"Eclipsa , can you help me prepare for my date with Fae tonight" said Nova nervously as he held a suit "I've known nothing about dates throughout my two lives and I want to be presentable"

"Sorry Nova , I have a date with Globgor tonight too" Said Eclipsa as she looked through her dresses "maybe you can help me first, which dress is better red or purple?"

"What?! Can't you move it to another day , when I can stal_" Said Nova frowning "uh...I mean , purple?"

"Hmm , maybe it's too royal like" said Eclipsa contemplating "don't want to be princess like during this date"

"I guess , I don't think about these things" said Nova frowning

"Maybe we should ask someone who knows more about clothes" pondered Eclipsa putting her hand on her chin

"Just no overly fancy clothes" said Nova narrowing his eyes

"Did somebody say, overly fancy clothes?" Said someone as they barged into the room cheerfully

It was none other than Jushtin the uncalculated

"The context was "no overly fancy clothes"" deadpanned Nova

"Oh...ok...wait *sniff X 2* what's this smell , this smell of excitement and passion , this sight of nervous pondering over the tiniest of details" said Jushtin narrowing his eyes as the twins sweat nervously "do you two have dates?"

"Uhh..how?" Asked Nova raising a brow

"Not important! What's important now is prepare for the perfect date" said Jushtin cheerfully

"Uncle Jushtin , not to be ru_" said Eclipsa but Jushtin cut her off

"Oh don't worry my dear niece , I'll make the both of you as presentable as possible" said Jushtin happily "I'll stop at nothing to make your first dates perfect!"

Nova and Eclipsa looked at each other nervously

"Now I don't know if you've meet them before but I nonetheless introduce!" Said Jushtin excitedly "The boy prince cru! We have prince Sazmo of the dock of unending torment! Prince Pea-pea of the musty mountain caves! Viscount Tinbenz of the forest of unlikely spider bites! And last but definitely not least! Wizzbag of garbage beach!"

"We should've avoided this with magic" said Eclipsa wincing

"I won't say you're wrong" said Nova wincing as well

"Oh don't worry my doubtful niece and nephew! I will make the two of you shine!" said Jushtin happily "now! Boy prince cru! Let's start with fashion!"

Then out of nowhere a giant array of dresses and suits appeared and they began their work

"This...is actually pretty good" said Eclipsa in confusion as she looked in the mirror

She was wearing a dark purple dress that looked in everyone's opinion، amazing

"I know , it's weird" said Nova inspecting his clothes

He was wearing a dark red tux with black (idk the normally white part in the black tux) and a dark red bowtie , the pants were the same color as the bowtie and the tux

"Of course it is , what did you think would happen?" Asked Tinbenz of the spider bites

"A disaster?" Said Eclipsa shrugging

"So bad we'd have a lesson about understanding others because of it?" Said Nova shrugging

"Heavens no" replied Tinbenz "we're good at we do"

"Yeah , but it's missing something" said Jushtin with a hand on his chin "oh! I got it!"

Then Jushtin left for a few seconds before coming back with a wrapped gift box

"This was supposed to be for your birthday" said Jushtin as he opened the box revealing a hat "but today's date takes precedence"

Then he handed the hat off to Eclipsa , and non of them knew that she'd wear that hat even after three hundred years

"Sorry Nova but your birthday's gift isn't ideal for a date" said Jushtin cheerfully "so you'll have to wait to get it"

"Now that that's done" said Pea-pea "we're gonna have to work on your behavior"

Nova started listening knowing that these guys were professionals

"You need to look cool in front of your date , so you're gonna have to use your battle face for this date" said Jushtin smiling

"My war face?" Asked Nova raising a brow

"You know? The face and act you do during battles defending mewni, training with anyone but your mother and when you're talking to the magical high commission" said Jushtin raising a brow "I've seen you scold many soldiers into a shivering mess using it"

"Oh *finger snap* that" said Nova realizing what they were talking about "I picked up that habit after...how are we gonna use it again?"

Jushtin shrugged and continued

"If my sister is like a raging fire, then you my dear nephew are like a freezing blizzard" said Jushtin cheerfully "we have to bring out the charm of that demeanor, we're using to make you look cool , so let's start practicing!"

And they practiced till the time of the date

Nova took a deep breath as he stood in front of Melofae's house , it was underground , the door was fancy though , not like anyone would see it , the place itself was extremely well hidden underground

Nova knocked on the door and it opened a few seconds after

And inside he saw...a gigantic library ,and floating in the middle was Melofae

She was wearing a violet turtleneck sleeveless dress, no cloak to hide anything ,her smooth black hair was made into a ponytail instead of the usual of letting it be,

(I forgot to add some stuff about her , her usual haircut is simply, no haircut , leaving it normal , her hair is normally long enough to reach her waist, and her usual dress from the last chapter is a sleeveless turtleneck dress and is black)

"You...look great" said Nova looking away so Fae wouldn't see his blush 'remember to act cool' he thought

"Well, you look... acceptable!" said Melofae not making eye contact

"Well my lady, shall I be your partner for tonight?" Said Nova calmly as he offered his hand

Melofae blushed at that

'he's trying to act fancy ,it's so adorable!' thought Melofae hiding her blush 'i can't peek into his mind but I can smell how focused he is , oh wait! I should probably ask him about that!'

