Trooper's Guide Through Life: Chapter Four- "Operation: Lock-down"
Pride Trooper's Headquarters, Jiren's Room (Two Days Later)
Jiren is in his room, getting ready for the next day. He has his night clothes on, consisting of a white tank top, gray sweatpants, and white socks. He sits in his bed in a meditative state, going through his evening meditation. Meanwhile, the rest of the elite Pride Troopers are ready for their night. Everyone is in their room, getting ready for a soothing night. Just outside of the headquarters, a group of men, wearing all black clothes are watching each and every window go off their lights. "Get the scissors. We're blacking everyone in this building." said one of the men, as the other pulls out a big pair of scissors out of his back. They walk to the headquarters, probably finding the electrical storage. Back in Jiren's room, he's done with his meditative moment. Before he goes to sleep-sleep, he opens his journal for his evening logs. He grabs a pen, writes down the date of what today is, and starts recapping of what's he been doing over the past few hours. "Log #200, everything has been normal, from what I can tell. I would like to describe the madness that happened at the mission on Planet Decaf, but that's for another time, I guess. The members were having a good time with each other, except for me. I never got the chance to talk to anyone from the group, except for Top. He's the only one that talks to me about my day. Maybe one moment would make things a bit more exciting for me. The mall mission was a first step in what would my life would be like with the rest of the Pride Troopers. Perhaps, there is a way for me to be in a situation, where I can be of good use and MAYBE...I can get to know some of the Pride Troopers more. I just don't know which one to choose from, besides Top." said Jiren, as he hears his communicator ring. He drops his pen on the dresser, grabs his communicator, and answers it. There's no one online, meaning two reasons are possible: One, one of the Pride Troopers is tricking Jiren, and two, there's a mysterious caller, ready to strike the place. The lights turn off, as Jiren was done thinking of the possibilities.
Jiren: I guess the second reason is the right answer.
(Communicator rings)
Jiren: At least the communicators are still working. (Picks up the communicator) Hello?
Top: Jiren! Are you still in your room!?
Jiren: Yes. Why is that?
Top: I don't know, but it seems that our electricity has gone down. We need all of the elites to come to the area. But first, you know the protocols of an emergency lock-down. Find a Pride Trooper and tag along with him or her. We'll be in the panic room, waiting for you! Out! (Hangs up)
Jiren: (Sighs, while putting the communicator in his pocket) Always with the protocols. (gets out of his bed, walks to the door, and opens it.) I'll be fine by myself. I don't need anyone to take care of me. I'm the strongest in my room, headquarters, this team, and this universe. I don't need no help. (Closes his eyes) (If there was only one person I could be with, it would be Kari. She would be comfortable to talk to for hours. If only she was still better, then she would have been...Ugh! What am I saying!? She's fine of her home planet, so everything between me and her is fine!) It's hard to see in the dark, but I can still sense some energy around this floor.
?: Ugh! (Bumps into Jiren's chest)
Jiren: (Holds onto the person) (Wait...that figure. It almost feels like...Kari!? She can't be in this building! How!? Her hair...her skin…and that back of hers...they're almost the same. I wish that I could just...keep hugging her for a whi-)
?: Cocotte Zone: Barrier! (Covers herself and Jiren in a bubble) Jiren!?
Jiren: (Looks at Cocotte) C-Cocotte! (Lets go of her) Why are you doing here!?
Cocotte: I live a few rooms on the left on this floor! I was trying to find someone in this dark, but I bumped into someone. I didn't know who it was, so I used my barrier to see who. And here we are!
Jiren: (Blushes hard) So...You're not Kari?
Cocotte: (raises her eyebrow) Why did you thought that I was Kari? She's still on her-
Jiren: (Rubs the back of his head) Home planet? Yes. I know that by now. I guess we should be going to the panic room and see the others.
Cocotte: Okay, but don't tells this to the rest of the guys of what happened! (blushes)
Jiren: Okay.
