Jubal and Maggie had gone through the file several times making sure that Maggie knew everything that was needed to know before going undercover. Jubal had questioned her on a number of different and random things to make sure that she could remember them. They hit a point where they knew there was no point going over it anymore, that was when they had decided to head to bed. Maggie had changed in to Jubal's t-shirt and came out of their bathroom climbing in to bed beside him.

Jubal wrapped his arms around Maggie kissing her head "Your phone has been beeping a lot baby."

Maggie snuggled in to Jubal hiding her face in his neck as she ran her fingertips along his chest and stomach slowly "It's OA, Kristen, my sister and your sister but I want to spend the rest of this time just you and me." Maggie reached over lifting her phone turning it on to silent.

"They are all going to miss you baby and just want to remind you of that." Jubal was running his fingers through Maggie's hair slowly and down her back slowly.

"My sister and Jen should know that I'm spending every minute I possibly can with you." Maggie was placing small kisses to Jubal's neck as her fingertips were still running along his chest and stomach.

"Oh baby you aren't going to be getting any complaints from me, I'm happy to deal with whatever they throw my way for keeping you all to myself." Jubal slid down the bed a little further as he kissed Maggie's head. "C'mere baby…"

Maggie smiled hearing Jubal and she moved her head to his shoulder as she looked up at her favourite hazel eyes. Jubal didn't waste anytime as he leaned down closing the distance between them as he kissed Maggie slowly but with so much love and passion sliding his hand under the T-shirt she was wearing as he pulled her even closer to him. They both wanted to remind each other of just how much they truly loved each other.

It seemed like Maggie and Jubal really couldn't enough of each other, when they thought they'd had enough they both went back for more. They knew it could be a while before they got time like this together again so they really were making the most of it. Jubal had fallen in to a light sleep but Maggie just couldn't get her brain to stop enough to let her sleep. She lay watching Jubal, he looked so peaceful when he was asleep, she reached her hand out running her fingertips along his cheek gently being careful not to waken him.

She was convinced that something had to be seriously wrong with her to be leaving this man alone in their bed for an unknown amount of time. Maggie knew that the assignment she was about to begin was important and before her and Jubal took this leap she wouldn't have had to even think twice about taking this assignment, but things were different now. She was living with the man that she loved, she loved his two adorable kids and had enjoyed every minute that they had been spending with them lately especially when they would come to stay with Maggie and Jubal.

Maggie smiled softly as she lay watching Jubal, she really was madly and completely in love with this man. She knew he still had no idea how much she truly loved him because to him he couldn't believe that someone like Maggie loved him as much as he loved her. Whatever they were faced with on this assignment he was a very large reason to return home safely, she wanted a life with Jubal. There was so much she wanted to do with him.

Maggie lifted her phone and replied to her messages from Mel, Jen, OA and Kristen, she thanked them all for their concern and that she would return home safe. She told Mel she loved her and to check in with Jubal whenever she wanted or needed and she asked Jen if she would keep an eye on Jubal for her especially for the first couple of weeks as she settled in to the assignment. Maggie had just put her phone down when she knew she had to waken Jubal as they had to go soon.

Maggie closed the distance between her and Jubal as she kissed him softly cupping his cheek with her hand. "Jubal, honey it's time to get up." Maggie spoke softly as she kissed Jubal's cheeks, forehead, nose and chin.

Jubal smiled at all the kisses from Maggie before finally catching her lips in a proper kiss as he pulled her as close to him as possible. "You know a guy could definitely get used to being woke up like this." It hit Jubal that he wasn't going to be waking up next to Maggie for a while but he had to be strong right now for her. "I'm going to miss having you in this bed beside me baby, it really won't be the same without you."

"I'm going to miss it too babe so much, I don't know if I can sleep without you by my side" Maggie whispered against Jubal's lips as she kissed him again slowly. "We really have to get up babe…"

"Just a few more minutes baby" Jubal smiled as he quickly changed their positions and moved them so that Maggie was laying on her back under him which caused her to chuckle softly, Jubal lay over her watching her and he brushed her hair from her face just taking in how beautiful she really was before he leaned down and kissed her passionately.

Those few minutes turned in to much longer as they really couldn't and didn't want to stop, they wanted to be as close as possible one last time before having to being separated. They had finally gotten out of bed and showered and dressed, Maggie had finished packing her bag as she was going to be moving in to a small temporary apartment that they had gotten her. Maggie was checking one final time that she had everything that she was going to need with her, Jubal did one final check as well. Jubal lay his shoulder against their doorframe looking at Maggie.

