Chapter 4: Our Favorite Summer Hangouts

The next day, I met up with Sarah, James, and Henri, as well as some of my other best friends Alex Russo, Justin Evans, and Max Greenwald for a discussion group on summer hangouts instead of documentaries at the Waterfront in Homestead. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. First, we met in Barnes and Noble before heading over to Red Robin for dinner while listening to music from 98 Degrees and Santana, of course. "I decided to change my mind on what topic I want to talk about," Alex announced. "I have not really watched many documentaries lately, and I want to talk about something that we can all relate to!" "Before we get started, did you know that I used to be in a support group once too, Max?" Henri asked. "I think that you have told me that several times before, Henri," Max stated. "Yes, we received our education at a private music school before furthering our education in college. The 'MSG' in Academy is short for 'Music Support Group'." "What were some of your favorite outings back then, Justin?" James asked. "Well, James, we pretty much did the same things that we all do today," Justin explained. "Except for we went to the Pittsburgh Mills Mall instead of the Monroeville Mall, Zone 28 instead of Scene 75, and of course, we had Sandcastle and Kennywood trips!" "I think that our senior trip to Kennywood was the best because that was the last time that we could all see each other after our high school graduation prior to heading off for college and going our separate ways," Alex explained. "What about movie theaters, Alex?" Sarah asked. "You forgot to mention that." "Oh, thanks for reminding me, Sarah," Alex remarked. "We had the South Pike Cinemas instead of the Loew's Waterfront Theater, and as a matter of fact, they are both AMC-branded theaters." "I also think that our love of Latino dance anthems will continue well into the summer months," I pointed out. "Now, I have a new favorite song to request at both Sandcastle and Kennywood that you guys introduced me to and that we all like." "Are you talking about our dance anthem?" Sarah asked. "No, I am talking about Alex's dance anthem," I explained. "It's her group, so she obviously gets the say in what song plays." "Just remember that nobody is in control of what music they play at the parks, Angel," Alex told me. Just then, Alex began to feel a little dizzy. "I'm sorry, guys, but it looks like I am going to have to end our meeting a little early because I am starting to feel very sick," Alex told us. "What's wrong?" Sarah asked. "I am starting to get a really bad migraine headache, and it is best for all of us to go home and rest," Alex explained. "Okay then," I told my female friend. "Feel better soon!" Then, Sarah, James, and Henri drove me back to my mentor, Jenna's apartment in Point Breeze. "Thanks for a great day anyway, guys!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Bye, guys!" "Bye!"
