiter. "I am thus because he made me this way."

The White Dino and Time's Arbiter face each other. "Come brother." Spoke the Arbiter. "It is time to be one again." They launch themselves at each other while Speckles and Junior look on…
