Natsumi's Tale
Summary
I didn't like mornings for a reason, but to be honest would any girl enjoy having to put up a henge Under a powerful seal. So to make a long story short, because of an incident when I was little, My berth name Natsumi Hyuga had to become Naruto Uzumaki for my safety.
The Land Of Whirlpool
A few days later, I was well enough to go back to training. I was delighted to find out that our next mission was going to be in the land of fire.
"You sure seem excited Natsumi-Sama, are you familiar with the land of fire?" Sakura asked, blinking in confusion as she stared at me curiously. I nodded eagerly and spoke up excitedly.
"Y-y-yes I-I a-am, I-I found a-a book about the land of Whirlpool. I also found that one of the last Uzumaki was a girl name K-Kushina Uzumaki." I quietly explained, and Sakura spoke up next after a few moments of silance.
"I don't get it, how does Kushina fit in with you?" I giggled and replied calmly,
"K-Kushina is m-my m-mother, and she also had H-H-Hyuga b-blood a-as w-w-well... witch makes me a-a member of the H-H-Hyuga a-and U-U-Uzumaki c-clans." I quietly explained. They both blinked, then Kakashi spoke up out of nowhere.
"How did you find a book about the Uzumaki clan?" I jumped, letting out a startled yelp.
"Eep K-K-Kakashi-s-sensei? Where d-did y-you c-come f-from?" He just shrugged and replied.
"Okay let's get going everyone, it's going to be a long journey." We nodded and started our 2 day journey to the land of fire, home of one of my clans. But when we arrived 2 days later I was not expecting to see the land of fire to be distorted.
The only building that was still standing was the main building where the members of the Uzumaki clan lived. I found my moms room and decided to explore, after a while I found a picture of Kushina when she was younger. I also found some of her clothes, like a black dress with the Uzumaki clans symbol on the fruit in red. I also found black knee high boots, and a pair of red tights and black fingerless gloves. And I tried them on and they fit, witch concluded that Kushina was my age when she wore this outfit. To finish the outfit I found 2 red flower pine that I put in my hair. I looked in the mirror of the closet and I smiled at my appearance. Before leaving the room I put my long hair into a neat braid.
After putting the new outfit on I gathered my clothes in my bag, and I was wearing my ninja headband around my neck. It took a couple of days but we finished the mission. We gathered the information we needed and headed back to the Hidden Leaf Village. It took a couple more days because we ran into a few missing nins. It was annoying fighting them because one of them could use Ice style techniques, just like Haku. I sighed as I thought of the Ice user who had died in the battle back in the land of Waves.
Once we got back to the Hidden Leaf village we headed to report what we had found out.
"W-we f-f-found the U-Uzumaki c-clan m-main c-compound." I said looking up at the Hokage.
"Yes we arrived to the Land of Fire... but on the way back we ran into some missing ninja." Kakashi said as he informed the man. After we explained the mission we left the tower and we headed to our homes. It took me a while but I arrived at the compound at midday.
When I finally arrived to the Hyuga compound two if the elders greeted me.
"Welcome back Natsumi-Sama, the clan head has requested to talk with you." I bowed and entered the compound. I went up to my room and quickly chained my outfit, once I was finished I headed to my uncles office. I was nervous as I usually was when it came to my uncle. I waited by the door and politely knocked.
I entered the room and waited politely for Hiashi to speak.
"You may take a seat Natsumi-San, I understand that Kakashi took you on a C rank mission... that turned into an S rank mission." Hiashi said looking at me for a moment before he spoke again.
"Great job Natsumi-Sama." He said calmly, I bowed in thanks and I quietly left and went up to my room.
I was sitting on my bed reading a book about the land of Fire, when there was a knock at my door. I looked up and responded with a quieter.
"C-come in." The door slowly opened and Hinata entered quietly closing the door behind her.
"What are you reading?" She asked glancing over my shoulder. I shrugged and replied softly.
"I-It's about the l-land of F-Fire." Hinata's eyes lit up and she spoke.
"Isn't that where the Uzumaki clan come from?" She asked looking at me with a bright smile. I laughed at her excitement and I showed her the book. We sat there reading for a few hours before another knock came at the door. We both looked up as one of the branch members spoke.
