Welcome to what is possibly my most ridiculous and worst edited chapter so far! Holy shit did give me grief with the coding this chapter! That had never happened before it literally (not really) killed me.
Chapter 3
Naruto, the Honeytrap! Act 3
Last edited: 20/05/2020
Don't drink anything you haven't prepared yourself. Smile a lot. Look interested. Don't look too interested in the things you really want to know. Laugh at ALL jokes. Maintain eye contact. Naruto's notes consisted of more concepts she had to wrap her head around. At the same time, she wondered how she was going to pull this off.
"It's not too hard if you pretend the target is a child," Sakura added while peering at Naruto's notes. Naruto supposed it could make sense when it was put that way.
"Yeah, a child that you want in the sack with," Ino inputted. Never mind, nothing made sense. She focused harder on her notes, more perplexed than ever.
"Damnit, Ino! You're confusing her with nonsense like that!" Sakura scowled. Ino glared at Sakura, "I see nothing wrong with my explanation?" Their bickering was quickly cut off by a sharp clap from Kurenai.
"You're both right in different ways." The raven-haired beauty told them with a straight face. Sai, who was seated at the desk next to Naruto, frowned but wrote down these extra pieces of information. "However, now we are up to the final component. I think this is where we will get the most effective results." Kurnai then shuffled through her bag, pulling out various costume pieces. She called Ino over, who looks curiously at the items being lifted out before grinning viciously.
Kurenai looked at Naruto steadily. "We'll be doing a simulation of sorts. Naruto, if you'd please," she motioned Naruto up to the front of the classroom. At this point, Ino was already donning a fake moustache and pulling her hair up into a hat. "Now, Naruto, I was informed you're an active learner, so we will play through a scenario, try to think back to what you've just been taught, and try and act them out with Ino as your partner." Naruto nodded hesitantly as she eyed Ino warily.
"Imagine Ino as the target. Try to approach her suitably." Kurenai finished and stepped back to watch from the student side of the classroom. Ino plopped herself down heavily into the teachers' desk with a large moan and proceeded to pretend she was drinking at a bar.
Naruto stood awkwardly to the side, trying to think back to her notes. So Ino is drinking, so she shouldn't allow Ino to tamper with her own drink? But if she gets her own drink, how does she engage with Ino? Maybe she should say hello? Naruto walked up to Ino's side, where Ino peered up at her. Naruto then slammed her hand down on the desk, making Ino jolt. "HEY! I'm Naruto Uzumaki! Believe it!" She grinned widely.
"Stop!" Kurenai shouted and stalked up to the desk, ignoring Sakura, pissing herself laughing and Sai's deep grimace. "Naruto-chan. Why do you think I stopped you?" Kurenai looked at her student, patiently waiting while Naruto stumbled, trying to figure out what she did wrong. "I wasn't supposed to say my name?" She fumbled. Kurenai shook her head, but before she could respond, Ino butted in.
"Eh, Naruto. You have 0 sex appeal. What man wants a woman screaming in her face like that!" Ino complained as she rubbed the deafened ear Naruto shouted in. Naruto visibly deflated, still not understanding what else she was supposed to have done put on the spot like that. Sure, she could have been a bit quieter, she guessed. Sai stood up from his seat suddenly.
"Kurenai-sensei could I perhaps try? I believe I may know the correct method to this scenario?" He looked at her with a straight face. When he got the nod of approval, he proceeded to apply red lipstick.
Sai approached the desk where Ino continued to mime drinking, slouched over the desk. He leaned down towards Ino, and when she looked back at him, he proceeded to smile. "Hello, sir," Sai said formally as Ino raised a brow.
"Ay' toots." She smirked.
Sai proceeded to laugh a gentle and fake laugh. "Oh my sir, you flatter me." He put a hand onto his check bashfully and then proceeded to bat his eyelashes. Naruto gaped. It was perfect, textbook perfect, infact. How did she not realise? She was supposed to play a frivolous fool, not as herself. She clapped a fist onto her hand, nodding vigorously. If this is what she needs to do, this is easy.
"Such a sexy stud like you. I would enjoy the ravishing of your mouth upon my body," Sai took Ino's hand gently and then proceeded to put it over his crotch as he let out a soft moan.
