Note: thank you all so so much for the support you have shown this story. It means so much to me that there has been such interest and such a positive reaction to this. For those of you desperately seeking Bella getting all the love and hugs our vamp duo cam give don't worry, she will... eventually. This fic is about healing anymore so don't stress, there's no angstyness and no raging new-born armies, it's going to be an au story because I think such a topic as sexual abuse, coercion, abuse of power and rape deserve our full conversational spotlight. The resulting trauma from being the survivor of such topics is not nearly explored enough and I hope I do it justice as I write this fic.

A small request from me to you all, my readers, in my last update of this story I left useful links in the notes. If anyone has anymore useful links, websites or numbers relating to issues explored in this story please please email me them at particularly those of you who read my work from a country I haven't posted any useful links for. I really want to ensure no one is left struggling alone and that any of my readers know they can seek help no matter where in the world you are from.

As is the nature of this fic, this chapter also comes with a major trigger warning for rape, rape of a child, sexual coercion and abuse, if this is something that is harmful to read about to you, do not read. Do not push yourself to read something that could do you harm because all you beauties are worth the world and more, the very last thing I want to do is have anyone struggling because they have read this.

I am so thankful for all my readers and reviewers. You guys are incredible. Stay safe

All my love Nell xoxo

"So tell us Isabella, what did the Cullens want? Did they come to recruit you into their merry band of misfits?" The whiny voice of Jessica Stanley asked for the tenth time that day.

Isabella should have known better than to hope for a better day despite the small glimmer of peace meeting Emmett and Rosalie had given her. Her interaction with the two unnaturally beautiful people in the school parking lot had filled her for a few brief moments with a sense of calm and hope, something she hadn't felt in a long time.

Though that had quickly vanished when it girl one and two had started rapid fire questions regarding her interaction with the Cullen's. She should have known her brief conversation with Rosalie and Emmett hadn't gone unnoticed by the schools rumour mill. Jessica and Lauren had barely given her any peace at all throughout the school day. Bombarding her with question after question and Bella had tried desperately to ignore them.

Now sitting in her last class of the day she could feel herself growing angrier by the second at the two girls incessant interrogation because apparently they were incapable of picking up Bella's many cues that she wasn't about to answer them and wanted to be left alone.

A sudden jolt to her shoulder had Isabella tensing automatically in fear. Lauren's voice snapping the last vestige of control the brunette had as the blonde bully demanded an explanation of why Bella felt she could ignore her.

"Because it is none of your damn business Lauren. The conversations I have with others is nothing to do with any of you now back off!!!" She snapped, standing from her seat and making her way out of the classroom quickly. Not even sparing her teacher a second glance as she near enough ran from the room, knowing fine well she was in serious danger of experiencing yet another anxiety attack.

Once in the hall she dashed to the nearest bathroom, locking herself in the furthest stall from the door and pressing her back up against the locked door. Hands braced on her knees as she tried to fight the burning panic that was swimming through her veins.

She could feel the all too familiar feeling of his hands beginning to cloy at her skin, her heart rate accelerating and her vision swimming as she blinked furiously, trying to hold back the tears she knew were soon to fall.

She hated this, hated feeling so powerless when it came to fighting her own mind just as she had been powerless to fight him. The man she had adored as a young girl, the man she had looked up to, believing he would always protect her from harm. Her anxiety blindsiding her yet again just as his first attack had blindsided her.

Her mind forcing her to relive the moments she had what remained of her childhood innocence ripped from her by the monster she had called brother. She could hear his voice again.

"Oh Isabella if only you could see the joy you bring me, how enticing you are as you cry those pretty years for me" he whispered in her ear as he held her trapped face down over the dinning room table, his hand fitting her hair as he pulled her head back so he could see the agony etched on her young face.

"You look so gorgeous like this Isabella" he continued looking at her expectantly. His face contortions in anger as she struggled to turn away from him, desperate not to be forced to look at him as he yet again took what he wanted from her.

"Isabella" he had warned and she couldn't do anything but stop fighting, knowing it was futile to even try.

