Chapter 4

"I shall be staying here for a while. For there isn't any need for me at the moment in the Grand Line and if anyone questions me. I shall tell them I am here to keep an eye on a Yanko." Said Mihawk with a ghost of a smirk on his lips.

Shanks who is now sitting beside him just pouts. "Jeeze you and your big mouth. I was just trying to have a little vacation and fun always from all those other three old fools before returning back to the New World to check on all my territories." He said crossing his arms over his chest with a huff.

Luffy looks up at her Uncle. "Are you sure he isn't a child trapped in an adult body?" She question Mihawk with a playful grin on her face.

"I do agree with our little sister." Said Sabo with a grin as Ace nods his head to this.

"I have question that myself several times. But who his Captain was. This is what to be expected." Said Mihawk looking at Shanks who is now grinning at the golden eye man sitting next to him.

"Whatever. I just can't wait to train with our new Uncle." Cheers Luffy as the boys grin. But Sabo turns to look at Shanks. "What was your old Captain?" He question looking at the man. Granted they have heard stories about a man who was a dreamer and a free spirit but never had Shanks had told them who his Captain was.

Shanks grins looking at all three kids sitting before him. "My Captain was the First Pirate King Gol D. Rogers." He said with pride in his voice.

Sabo froze looking over to his brother as Luffy return to the couch with a white and black vein dragon fruit in her hand as she took a bite, she looked at Ace with worry. Ace's reaction didn't go unnoticed by Shanks and Mihawk, but they didn't notice Luffy eating something she shouldn't.

"What's wrong Ace?" Question Shanks with one of his goofy smiles.

Ace frown as he balls his hands into fist. "I have a question for you two." He said looking up at Shanks and Mihawk.

"Alright what would that be?" Question Mihawk as he has a feeling what the boy would be asking him.

"Would you say if the Pirate King Gol D. Rogers had a son?" Question Ace looking up at the two men with worry, fear, and anger in his eye.

"If my Captain had a son. I would hunt this world to find him and take him in. Tell him about his father and for him to meet the members of the crew that are still alive. For Roger was a good man but he was also a man not to anger for once you unleash his wrath on someone. Well let's just say you don't want to be on the receiving end of that wrath. But other then that he was a good hearted fun loving man. If you don't believe me ask old Hawky here who has met my Captain a few times." Said Shanks with a large grin on his face.

Mihawk nods his head. "Roger was pretty much like this fool you see before you. He always wants to have a good time. A go on adventurers with his crew who he saw as his family as Shanks and Buggy where known as his sons when they got into trouble and Silvers was their mother in keeping them in line." He said with a smirk as Shanks is sitting across from him pouting.

"So you wouldn't curse the life of the child of the Pirate King?" Question Ace.

"No Ace. For I had a feeling when I first saw you. You have your mother's freckles and smile as you have your fathers eyes and temper. But I think the temper came more from your mom as she whipped my ass a few time for being a little shit." Said Shanks with laughter.

Ace blinking as tears began to stream down his cheeks. Shanks pulls him into a hug. "It's alright. Let it all out." He told the boy in his arms as he began crying his heart out. Letting everything that has been building up in his short little life.

"Yuk!" Said Luffy with a frown on her face as she looks down at the fruit, she has eaten half of already.

All eyes snap up and look at the raven hair girl with wide eyes as they see what she is eating.

Mihawk narrows his eyes. "Lufia what did you just take a bit out of and where did you get it?" He question her with a dark aura surround him as his golden eyes rest on one man and one man alone.

Luffy smiles looking up at her Uncle. "I found it on the counter in a small treasure chest. Once I open the chest this fruit was inside of it. I was feeling hungry, so I took it to eat." She told him grinning.

Mihawk's golden eyes move over to the silver eye man whose jaw now hung dropped to the floor. "LUCKY ROO! WHY WHERE YOU NOT WATCHING THE CHEST?" He cries out as Ace looks up at him with laughter.

"That would not stop Lu. She can open anything when it comes to food." Ace said between laughter as Sabo nods his head. "Yeah, we have even tried locking the refrigerator once. When we got up. It was ripped open, and Lu sat in front of it eating a ham sandwich." Said Sabo between laughter.

"What devil fruit did she eat?" Question Mihawk as he looks ready to slice the man into pieces.

Shanks sweat drops. "She ate a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit known as the Inu Inu no mi: Class Amarok. A giant chaos storm wolf. It is a lone hunter and is larger than a dire wolf. That last sighting of this Devil Fruit user to have this one. The wolf is snow white with black markings. As well they have powers over the weather. That user would summon blizzards when he went into battle so he could hide within the snow as he fought against other Devil Fruit users. As a Zoan user now Lufia you are going to be a lot stronger and faster." He said with a sigh. He has lost a large bounty for that fruit. But oh well it is what is it is. He thought to himself.

"COOL!" Yelled Luffy with a massive grin on her face.

Shanks put's his hat on her head. "Well Future Pirate King here is your crown. But I do want it back once you become King." He tells her with a massive grin on his face.

She grins up at him with the strawhat on top of her head. "Thanks Shanks." She tells him grinning.

"I could have gotten you something better Lufia. You might want to return that ratty smelly thing back to Shanks and I'll buy you something better." Said Mihawk with a smirk on his face as he looks at Shanks who is now sulking in the corner drawing little circles with his right hand finger.

"Nah, I like this old ratty old hat. But you could get me some new clothing for training as what I am wearing now doesn't hold up very well. Maybe even for my brothers as well?" Question Lufia with huge puppy dog eyes.