"STOP!" Kurenai yelled again, this time with more urgency.
Ino blinked up at Kurenai, "I didn't see anything wrong with that." She commented. Kurenai glared, and Sai brushed Ino's hand away, perplexed. "I don't understand? I did everything as the subtext implied. I was kind and sexually open." He frowned. Kurenai shook her head. "You had the correct attitude Sai, but you were too forward. Only a prostitute would be so forthcoming. The goal is to coax information, not to necessarily sleep with the target." She finished.
Sai tilted his head thoughtfully. "So although females want to be recognised sexually, they do not want to be sexualised?" He asked. Kurenai's eye twitched a little, "It's dependant on the context Sai," she said lamely. "In this context, the target is for a mission. We don't want to engage with them physically unless it's necessary." Sai nodded slowly and went back to his desk to write down more notes.
"Other than the promiscuity, Sai's example was fairly accurate… Naruto, would you like to try again?" She really wouldn't, not that it mattered. At least she had a better grasp of what to do this time. She approached Ino this time with much more confidence. Yeah, she totally had this in the bag. All she needed to do was introduce herself again, Sai style. She looked down at Ino, who was pretending to drink yet again. She placed her hand down on the desk with much less vigour this time.
"Hi!" She chirped.
Oops, maybe that was too loud.
She narrowed her eyes hesitantly to Kurenai, who didn't show any reaction. Alright! Perfect! Haha, she totally had this nailed down. Naruto continued to smile down at Ino, beaming with pride at her perfectly executed greeting.
"Now, what's a sweet little thing like you doing in a dive like this?" Ino purred. Naruto blinked. Okay, maybe she hadn't thought this far ahead. Ino proceeded to place her hand onto Naruto's and rub her thumb circles over the sensitive skin.
What?
This isn't what happened with Sai? What the hell is she supposed to do now? She sweated anxiously, trying to come up with a response. "I- Uhm, well you see…" notes, notes, what did the notes say? What did Sakura say? Treat the child as a target!
She giggled nervously and slid her hand out of Ino's to scratch the back of her head. "I was just getting a drink! What about you? Aren't you a little too young to be drinking?" She laughed. Ino smirked and stood up from her chair, coming eye to eye with Naruto.
"No younger than you, honey." She leered and slid an arm around Naruto's waist. Instinctively Naruto froze up at the intimate contact. Ino was standing way too close, and the look in her eyes was predatory.
"Get whatever you want baby, it's on me," Ino whispered into her ear, obviously using too much breath to tickle her. The hand on her waist squeezed and- "Ah!" Naruto squealed and pushed Ino back with exceeding force making her fall roughly onto the ground with a groan. "What the hell, Naruo! Be careful with the goods!" She whined from the floor.
"Maa, I thought something like this would happen."
All eyes swirled to the back of the classroom, where Kakashi stood casually with his hands in his pockets. Naruto blushed furiously. Why the hell was here? And lord, oh mighty, why did he have to see that. Naruto suddenly became fully aware of the extra skin peeking from her skirt. The others told her it was flattering. She looked down to her tanned thighs and peeked up from her eyelashes towards her old sensei. Did he notice it too? He didn't seem to. He wasn't even looking at her! He was making his way, eyes entirely on Kurenai-sensei.
A dark chuckling in the back of her mind antagonised her ego. Pathetic, a meek voice mocked her, one that could only belong to herself. What was with her? Why was she getting so worked up over something so disastrously small? Naruto attempted to swallow the bitter pill telling her it doesn't matter what she wears or how she looks. She will always be his student. Suddenly the honorific she loved so much wasn't as appealing as it once was.
"Why are you here, Kakashi-sensei?" She grouched out, not meaning to sound so hostile. He blinked at her in surprise. "Can't a Hokage check how the latest mission assignment is going?" He asked her pleasantly. Naruto snorted. "It's been half a day. There's no way this is the latest mission."
"Ah," He raised a hand. "Sorry, I meant most important." He then turned back the expectant Kurenai and slid her a scroll. "I managed to make contact with somebody quite skilled in this area who I believe will be able to relate with Naruto."
