Here we are at Chapter 4. This is one of my favorite openings in the series, tied with opening 6 for first place in my opinion. Anyway, I do not own RWBY. They belong to roosterteeth. I only own my OCs. Here's chapter 4. Enjoy.

Chapter 4: Let's Just Live

...Music begins...

Grimm claws reach out at a glowing orb, only for a Beowolf to chomp down on it. Eight balls of light out of the jaws, each in a different color, flowing around each other. The eight orbs then burst out of the fallen Beacon tower before a map of Remnant is seen, with two orbs going to Atlas, two to Patch, to to Menagarie, and two to Anima.

...It used to feel like a fairytale. Now it seems we were just pretending...

Khazhak is seen in a forest, clenching his prosthetic fist before a gust of wind turns his attention to Ruby and Team JNR, all smiling at him.

...We'd fix our world, then on our way to a happy ending...

Khazhak and his friends walk through the forest as a crow flies by, showing Qrow holding his scythe. Qrow smiles at them before turning to Voshkie'ahk standing next to him, who looks sadly at her brother.

...Then it turned out life was far less like a bedtime story...

Weiss looks up from reading a book to see Edom moving up from behind her. Edom turns to see Klein and Whitley Schnee, followed by Jacques Schnee with General Ironwood behind him. Weiss then holds her head with one of her glyphs behind her.

...Than a tragedy with no big reveal of a hero's glory...

Blake is on a ship. She turns on one side to see Sun along with her parents, Ghira and Kali Belladonna. But, then she turns the other way, only to see Porphyrius glaring at her while aiming one of his rifles at her.

...And it seems we weren't prepared... For a game that wasn't fair...

In Patch, a one-armed Yang is on one knee before Taiyang, who holds a hand out for her, and Lloyd who merely crosses is arms, frowning at her. Yang then holds her head, seeing a faint version of her with both of her arms taking their place. She then appears to be falling, with the shadowy form of Adam Taurus behind her before Corsac and Fennec Albain appear.

...Do we just go home? Can we follow through? When all hope is gone... There is one thing left to do...

Hazel is seen in a dark realm, smashing his fist against one hand, an injured Cinder Fall looks away, Tyrian Callows smiles sinisterly, and Arthur Watts merely narrows his eyes. At the top of the mountain, Salem stands, her red eyes glowing as a pack of Beowolves appear before them.

...Let's just live. Day by day. And not be conquered by our sorrows...

Khazhak swings his sword two times at Tyrian, who spins on his hands before sending a scorpion kick at him while he attacks with his left hand. Blake jumps back when Porphyrius swings his blades at her. She draws her katana and clashes her blade against his as their eyes meet.

...The past can't hold us down. We must break free...

Edom stands in the middle of a large room and flexes his hand out, sending out his skull phantoms.

…Inside we're torn apart. But time will mend our heart...

Nora smashes her hammer on one Beowolf, while Ren slashes through a second with his pistol blades, followed by Jaune coming in, swinging his sword through one and sending another flying with his shield. Jaune then lowers his shield as more Grimm approach his team. The group are then seen around a large boulder together, with Jaune having his arms crossed in front of it, Ren kneeling on the rock, Nora leaning up against it, Ruby standing next to it while holding her scythe, and Khazhak next to her with his sword out.

...Move onward. Not there yet. So let's just live...

The members of Team KEPL stand together, each one looking up into the sky, with Khazhak taking a step forth and raising his hand into the air before clenching it.
