Morning

Claire woke up to the sound of something pulling into the driveway, but not bothering to get out of bed," CLAIRE YOU BETTER BE UP!" Claire dragged herself out of bed not feeling like leaving her room.

"Jesus Claire, did you sleep well?"

"No."

"Well, you better get ready soon because we're going to leave for the R.P.D. soon," Chris told Claire who was half-asleep standing up," Go get ready, Jill's shifts ends in about an hour and a half." Claire left to get ready and didn't put a ton of thought into her outfit with a simple white long-sleeved shirt and jeans with a hoodie and left her hair down for a change.

Chris ended up dragging Claire to the car as Ellen stood outside the door waving to them,

"So how well did you sleep?"

"Not too well."

"Care to elaborate?"

"I saw this girl. She looked like me, but she had black hair, my made in heaven was black, she also looked like she had been in the sewers almost? It was crazy."

"Huh, sounds fun."

" I hate you."

"I know you like me."

"Some days."

"Ok so quick rundown on S.T.A.R.S, Weskers a tall dude and don't piss him off, Barry's pretty chill, Jill you'd like her, Joseph is a jerk and don't pay him any attention, Brad is basically a coward you honestly could replace him. Bravo, they are all pretty chill out of all of them you'd like Rebbeca the most but she can be a bit mysterious."

"How so?"

"Well she's always reading this book and no one knows it, not even Wesker and she will not tell him what it's about."

"That's normal she probably just doesn't want you guys to judge her."

"Well, you can see for yourself cause we are here."

Claire looked up at the huge building before Chris dragged her again to the entrance. Going in what seemed like circles Chris finally stopped at a door that was pretty isolated. He opened the door and saw that only a few S.T.A.R.S members were there.

"You're lucky Chris, the captain just left but he'll be back soon," A man that looked like a giant to Claire said.

"That's Barry."

Claire nodded looking up at him,

"Hey, Chris. Is that Claire?"

"Yeah, Jill it's Claire." The woman who had asked the question smiled and waved,* She looks way too nice to be in S.T.A.R.S, I was expecting everyone to be physically intimidating.* Claire thought as Chris was in a conversation with Jill.

Claire turned to see anyone else and then she locked eyes with a girl who had big-green eyes but they didn't fit her body. She looked like she was younger than Claire but her eyes said she had been in wars and hell.

Before either girl could say a word to each other the door opened revealing a man who was wearing sunglasses indoors which Claire found odd, and he was dragging a smaller man who looked deathly terrified of him,

"Your paperwork will be completed before you even leave your seat, Joseph. Even Chris has his done and I didn't have to remind him this time."

The man in sunglasses turned to Claire who was halfway covered by Chris,

"Who would this be Redfield?"

"This is my sister captain."

Chris moved out of the way but Claire wanted to stay behind him fearing the man,

"Why are you trying to hide from me?"

Claire didn't respond to him

'Hey you got to answer him, he's behind patient.'

"You're just scary, that's why I'm hiding from you."

"What would your name be."

Claire's expression changed fast from a scared to the one that should be feared.

"It's Claire Redfield."

Instead of looking at the man who still hasn't introduced himself her attention went right to the girl from before who showed her book that had a weird symbol on it.

"Well then Claire, I am Albert Wesker caption of the S.T. . Alpha team."

Joseph had turned to Claire but immediately turned back to his desk in fear of what he just saw,* Oh God, when did half her face burn off? I can't be the only one that saw it.*

Wesker turned to his office without a word," There he goes won't see him for a while," the girl apparently named Jill said.

"Takes real guts to speak to Wesker like that."

"What would you mean?"

"No one verbally challenges him like that. A normal cop did that and the dude runs in fear of Wesker now."

"I don't think I caught your name."

"Never said it, it's Rebbeca Chambers."

The two girls looked at each other for a while, before the door was slammed open," Is Chris Redfield in here?"

Chris turned to the man who opened the door and Wesker left his own office clearly pissed,

"What would you need?"

"It's about his mom. She was recently found dead in her yard."

"Everyone in the room looked shocked even Wesker,

"What do you mean dead."

"The neighbors called saying she just collapsed and she wasn't moving."

"How the hell did she die?"

"It looks like it was a natural cause, just a heart attack."

Chris looked at the officer in shock, but it was Claire who had taken the news the worst,

"Hey, it's ok-,"

"No, it's fucking not. I just lost one of the most important people to me right after I lost the other one. I know the world isn't sunshine and rainbows; it's a fight to survive, WITH NO SAFE PLACE."

Jill looked at the younger Redfield in shock who left the room angry," Well you pissed her off even more." Rebbeca gave with no hint of sarcasm. Jill just looked at her with her really face," Hum, I couldn't really tell with her looking like she was going to kill me."

Rebbeca just shrugged and went back to reading,* Got you Alessa, thanks Joseph and Wesker for getting Alessa to leak through from Claire now I've got to be the guardian Alessa asked me to be all those years ago.*