"Bella" he... Bella? No that wasn't him, he never called her that.

"Bella" she heard again, her brain flailing to understand where her proffered name was coming from all of a sudden, effectively cutting through the worst of her panic as her brain tried to process the change in name.

"Bella, it's Rosalie, please let me in" Rosalie... Bella gasped, her brain kick starting as gold eyes, blonde locks and a beautiful face flashed in her mind. Her body suddenly remembering it had to breathe.

"Please Bella, I only want to see you're alright, you're safe with me" the honeyed voice of the goddess like woman soothed, pleading and gentle. Helping Bella focus enough to pull herself up from her slumped position against the door as she turned to unlock it. Not knowing why but suddenly craving to eradicate the barrier between herself and Rosalie, knowing without reason that the blondes words were truth. She was safe, or would be when she got that door open. When Rosalie was closer and subconsciously she knew she wasn't thinking all to rational, because how could she believe that she was safe with the woman she had only had one brief conversation with, how could she be so sure? But the remnants of her flashback and the feel of invisible insects making g her skin crawl meant that she couldn't focus nearly enough on the rational part of her brain.

Once the door opened Bella couldn't stop the sob from bubbling up and spilling forth in the space between them as her eyes locked with concerned gold eyes, the blonde's face one of anguish and worry as she scrutinised her from the beauties position mere centimetres in front of her.

"Oh Bella" Rosalie whispered, extending her arms out in offering as her voice wavered with the intensity of her emotions and nothing in the world could have stopped the human girl from crumpling forth into the blondes arms as she gripped the taller girl tightly. So tightly Rosalie feared her little mate would disintegrate if she weren't held tightly.

"Its alright, I've got you darling. You're safe now, it's all over" Isabella felt the blondes cool breath tickle her ear as she whispered reassurances, though she couldn't offer the other girl much in the way of a response. Her tears falling harder as she buried her face against the unusually cool skin of the blondes neck, as an arm wrapped round her waist held her close and a soothing hand stroked gentle circles on her back just underneath her t-shirt. The skin to skin contact doing wonders to help her calm.

Sometime later Bella finally felt her control seep back I to her body, increment by increment, though how long they had stood here, Rosalie simply holding her while she cried for all that he took from her, for all she had lost and all the pain she had endured because of him, Bella couldn't tell.

Eventually though, the last of her tears stopped falling, her breathing having returned to normal and her body suddenly feeling more than exhausted but more relaxed than she had felt since the day he had stolen her innocence.

"Thank you" she whispered, looking down as she pulled away. Hesitant to meet the blondes eyes for fear of the judgement that may be in them that she was so used to seeing on the faces of all those who had found out anything of what she had been through.

"Hey" The blonde chastised softly, grasping her chin gently and guiding her eyes up to meet soft, loving eyes. "You don't have to thank me Bella, I'll be there whenever you need me, I promise" Rosalie reassured, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead and Bella couldn't deny how utterly safe the intimate gesture felt.

"Would you like to talk about what happened?" the blonde asked softly and Bella could tell there wasn't any pressure for her to answer so she simply shook her head in the negative, hoping it was enough of a response for the taller girl.

"Okay, the bell for end of day is about to ring, do you still want to hang or would you prefer to go home?" Her question was posed just as delicately as the previous one had been and Bella smiled softly.

"I'm still up for hanging if that's still alright with you" she replied quietly, her smile widening when Rosalie beamed at her.

"I'm so glad" the blonde replied, the warmth in her tone echoing the warmth in her eyes.

Rosalie helped Bella out to her truck, making sure to keep her arm around her human, knowing that the bond between them would mean that Bella would feel safe and comforted the closer the brunette was to her. Though in all honesty she wasn't in all too much of a hurry to lose the contact between them herself. Her inner beast taking comfort from the girls proximity, knowing that she was now calm and no longer in such a state.

The moment Alice had informed her and Emmett during last period that their mate was in the bathroom distraught both vampires had been on edge, their beasts rattling their cages as they demanded they destroy all who had harmed their girl.