Kakashi called Naruto over, and she simply revelled in the attention, grinning ear to ear as she skipped over to them. "Who is it!? I bet they must be super powerful!" Naruto grinned, and Kakashi crinkled his eye at her in his own smile.
"Oh? You already know them. I'm sure they would love such compliments."
Naruto tilted her head, someone she already knew, huh? Kurenai opened the scroll, and a look of recognition came over her. "I see. Thank you, Kakashi-sama." She looked over to Naruto. "Naruto-chan, if you would please make a summoning with this contract?"
Naruto blinked now, suddenly wishing she was a bit more exploration in her fūinjutsu studies so she could understand what exactly she was agreeing to. Naively, she bit onto her thumb with a canine, allowing blood to pool, and smeared it across the parchment. In a poof of hazy smoke, she barely registered a sharp pain coming from her right thigh as she fell down, immobilised.
Groaning on the floor, she felt cold sweats dripping from her. Large hands picked her from the floor, placing her into one of the many chairs littered around the room. "
What the hell just happened?" She groaned.
A hand rested on her forehead, as the smoke cleared, she saw Kakashi looking down at her regretfully. "Sorry for the lack of clarity Naruto, I'm afraid you were the only one the reverse summoning was made for. You've been temporally poisoned. However, on the bright side, you are much more immune to snake poisons than the rest of us. It should only last a few more seconds" The glove hand on her forehead slowly slid firmly across her face to wipe off the sweat that was beading. As Kakashi attempted to dry her, Naruto could already feel the life returning to her numb legs.
"Seriously?" She complained, gingerly raising her hand to flex the fingers. She was starting to feel a bit better. She frowned at the wound slowly healing on her leg and traced a finger over the snake bite.
"Sorry," she heard murmured from the masked man above her. She looked up, noticing Kakashi was watching where her fingers were caressing. She felt a little bit of heat rising to her cheeks as she realised just how high her skirt was hitched up. She looked transfixed at the eyes so steadily focused on her hand, she raised the hand off from her leg, slowly placing it to her lips out of curiosity of what he would do. Would he follow he hand anywhere? She felt as though she was in control of some magic spell as those eyes watched every movement. She observed in quiet astonishment as those dark eyes trailed up her face and for one heart stopping moment charcoal clashed with crystalline blue before the spell was over. Kakashi quickly averted his gaze as though nothing happened and turned to Sasuke.
"Welcome back, Sasuke. Sorry to had to put a halt to your travels."
By now, the smoke had cleared fully, revealing Sasuke standing in the middle of the room. "The Teme!" Naruto exclaimed, she looked up at Kakashi pleadingly, jutting out her bottom lip in a pout. "You can't be serious! What the hell will be able to teach me in this!" She stressed. Kakashi's hands were already shoved back into his pockets much to her disappointment. Naruto resisted the urge to state just as much.
"Sasuke has become exceptionally skilled in this area of expertise. I would say since Kurenai's retirement, he has probably become Konoha's number ninja in kunoichi espionage." Kakashi assured Naruto. "And due to your relationship, I deduced he would have the strongest impact in such a short amount of time." He added.
"Sasuke?" Naruto stated the elephant in the room. Kurenai nodded her head in agreement. "Sasuke-san is one of Konoha's best undercover honey traps." She says positively reinforcing Kakashi, the reaction was not ideal. Chaos ensured.
"How am I not surprised!" Ino busted out laughing. Sakura blushed furiously, hands on her cheeks uttering, "that's not possible…" Naruto was furious, sputtering around. If she was upset before, she was having a seizure at this point! "Sasuke-teme! No way, you limey bastard! You have to be so damn good at everything, huh!? Couldn't beat me in a fight, so he decided to beat me at being a woman! I'll show you! You gender stealing-"
"Sasuke-san, we have much to observe… I never expected your journey to have been so worldly…" Sai softly commented thoughtfully.
Naruto pushed herself up on the chair a little wobbly as she made her way towards Sasuke to get all up in her personal space so she could glare at him. He glared down back at her in barely concealed annoyance.
"What's with the look, Dobe?" He let out, refusing to back down. She glared even harder, jutting her chest out and lifting her chin even higher. Damn, these height differences! "What's with YOUR look, Teme!" She shouted. Any lesser man would have flinched or at least cringed at being screamed at in such close proximity.
