My Akigure Week contribution for the prompt : Dog.

Dog
Shigure sighed and looked behind him. Since he left school, this dog was following him. It was also part of his curse, he thought resigned. It was not the first time that a dog had followed him, sometimes there were several, which earned him the curious gaze of passers-by. But this dog would not leave him alone.
Shigure arrived at the Soma main estate, still followed by the dog. He told himself that he was going to feed him and after a while he would be gone. This was usually what happened. He went further into the gardens and he saw Akito. She was having fun bouncing a ball. Shigure approached. Akito heard him and looked at him.
'Shigure, come play with me.'
He smiled. He could never refuse her anything.
'I will be delighted. But first, I have to feed my new friend.'
He pointed at the dog who was sitting behind him. Akito dropped her ball, losing interest in her toy, and approached the animal.
'How beautiful !' She exclaimed.
She stroked him and the dog licked her cheek and wagging its tail. Akito burst out laughing.
'He makes me think of you Shigure,' she said happily.
Shigure wondered where this idea came from. Other than the black coat, he did not look like this dog at all.
'Can I play with him ?'
Shigure nodded. If he could hear her laugh and see her happy, he was ready to accept whatever she asked. They played in the garden, until the dog decided to leave.