"Rose, Em, Bella's in the math corridor bathroom visibly upset" the pixie like vampire had whispered from across the hall. Their 5to pass between them even from separate sides of the building.

"Anxiety attack" Edward had added having seen the vision their pixie sister had seen of the brunette and neither Rosalie or Emmett had stuck around much longer, barely managing to exit their classrooms at a human pace in their haste to reach their mate.

"Poor girl" Victoria had whispered sympathetically, knowing that the girl must have seen some horrors to be left dealing with such hurt. Rosalie had admittedly not focused all to much on their red headed sisters words as she met up with Emmett.

"I can't go in" Emmett had gritted out through clenched teeth, almost hissing in his anger at knowing his presence would not help their mate in the slightest right now. "It has to be you".

Rosalie had barely been able to spare him a comforting, understanding smile as she moved towards the bathroom.

Once she had managed to get Isabella to come out of the stall she had locked herself in Rosalie could no longer contain her need to hold her mate at the sight 9f red rimmed, puffy eyes, tear streaked cheeks and erratic breathing, pulling the girl in tightly as she worked to soothe her.

"Its alright Em, I've got her" she had whispered under her breath in reassurance once she felt Bella start to relax, she was surprised he had been able to hold himself back thus far from barging in to see for himself that their mare was safe and she felt a swell of pride for her usually childlike mate at just how much control he had when it mattered most.

"Thank you" he whispered back from the corridor where he stood, guarding the door to stop anyone entering. So much gratitude present in his tone that Rosalie was certain she would cry if she actually could.

Focusing her attention on her mate and resolutely ignoring how God awful the engine of her mates poor choice in vehicle sounded even as the grinding and chuffing of the mechanics grated at her sensitive ears. She wouldn't mention it though, for now at least. Her mate loved the rusty scrap of metal as if it were a cherished her loom rather than a 1963 Chevy Stepside - C that had clearly seen better days. It was practically scrap metal on wheels at this point in comparison to all the extremely gorgeous cars Rosalie could buy for her mate. Cars that were newer and prettier and much much safer for the brunette to drive. That was a battle for a much later date she knew. It was better to let Bella enjoy the thing while it still functioned in its intended role. Rosalie just might have to accidently (on purpose) break the darn thing subtly in the middle of the night at some point.

The blonde hid her smirk at the thought knowing fine well she couldn't very well admit such a thing out loud especially not to their mate, she didn't want to risk anything throwing a wedge in their relationship, their bond being so new and fragile as it was.

"Wow" her mates voice was full if amazement as they finally pulled to a stop in the Cullen driveway. The humans face awash with awe and her eyes sparkling in excitement. If Rosalie needed to breathe she knew the sight of her mate in such a way would have stolen her ability to draw breath.

"It's pretty cool isn't it? Our mother Esme is a home designer and an architect. She designed and helped build our home" Rosalie replied, smiling softly at Bella as the human nodded mutely, her eyes never straying from the very modern looking, mansion sized cabin in front of her. "Come see inside I know my mother is dying to meet you Bella and Emmett with be growing impatient" Rosalie chuckled, opening her mates door fir her and offering her a hand which the brunette took, to Rosalie's satisfaction, without hesitation.

As they trudged up the wooden steps towards the front door it swung open, revealing a rather playful looking Emmett, tapping his foot as if to indicate he had been waiting for them.

"Welcome to our home Bells" he beamed and the blonde couldn't help the way her heart simply melted at the sight of Emmett's clear adoration for their human.

"Hey" Bella murmured quietly, seeming a little shy and overwhelmed but soon relaxing as the vampire unclaimed her hand and wrapped it around her waist, pulling her in closer.

"Its alright, I promise, you'll always be safe her Bella" Rosalie whispered tenderly and Bella, for the first time since James truly believed the blonde. She felt safe here, some internal part of her brain screaming that this blonde goddess and the adorably handsome Emmett really were her safety and she would do anything in her power not to lose that feeling, ever again.