"You going to keep on your chain baby?."

Maggie's hand instantly went to the chain that she was wearing, the one that Jubal had gotten her for Christmas with the engraving 'Every step I have taken was to bring me closer to you' on the back. She smiled hearing Jubal nodding.

"I am babe, I can hide it under the tops that I have with me. I want to keep a part of you with me at all times."

Jubal came over to Maggie and wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her close to him. "Just like I'll have a part of you with me baby while wearing my watch. It's going to be so weird not having you in the JOC at all today. I can't remember the last time that has happened."

Maggie ran her hand along Jubal's arm to the back of his neck as she gently pulled him down for a kiss "You have the photos of us on your phone babe, take some time and look at them when you start to struggle okay?"

Jubal nodded hearing Maggie "I will baby, you know that I love those photos of us together."

"Just don't be staring at them when the team is around in case you get caught" she smirked playfully, her forehead lay against Jubal's lightly. She knew neither of them wanted to move as they knew that it was time to go.

Jubal closed the distance stealing one more kiss from Maggie before reluctantly pulling back "Okay baby it's time for us to go to your new apartment building. I'm going to be briefly meeting Agent Nestor Vertiz, since he is going to technically be your partner in there."

Maggie lifted the bag that she had "Let's go babe, hopefully the time on this assignment will go by really quickly and I'll be coming home for good really soon."

Jubal drove them to the address of Maggie's temporary new apartment, when he parked he leaned over kissing Maggie deeply with so much love "I love you so much Maggie, don't forget that at any time. If you need me I will only be a text or a call away, you have a family waiting for you to come home to them baby. We are all going to miss you like crazy, no one more than me. I will be keeping our bed warm for your return."

"I love you too Jubal so much, you know that I am going to do everything possible to make sure that I come home to you safely. There is so much that we still haven't got to do yet together and you aren't getting rid me of anytime soon Mr Valentine." Maggie smiled as she kissed Jubal, really focusing on the way it felt when their lips met, his teeth lightly nipping at her lip before running his tongue along her lip and past her lips to meet her tongue. She wanted to be able to remember the way it felt to kiss him when she was missing him. She broke the kiss laying her forehead against Jubal's caressing his cheek, trying to get her breathing back to normal as she had been breathing a lot heavier after that kiss.

"Promise me again that you will reach out to Jen if things get too much at any time?" She whispered against his lips.

"Maggie, baby I promise you that if things get to be too much I will lift the phone to Jenny I will even stay with her if I need to. I'll be okay baby, I'll be worried about you and missing you so much."

Maggie was about to reply to Jubal when she saw someone walking towards the car, they had been given a picture of Nestor in the file so she recognised him straight away.

"Here come's Nestor."

Nestor came over to the SUV and climbed in to the back seat and moved in to the middle of the seat so that he could see Maggie and Jubal. "Hey, I'm Nestor, I'm going to be the one you are working with Maggie. So you must be Jubal. So we are going to go inside and get you settled Maggie, then I will be bringing you to meet the others for lunch. Jubal I'm afraid this is as far as you go, we can't be too careful and it may be a while before Maggie can check in with you. They will be watching her closely while she settles in with the girls. They will be watching me just as closely as I'm the one bringing her in. So don't panic if you don't hear from her for a while but don't worry I'll take good care of her." Nestor looked over Maggie, almost checking her out and then smirked looking at Jubal.

Jubal wasn't sure if he was reading too much in it but he didn't like the way that Nestor was being about Maggie, the way that he looked at her and the smirk, maybe it was just how Nestor was. Maggie looked from Jubal to Nestor

"Can you give us a minute I'll meet you at the door to the apartment building?"

Nestor nodded patting Jubal's shoulder "Don't keep her too long" he slid out of the car and walked over towards the door.

"I'm not sure that I really like or trust this guy Mags"

Maggie reached over caressing Jubal's cheek "I promise I'll be careful baby, I know that I don't have you or OA here with me so I'll be extra careful, but he is right. It could be a while before I can do my first check in, they are going to be watching every move that I make to make sure that I can be trusted with the girls."

Maggie leaned over kissing Jubal one last time before having to reluctantly pull back "I love you so much Jubal Valentine."

"I love you too Maggie Bell more than you know."

Maggie lifted her bag and climbed out of the car, she looked back at Jubal one last time before closing the door and walking towards the door to the apartment building. She turned around to look at Jubal one last time before heading inside the apartment building. Jubal waited until Maggie disappeared inside the building before he left heading to 26 Fed.
