Crash Course
Teito was unsettled with the information of both the eyes of Mikhail and Raphael but he unwinded with Mikage.
Mikage didn't ask him any questions seeing the stress in Teito's face and allowed him to take as much time as he has without bothering him.
As for the Black Hawks, he did notice the tasks Ayanami had him do where menial and repetitive but he wasn't complaining. He was sure he had done as much during his day in the academy.
As for the members themselves, Teito did manage to make friends with them given how he was able to put with up with the tasks Ayanami had on him like delivering paperwork, sending a message to another commanding officer etc, etc.
For Kuroyuri, Teito couldn't tell if it's a boy or a girl but they got along well. Kuroyuri made a blunt threat to Teito that if he turns on Ayanami, they'll kill him in his sleep. Something Teito took seriously. Kuroyuri happily admitted that they were a Warsfeil and while Teito felt unnerved by that, he discovered that Kuroyuri can be nice to him especially when they forced him to eat whatever they made, compensating it with something delicious. Teito and Kuroyuri treat each other like siblings of a sort. Playful siblings.
For Hyuuga, Hyuuga treats Teito as a little brother of sorts. He likes to tease and being playful to Teito and sometimes bosses Teito to do his paperwork. Too bad that stopped when Teito told Ayanami that Hyuuga asked him to do his paperwork and twice a time where Teito witnessing Ayanami punishing Hyuuga. They are on good terms with each other and Hyuuga is affectionate towards Teito on some occasions.
For Katsuragi, he kind of treated Teito in a motherly like manner as he would often ask Teito about his health, how his day has been has been, offer to buy him a snack etc. Teito has to admit, he liked Katsuragi very much. Enough to admit most of his problems, though they weren't much, to him.
For Haruse, they don't talk much but remain in good terms. Haruse is almost like a brother to him and encourages him to be friends with Kuroyuri despite them being a Warsfeil. Teito took this advice and it paid off.
For Konatsu, they are colleagues, like most of Black Hawks Teito has interacted with, they worked hard, tried to please their superiors and both having to put up with the other Black Hawks...eccentricities. They're both workers and they know it too. Ayanami knows it too and they've both been praised when they're together. They are both polite to each other and help each other when they needed it.
At one time, Teito was flying hide Hawkzile, it malfunction and sent him crashing near District 7...
He awoke in a peaceful room where three men stood up.
"You're awake..how about that..." A man's voice said..
He tried to get up but a pair of hands stopped him. "Woah..woah..easy there..easy. You've been out cold a couple of days now." Another voice called out.
He looked up and saw three men wearing three difference coats.
"Can you tell us your name? We'll tell you ours then you say yours." A man wearing a dark blue trench coat and with glasses and brown hair. "My name is Castor."
"I'm Labrador." Says a man with purple lilac hair and a leather catsuit. Beautiful but clearly a man.
"And I'm Frau." Said a third man wearing a blue trench coat lighter than Castor's with a handsome look and blonde hair.
Teito decided to extend the same courtesy they showed him. "T-Teito Klein."
Castor politely said. "Thank you for telling us Teito."
Frau commented. "Judging by your uniform, you're part of the military." Teito nodded.
Labrador pointed out. "While we were traveling, your vehicle malfunction and you were flying down. Frau here caught you."
Teito asked. "So what happens now?"
Castor answered. "We'll let you stay here so that you can heal your injuries. If you ever wish to return to the military, you can inform us of your decision."
"Thank you." Teito said. And the three left him to rest.
After a whole night of resting, Teito wandered around the church grounds where he met three nuns who fussed over his uniform which was torn. They offered to repair the clothing which he accepted.
He's not sure if the military knew what happened to him and boredom did get the better of him so he decided to go to the library.
That is until an unknown doll who looked to be of a bishop gave Teito a clergy pass saying a name...
Fea Kreuz.
He asked Castor and Labrador about the name and they told him that Fea Kreuz had stolen something called a Pandora's Box and has been excommunicated from the church. Castor also said that this caused the downfall of Raggs as they gave Kreuz shelter from Barsburg. Teito thanked them for this but there is something that clicked on his mind regarding the name.
Everything so far has been calm for Teito but all things come to an end when he spotted Hyuuga in the church gates.
Teito ran to him and Hyuuga said. "I've been sent by Ayanami to pick you up. Turns out that malfunction was some sick prank one of the engineers formerly from the academy decided to play on you."
Teito nodded. "Alright. I'll just go say goodbye to everyone and get my uniform from the nuns."
Teito said his goodbyes to Frau, Castor and Labrador and picked his uniform from the nuns who repaired it then left with Hyuuga.
Teito returned to the capital where he embraced Mikage who told him that he reported the man who sabotaged Teito's Hawkzile and the man has been demoted and pay reduced.
He went to Ayanami's office where the Chief wasted no time saying. "Teito! I apologize for the malfunction of your Hawkzile. I assure you that it is merely a test run and it none of our intention to put in harm's way by sabotaging your gear. Thanks to your friend, Mikage's report, the perpetrator has been apprehended."
Teito nodded. "I've been taken care of by the people in the church."
Ayanami leaned in his chair. "Teito, you are to partner with Kuroyuri and assassinate some...conspirators who are working for the former kingdom of Raggs."
'Raggs.' Teito thought but he saluted. "Yes sir."
"Good. You are dismissed." Ayanami ordered and Teito bowed and left the office.