Mihawk chuckles. "Fine. It would be wise. As sandals are not suitable for sword fighting." He tells her as he looks at her feet and over at Shanks.

"Hey! I like sandals and I still can kick your ass while wearing them." Whine Shanks who had join back with everyone.

Nine Months Later

Mihawk watches the three kids fighting each other with their swords. "Excellent. Now Sabo, Ace you to go against Lufia." He orders.

"Alright." Calls the two boys as one as they spin around and use their dual swords against their sister's single sword. But Luffy grins as she pulls out a dagger from her hip and uses it to block Sabo's attack as she uses her long sword to blocks Aces attack.

This is the sight that Garp walks into as he could hear Lufia yelling as she pushes both boys back as snow sweep around her body. As she freezes Ace in place as what looks like blue flames surround her sword and dagger as she does a cross slash at Sabo as the blonde hair boy jumps out of the way.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?" Demands Garp as he is now face to face with Mihawk.

Mihawk looks at the Marine Hero with a bored look in his eyes as he looks back over at the kids. "Alright you three take a break and Lufia unfreeze your brother." He calls as his head turns to look at the old Marine before him. "I am training them. Something that you are not doing." He told Garp.

Garp's jaw falls to the ground. "WHAT!? WHAT THE HELL BRAT?" Growls Garp. "I do train them." He growls out in grit teeth.

Mihawk arches a brow looking at the man before him. "Throwing them into the forest to fight against wild fighting apes of this island isn't training. It's for your twisted amusement." He tells Garp matching the old man's glare with his golden eyes appearing like golden pools of fire flickering ready to surround the man as he doesn't back down.

"I do not do it for my own amusement. I do it to show them all that life will not be fair to them while out in this cold world of ours." Said Garp with anger still in his tone.

"Then why not also work on sharpening their mind along with their body?" Question Mihawk as he didn't back down from the older man before him.

"For am I not one for books. That is more Sen Goku and others. I am just the bronze they use to carry out their plans." Said Garp with a sigh.

Mihawk let out a sigh. "I figure much." He said as he pinches the bridge of his nose letting out another sigh.

Mihawk opens his eyes as he hears Garp let out a booming laugh. "Well if you are here. Than you are able to sharpen their mind. Like the swords you have them training with." He said laughing but freezes up. "By the way Mihawk. What are you doing here?" He question looking confuse at the Warlord standing before him.

"I came here to keep an eye on Shanks as he has been having fun in the East Blues and as my statues. It would be wise to have someone here in equal in his power to be around. As well I have learn that Lufia is the daughter of my little sister whose gone missing." Mihawk told Garp.

Garp's eyes widen. "Really? She is the daughter of the Dracule D. Kana for your eldest sister died several years before Lufia was born. As well I remember you sister's eyes as she passed those to Lufia." He said with a sad smile on his face.

"That she does." Said Mihawk with a frown.

"I will not have no paperwork about you training the children nor will there be anything tracing her back to you if you wish." Said Garp with another sigh.

"That would be wise until Lufia is ready to let the world know about her birthright." Said Mihawk. "For I do not wish for my father to hunt her down and make her life miserable as well. For I do not want to answer to my baby sister. As she does have skills like my own with a sword." He tells Garp with a slight chuckle.

"Then tell me what the children need for their training." Said Garp with a grin on his face.

"Better training equipment and clothing. As I can only get so much for them. I want to do more weight training with them as well as teach them the six powers. But I would need you for that." Said Mihawk looking at Garp. "As I have been training them with Haki. Ace does pretty will with his King's Haki, but I do not have that Haki myself. But he is getting stronger with his Armament Haki and Observation Haki. Sabo has master Observation Haki and is working on Armament Haki. But he doesn't have the King's Haki. Now Lufia has master her Kings Haki and is able to use it with Armament Haki while fighting. But she still needs to build her skills with Observation Haki." He told Garp whose jaw is hanging open with shock.

"I and my son have King's Haki and I am fairly sure you do as well Mihawk. But you haven't noticed it while in battle." Said Garp looking at him with a playful twinkle in his eyes.

Mihawk just nods his head and ignores the man. As he doesn't feel like dealing with Garp.

"I will be here for two months as I am on vacation and I will teach the kids the six powers." Said Garp grinning at Mihawk.

"Very well. We can begin their training in the morning." Said Mihawk as he saw the kids run off.

"It appears they are going to take down Blue Jam today." Said Mihawk as he looks over at Garp who narrows his eyes.

"Then we shall follow them and only step in when they need us." Said Garp with a murderous grin on his face. Mihawk just nods his head to this.

North Blue

A woman with long black raven looks sits on a small ship as she is sailing towards away from an island and on her small ship lays a boy with a white bolar bear sleeping.

She looks up towards the heavens. "May the Gods guide and hide me from those who seek me and protect these small boys from the horror that will follow him through his life." She says sightly.

Mount Olympus

Hera's head snaps up at hearing a faint prey. Xena whose is standing with her as they been talking stops and looks to her mother-in-law.

"What is wrong?" Questions Xena feeling a little uneasy.

Hera's green eyes look to her. "I hear a prey from a descendant. I believe Lufia's mother knows more than she lets on." She tells Xena.

Xena nods her head. "She must for her to be able to hide from us and the entire world." She tells the woman standing next to her.

"Hmm…" Hums Hera as she just nods her head looking down to the world that has changed since the days of old.
