NINJAGO HIGHSCHOOL: CHAPTER FOUR: LUNCH TIME
Lunch was the only class Lloyd really liked, even if it wasn't an actual class. He could eat and talk to his friends, which was always nice. Lloyd wishes he had study hour, because you're allowed to do anything there as long as you aren't loud. That would be ample nap time. However he has to make due with his current sleep patterns.
"So, where's Zane" Jay asked. He tends to swap between eating lunch with his girlfriend Nya, and with his friends. Both of them agreed this would keep from eroding friendships. "Robots don't need to eat!" Cole exclaimed. "Yeah but he hangs out here still rock-head." Kai argued. He swears it's like this every day. Lloyd looked at his food and kept eating. He wasn't super vocal at lunch.
Then Zane walked in. Almost everyone looked over to him. He was in a leather jacket, wearing sunglasses with blue lenses. Despite how cool he sounded, he never acknowledged how people treated him, because he was humbler than that. Zane took his empty seat and sat down. "Hello guys." "Hey Zane!" Jay said excitedly, even when he sees him almost every day. I heard there was an announcement, but I was not there. What happened?" "There's a GSA club and a new gaming team for the school." Kai explained. "Interesting. I doubt a nindroid could join a gaming team, it would be unfair." Zane said. "Yeah, but they'd let ME join." Cole said arrogantly.
Before the conversation could continue, Cole heard someone say his name a bit loudly behind him. He turned around and saw Karlof standing over him with a glare. "What do YOU want metal-head?" Cole stood up and tried to act tough. "Morro told me you pushed him in locker." Karlof growled. "So what? He reminded Mr Krux about our homework. He deserved it." Karlof clenched his fists. "Bullying is bullying. I break bully!" Karlof went to swing his fist into Cole's face. Cole dodged it and jabbed Karlof's stomach. Karlof stepped back and grunted, and turned one of his hands into a metal glove. Cole did the same, but with rock. They punched both hands at the same time, and a loud CLANG was heard.
Most of the lunch room was chanting "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT". Morro was shouting about he was gonna tell a teacher. The main gang looked away, embarrassed, except Zane, who just looked around. After a bit of fighting, the head chef, Skalidor, walked in shouted at them to stop. Karlof relented, and Cole got up from the ground, trying to act tough. "I am sending both of you to the principal's office. Maybe you'll get a visit from the dean." Cole groaned, and Karlof silently walked with them. Kai sighed. "It's always Cole and that shit." Lloyd agreed with him. "I wish he would just stop..." Lloyd looked around. "Hey, I'm noticing I'm not seeing Harumi and her gamer squad here." "Yeah, pretty sure they eat lunch at the club room. Probably to keep their skills up." Lloyd thought a bit. "You think I should join?" Kai thought a it too. "Hmm, is it because of Harumi?" He teased. "No, I just think I could join a club. I need to do something with my life." "Well I'd say go for it." Jay said. Kai nodded in agreement. "Okay then, when I can, I'll go check out the gamer club."
It was the end of the day, and Lloyd texted his mom that he'd be a bit late. He walked over to the gamer club room. On his way, Tox stopped him for a bit. "Hey Lloyd. Sorry to bother you, but have you considered joining the Gay Straight Alliance?" "Uhh, not at the moment no. I'll think about it though." Tox nodded and walked away. "If you ever change your mind find me or Chamile!" Lloyd waved goodbye. He finally found the gamer club. The door had a controller symbol on it, which was expected. He took a deep breath and opened the door.