After that weird encounter, the two members walks down the hallway in Cocotte's barrier. Jiren felt embarrassed about what he did to her. He thought that it was Kari surprising her return to the headquarters. Cocotte was even more embarrassed of not knowing how Jiren was. It was due to the lights being out for a while, so it can't be her fault. It takes them a while to get to the panic room. Cocotte removes her barrier, enters the room with Jiren, and sees the rest of the team, surrounding a table. Top and Kasheral look at the map of the headquarters, thinking that the electrical storage has been down. "We don't know what or who turn off the lights, but we need to get the lights back on, before anyone gets hurt." said Kasheral, before hearing an alarm ring from outside of the building. Top turns on the camera feed from inside of the panic room. The team sees five men outside of the headquarters, two men coming back with a large pair of scissors in their hands, and one of the men faces the camera. He writes something on a big piece of white board. After he's done writing something, he shows it to the camera, for the Pride Troopers to see. "We have turned off your electricity and there's nothing that you can do to stop us." said Top as he read the message. The man isn't done with the messages, as he writes another one for a couple of minutes. He shows this message again, only for the troopers to look at it in terror. "And we're about to steal some of your junior members, if you don't give us a million dollars in cash!" said Top as he finishes reading the message. After the man is done with the messages, he shoots an energy blast at the camera, destroying it. Top commands the rest of the team to come closer for a plan to stop the group from kidnapping the troopers and probably kill someone.
Five Minutes Later…
Top: So...Here's the plan again! Kettle and one member of this group will go outside of the headquarters to turn on the electricity from the electrical storage box. Four of us will be in the bottom three floors of the headquarters to save the rest of the junior troopers, while the other four will take care of the men outside of the headquarters. Are there any questions?
Jiren: Yes. Who will go with whom?
Top: Easy. Through a game of….
(Everyone leans closer)
Top: Rock, Paper, Scissors!
Everyone: AW!
Top: Come on! It's the most fair of the plan to see who gets to go with who. Now let's begin!
Ten Minutes of Rock, Paper, Scissors (*think of it as a montage!)…
Top: Okay! I'll be with Tupper, Kasheral, and Kunshi to save the junior troopers, while Vuon, Dyspo, Zoiray, and Jiren go outside of the building to beat the men. Kettle and Cocotte will be there with you, but will be fixing the storage box. Is that an order!?
(Everyone salutes)
Top: Good! Let's go!
(Everyone leaves the panic room)
Pride Trooper's Headquarters (Ten to Twelve Minutes Later)
The team splits up to do their objectives. Top's group is going to the bottom three floors to save the junior members from the mysterious men. Meanwhile, Jiren's group will be heading out of the building, through the back area. For light, they decided to not use their ki, because of speculation of the men coming into the building, so they're just sensing the energies of each one (Imagine each one of them showing just their eyes and mouths moving for a conversation). Jiren is in the lead of the group, because he's the leader of the group, but at the same time, he feels like he shouldn't. He needs to be more "leader-like" towards the group. He thinks of what would Top do in a time like this. He stops, thus causing the rest of the team members to stop as well. "Did you hear that?" said Jiren "I don't hear anything, Jiren." said Dyspo, before Vuon smacks him in the head. "Idiot! You have big ass ears! You can't hear long distance sounds!?" said Vuon, before getting smacked in the head by Cocotte. "Can you please be more quiet? We need to get out of the building and turn on the electric-" said Cocotte, before Jiren interrupts her with a "SHH!" He sees some light from the end of the hallway. He later hears two men whispering about the ransom that the leader of their group made to the Pride Troopers. "They're coming. Follow my lead. Walk back." said Jiren as he and the rest of the group back up. While they're backing up, the two men in black clothing arrive at the hallway. They talk about how they're going to sell off the junior troopers and get as much money as possible. "Yeah! We're going to have that money for our own lives! I'm going to get that diamond ring that I always wanted!" said one of the men. The other on his right says that he would like to have a kind of item, after getting the money. Before the guys could talk anymore, Vuon uses his Justice Whip to tie them together. Jiren and the rest of the group come out of hiding, seeing the two men on the floor. Since Vuon's Justice Whip has some light, the team can see. Jiren kneels close to the men, removes their masks, and begins the conversation.
Jiren: Tell me. Who's your leader?
Man #1: We will never tell you our leader's name or identity! We are the Black Shadows and we never surrender!
Jiren: (Nods) Okay. Last question: "Why do you want the money for? Exactly.
Man #2: We just need to buy the things that we want. (Looks away) And probably take over Planet Netfiss.
Dyspo: Hah! I heard that! (points at one of the men) You are a global threat!
Man #2: (grunts, and looks at the team) Fine! We need enough money to buy supplies, build a super weapon, and use it to destroy Planet Netfiss! Now can you please let us go!?