"Lady Hinata, Lady Natsumi, It's time to prepare for dinner." We smiled and bowed as the man left, we got up and headed to wash up for dinner.
Dinner was quite as it usually was so nothing interesting happened. I glanced to my left to see Hinabi and Hinata was on my right. After I finished I asked to be excused and I when they up to my room. I glanced over at Hinata who had also asked to be finished. We were training together in secret so we could get stronger. After we trained for a while I went to go find Neji, I need his help with mastering the eight trigrams sixty four palms technique. I was getting banter at it but I needed more practice, it took a while but I eventually found Neji, I trained with him for a few hours before we had to get some sleep.
The next morning I awoke early and I got ready for the day. I was weren't a black fishnet tank top with a light blue sweater of it, I was wearing black leggings with blue Shinobie sandals. And to finish it up I styled my hair in a neat braid and my ninja headband around my neck. After I finished, I headed downstairs so I could make breakfast for my uncle cousins and myself. I was finishing up making pancakes when Hinata and Hanabi came down the stairs looking like they had just woken up. I cover my mouth as I tried not to laugh. At that moment my uncle came down and he nodded towards Hinata and Hanabi.
"Natsumi, since you are all ready for the day, after you are finished I need to speak with you. And Hinata and Hinabi after you two are finnashed you two have five minutes to get ready." My uncle said looking at the two girls as they nodded.
After my uncle finished his conversation I headed to the meeting place of my teammates. I was the first one there this morning, usually Sasuke was the first one there. I decided to pull out a book and wait for my teammates to arrive. I was sitting in a tree branch still reading my book when both Sasuke and Sakura approached.
"Well Kakashi-sense is late as usual." Sakura said glaring up at the sky. I sighed shaking my head as I went back to my book.
It took Kakashi sensei two hours before he finally arrived.
"Well... hello sorry I'm late." As my two teammates glared at him I looked up from my book as I spoke.
"You're l-late s-sensei... you m-make us w-wait for a l-long t-time." I said with my eyes narrowing as I activated my Byakugan in warning. He laughed nervously as I jumped down from the tree that I was perched in.
"And y-yes as I said b-before, y-you're l-late." I remarked with my arms crossed and my eyes narrowed.
"Now look what yo did Kakashi sensei! You've managed to make a Hyuga mad and annoyed at you!" Sakura smirked, I knew her tone was joking but apparently our sensei thought that she was serious. So just for a little fun I got into the Hyuga defense position as I narrowed my eyes in my best Impression of mock anger. But after a few Moments later my teammates and I ended up in a fit of giggles, witch confused our sensei.
"Y-you a-actually t-thought S-Sakura-Chan was s-serious?" I maned to say in between giggles as I tried and failed to deactivate my Byakugan. So it took a while but we finally calmed down and I was able to deactivate my Byakugan.
"Well Apparently you can't deactivate your Byakugan when your in a fit of giggles." Kakashi observed as I turned to my other teammates.
A few hours later the three of us were panting from chakra training. My hair had long since come Luce from its braid and my bangs kept getting in my eyes.
"Okay, you all need to take a rest... if you don't you might go into chakra exhaustion." Kakashi spoke up as he looked up from his book.
"Oh and Natsumi? You might want to deactavate you Byakugan before you pass out." I nodded slowly as I slowly did the hand seals. My tired brain apparently forgot that I was deactivating my bloodline... so it took a moment before my brain caught up. I let out a tired sigh as my eyes returned to normal, it was a hot and sunny day and we had been training for a while. We all gave a sigh of relief when we finally got a break, we all sat in a circle underneath a group a tall tress.
"W-well this is n-nice." I remarked as both Sakura and Sasuke just nod in agreement. Then a few minutes later Kakashi spoke up.
"Alright, You can all head home now." We all nodded silently, we were all to tired to speak, as we decided to just go to the Hyuga compound, since it was the closest.
As the three of us neared the gates we were greeted by my bodyguard, Hitomi Hyuga.
"Hello, Natsumi-Sama. I see you brought friends." She remarked as I spoke up shyly.
"Y-yes, t-they are m-my t-teammates. S-Sakura-Chan and S-Sasuke-San." I said as Hitomi smiled warmly.