Kakashi clapped a hand merrily. "I am so happy to see my two adorable students getting along so well!" He smiled, "I expect to see great results." He commented and made his way to the window ignoring Sakura's whine in the background.
"C'mon, Kakashi, we aren't little kids anymore!" She called as she waved goodbye and disappeared out the window. What with Ninjas and their apparent preference of windows over perfectly fine doors?
"So, Sasuke-kun," Ino started, looking pointedly in Sasuke's direction. "How is restoring your clan?" She giggled as Sakura flushed. Sasuke gave her a critical look, "I haven't made that priority at the point in time," he stated simply.
"Oh?" Ino continued with a mischievous grin. "No lady back here in Konoha has tickled your fancy?" She pried. He titled his head, angling the bangs out of his eyes as he gave her a regarding look. "Not particularly."
Ino reached out an arm and roughly tugged Sakura towards her. "Not even your two closest female companions? Not Naruto? Not even this gorgeous flower? Sakura would make a great mother don't you think?" She gushed at Sakura turned even pinker, her skin camouflaging into her hair. "Quit it, Ino," she hissed. Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "That's ridiculous. They are like family to me." Ino faltered as Sakura visibly deflated.
"Team Seven…" Ino picked herself back up again as she looked towards Sakura merrily. "Just one big happy family~" She singsonged. "Where they all want to sleep with-"Ino was cut off into a shriek as she attempted to dodge Sakura's fist.
Sasuke sighed and looked away. "Look, I heard about the mission." He allowed himself to give Naruto a look of exasperation as if to silently say, 'are you really doing this?'. Naruto scowled and folded her arms defensively. "What of it?" She grouched.
"What of it?" He repeated her incredulously. "It's dangerous Dobe, you're underqualified. You'll be a mouse caught in a trap, knowing you they'll probably traffic you too." He stated blandly and turned away from the sputtering blonde shout obscenities, and looked towards Kurenai, who was waiting patiently for the reunion to end quickly.
"Why does the Dobe need me exactly? I was only informed of her accepting the mission and what kind. I doubt I can assist a lost cause. Kakashi was ill-advised in recommending her." He narrowed his eyes at Kurenai.
"That's enough, Sasuke. Naruto is a capable as any other shinobi-" Sasuke snorted, "Kakashi-sama thought it would be in Naruto's best interest if you were to display your talent." Kurenai finished. All eyes were on the Sasuke in interest.
"I see." He started, refusing to look at the prying eyes. "I have one condition." He stated amongst the ridiculous rambunctious young adults. Kurenai met him eye to eye, "what would that be Sasuke-san?" She asked. "Me and the Dobe. Alone. I won't allow the other idiots to make a show out of this." He demanded. Kurenai nodded her head hesitantly. She was a little curious to see what he would do as well. "I suppose that's fine… but only for 30 minutes. We're on a tight schedule." He nodded in agreement and waited for Kurenai to clear the room out, ignoring the protests.
"How unfortunate," Sai sighed as he exited.
Once, he was sure there was no eavesdropping or peeping eyes turned back to Naruto.
"What's with the skirt, Dobe?" He raised an eyebrow. Naruto tilted her head, "Eh? Sakura bought it for me. Everyone thought it was cute." She proceeded to do a high kick flashing the skirt up, revealing her shorts. Sasuke quickly averted his eyes.
"Idiot! Don't do ridiculous naïve things like that!" He hissed. Naruto smirked. "Oh, you're too scared to look up a girl's skirt? So shy Sasu-chan," She cooed, successfully bothering him further. "Never say my name like that again, or I'll rip your mouth out." He growled. He pushed himself up against her making Naruto stumble backward into one of the desks. Faster than she could think, two hands slammed on either side of her trapping her against the desk. Sasuke leaned his face in close, so close she could feel the heat radiating off from him. One steely dark eye was uncovered by the bangs that hid the Rinnegan looked at her unyielding.
Ba-thump
"Don't go flashing your skirt up if you don't want this kind of attention." Sasuke breathed.