Jiren: We got our information. Vuon? Can you stay here and keep these two here?
Vuon: Alright!
Jiren: Team! We're going outside and stopping the Black Shadows tonight!
Team: Right!
(Jiren and the rest leave the hallways)
Bottom Floors of Headquarters…
Top: (Escorts junior troopers out of the headquarters) Come! We need to get as much troopers out of the building!
Kasheral: I think that's the last one. (Closes the door) What about the men in this building?
Top: (His communicator rings) That must be the other team. (Grabs his communicator and answers) Jiren?
Jiren: Top! The Black Shadow are trying to destroy the planet! We need to stop them!
Top: Okay. Get outside first and we'll be right there! (Hangs up) We need to get outside and-
Tupper: I just heard a couple of men coming into the building! (Looks at Top and Kasheral)
Kasheral: When!?
Tupper: I heard glass breaking, so I guess that they broke in. What now?
Top: You and Kunshi stay here, while me and Kasheral leave the building to help the other team. Got it?
Tupper: Got it! (Leaves the area)
Top: (Looks at Kasheral) Let's go! (Leaves the area)
Outside of Pride Trooper's Headquarters (A Few Minutes Later)
The leader of the Black Shadow, who's a bit taller than the rest of the men, tells them to go into the building, stalling the Pride Troopers. Three other men go into the broken door of the headquarter entrance, following the leader's orders. The leader smiles, thinking that the plan will work perfectly. From behind the headquarters, Jiren and the team are heading to the electrical storage box. Kettle sees the box from a few steps ahead. Jiren thinks up another idea to stall the men outside of the headquarters for Kettle to fix the box. He tells Dyspo and Zoiray to create a distraction, while he stays with the two as protection. He and Zoiray nod and leave the alleyway. Kettle walks to the storage box, opens it, seeing a lot of cut wires, and begins charging it with the use of his ki energy. Cocotte builds a barrier around Kettle, so that he's double safe. Jiren sees Dyspo and Zoiray making the distractions as told. The leader of the group sees purple blurs and tornadoes coming out of nowhere. He later sees Jiren's silhouette in the alleyway, thinking that he's behind all of this. Before he can make it to the location, Top and Kasheral come out of the building, blasting away the front entrance. He sees this, pulls out his gun, and prepares to shoot, only for Top to grab his hand and take the gun. "Not today, Black Shadow!" said Top as he crushes the gun, throws the leader to the ground, and tells Kasheral to check on the other group. He understands, runs to the alleyway, seeing Jiren and the rest completely fine. This goes on for several minutes, until the headquarter's lights begin to turn back on. Kettle has turn on the electricity. Top and the others have captured the Black Shadow members in ropes. They completely stopped their plan in taking over Planet Netfiss.
Twenty Minutes Later…
(Black Shadow member being teleport to carrier ship)
Top: You all will be sent to another Pride Trooper's headquarters as prisoners! This is what happens, when you mess with the Pride Troopers! (Poses-Think of some kind of pose!)
Black Shadow Leader: We will get out of our jail cells and rain terror onto the planet! This I swe- (Door shuts close)
Dyspo: Hahaha! That's what you get! (Looks at Jiren) Jiren?
Jiren: (Looks at Dyspo) Yes? What is it?
Dyspo: I was wondering...Cocotte has been blushing at you for a while and...This is going to be a long stretch for me, but… "Are you and her in a thing?"
Jiren: (Raises his eyebrow) What kind of "thing?"
Dyspo: You know, you and her get along more, you two hug and kiss each other on the cheeks, before getting to the lips and then you get it on down there. (Points to his groin)
Jiren: (Blushes a little) Uh…
Cocotte: (Slaps Dyspo in the face) Idiot! Me and Jiren are not in a relationship!
Dyspo: (Rubs his cheeks) Ouch! Dammit! I was just curious! Ugh! Well...at least the mission is over and we can get ready for the missions tomorrow. See ya two later! (Goes into the building)
Cocotte: (blushes at Jiren) I-I hope that what I did earlier was-
Jiren: No. It wasn't. It was a bit embarrassing for me to think that you were Kari. I'm sorry.
Cocotte: That's okay. I know that you miss her so much. Me, too. Same goes for the rest of us, Jiren. I'll see you tomorrow. (Goes into the headquarters)
Jiren: (Looks up at the sky) (Kari...Get better soon.) (goes into the headquarters)
