"Okay, that should do it," Katie handed Annabeth's phone back to her with a toothy grin. Annabeth looked at her phone and sighed, but there was a bit of releif in it.
"Did you really have to do that?" Annabeth asked. Though she was thankful that the strangers on the other side of the screen would finally shut up.
"Its completely necessary," Silena ensured. "Now, lets get back to the meeting."
The 'meeting' consisted of a few select students of the student council.. Clarrise LaRue, Silena Beaugard, Will Solace, Michael Yew, Beckendorf, the Stoll brothers, Sherman Yang, Lou Ellen and a few more. Annabeth of course, was the president. The student council meeting room was decorated with shelves stacked with textbooks and random pictures. At the back of the room, there was a corkboard that had random sheets of paper strung up with a few drawings of Annabeth's building sketches. A ping pong table was placed in the back. One long mahogany wood table sat in the middle of it all, where everyone sat. Despite the student council being so professional, the room did not radite those kind of vibes.
The disscusion was currently focused on the schools club activities. Though there was one problem that Travis Stoll brought up.
"Annabeth, could you tell Katie to get her stupid plants out of my club room? It smells like flowers and shit now!" He complained and gave a glare to Katie. She huffed and glared back. Forget about the student council being so 'Professional'.
"You're overreacting! I've only had them in there for one day, and it'll be moved out by next week!" She spat back at the brown haired boy.
"Next week!? I have some very important buisness to do in there, and-" Annabeth cut him off with a shush.
You see, Travis and Connor Stolll were the leaders of the photography club. Katie was the head of the Gardener club, and she had to move her plants temporarily. Every spring a different array of flowers were planted in front of the school. Due to a scheduling problem, the place where they would be planted had to be prepared and well... postponed. And since the photography club was quite near the front of the school, it made sense to put them there. The room had big windows perfect for the sun and wind.
"Its only temporary!" Katie scowled.
Annabeth spoke up, clearing her throat. "She's right, Travis. It'll only be a few days. Is there some kind of problem that you can't wait?"
"No. Well, actually- no."
"Then its not a problem. Travis, please just listen to her."
He grumbled. "Fine."
"Great! Now, both of you apologize."
They gave her a look like 'What? Are you out of your damn mind?'
Hesitantly, the two looked at each other. They snarled and very slowly said their apologies, neither of them wanting to say it first. It was Katie who was brave enough to to it first.
"S-sorry."
"Yeah, sorry."
The meeting went on for about thirty more minutes. In that time span, it was much more calmer without the tension between Travis and Katie. A few more disscusions were brought up, as well as the plans for Camp Half Blood. Though nothing bad was talked about.
"I think that's it!" Annabeth clapped her two hands together and started to pack up her belongings. The rest followed suit, them leaving before her. She had to lock up anyways. Silena and Beckendorf left first, walking out of the room together. Then Clarisse, and surprisingly, Katie and Travis.
Annabeth took one last look at the empty room before her. Not one thing was out of place, just like it always was. She locked the door and shouldered her bag, filled with books and paper. The hallways echoed with every footstep, and it was eerily strange. Earlier that day, she had opted to walk to school. Annabeth was definitely regreting that desicion now. Her legs hurt. Her head was sore and her back was aching like it was 87 years old.
Thank the lord that her house wasn't too far away.

also, if you see any typos pls ignore them. i write chapters at very ungodly hours. I'll try to edit them later. (Hopefully) and uh... wow, i haven't updated anything in a WHILE. dam. I need to get my act together. One more thing, since this chapter was really short i'll make next one longer. (Hopefully x2)