Her heart palpitations echoed into her ears. What just happened? Why did she suddenly feel so vulnerable? She should punch him. Why won't her hands move? The more she thought about it, the more she realised she was frightened of all ridiculous things.
"Hn." Sasuke leaned back, his arms freeing her as he folded them elegantly against his chest. "I thought as much. You're emotionally underdeveloped."
Naruto's heart finally began to slow down. She started feeling control over herself again. "What do you mean?" She rasped out. He gave her a knowing look and brushed a hand through his hair. "What I mean, Naruto, is you don't know how to respond to emotional intimacy. You should have pushed me off. I intentionally put you into a position of vulnerability." He stated and turned around to scan the notes on the wall. "You can read these notes all you want, but you won't understand them without having experienced them in any way. We build our knowledge from our experiences."
"And what? You've experienced everything Kurenai-sensei has been trying to teach me?" She asked. Sasuke tilted his head. "More or less." He commented. "I'll admit, perhaps not personally from myself, but I've had enough girls pursue me in my lifetime to understand their behaviours and motives." He went up to the teacher's desk and sat down at it.
"Can you think of anyone who liked you or maybe someone you like?" He started, leaning back in the chair a little bit. Naruto, for the life of her, would have never thought she would be having this conversation with Sasuke. This was talk usually reserved for Sakura and Ino on their insistence.
"I guess I could think of somebody…" Kakashi floated around in her head obnoxiously as Kurama chuckled in the background, obviously listening in. "Okay, Dobe, and how do they behave or how do you behave?" Again, her mind immediately drifted to the memory of what had happened just moments before, to when she locked onto Kakashi watching her every move as she played with her hands.
"I don't know. I feel compelled to do strange things." She hesitated, "It's like I'm not myself, I guess."
"Right," Sasuke eyed her curiously. "Well, as long as you understand the feeling of attraction, you can hone into that and use it for deception." Naruto scratched the back of their head nervously. "How exactly am I supposed to do that?"
Sasuke sighed, looking already worn out. "Deception works best when it's based on the truth. Suppose you can understand how it feels to be attracted to somebody. In that case, you can rewire your brain to behave in the same manner with anyone else. Try to treat me the way you'd treat your crush." He looked at her expectantly, waiting for her to approach him.
Naruto hesitantly approached the desk. Sasuke was seated, and started willing herself to try and react as though she were walking up to Kakashi. With Kakashi, she always wanted his undivided attention. She wanted him to be pleased with her. And even more so now than ever before, she discovered that she revelled for him to be transfixed by her. But it sounds so easy to want those things. To try and get them from Sasuke? That just felt alien.
She looked into his uncovered eye. Maybe it wouldn't be so hard. His eye was almost the same shade as Kakashi's. She felt a pull towards them. Dear lord, does she just have a thing for dark eyes? They seem never-ending. Where does the pupil begin? She put her hands on the desk. She wanted to lean in closer to quench her curiosity.
The last thing she expected was to feel a hand coming on top of her own. It pulled her out of the haze she was beginning to draw herself into. She suddenly became all too aware of the boy seated across from her and the weight over her own hand. The spell that was cast was once again broken. She felt awkward.
"This is a problem," Sasuke stated to the awkward woman, without withdrawing his hand. "You started fine, but as soon as I initiated any contact, you obviously withdrew into a shell. That will not fly on a seduction mission. You can be as timid as you like but to look shell shocked over a meagre touch such as this." His hand immediately slipped up beneath her jacket sleeve, and on impulse, Naruto backed the fuck right out of there. She pulled back with a shudder, successfully removing the touch.
"It's not alluring at all for someone to be disgusted by a touch."
Naruto sweated and pondered that for a moment before she frowned and glared at Sasuke. "It's only because you're touching me so weird, ya bastard!" She retaliated. Sasuke did not look impressed, so she continued to ramble on. "I have no problem with physical affection normally! Sakura is basically rubbing up again me 24-7, and don't get me started on Ino! You know how physical that chick can get!" She cried defensively.
Sasuke sighed yet again. "It's the intentions, dobe." He pulled up from the chair and walked over to the side of the desk. "You can obviously sense the difference between two overly physical friends and somebody touching with the intention that it's more."
