Later that day at dinner, Apple and Raven were sitting next to each other in the castleteria while looking around at the other students to see how many had a second face.
"Okay, I'm so glad I'm changing my destiny," whispered Apple while glancing at Daring who was chatting some girls up at a far off table.
"Yeah, otherwise you would be marrying my former brother," said Raven as they got a glimpse of the face of Zeus before it returned to Daring's.
"Zeus always creeped me out, the number of times he tried to hit on me made me want to choke him to death with one of my vines," said Apple.
"Okay, why are you eating with Raven Queen, Apple?" asked Briar who had just walked up to the table.
"What, I can't eat with my roommate and new friend?" asked Apple.
"But you two aren't meant to be friends, this is going against your destiny," said Briar. For a second, her face changed for the two of them.
"Huh, so Briar's Hypnos," thought the two.
"Look, I've never even wanted my destiny, and now that I'm here, I'm going to follow my own path," said Apple, making everyone stare at their table with shock.
"Excuse me," said Cupid as she approached Raven and Apple.
"I'm C.A. Cupid, now may not be a good time, but I need to talk with the two of you for a second when you have the time," said Cupid.
"Let's talk in our room, we were finished with our dinner anyway," said Raven as she and Apple stood up from their table. The three then left while the whole castleteria was watching.
"What the hex just happened?" asked Cerise. Her face changed to that of Sancus, God of Loyalty, for a second.
"I don't know, but something tells me that something crazy is going to happen soon," said Kitty whose other face was that of Aite, Goddess of Mischief.
