- Squad three report, Severide answer - the agitated boss began frantically calling his men in search of updates.
He hoped they were all well and that no one was hurt, or worse.
Shortly after through the smoke here comes out of the main entrance Capp and Tony with several victims. They were in pain, covered in scratches from the explosion, but otherwise they were fine.
After them there is Cruz with a child in her arms and two women following him.
He was fine too.
He was about to breathe a sigh of relief, he believed that Severide was right behind him.
Firefighters always move in pairs, never alone so it was logical that they were together.
Unfortunately, however, after Cruz no one left the apartment.
- Cruz where is Kelly? Stella asked worried, not seeing him go out.
- He was behind me, I was ahead and leading the victims to the exit and he was behind them. he replied, also considerably worried.
- Commander I'm going to find Severide - Casey said and even before the boss could open his mouth or do anything to stop him he was already inside followed by Stella and Cruz.
- Captain, I'm coming with you - she said
- Me too,- Joe added.
Others were leaving to help their colleague but the boss stopped there.
- Nobody enters anymore. -
There wasn't much they could do but pray and hope that the boys who entered would soon find Severide and that he was okay.
Meanwhile the fire engine 51 had obtained the ok from the boss and was starting to shoot water towards the building to put out the flames.