Then they walked to aboveground to reveal...a horse, a warnicorn

Nova couldn't just become bigger to travel long distances like Globgor but riding a warnicorn was a piece of cake

The two rode the warnicorn to their date location ,a restaurant that didn't care if you're monster or mewman as long as you payed , they're plenty fancy too

And on the way as they rode on the saddle of the horse, and after a blush fest because of Melofae having to hug Nova to not get flung off the Warnicorn , Melofae asked

"So Nova , I wanted to ask , why can't I read your mind?" Asked Melofae bluntly

"What?" Asked Nova in confusion

"You know , my antlers that let me hear thoughts , my bottom set of eyes that lets me see your thoughts , they don't work on you" said Melofae smelling genuine confusion from Nova

(Be mindful of the words hear and see , her antlers are ears for people's thoughts and her bottom set of eyes (again she has 4) see the thoughts , sound and image are different, the nose smells emotions)

"I... honestly have no idea" said Nova in confusion "I forgot you even read minds"

Then Nova realized that if it weren't for this oddity that he would've embarrassed himself in front of Fae , not knowing that she could smell his relief

Fae giggled at the smell of relief

They reached their destination

Nova saw his sister with Globgor, he wanted to make sure Globgor pays if he does anything bad to his sister but he also had his date , and his sister has magic

"Let's head in shall we?" Said Nova with a calm smile as he extended his hand again

Melofae accepted with a smile , ready for the fancy talk this time

She accepted his hand and they walked in together

Not knowing that a certain cru was stalking them

"So , is the food to your liking?" Said Nova with a calm smile as he as from his plate

"I can't eat mewman food" said Melofae awkwardly

Nova choked on his food after hearing this

"But don't worry, I brought some food of my own" said Melofae cheerfully as she pulled out a vial "some delicious...mewman...minds"

"No no ,you can eat it this time" said Nova smiling awkwardly

"Uh ,no, I'm not hungry" said Fae as she threw away the vial

The vial broke on some furniture and it gained sentience

The two were laughing awkwardly until they heard a commotion

It was coming from Eclipsa's table , Globgor yelling at someone in his hands with other people yelling at him for it

The people were all in the same looking cloaks

"Should we check that out?" Asked Fae

"If it's okay with you" said Nova as his calm act was cracking

Fae nodded and they went to check it out

"Hey! what's going on here?" Asked Nova calmly

"This monster is trying to eat our friend!" Said one of the robed men

"Globgor" said Nova turning to Globgor

"He attacked me while calling me vile!" Replied Globgor

"So , what! You a_" said one of the robed men but Nova cut him off

"Look, I don't have the patience to deal with this right now" said Nova coldly as he gripped the man's arm "so you should just leave or else"

"B_" but before the man could finish even a word Nova's grip became painfully tight for the man

And then the man struggled with his arm until Nova let go

The man fell revealing what's under his hood

"Pea-pea?!" Said Nova and Eclipsa in union "so those are"

Then the other robed men removed the robes to reveal...the boy prince cru!

"Did you lot follow us here?" Asked Nova coldly

"...yes" replied the whole cru in union

"Globgor please restrain them" said Nova coldly

Then Globgor had all of the cru in his hands

"But he's a monste_" said Pea-pea but Eclipsa cut him off

"Mind eraser" said Eclipsa nonchalantly before firing a memory removing spell from the wand knocking Pea-pea unconscious

"Geez! At least let the man plead his case!" Yelled prince Sazmo nervously

"We all know what he was about to say" said Nova rolling his eyes

"A size-shifter and a mind-eater , these are the most dangerous monsters out of them all" said Tinbenz

"Actually mind-eaters are borderline monsters, not exactly monsters but not not monsters at the same time" said Fae before receiving confused gazes "like the lucitors , they're borderline mewman , mewman but on the edge of not being mewman"

"Uh...ok?" Said Sazmo in confusion

"Hey!" Yelled a waiter "no fighting in this restaurant , get out! You're all banned from here!"

Eclipsa was finished with erasing everyone's memory after they were all kicked out

Well except Jushtin, but before she could erase his memory

"Before you erase my memory , I'd like to have a talk with... your dates...alone" said Jushtin

Eclipsa shrugged and Jushtin spoke to Fae and Globgor

They didn't hear what they were talking about but they could hear Globgor yelling "absolutely not!" And Fae yelled "never" directly after

Nova then jumped on some tree and sat on a branch , he sighed

"This date was awful" said Nova frowning

"Oh , hello" said Fae as she flew to the branch

"*Sigh* I understand if you don't want to go out with me anymore" said Nova frowning "you can go someone who wouldn't mess up this many times"

"I...am willing to give you another chance" said Fae not making eye contact

"Why?" Asked Nova in confusion

"Because of how hard you were trying, you deserve another chance" said Fae before seeing a look of confusion on Nova's face "I can still smell your emotions"

Nova flushed in embarrassment , he covered his face but Fae could still smell the embarrassment

Fae giggled at this before sitting next to him

"Don't worry about it , it's_" said Fae before she felt something on her cheek

Nova gave her a kiss on the cheek

Fae flushed in embarrassment

"Why did you do that?!" yelled Fae frowning as she blushed

"I didn't want to be the only one embarrassed" said Nova covering his face with his hands

"You! Jerk!" Said Fae as she started hitting Nova with her hands

Which did the opposite of hurting Nova as her hands were as soft as pillows

"Do I still have a second chance for a date?" Asked Nova smiling

"I'm... feeling generous" said Fae looking the other way "so I'll go on a second date"

Then they heard Globgor yell

"Yes! Second date!" In the distance