He pulled her into a stiff hug, awkward and non-threatening. She couldn't remember a time that Sasuke had ever hugged her on his own will. He must be taking this training seriously! He pulled out of it almost as quickly as he started it. "A hug between friends isn't hard, is it?" He looked down at her. "But as soon as I do this." His hand raised to brush her bangs behind her ears, and Naruto felt herself go rigid.
"And suddenly you have retreated into yourself."
Naruto regained herself and glared at him. "How do you even know that! I didn't do anything."
"It's in your eyes. You're an open book."
Naruto hummed, she could agree that was a problem, but it didn't make her any less annoyed. "And since when were you the king of physical affection?" She grumbled, and Sasuke smirked.
"Since I decided in order to restore my clan, I better start practicing what it would entail."
Naruto flushed in second hand embarrassment, "I cannot believe you just said that to me!" She yelled as her hands reached up to cool down her hot cheeks.
"Hn," Sasuke replied.
"Whatever, Dobe, you better start practicing too unless you're looking to blow your cover. Not that you have much time left." He stated. Naruto didn't know whether to slap him for the comment or sink further in embarrassment.
"You still a virgin, Dobe?" He asked nonchalantly, so Naruto decided a heavy punch was the correct course of action. The annoying prick he is, however, simply ducked below it in an effortless dodge. "I guess that answers that." He said.
"So what if I am or not! That doesn't mean anything-" She started, ready to challenge him to healthy spar. "It doesn't," he cut her off, making her falter a little bit. She had been expecting him to keep digging into her to try and embarrass her further. "It does, however, make this even more difficult."
He looked at her in concern. "What if your first time is taken against your will, Dobe?" he said, and she felt her blood freeze. "It's a risk. It doesn't matter if it's unlikely." He continued. Naruto shook her head. "That's not going to happen. It's not just me in here," Naruto placed a hand against her jacket where her stomach is. "That will never happen." She growled.
"Hn." Sasuke deadpanned. What the hell kind of answer was that when he brings up such a serious topic. "It's not impossible." He elaborated. Naruto huffed in annoyance and levelled a glare at Sasuke. The last thing she expected was for him to lean in closer and place a chaste kiss on her lips.
What the actual fuck! Her face lit on fire as she backed the hell away, falling onto the floor and scrambling as far away as she could, until her back hit the walls of the classroom.
"What the hell, Sasuke! You said Naruto wasn't an option!" Ino screamed from the doorway.
Oh god.
Naruto's eyes switched to the doorway faster than she could ever comprehend, where the group of four were standing agape. Sakura, in particular, looked mortally wounded. "Sasuke-kun, you lied to us," the pink-haired girl managed to grapple out, sounding as though she had just been punched in the gut.
"Don't read too much into it, idiots." Sasuke turned his head around to angle them an irritated glare. "I'm training her more in these last minutes more than you all achieved in hours." He hmphed. Ino snorted, "training or grooming? We weren't out to molest her."
Un-shockingly this seemed to only aggravate Sasuke more. "This is why I requested half an hour, not fifteen minutes." He growled viciously. "The dobe doesn't need training in how to seduce other idiots. She needs to get accustomed to the physical attacks from perverted losers."
Naruto delicately placed her fingers onto her lips. The second time she has ever kissed a guy, and it was god damn Sasuke, AGAIN! That bastard, she was going to kill him. Training my ass, that was too far! She started regaining her senses, ready to land multiple blows on her best friend/rival. Unfortunately for Naruto, she had utterly missed the discussion taking place amidst her thought processing of what the hell the bastard had just done to her.
"I see," she numbly made out Sakura saying suddenly not looking so downtrodden. "Then I will also do my best, Sasuke-kun." What? Some giggles and cracked knuckles, and suddenly Sakura was standing right above Naruto. She put crawled down to successfully lock Naruto against the wall she was leaning against. Sakura leaned above her rather menacingly. Her green eyes looked so pretty up close Naruto noticed, as she looked in shock into the vivid green, almost glowing ambers. A timid blush appeared on Sakura's face as she looked back at Naruto.
