There was a moment of awkwardness when Ash unexpectedly arrived in downtown in some place called Republic City. Ash's weird ability, in which he randomly appeared in certain circumstances, has finally caught up to him when he stood before a group of teens who were gawking at him. No one really said anything for the longest time until an enthusiastic Bolin broke the silence when he spoke up.

"Whoa, dude, did you just fell from the sky?" the Earthbender asked.

"Um, well, I suppose you could say that..." Ash replied uncertainly, unsure what to say.

"Cool, cool!" Bolin seemingly looked satisfied with the half-ass answer, but then had a crazy thought about the "potential" space invader. "Are you alien?!" he gasped with a big shock expression on his face.

"Uh, what?"

Mako slapped his forehead. "Oh, brother..." he murmured. "Not this again..." He shook his head.

"Um, Bolin...you might want to take another closer look." Korra said with a sweat drop. Ash looked normal to her, for the most part. "I'm pretty sure he's not an alien."

"Oh! Right, right, my bad!" he said sheepishly.

Everyone rolled their eyes.

Then another crazy assumption came to the Earthbender.

"That means he's a super hero!"

"No." Ash said deadpanned.

"Oh, man..."

"Bolin, how in the world did you get the idea that he was a super hero?!" Mako asked incredulously, completely in disbelief with his younger brother's crazy assumptions. "He's not even wearing a cape!"

"Or a costume," The young beautiful Avatar added, somewhat amused.

"Right, right...silly me." Bolin simply laughed.

The Earthbender tried once more and it wasn't exactly out of the realm of possibilities, but it still led to the same result.

"Maybe he's an Airbender?"

"I don't know what that is, but no...I'm not an Airbender either." Ash immediately shuts down the idea of more potential Airbenders on the rise.

"Then perhaps you're a Waterbender?" Korra asked hopefully.

Ash shook his head. "Nope, sorry."

"How about a Firebender?" Mako joined in, only to produce the same result like his friends.

"Nope, not a Firebender either."

"Hmm..." Team Avatar was now stumped and fell into deep thought, thinking over other possibilities. It didn't take long for Bolin to speak up again.

"A-ha!" Mako and Korra groaned. Oh, boy...they can't wait to hear what outrageous theory he had now. "I think I know."

"Let me guess. He's an alien, right?" The older brother mocked.

"Don't be ridiculous, Mako." Bolin retorted, earning a surprise blink from Mako. "We know aliens don't exist."

"Then what, Bolin?" Korra asked curiously.

Bolin grinned and responded. "He's Ash Ketchum, a character from a popular anime series called Pokémon." Everyone blinked in surprise. "And the only reason he's here is because the author is forcing him to go around in different popular anime and video game series for his own amusement."

"...That sounds about right." Ash said in awe.

"Bro, how do you know?" Mako asked incredulously

Maybe his brother wasn't a goofball after all.

"Oh, that's easy-" Bolin started to explain as he picked up a piece of paper off the ground and showed it. "-it was on this piece of paper. I just read off of it."

Everyone fell over.

"..I-I should've known." Mako said with a sweat drop.

"A-Anyway..." Bolin decided to change the subject, refocusing his attention back to the newcomer. "Since you're new here, how about we show you around." He walked up to the Pokémon Trainer and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. "Right guys?" The Earthbender offered a grin to his fellow Team Avatar members.

They blinked and then exchanged brief looks with each other before glancing back to their Bolin.

"I guess."

"Sure."

Bolin had an even bigger grin on his face and glanced back to Ash. "How about it?

"I guess that's fine..."

Bolin was pleased, but then leaned in a bit closer and whispered. "A friendly advice: don't get too close to Korra." Ash blinked. "Mako's dating her." he said with a dejected sigh.

"Uh, Bolin? You know we can hear you right?" his older brother asked deadpanned with a frown.

Ignoring the Firebender, he continued. "I should know. I tried and Korra crushed my heart." Anime tears flowed down from his crying eyes.

"H-Hey!" Korra didn't like what she heard. "You make it sound like I'm the bad guy here!" She had her hands on her hips and scowled.

Once again, Bolin ignored his friends and continued. "But don't worry my friend if they ever break up, you might have a chance with Korra." He grinned.

"Bolin!"

I had fun with this one. Bolin is such a funny and awesome character in the Legend of Korra series. Did you guys enjoy the funny moments? And yes...Bolin is secretly a shipper for ASH X KORRA. Sorry Mako fans. :p Also, I'm going to be out of town for the weekend starting Friday and won't be back until Sunday so the poll for chapter 5 will start from Wednesday until I return from the trip on Sunday. It will give you guys more time to vote.