Sakura didn't give Naruto the chance to question anything. Soft, small lips were immediately crushing against her own unmoving. The lips stayed locked longer than Sasuke's and pressed much firmer, but they were as stiff as a rock. It wasn't unpleasant, but it was uncomfortable. Naruto didn't know what the hell to do. When did she become a kissing booth? She sat rigidly until Sakura pulled off.
Sakura gracefully got up from the floor and offered a hand for Naruto heaving her up. Naruto looked at her friend, baffled. "Sakura-chan…" She started, not quite sure what to say as she accepted the hand.
"Move over, forehead. It's my turn!" Ino chimed and brushed past Sakura to wrap her arms around Naruto's waist, pushing the girl up against her. She grinned widely at Naruto's flushed face before tilting her face to lock lips with her fellow blonde. The soft lips moved against her, and it lasted entirely too long.
Then a slippery tongue ran itself against the bottom lip, and she was done. She roughly shoved Ino off her with unnecessary force making the woman fall on her arse for the second time that day.
"That's no way to thank your friends!" Ino yelped from the floor. "Thank you? Guys! This is so fucked up. I'm not some doll you can pass around for kissing practice!" Naruto retorted hotly.
"Be glad it's just kissing, Dobe," Sasuke grunted. "We'll stop when you stop reacting like a twelve-year-old girl." Naruto gaped at the accusation. "How is anyone supposed to react when their supposed friends suddenly start doing weird, perverted shit like this!" Naruto defended, waving her hands about sporadically.
Sakura placed her hand on Naruto's shoulder and looked at the blonde pleadingly. "Naruto-chan, please," she begged, "we are only trying to help you overcome this." Naruto looked at her friend hesitantly. Why was Sakura talking to her as if this were life or death?
"Yeah, besides, what's a little kiss? This is children's play. I reckon we should be delving in a lot deeper than this." Ino inputted. Naruto frowned and then turned her own pouting face to Kurenai, who at this point was still standing at the doorway looking exasperated.
"Kurenai-sensei, this can't possibly be considered training!" She stressed. Kurenai gave Naruto a withering look of pity. "I admit it's certainly not conventional…" she started and stepped into the room. "But I can't deny Sasuke's observation," she added hesitantly.
"There might be some merit in this. If this can successfully put down your guard to emotional intimacy." Kurenai finished, although she didn't look thoroughly convinced by her own statement. Naruto shook her head viciously in denial. "All this is going to do is give me nightmares!" She cried.
Reluctantly Kurenai admitted, "that is also a possibility." But Naruto's complaints were mostly ignored. The unorderly group of young adults continued to round-robin kiss their friend until she was no longer either shoving them off for being too dedicated to task or freezing up like a human corpse.
Kiba, who happened to be passing the academy, wondered what all the commotion was about as he heard yells coming from the school on a weekend. Taking a tiny peek, he watched broken-hearted as he saw his blonde crush being pressed up against his new rival in love, Ino, in what he assumed was a passionate kiss. He was even more shocked when he saw the usually moralistic Sakura also place a kiss on the girl and turned around icily, crumpling his iced tea he has previously been sipping.
"I fuckin' knew it." He scowled. He knew it all along, and yet they had the gall to beat him over the head for his homosexual accusations.
So hope I hope I didn't freak anyone out too much with what a massive fever dream this chapter came out as lmao. I know where I want this story to go and have imagined the big parts out of where I want it to progress but sometimes getting from point a to point b is taking me to point c instead, I love reading all your reviews and they actually give me some ideas on what direction I should take.
I hope Sasuke being a bit direct wasn't annoying, I like to think after his final battle with Naruto he became more caring towards the character, when he says he feels Naruto's pain at the end of the battle I kind of interpreted as bruh Sasuke is in love with Naruto so I think my writing may have come out with some SasuNaru vibes, I did attempt to dilute it though because I have no intention of incorporating any romance with those two characters, not in this fic at least.
I know a lot of you are SasuNaru fans reading this hahaha. The question of SasuSaku or InoSaku has come up a few times, I'm not sure what the side pairings will be if I'm going to be honest, I wrote this with the intention of being a romantic comedy with femNaru and Kakashi, so really I'm just kind of analysing the character interactions as I write them and will probably decide if there's any chemistry there.
